For the amount of times I’ve been here and the amount of people I’ve recommended this spot to, I can’t believe I haven’t left a review. This place is absolutely one of the best cocktail bars in Manhattan. The ambiance is sexy and dark with an intimate red velvet back bar highlighting their amazing spirits. The bartenders work with precision and have such a stylish look. The secretive entrance is one you must experience in person, it’s great to take your friends from out of town. The space is tight but they make the most of every inch, as any New Yorker would. crafted cocktails are all unbelievable and they can basically make you anything within reason. Will upload pics of my favorites but they do change some their house cocktails often. If you haven’t been here, GO! And shots come in such an adorable antique tea cup… everything is so curated and elegant! Usually I’m coming here after work so I haven’t really had any food here, but they do offer some bar snacks.

I tried Dos Fridas cocktail; it is the best Ramos Fizz variations I have ever tried, very delicious. I also tried the Midnight Cowboy, an awesome Old Fashioned cocktail (Apple and miso butter-infused whiskey). The flavor combination is well balanced and delicious.

George Bang Bang in Koreatown, NYC, is truly a hidden gem — if it weren’t for my local friend, I probably wouldn’t have even known it existed! Tucked away behind an unassuming entrance, this speakeasy-style bar offers an incredible mix of atmosphere and craftsmanship. The vibe is warm, stylish, and intimate — perfect for a relaxed night out or a quiet date spot. The cocktails are creative, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. Every drink feels thoughtfully made, and the service matches the high quality of the experience. A must-visit if you enjoy hidden bars with great ambiance, attention to detail, and top-tier drinks.

A very nice little bar. A bit noisy, but the drinks were excellent. The Most Beautiful Moment in My Life: Lavender Infused Bacardi Rum / Rockey's / Raw Coconut Water / Pineapple Syrup / Lime / Cream Cheese. The lime added to the rum gave it a refreshing, slightly sour taste with an extra fermented aroma. The cream cheese on top made the texture even smoother. It contained pineapple syrup, but surprisingly, I felt no discomfort in stomach after drinking it last night. Great!

It's in the back of Okdongsik. We had the Casablanca and Endless Days of Summer. Casablanca was an espresso martini with cream. I like how the menu has these incredibly complex sounding drinks with 12 different ingredients and in the end it just tastes like literal honey and bourbon. But the space is nice so all good.

A hidden place with a nice atmosphere, somewhere great for a date. I ordered “The most beautiful moment in life,” “Casablanca,” and “Notting hill.” The first and third were good but the second was a bit too strong for me.

I stopped by for a second round on Friday night and really enjoyed the hidden, almost secretive entrance inside Okdongsik, it made the experience feel a bit mysterious and fun. The host was upbeat and welcoming, so the mood was great even before having a drink. The space is quite dark, which made reading the menu a little tricky, but it definitely adds to the intimate, date-night atmosphere. I can’t remember exactly which cocktail I ordered, but it was delicious. I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in the mood, and next time I want to sit at the bar and soak in the vibe even more.

I feel like the past few years has become the renewed era of the speakeasy. George Bang Bang offers an Asian craft cocktail experience that is perfect for date night. Compared to its competitors, the entrance for the bar is actually pretty discreet. Behind the bustle of a noodle shop &kitchen , you enter a dimly lit bar that takes you back to another era. They truly kept the aesthetic of prohibition with a lot of detail- from the cocktail glasses, to the furniture and the wallpaper. Hard to describe, you just have to see it to really enjoy it! As others have said, a reservation is ideal. However, late on a holiday weekend night the 2 of us were lucky to snag a seat at the bar right away. I actually recommend sitting at the bar because it's quite fascinating to see the bartenders at work! They have an extensive list of their own craft cocktails, but are also happy to make the classics. I loved how they served my dirty martini with the brine on the side, so I could adjust the level of filth lol. Overall a really unique date Will be back!

My friend grabbed a Friday evening reservation a few days beforehand as something to check out before dinner. We're glad he did since there was quite the line after we left. Aesthetics-wise this place has a cool vibe as you emerge into a darkly lit room after entering through a Korean restaurant. Service was friendly and they were able to answer any questions we had. Drinks on the other hand fell a bit flat for us. None of us 3 enjoyed our cocktails, so we ended up leaving after one round to go check out another place. Snacks here were delicious though!

A reservation for this speakeasy is a must, unless you don't mind waiting 30 minutes outside after you put yourself on the waitlist. This speakeasy is hidden in Okdongsik, which you access by walking to the back of the room to open a hidden door. I tried their Cafe de GBB ($23), which is their take on an espresso martini. I recommend if you like this kind of cocktail. I also tried their Juliet of the Spirits ($23), which I wasn't too fond of the taste, but was interesting to try. Overall, it was a cool thing to experience, but it's rather crammed in a particularly small space, which I wasn't really fond of. Waiting for your seat is also a hassle as there's not really a time limit. I did appreciate the craftsmanship of the cocktails being made by the bartenders as I was lucky enough to be seated at the bar.

George Bang Bang is a great cocktail bar to take guests. It's an experience from the beginning since the door to the bar is in the back of an actual restaurant. The interior is very speakeasy vibes if that makes sense. It's kind of classy and they play classical music inside. Very dark and well-themed but a little crowded inside. This was my third time visiting and I got the Harry & Sally, which I thought was good but could have been stronger. We also shared the shumai, which was surprisingly unique as they added wasabi or something to it which gave a nice kick. ~17 for mocktail and ~21 per drink

One of my favorite speakeasy cocktail bars in the city! It's hidden behind Okdongsik, which is extra cool when the restaurant is already closed so it feels very secretive and hidden. We attempted to come here twice, but so glad we finally made it after waiting 30 minutes in line. Unfortunately, the waiting area is an incredibly tight space that should only fit about 4 people, but we had twice that number. If you can make reservations, definitely do so or come during a week night when it's less busy. We were seated at the bar, which had a nice view of all the liquor. The menu also has a nice, old notebook feel on linen paper. We ended up trying multiple cocktails: Don "Michael" Corleone ($22), Little Miss Sunshine ($22), Seed ($22), Harry & Sally ($23), Notting Hill ($22), and Hocus Pocus ($21). It's not often when almost everything on the menu appealed to me. All of the drinks were delicious with no disappointment at all. I really enjoyed the seed, which came in a clear, glass tea cup to fit the vibe. Hocus pocus and notting hill were also ones I'd definitely get again. I really enjoyed how they can make a dark liquor so light and refreshing at the same time. This is the perfect date night spot (and we also saw many people on their first dates here too). It has a sexy and intimate vibe with some of the best drinks in town.

This place is very packed = need reservation. The spot is giving speakeasy vibes: dark interior, dim lighting and small candles. The space is a little cramp and slightly warm/damp. They did not have many mocktails options. 1. Melena (virgin): refreshing 2. Notting hill: alcoholic, very floral, good. Had a great time and would definitely come back again.

We were greeted right away when we entered through the door in Okdongsik. The hostess was attentive and very friendly. We had a decently large group and it's a fairly small place but they were accommodating. The space is quite dark and intimate. I would say it's better to go for a date or with 2-3 friends max. The decor is really pretty and the drinks were delicious. We each got a different one to try and they were all good so I don't think you can go wrong with any of the cocktails. I would say it's a pretty extensive menu as well so there should be something for everyone. Would definitely go back again!

It's rare that every cocktail I order is a winner, but this lineup delivered. Kicked things off with the newly added Dos Fridas--perfection in a glass--followed by the Notting Hill, a tea-infused gin cocktail that was chef's kiss. Wrapped it up with a hot Winter Sonata, because balance. But the real plot twist? The shumai with a wasabi aftertaste--an unexpected hit, even for someone who usually swipes left on wasabi.

Speakeasy behind Okdongsik! I love the vibes and ambiance here. It's very cozy and nice. The servers were also constantly filling our waters. BUT THE HIGHLIGHT were the drinks!! They're so well crafted. I got the Notting Hill which was my favorite! My friend got the Harry meets Sally and we typically don't like whiskey but this was VERY yummy~! kind of like strawberry yogurt.

One of the charm points of a speakeasy is its secrecy, so I hope this place remains under the radar to avoid long waits. As mentioned, if reservations or wait times become necessary, it might lose its speakeasy allure. I hope this hidden gem continues to maintain its exclusive charm.

Cool speakeasy in Nomad behind a small Korean soup and dumpling spot that we stumbled upon and were lucky enough to get seated at 8pm on a Saturday. As most speakeasies in NY go, George Bang Bang is not cheap. Each drink has a whopping $22 price tag, but the ambiance and the flavor combinations of the drinks make this spot worth your while. We got 2 of their popular cocktails and did not leave disappointed: - Don "Michael" Corleone: bourbon based drink with a smoky and maple syrup based smell and flavor. This drink is served with a homemade dark chocolate with bacon bits, which you are supposed to take a bite of at each sip. For whiskey lovers, who especially favor cocktails like the Manhattan, this is a great option. It is one of their stronger drinks. - Notting Hill: gin based fruity drink, which barely tastes like there's any alcohol in it. This one is perfect for those looking for something sweet and less powerful. I loved the passionfruit and mango yogurt flavor and could not fathom how this drink was so clear despite all its ingredients. That's some mixology magic. Service is quite quick. Our server came to refill our waters at lightning speed multiple times and was quite attentive. Perks (and downsides) of being in a small spot: you either get more drinks fast or you pave the way for the next customer. 4.5 / 5

I came across George Bang Bang on my way to the restroom while eating at Okdongsik. A completely different vibe from okdongsik, while separated by just a single door. Came after dinner nearby on a weekday, and there were plenty of seats. Servers were patient and helpful in explaining some of their signature cocktails to us. I ordered Seed and my friend ordered Notting Hill. Both were clarified milk cocktails, and had the most delicious creamy texture, while still looking beautifully clear. I think the Notting Hill would easily be a hit for most people. The Seed was a bit more earthy and Herbal, and hit pretty close to what I wanted. While I don't absolutely love the decor, I did like the vibes, atmosphere, and cocktails they've crafted. I'd still come back with friends!

honestly really confusing entrance but great ambience for a bar! i dont plan to come back but great place to take first timers who like to drink expensive drinks. I got the 500 days of summer and although i love pisco this wasnt the best way to enjoy it.

I loved this bar. The service was fantastic and the servers were so attentive. The overall space and atmosphere were very speakeasy vibes - only negative thing I have to say is that it is really dark in there so we had to use our phone screens to light up the menu. The Chloe: 5/5 great light drink, don't taste the alcohol too much Little Miss Sunshine: 4/5 it was unique and pleasant to have but once you get to the very bottom it was a bit bitter

HAND Hospitality's speakeasy (located inside of Olle) is a great option in the area if you want a bar where you can enjoy good cocktails and hear yourself think. My boyfriend and I walked in at around 7 PM on a Friday night and got seats. We tried the 500 days of summer, Seed, Emma's wife, Hocus pocus, Cafe de gbb, and Don Michael Corleone. The Emma's wife was the highlight, but most everything was tasty and interesting. The bar has a great vibe - reminded me of Bathtub Gin back in the day, before it jumped the shark.

George Bang Bang is located in the back of a restaurant in K-Town. It was dark inside, giving vampire-esque and dark academia vibes. They had a huge drink menu. I ordered the Malena and it was so yummy! However I wonder if that's because the alcohol content wasn't super high as I don't think it hit as much as cocktails usually do for me. But overall I enjoyed my time here!

4.5 star ambiance, 3 star drinks. George Bang Bang is a neatly situated speakeasy behind the fantastic restaurant Okdongsik. The interior is nice and dimly lit, with tall ceilings and plenty of space. It has a vintage feel with its red cloth backgrounds and carpeted floors. The servers were very friendly and probably the best water-fillers I've ever encountered. One nit is that they were too quick to take away finished drinks. This made it seem pushy, as every time this happened they ask the individual if they would like to order another drink. I wasn't a fan of the cocktails, but perhaps we didn't order the right ones. The 500 days of summer was overly sweet and I personally didn't like the seemlingly random ingredients (smells like thyme, tastes like fruity syrup mixed with truffle). The other 4 drinks my friends had were artificially sweet as well.

Superb ambiance, but the drinks were not very well balanced and tended to be too sweet. Still strongly recommend for a post-dinner drink--but reservations are essential!

If you like spirit forward drinks, here are my faves: 1. Old boy (for those mezcal lovers out there- probably the one that packs the most punch out of these all) 2. Don Michael Corleone (their most unique signature drink that features bourbon, rosemary smoke, and dark chocolate (this was the most unexpected ingredient, and it pairs so well with the drink) 3. Double O Seven: hands down the best martini variation I've ever had (vodka + no3 London dry gin + cocchi americano Rosa + sherry + tomorind + olive oil) 4. Seed (not very spirit forward, but love the Asian flavors). The Korean red ginseng, roasted rice, ginger really peak through) Ambiance: 10/10 (dim lighting, perfect for a date spot) Definitely one of my fave bars (and this is saying a lot since I am picky when it comes to my drinks), but this place definitely nailed it

I was eating at Okdongsik and went to the bathroom not knowing George Bang Bang was in the back! Ambiance is so nice with a vintage feel. I got the Chloe and liked it a lot. My other friends got drinks with egg whites foam and clarified milk, and we all liked our drinks a lot! With no reservation, I waited maybe 15 minutes total on a Friday night around 9. I would come back!

Walked in with a friend around 9 pm (after eating at Okdongsik), and we were able to be seated at the bar! We were told there was a reservation in about 45 minutes, but that was plenty of time. I got the Emma's Wife, which was delicious. The ambiance was great, and while it was a little on the louder side, it was a nice spot to catch up or go on a date.

Really cool cocktail bar, unique cocktails, prices are around $22 per, it's not huge inside so you can expect a little wait whenever you go.

Met a friend I. midtown and we needed a cool bar so enter GBB. The venue is totally low key and you actually need to walk through the resy to enter the hidden speakeasy . Upon entering, the place is really cool with dimly lit decor and Asian influences of slight . The cocktails are truly crafted and the bartenders are very helpful in determining your tastes . I cannot recall the names of our cocktails but they were truly stellar !! I will certainly be back to this cool spot !!

We were visiting some friends in Connecticut who wanted a night out in Manhattan. We came here on a Wednesday night around midnight. There was a wait time of about 10-15 min until a table was available. I loved the low light, gave a very romantic vibe. Being in Manhattan I course felt the need to order a Manhattan ($20) lol. It was the perfect! The hubby ordered the old fashioned ($20) and he enjoyed his drink as well. Our friends enjoyed their drinks as well although I don't remember what they ordered. We only had one drink each and just talked a little after. Our waiter was friendly and we got our drinks within 5-10 min of ordering which wasn't a bad wait at all.

Hidden in the popular Korean soup restaurant, Okdongsik, is a speakeasy! @gbbnewyork is already one of my favorites in the city now! The vibes were amazing, bartenders really nice, drinks delicious, and most importantly we could be comfortably seated in a clean and pretty space and chat without having to yell over music. Definitely going back!

Really loved this speakeasy that's a hidden gem in the Koreatown area. This one is in the back of a tiny sushi joint. We went right when they opened on a Saturday evening and got lucky enlightened to snah two seats at the bar. Really loved the service from our Bartender as he took the time to describe drinks and offer advice when I was conflicted between a couple choices. Really enjoyed the snacks as well but the drinks are a highlight. The ambiance is great as well! Would highly recommend checking it out if you are in the area!

I've tried about 4-5 different drinks here already and have loved every single one!! One of my top favorites speakeasy places in new york now. The ambience is incredible, service exceeds all expectations, and drinks are probably the best cocktails I've ever had! Extremely unique, not overpowering, but very flavorful drinks! I recommend coming here early in the night and with a small group since the space is extremely small!

Great cocktail bar in the back of a restaurant! Make sure to get a reservation since the walk ins had to wait a while. It's cozy with bar seating and maybe 15 tables/couches. Drinks are pricey($20+) but delicious! Great service as well and the bathroom was large and super clean. Definitely a cute date night spot, probably best for a 2nd or 3rd date!

GBB is such a lovely little speakeasy! While it is definitely on the smaller size, the seating area is maximized in both arrangement and decor. It has a old-timey vibe with music and polite servers to make the bar give a classy. I love a good espresso martini, and their Cafe de GBB is indeed a smooth one. My favorite of the night was definitely the Seed! It was citrus-y and bright and was very easy on the palate, great for seasoned and new drinkers. Everything is served in transparent glasses, which really allows you to appreciate the color of the cocktails against the candle light. The ambiance is great to wrap up a romantic date or have an intimate environment to catch up eith a friend. Seating is extremely limited though, so I highly suggest you make a reservation in advance, or else you might be waiting for a while for the bar to open up. Most seating allowing for 2 guests, but there are 2-3 areas for 4 person groups. It's also a very easy speakeasy to find, right in the back of Okdongsik.

This is a really cool spot. It's definitely worth checking out especially if you happen to be eating at the Okdongsik restaurant connected to it, which is how I stumbled upon GBB. GBB is located inside Okdongsik in the very back. We came on a Thursday night, so it was a bit busy with a line to wait. I think we got seated after about 30 minutes, which honestly wasn't the worst. They don't take names and numbers; so you'll just have to wait by the entrance, which can get a bit tight. They do take reservations though, and I'll keep that in mind for my next planned visit. We were seated right by the bar. It was fully packed that evening, but tables are evenly spaced out. The noise level is on the louder side, but it wasn't difficult to converse here. Some drinks I tried that evening include the Old Boy, Don Michael Corleone, and The Most Beautiful Moment In Life. I absolutely loved Old Boy and the Corleone drink. Both had the right amount of smokiness, which I love, and neither were sweet. I really liked all drinks overall, and also tried some of my partner's drinks which were very tasty as well. Everything is well crafted and beautifully presented, which I highly appreciate. The vibes here are really cool. This place is great for date night. It's dimly lit, has plenty of seating at both the bar and tables. Our servers were very attentive throughout the night, refilling our waters and checking in on us once our cocktail glasses were empty. Overall a very cool spot to check out if you're in and around the area or if you happen to be at Okdongsik, it's worth peeking your head in.

super unique drinks at this speakeasy! Vibes were nice inside & was super popular on a saturday night :) was able to walk in and get seated quickly around 9:30 but would still recommend making a reservation as the place got busier later in the night.

Hands down one of the most amazing signatures in the NYC. It recently became a hype. However, it is known for its signature and sadly I am a classical kind of guy. Therefore, I was not really into it. However, it changed my mind after I tried. Perfectly balanced, interesting flavor, easy for non-regular drinkers. Nothing Hill: creamy "flavor" from the yogurt and milk clarified process go extremely well with the mango. Highly recommended. Little Miss Sunshine: Bee's knee(the classic) with extra bee pollen buildup extra layer. Also recommended. The place was crowded, reservations recommended. Don't expect any private dating experience, have fun, talk loud there. Friendly and professional mixology.

Discovered this spot due to a recommendation from Osamil. We got here and they had a spot for 3 people. Emma's Wife & Malena were tasty. It's on the sweet side, but not overly sweet. The alcohol was weak though. The ambiance and the service was good overall. They have only one restroom and the music in the back side of the bar is loud. I am glad we sat close to the doorway.

As speakeasies in Manhattan go, this was middle of the row good. The atmosphere is as expected -- dark and cozy located behind a Korean counter space only eatery, Okdongsik. Great for conversations and to get out of the cold. We got lucky and were seated with minimal wait without reservations on a Thursday night. I'll take it! Hostess was a doll. I also appreciated the TLC and efficiency of the bartender (mixologist?) who made our drinks .... Much respect. Gin heavy menu for you gin lovers! Since I'm not a fan, I went vodka based. Unfortunately, my drinks fell flat for me -- beautiful presentation, but missed the mark and felt lacking... like I was drinking a $21 glass of dressed up juice. Perhaps I chose wrong or maybe I just prefer simplicity. I should have stuck with an old fashioned. Snacks aren't worth writing about, you're at a speakeasy. Drinks are what it's about. My drinks didn't work for me, but my friend loved it - maybe it will for you. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend trying it for yourself!

Good speakeasy vibe, especially the cursed old-ballroom music in the bathroom (Everywhere at the End of Time fans wya). The drinks were good, but not stellar level. Felt that the drinks here, in retrospect after going to Angel's share a few months later, are on the same level as Angel's share, and honestly felt sort of similar... Nothing is too crazy, nothing is too intense. Everything is just...good. I guess it can be cool coming here but I don't really have a strong reason to come back.

Secret speakeasy in the back of a 6 time Michelin Bib Gourmand listed Seoul-based restaurant! Loved this cute little hidden gem. Amazing service. The waiters were all so prompt, polite, professional, and very well dressed. It was pretty dark inside tho -- we had a very difficult time trying to read the menu. The drinks we got: The Chloe, Emma's Wife, and Malena. All were great, but our favorite was The Chloe!

Located in the back room of OkDongSik, this speakeasy-esque bar offers well crafted, artisanal asian-inspired cocktails. We walked in on a Tuesday night and were seated almost immediately. Take note, this established has a one drink per person minimum. After a few moments of deliberation, I chose "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life" and it was a solid choice. Sweet, creamy, and tart - the cream cheese topper was a great add that smoothed over the strong hit of alcohol. Music was on the louder side but the establishment is moody and a good spot to go for post-dinner drinks, date, or a chill evening.

Arguably the best speakeasy in Manhattan. This was my second time back (made a reservation) and we loved the ambiance and drinks. They had a vast range of cocktails, from milk punches to flips and classic drinks. The Notting Hill was silky and herbaceous and the Corleone was a smooth old fashioned accompanied by some dark chocolate. We also got their honey butter chips to share! Service was great, and they checked in often.

A speakeasy inside okdongsik, the Korean noodles place. This bar is small, dark and intimate but not entirely romantic like Raines. There are couches if you want romance to happen tho ;) Slightly louder but not overpowering - upbeat and good vibes for convos. Appropriate for all dates imo - maybe slightly risky for a first date bc there is limited across-the-table seating. I got Emma's Wife and The Chloe. Both good and tart; I liked Chloe better than Emma's Wife. I would say both drinks were a bit sweeter than I typically prefer. Interesting ingredients. 4 star for the drinks.

Wow, can I just say this was one of those special randomly stumbled upon cocktail bars where I didn't know what to expect. Secretly tucked behind this small noodle shop, I was almost unable to find it. Given I came in on Friday night at 10:30, I had low expectations of even being sat. Upon entering, the ambiance was exactly the vibe I wanted and the host was extremely kind and helpful. She was able to seat me promptly at the bar as a solo guest. Me being shy and not so outgoing, I was instantly welcomed by a regular couple and the bartender Ryan. Can I just emphasize how special this experience was for me. They made this one of the best bar/speakeasy experiences of my life. Ryan (the bartender) asked me my preferences and the drinks were all 10/10. I would travel far and wide to have this experience again. That being said, I will be back!

george bang bang is a speakeasy type bar located in the back of okdongsik, a michelin recommended restaurant. the cocktail selection was so good and all very drinkable for someone who doesn't like alcohol forward drinks. we usually only get one drink each when trying out new bars but this place was so good that we had to try another one at the end. there is a great amount of seating inside with bar seating and more intimate sections. we coincidently came on their 1 year anniversary so they gave us some cookies to go. the most beautiful moment in life: this is a contender for one of my favorite cocktails i've ever had. i loved the cream cheese topping and it felt like a nice dessert drink. the chloe: super dainty to drink, i really liked the clarified milk. it tasted like a thinner and less sweet version of condensed milk malena: very refreshing, perfect to end the night with! this has been my favorite bar experience in my time in the city and i will most definitely be coming back. congrats on your 1 year, GBB!

Cute hidden bar in the back. A bit dark and cozy, but exclusive, good drinks, and quiet. Little gem for the city visitors.

Such a hidden and fun speakeasy! Located in the back of okdongsik (I literally thought this was the kitchen when I came here to eat), this speakeasy has the MOST DELICIOUS cocktails and great ambiance. Came here at 10:30 on a Friday night and only waited about 15 minutes to be seated. -Most beautiful moment in life (5/5): wow this cocktail was so delicious. the cream cheese foam made the sweet cocktail have a slightly salty kick that suited the flavor profile surprisingly well. Kind of tasted like the cream cheese foam topping boba drinks. -Chloe (5/5): literally tasted like juice. Perfect execution -Emma's Wife (5/5): so light and refreshing, more of a green juice profile from the beets

The drinks at this speakeasy bar, located inside of Okdongsik, have a sweeter taste and the ambiance is extremely dark. This retro-style bar has a small area, but it's a great spot to spend some time if you're in the vicinity. The intimate atmosphere and delicious drinks make it a hidden gem worth discovering.

Don't really like cocktails normally but the ones here are well balanced and not too strong in any direction, flavor wise!

TLDR: A quality and bonafide speakeasy right outside K-Town. GBB is a great place to grab cocktails if you're in the area. The Most Beautiful Moment in Life - get it. Like many, we stumbled into here after dining at Okdongsik and wondering what was behind this random dark door. Very much a prohibition era vibe between the music and the furniture. If you're coming after hours, the only indication it exists is the random card taped onto the front door. What I do like about GBB is it really embodies the idea of "If you know, you know" through and through. It's small and I personally prefer to sit at the bar, the seats are comfy but it is dark AF in there. They have a few drinking snacks, house-made beef jerky but my favorite is the choco popcorn. I hate chocolate popcorn but this one is really good. For the cocktails, really well-executed, wonderful presentation and most importantly; tasty. My favorites are probably the Most Beautiful Moment in Life and Emma's Wife. Crisp, refreshing and memorably good. The barkeep, Alex is super friendly and knowledgeable. There have been few cocktail bars I really enjoy recently - GBB is one of them on a short list.
