Gelato Festival - Hollywood

Strongly recommend everyone to try the Yuzu Vinegar flavour, you will be surprised and amazed. A small cup can only get one flavour and that's $7. However, order two flavours on a large cup, you simply need to add a bit more with a price of $9 (without tips). There aren't a lot of choices of ice-cream and they don't have any seats so you have to take your ice-cream out.

The best ice cream in Los Angeles. Delicious and produced with high quality ingredients. There are various options and also a lot of vegan products. The staff and the manager are nice and friendly. You must try it if you pass by the Dolby theater and if you want to try a real Italian gelato or sorbetto.

Previously on Melrose, but THANKFULLY still here and now located conveniently (for tourists anyways) on Hollywood Blvd. (on the same side of the Dolby Theater & ACROSS the street from Ghiradelli’s - nor a coincidence, I’m sure). Don’t bother with need t any other gelato option in the area. I’ve had mucho gelato in this town and this is the ONLY place that has the best, creamiest, most authentic quality. Even the VEGAN gelato is incredible & would fool any non-vegan. If you learn about their training and history, then you’ll know why their products are SO amazing. Yes, its pricey, but worth it. Mainly a take-out place, but there’s lots of spots at the adjacent mall to sit at (find me on Instagram via @aida.loves )

Gelato Festival in Hollywood Blvd is worth it. The vegan gelato is so good you would not know the difference between regular and vegan. The texture is creamy. The regular gelato is rich and creamy but not heavy it is the perfect balance where the different ingredients mesh well. Definitely a place to enjoy.

Service is great! Your allowed to taste test before you buy. Love that! Yummy goodness.

7$ the small cup, 9$ large one. Only one perfume in the small one et until three in the large. Why can’t they pour the small with two perfumes is a good question. In conclusion very expansive for normal icecream. Clearly not the best one I’ve tasted. Strawberry taste artificial.

After trying at least 7 different samples of gelato and sorbet, I finally decided to get the strawberry sorbet in a small cup. It was really delicious and I enjoyed it. The ambience was great and the service was amazing. They also validated my parking for me. Thank you.

This was one of the best Ice Cream events I have attended. The flavors were out of this world. We paid $40 for this ticket but this was 10000% worth every penny. The customer service right by the entrance was very good. They were very accommodating and welcoming to everyone. The venue was right in the grounds of the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The ice cream makers were there from all over the world. Some of them also have their shops here in California and other parts of the country. Some were from Italy and some from Spain. These ice cream makers were big names in the industry, in fact some of them were also tv celebrities. Now let's talk about the flavors: we had from honey and rosemary to indulging rose to saffron. The flavor profile was so crazy that one's pallet is not use to such flavors. It was just amazing. It was a drive from Riverside but it was worth it.

There aren't that many flavors to choose from that are normal dairy flavors. A lot of them are vegan and non dairy. Got an affogato with a non vanilla flavor because vanilla dairy gelato wasn't available. Also pretty expensive.

I'm only sorry I didn't find this shop earlier considering I'm always passing by Hollywood and Highland. This place is the best. I was going to a gelato shop Downtown before it became just an automated machine at the storefront. The quality was not there for me with the self-service even waiting for it to defrost per the container instructions. I started to wonder where else I could go. I don't know, I feel lucky. Super sweet cashier with a smile ready to be of service. Very friendly and welcoming. Price point is great for the amount of gelato you get. Generous portions. I went with the three flavors in the large cup for $9 and took what I couldn't eat home for later. Flavors are fantastic, quality and texture are perfect. I don't know if they seasonally change everything; I assume so because I got the vegan version of the pumpkin, the pistachio, and the mint chocolate chip. Good vibes all around. Looking forward to returning.

Stopped by here with my family while we were touring the city on our visit. And the gelato here tastes wonderful, and the staff here are really nice and friendly. The two lovely staff gave us suggestions and samples and were very helpful, I will definitely come here again on my next visit

Delicious gelato! Ari served up the gelato to perfection. Lemon sorbet and hazel nut flavors for our enjoyment! Highly recommend.

I think this location was once occupied by Grom Gelato many years ago. We were in the area looking for vegan dessert options and Gelato Festival's offerings sounded more intriguing than the nearby cookie dough place that I originally wanted to check out. Congratulations Gelato Festival...you lured me away from another dessert place...lol! I have zero regrets. The oat-based Pistachio flavor was calling out to me. Since the small size could be split into two flavors, I knew the Chocolate would pair well with Pistachio. The flavors and textures totally hit the spot on a hot summer day. It was the very first time eating gelato and it's been amazing experience and will definitely recommend to eat there for a snack of refreshing ice cream and they let you try free samples of everything they have

I was out shopping with my girls and they wanted to go here. Went in and we were able to taste test first which was great! The mint chocolate chip is lit and good. The girls working here were super sweet and gave great customer service. Cute little cart held the gelato.

A cute little shop that you don't want to pass by. Even it's for a sample or a quick drink. This place is so good. I haven't had anything that I didn't like. Journey gave us the best customer service and we just lived his attitude and kind spirit. We were happy to get samples and didn't want to stop there. I loved how the cart was outside and that they offered a seating area. The kids were happy with the flavors and cute spoons. Hubby loved the drinks and was on a search to buy them in bulk after leaving. We are happy to have found this gem

*I LOVE Ice cream, desserts and Gelato* and this is the best gelato spot in LA. I'd heard about it but had never been in person. The store is beautiful, clean and spacious.The flavors are rotating based on who wins the competition, I tried la Dolcevita which is one of their bestsellers, it was creamy and decadent, it didn't disappoint. I LOVE oat milk in my coffee wayyy more than regular milk, so I decided to try it in a gelato. Surprisingly the vegan flavors made with oat milk are very rich, so much so I didn't realize they were vegan. I tried the Cremino Gianduia, and also the Hazelnut in an affogato to-go. The water based flavors are also very creamy I tried the Blueberry Basil and the Pineapple Passionfruit. The highlight was probably the vegan pistachio chocolate waffle cone with a dark chocolate coat and chunks of pistachio on top..... probably the best ice cream I have ever had. I will be back and HIGHLY recommend the is pistachio one if you're into pistachios.
