Exceeded all of my expectations! My husband chose this charming spot for our anniversary dinner, and it turned out to be even more delightful than I could have imagined. The night was serene, with snow gently falling, creating a quiet, intimate atmosphere. For the first part of our meal, we had the entire lower level to ourselves, which made the evening feel even more special. Our server was an absolute gem—such a beautiful soul! I told my husband that I wished she lived next door to us. Her warmth and kindness shone through, and she was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making our experience even more memorable. The drinks were impeccable, and the dinner was beyond perfection. I had the veal, and it was simply divine—scrumptious, tender, and cooked to perfection. It was clear that every dish was crafted with care and attention to detail. My husband truly couldn’t have picked a more charming, cozy spot for such a special occasion. As an added bonus, they offer valet service, which made the whole experience even more convenient. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Food was amazing, and Tina was delightful. We were gifted our dinner by Ross Taylor, and what a gift it was! The lobster bisque was delightfully smooth and flavorful, and the steaks were tender and seasoned perfectly. We look forward to coming back!

Made a reservation for 8:30. Showed up at the door at 8:22. The door was locked, restaurant closed. As we walked up we saw the remaining two employees walk out the door, neither of them said a word as we were approaching. No head’s up that they were blowing off our reservation. If you are going to close early, don’t take reservations and then ignore them. We drove into town for this after a very long day. A courtesy call is the least they could have done for us. Rude. Update: Georgio’s called my husband and apologized for closing early. It seems there is a problem with OpenTable accepting reservations even when they aren’t supposed to. They invited us back for a meal to make things right. We came in for lunch a few days later. The hostess was kind and lovely and the server, Tina was truly great. She was warm and attentive. She brought the dinner menu out for us. The food was very good, I had the house made fettuccine and it was just right, perfect al dente. My husband’s halibut was perfectly cooked. I do recommend coming here with the advice that maybe you should make reservations the old fashioned way, over the phone. And it wouldn’t hurt to call and check if they are open if you are coming late in the evening. Toledo seems to be a quiet little city with enough customer ebb and flow that early closing is a possibility sometimes. The staff at Gorgio’s is welcoming and they will take care of you!

If you know me, then you know I'm an avid food-aholic and I try and give props to places that are just amazing! Tonight's date night dinner was at Georgios which, if you're not familiar with the city, is a hidden gem. A family owned and run restaurant with a long running history, this place hit all the feels. Great classy intimate atmosphere without feeling stiff or stuffy, phenomenal food selection and preparation thanks to their talented chef and kitchen staff, and the service is above and beyond. Did I mention the valet parking as well? I mean... seriously! All the qualities of fine dining with a reputable reputation without high city prices. Don't get me wrong, don't expect to pay $20 for a plate! But be aware that you're getting a quality sumptuous dinner that's worth the price tag associated with it. I had the specialty trout topped with lump crab and he had the grass fed veal chop. Would definitely recommend giving this lovely place a try and we will most certainly be repeat patrons ❤️

We recently held a memorial and celebration of life luncheon for my mother at Georgio's. We did a private lunch on Sunday and it was wonderful. The staff were all so warm and welcoming and compassionate and the food was wonderful, it really was delicious. They allowed us to bring in photos and flowers to honor my mom and were so helpful throughout the afternoon. My grandfather worked downtown years ago and always talked about what a great place Georgio's was, so that made it even more special for me, I was able to honor both of them. We couldn't have picked a better place and I am so grateful to everyone at Georgio's who helped to make that day go smoothly. Highly recommend. Thank you owners and staff!

CAROL was our server. She was very tidy with everything and spot on. Carol recommended some great choices for dinner and drinks. She was friendly and efficient. I appreciate everyone there. Mama did exceptional on the grape leaves!! The STEAK along with the Chicken&Shrimp were excellent! Best taste! So much flavor!! This place was absolutely beautiful. Lighting was perfect. Mood was perfect. We were thrilled to have chosen this place to dine for the first time. THANK YOU! We will be back!!

Went with my husband on a date and it was amazing! The server we had was the sweetest lady. The menu is smaller but definitely worth it. I had the lamb and it just melted in my mouth. Cheesecake for dessert and it was so creamy! I definitely would come here again. However, it is very pricey (worth it) but keep it in mind before coming here.

Google
Very friendly and kind staff. Veal picatta was fantastic and the NY strip was quite good as well. Cheesecake was a bit dry, but still not bad. Lobster bisque was some of the best I've ever had. Despite being very good food, I still feel it is overpriced. It's the only reason I didn't give 4 stars. If I'm going to spend $200 on dinner it should be better than very good. If main dishes were priced perhaps 20% less then I would give it a 5. Beyond that, no complaints at all. Nice, quaint restaurant!

Yelp
First time visitors to Georgios, we went as three couples before a show next door at the Valentine. The restaurant doesn't advertise as being open until 5:30 on Saturdays, except that they were, because we got 5 pm reservations! This was plenty of time to enjoy a nice dinner. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful with lots of twinkling lights. We were seated right away at a corner table and quickly served water and bread with the liver pate (delicious in my opinion, but some of our group did not appreciate the gaminess of the flavor.) No matter - we had several lovely options to select from the specials and printed menu. We didn't know Georgios was primarily a seafood restaurant and it did not disappoint! Three of our group tried the scallops which was epic -so well cooked, along with delicious veggies and potatoes. We didn't have room for dessert, but the cheesecake offerings sounded wonderful. Joe, who took our orders, didn't write anything down, but got each meal to us correctly. We would definitely enjoy going again for another special occasion, but be warned, it's pricey. For two people with no drinks, our tab came to $92.

Yelp
I went here for a solo dinner to try and have a nice meal and relax. I sat at the bar and ordered an island breeze cocktail- quick delicious. Because I read about the family's history and their Cyprus heritage I had to order some grape leaves so I could remember how they tasted back on the Greek island of Kos. I reviewed the menu for quite sometime but couldn't make up my mind. When the very nice bartender came to take my order, she told me the specials and then I had made my decision. The seafood of the day was what I was going with. The flavors, the way they prepare it and everything about it was delicious.

Yelp
We had a great dinner. The service was great and the food was excellent! A nice clean and welcoming restaurant inside. I tried the blackened swordfish and it was perfect. We also had salmon and the veal chop at our table and everything was delicious.

Yelp
My husband made a reservation on a Saturday night. I should have known what to expect when there were less than 10 other tables occupied. We were greeted by nice people, but the experience was mediocre at best. We waited a while before anyone came to take our drink order. The bread is tasteless and served cold. We ordered mushrooms as an app and they should be embarrassed to serve the slivers of mushrooms with what tastes like jarred gravy poured over them. I ordered a steak medium rare. It came out rare and it was chewy and so boring. My husband ordered the filets medium and they came out well done. The vegetables were one small potato and a random mix of things smothered in grease. Im sure some people love this place, but it was not good at all and very expensive for what they offered. Will pass in the future.

Yelp
Can't believe it was my first visit after 30 years in business. Small and intimate with great service. A family owned business that takes great care with the details. They have numerous dinner entree specials in limited quantity as well as a regular dinner menu to choose from. Bread is served with butter and a delicious pate. We had the NY Strip and the Ossobuco. They steak was cooked perfectly; so tender and flavorful. The Ossobuco was out of this world amazing; tender, delicious and yet somehow light served with the most delicious vegetable medley. This place is a step back in time when service and care was top priority. Treat yourself; I'd recommend reservations as it's quite intimate the place fills up quickly.

Yelp
I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and servers are kind and professional. I enjoy the decor and the relaxing fine dining experience. This is my favorite restaurant.

Yelp
Went with 2 other couples. Service was prompt and very good. Cocktails and wine were served promptly and good, maybe drink list should be updated to include mentioning that a full bar is available. Appetizers were okay, escargot did not taste fresh. Salads were okay, not the best as we were told. Main courses disappointed us, most notably the veal and salmon. Consider updating the vegetable medley to include more asparagus and some broccolini, leave the green pepper for the salads. We have always heard great things. Did not meet our expectations.

Yelp
My wife and I just visited this absolute gem of a restaurant for our anniversary. It is our second time there. The ambiance is low key and warmly welcoming. No pretension or hubris. Our server, Tina, was friendly as if she's known us for years yet completely professional as well. She was knowledgable about the wines and foods. The food was absolutely amazing! The lobster bisque was buttery and flavorful with just the perfect amount of "kick". We requested an item not on the menu for our main course (Beef Wellington) and the chef graciously obliged. It was tender, savory and delicious. The flavor and texture was out of this world. Finished the meal with a strawberry topped creme brulee. While the food, service, and facility is in my opinion top tier, the price is not. Price is very very reasonable for the quality and amount of food as well as the fantastic service.

Yelp
The place is a little dated but the food is absolutely delicious. The menu changes monthly and the selections are good. When you want a great meal this is the place.

Yelp
We actually lived a few blocks away for a while. Used to go more often back then, then we do know. It was nice to return and enjoy ourselves.

Yelp
Came here for my anniversary with my husband trying to try news spots in downtown Toledo. When we arrived, it was odd because you come in through a back door and there's no hostess stand, they just wave you back. It's VERY small & quiet. Mirrors all along the wall to which makes it feel smaller. Never once did they recognize our anniversary, which I included on our reservation. They served us some kind of beef and duck liver paté with our bread? So off putting it was like cold cat food. I order their salmon which was a special that night, they brought it out still raw in the middle, cold to the touch (mind you this is suppose to be a seafood restaurant with the "freshest" fish). Had them re-make it, they bring it out and I'm not shitting you it was the same plate they just took back, just heated up w more sauce on it (mind you again this place is suppose to have the "freshest" fish and they charge you market price for the catch of the day). At that point I'm just pissed and just have them take it off the bill and didn't end up eating dinner that night. My husband was already done with his food at this point so really didn't want to have to wait for a third plate. Manager walked around and checked on every table besides ours. Horrible experience, do not go here - they're fraud & clearly don't care about quality.

Yelp
Amazing fine dining experience with the best fresh seafood selection in the area. Everything is presented well and seasoned perfectly. Cozy, upscale family owned atmosphere. Please leave the jeans a caps at home and dress up.

Yelp
On a very sad day for me, I went to Georgios during their change over time and the beautiful ladies let me come in (while there was no one there) and basically have a private early dinner. These ladies were courteous and accommodating, and really nice. They suggested the salmon with veggies and red skin potatoes, and I have to say that it was delicious! I wrote them a note letting them know they made my day, one of the ladies came and gave me a hug. I will recommend that everyone visits Geogios international cafe for your fine dining needs!

Yelp
A classy little hole in the wall with excellent atmosphere and service. The menu and food are classicly prepared and every time I visit I'm reminded how expensive it is. With the theater next door, they have a bit of a captive audience but I wonder if they'd be able to charge the prices they charge if they were in another location.

Yelp
Best food in the 419! Amazing service and the staff is super nice! The inside is classic. Shows great Ambiance.

Yelp
Had a business lunch today and was impressed. I ordered the Oso buco and it was tender and delicious! Started with a spicy chicken gumbo which had a nice kick. My mates had monk fish and chicken fetticini. The server was well versed and funny and was attentive. Overall great experience and I would return next time i am in Toledo!

Yelp
Toledo's BEST HIDDEN GEM I have been going to Georgios for over 20 years now. Time and time and time again they NEVER cease to disappoint me. Forget ANYTHING across the river, you must go here. Freshest seafood I have ever had across the country!! The Octopus salad? You will never find another as delicious as this. (If they only sold it by the pound, I would eat it daily!) Thank you, Georgios for 1st class food and service always!! You are my favorite!

Yelp
As as new Toledo resident and after Pandemic shutdown, I had been dining out with my supper club looking for Fine Dining in Toledo since restaurants opened back up mid last year. We dine twice a week at $25 -35 dinner restaurants. We had been talking about this place, but hesitant due to cost per plate were $40+. But I had a chance to have lunch yesterday. And though I hardly ever get on line with all this reviews/opinions on line about what people do, I was compelled to spend couple minutes to share to let the readers know who may consider going to this place. Especially based on the online reviews.... I was expecting GRAND dining experience based on WEB reviews and pictures, menu and pictures I had seen. I was thoroughly surprised when I stepped in. The greeting was weird, first question was if I had reservation, I said no. After the greeter said OK, walking me thru the restaurant, the place was empty. Two of us were in a shock after we sat down.... both of us were looking forward to this "FANCY" restaurant experience based on their advertising and the online menu... looking around, I felt out of place, the atmosphere was by far less than elegant, less than Applebees...place was very small, and was greeted by two people talking very loudly few feet away, only to find out it was the employees working on orders/specials. She ordered Greek Salad with Chicken, I ordered Lamb Shank. After long, terrible conversations about when it was cooked, what the price was for the specials.... had to hear her yelling across the restaurant to find out what the prices of the specials were..... it was quite unexpected from one of the highest priced restaurants in Toledo... with multiple "good" reviews... While waiting for food, I as busy wiping the water spots off the silverware, being very uncomfortable with next table when they were only 2 feet from me. I did't think the 6 feet rule was lifted yet. The Gumbo soup was seasoned mildly, as the waitress kept saying it was too hot too eat??!! The Lobster Bisque was rather bland and chunky, there was no taste of Lobster base. It would get less rating than a can of Campbells tomato soup on a nice day. I went to restroom to wash my hand before food, found the place was very dirty. The bathroom looked so dirty and yellow/dingy, appeared it had not been cleaned in a very long time. The whites in porcelain, well, they were not white. Looking at their bathroom, I can only image their standard is for kitchen cleaning... When the food finally showed up, it looked great! The great salad look great, as the lamb shank. When tasted, the salad was very bland, dressing tasted like oil, nothing else.... the lamb shank was cook nice and tender, seasoning was tasty, Green beans were cold, rice was bland. Thru this whole experience was topped by the truck stop quality staff, I'd be discouraged just to look or walk into a place with the choice of staff working there. Since I am new to the place, I had been keeping open mind to try new and difference places. I was thoroughly disappointed with this restaurant, and was very mis-informed, lied by the online reviews. Though they are merely opinions of few decided to write a line or two, clearly did not represent the facts of the establishment. Most of all, I am glad I went there for lunch, I will definitely not be joining there with my Dinner Club. It was good to walk out of there disappointed with $50 lunch tab than $500 dinner tab we have weekly. For what it's worth....the reviews online is not what you will experience. Those are left to your own. This was mine. Ordered Greek Salad and the Lamb Shank, came with soup and bread.

Yelp
Always wanted to try Georgio's and I'm glad I did. Decor is a little dated but at this point it's part of the charm. Wait staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is very good. Desserts are homemade and to die for. Great fish specials and wine that is approachable and not crazy expensive. Will be going back soon and often.

Yelp
We had reservations for 8 people, 2 hours before the start of the show we were seeing next door at the Valentine. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were promptly seated. We explained to the server that we had tickets to the show next door. The server took drink orders from a couple of people who had ordered drinks while waiting at the bar, but did not bother to get drink orders from the rest of us. About 15 minutes after we ordered our food, the server returned and told a couple of people in our group that the seafood special they had ordered was no longer available. This was at 6:30 p.m. How do you run out of something like that so early in the evening on a weekend? Replacement orders were placed only to have the server return about 10 minutes later and say that the replacement items we're no longer available, as well. A few minutes later, the server came out and had everyone at the table restate their order. By this time, well over 30 minutes had passed since we placed our orders. Still no food. It was well over an hour from the time we originally ordered until we received our food. Meals came out one or two at a time, with several minutes delay in between each delivery. A steak that had been ordered medium was very rare. Lamb chops were over done. Veal was grisly. Given that we now had scant time before the start of our show, there was no time to receive corrected meals. The meals were comped for 3 of our diners. (In all fairness, I'm told the scallops were excellent.) I ordered the beef tournedos, which were decent but nothing to write home about. I only ate about half of my meal and asked to have the remainder boxed to take with me. As I paid my bill, I reminded the server that my food had been taken away to be boxed. It turns out that it had been thrown out. So, a 4th meal was comped as well. We barely made it to the show on time. This was the first time I visited Georgio's. Given their reputation and the price point, I expected better. Based on this experience, I will think twice before visiting again.

Yelp
Food not good and horrible customer service do not go there and the owner was rude will never go back are bill was 1,900 and we was treated like crap.

Yelp
Very good all around. Been going there for close to 20 years. Consistently very good food and attentive service. Clean. Nice atmoshpere. Very little staff turnover - always a good sign. A bit expensive for dinner, but its lunch prices are very reasonable. Also good for groups. We had a holiday luncheon there for work yesterday, as did apparently several other groups. All was good, and everything was well executed. Two overall drawbacks. First, the menu, as other reviewers have observed, is dated and limited. They definitely need to work on that. Second, there are pretty much no vegetarian options. To their credit, they'll work with you if you want to go that route. The vegetable fettuccini and side Greek salad, for instance, is a good choice. But they really need to get with the times and feature meatless options directly on their regular menu. This omission keeps Georgio's out of five-star territory.

Yelp
I enjoyed every moment! From service, the meal and dessert . Girlfriend and I were satisfied with the experience, especially with it being a small baecation for her birthday weekend. Recommended a few friends to check it out as well, when they visit Toledo. Thank you! We'll be back .

Yelp
Went in today and the bartender Lily was an absolute delight! I got the chicken lemon rice soup along with some bread which I couldn't put down. And finally they had a Cajun chicken Caesar that hit the spot and didn't leave me bloated! If 10 stars was a thing then they would get it! 10/5

Yelp
Steak is like butter. The people with me enjoyed the seafood as well. Very classy and upscale, only downside is price. Definitely good for a date night.

Yelp
Oh my goodness ! From the charming valet parking attendant and Natalie at the bar to Joe our amazing waiter, our dinner last evening at Georgio's was amazing! Natalie is not only an excellent bartender, my martini with Boursin stuffed olives was the best I have ever had anywhere , she is well versed on local history. When I ordered a glass of wine and then later decided I was more in the mood for a martini, she offered to keep my wine chilled until I was ready for it with my dinner. Be sure to start with the lobster bisque . It is smooth and lovely . We shared a cup so as not to spoil our appetites. My husband ordered the surf and turf : excellent! Filet was cooked perfectly and the lobster was tender and delicious. I think you can judge a restaurant by its Caesar salad, and let me tell you, Georgio's Was top notch. I ordered lump crab topped halibut. Delicious ! The food was beautifully presented and served piping hot. Oh and dessert! The house specialty was a white chocolate mousse cake with chocolate ganache. Light and delicate: Heaven! Run don't walk: treat yourself to gourmet dining and let yourself be pampered by the staff at Georgio's elegant cafe!

Yelp
I only eat here about once a year on special occasions. The first time the meal and service was spectacular. The second time it was just as perfect. The third and fourth time were once again awesome. So guess what I figured out, you can't go wrong with anything at georgios. I will be back more often. The owner brothers are very attentive and rake the time to walk the floor and greet everyone. You don't see that very often these days.

Yelp
By far the pillar of top notch eating for the city. It's practically besides the Valentine Theater. This place by far has the best escargot I've had (note I've yet been to France but have been to some highly esteemed NY places and it still holds out). This meal I'm describing was the Veal Piccata which was tenderly divine. It's filets with white wine, mushroom capers, in a lemon and garlic sauce. When it comes to pricing it's not the worst however too not the best if looking for a meal not so pricey. The dinner does include bread with their paté, Greek salad, potato and fresh vegetables presented extremelynicely. It's very intimate inside which sure although it's situated in an old building was deliberate design to set a certain mood.

Yelp
Definitely not one of my favorites experiences. In a nutshell, good food, not great. Very nice atmosphere. Poor service, but it was friendly. Finally a very tired menu. First on the menu - it basically hasn't changed since much in the last 20 years. Almost all meats. They have one "seafood of the day", which was actually a few selections, however on the night we visited, they were out of many. Atmosphere also has not changed much, but is very nice. Our biggest issue was the service. Our waitress seemed clueless on many things. Appetizers came out too staggered. Some of us were done for nearly 5 minutes, and they were clearing our plates before others even got theirs. The biggest problem I had, and the reason I will not be returning, is the pushiness of the server. We asked about dessert, and thought about getting one piece of cake to share amongst the group for a bite each. She said don't worry, I will take care of you. She brought out a nice selection, which we assumed was a sampling (we made it clear we did not want dessert), and we were charged for all of them. Left a very bad taste in our mouths. I had expected a little more as I did read all the rave reviews, however the fact that we were there on what should have been a very busy dinner night, and had only a handful of tables filled, I think told the story. It is obvious that their philosophy is they want to stick with what has always worked, and never change anything, however I feel changing with the times may be something they should consider.

Yelp
Dined at restaurant Tuesday June 25th 2019, ambience was acceptable. Ordered a dirty martini and had a very odd taste, server brought another drink and this was not acceptable. Server never asked if it was ok. Drinks were not good at all, food was terrible and service was minimal. Soup was ordered and never served. Overall experience was terrible considering we were the only two in the dining area.

Yelp
First, I hit "The John" which was clean and retro-modern. I was immediately attracted to the Dark Bar with a Brass Rail to rest my elbows. Lobster was the Soup Of the Day. It was rich and creamy with little pieces of tender Lobster. Succulent but the Bread was cold and tasteless. My Lasagna came out soon after and was decent as far as Lasagne goes. They were not shy about the shredded Parmesan Cheese. I washed everything down with a cold Labatt's BLue. Overall, it was a good experience. The Scenery looks solid and Romantic for the Lovers. I would recommend only bringing out warm bread. Not they have to but I've enjoyed many Spots with Hot Steaming bread with Olive Oil or Butter so it is hard to accept cold Bread. I'm doing Carrot Cake for dessert but I'll let my Son Judge that (he is a carrot cake connoisseur). I'll return for the soft shelled Crab that was highly recommended. Sold 80 dozen so far this Season. HaPpy Eating! God BLeSs

Yelp
Prices are steep, but the food & service we got on date night was amazing. If you go, our waitress Tina was great. Not only with helping us choose a great mean from their amazing specials but make sure things moved smoothly at our table. Definitely recommend & hope to return again.

Megan H.

Yelp
We were so excited to drive down and check this place out after reading the reviews. Unfortunately I would say the food was okay at best and definitely over priced. Nothing impressive at all. Server was kind, but over served the tables around us. One table was playing Ticktok videos at full volume throughout their entire meal. Kind of killed the date vibe we were going for. Will not go back.

So based on reviews that we had viewed our group decided to have dinner here. Was not impressed at all. 5 of us ordered steak and it had no flavor. When we asked for steak as have to give some flavor we were told they don't have any. I will say the guest that ordered the Halibut were happy with that selection. However for those of us whom are allergic to seafood there was not many choices on the menu that did not have seafood on the plate. Will not go back again Very over priced for poor quality food.

Yelp
It is a hole in the wall. It is likewise a hidden gem of deliciousness in downtown Toledo. The place is dated, and the bread yanky. However, the atmosphere is so romantic and so upscale. The food is solid like a blacksmiths anvil. The beef tips and stroganoff are AWESOME. The best is the SEAFOOD. Get the catch!! Get the special!! Never have been treated wrong at lunch or Dinner. So easy to grab a bite, have a glass of wine and ease over to the Valentine. So good! There weakness is they have no craft independent beer. Not everyone can be prefect. They sorta makeup for that in whiskey. ;^)

Yelp
One of the worst restaurants I've been to on my travels. They tout their bread as being homemade, but it tasted like sawdust. I literally could only eat one bite. The goat cheese appetizer had far too much salt, and was also nearly inedible. In comparison to the other courses the chicken fettucini was great, but compared to even a chain like the Olive Garden it was "meh." The dish did save them from a 1 star review. The decor was from the 60's along with most of the other patrons. I'm sure this was good in its day, but I felt like I walked into an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

Yelp
Love this place. I had my first taste of escargot here when I was 9. I had some of the most delicious marinated octopus of my life here. I hope it's still on the menu. The decor is pretty 80s-tastic, but the food is definitely worth it. And the service is great. You should definitely get down there for a delicious, sophisticated meal.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant that has both a French and Greek flare. George's specialty is seafood, but his steaks, chicken, and Greek dishes are truly delicious and amazing. The atmosphere is both friendly and romantic. I've had many large group parties there and the service is outstanding.

Yelp
This restaurant was wonderful! It is rare these days to have a perfect dining experience. The menu is diverse and intriguing. Everyone in our party loved their meals. My meal was so delicious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back when we are in town.

Yelp
I was invited to a rehearsal dinner held here on a Friday night. The place was mostly empty but they had arranged a nice private room for our party in the back of the restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was pretty good. The only complaint that I do have is that the air conditioner dripped onto myself and my food at the end of the dinner. We were in the midst of a heatwave, so the air conditioner had probably been running overtime for a few days prior. However, having air conditioning water drip on myself and my dinner was enough to put me off of my food!

Yelp
A romantic and old school fine dining establishment. My husband had the salmon and I had the fish with crab. Our server , who has been there for 20+ years was excellent. Hope to be back soon!

Yelp
Wow! Classic, family owned and operated fine dining. I am in Toledo with staff for meetings and we needed a special meal to bind our team. I checked Yelp, then asked locals upon arrival and only heard praise for Georgio's. They were correct. Excellent seafood, lamb, veal and great service. We even met and chatted with George. Humble, yet proud of his family's culinary history in this location. Not the fanciest or newest...certainly a cut above the chains and newer, overpriced restaurant formulas. Kudos and thank you for an excellent meal.

Yelp
Let me start my review by saying that I do not like Mediterranean food in the slightest, but I went to Georgio's for a work lunch and they did their absolute best to accommodate my ridiculously picky palette. While I am not likely to eat there again because it is not my particular cup of tea, everyone I was with enjoyed their food immensely and the meal that they brought me, after coming up with something I would eat on the fly, was delicious. Great service and very friendly.

Yelp
Just had to interrupt a busy Friday morning to share this review of this gem downtown Ohio. Finished a nice biz meeting and they recommended Georgio's Cafe for lunch. Walked over. Family run place with dark walls and string lights creating a soothing environment. Not packed which surprises me due to the service and food quality. Service was super....diet coke never saw the bottom of the glass. They had softshell crab as an entree but I asked for it as an appetizer: very possibly the BEST I've had. Very fresh, flash fried and deeeeeeelicious! The server wisely offered a dill sauce which was a great accompaniment. I had blackened fish which was nicely prepared and NOT too salty which you sometimes get. Served with green beans and a lemon rice. One of my lunch guests had dijon chicken which looked good and another had beef stroganoff. I'll be back repeatedly to Georgio's Cafe when I'm in Toledo. I'm actually eager to try dinner to see what they can do! If you're looking for a nice lunch or dinner at a unique place.....forget Jimmy John's and try Georgio's!

Yelp
The best part of my experience was the valet parking before the Valentine show. Two of the three of us were disappointed with our seafood dinners enduring a lingering unpleasant taste for hours afterward. The dinners were way overpriced and $8 for a beer was gouging. I love to support local restaurants but will never return to this one.
