"Open for: DinnerPrice range: $$$$Fat Dan’s Deli owner Dan Jarman envisioned a steakhouse where Dean Martin would drink a martini and perhaps croon a song at the baby grand that centers the dining room. The restaurant is also a tribute of sorts to Jarman’s mom, the titular Geraldine, and his father, a steak lover; family photos hang among other decorations on the exposed brick walls. The menu offers solid steaks, including a 60-day dry-aged porterhouse, rib-eye, 20-ounce chateaubriand, and beef wellington. If you prefer quieter conversation, request a table further inside, away from the live piano player.Best for: The intimate dining room is perfect for date night or solo diners that prefer to nurse a cocktail at the bar." - Brian Garrido

We cannot thank Geraldine's enough for making our proposal night absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, the experience was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Alison, our server, was truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and so incredibly helpful. She made sure every detail was perfect, and her warm demeanor added so much to the evening. The team went above and beyond to make us feel special. At most restaurants, you often feel like you need to go out of your way to earn that level of treatment, but at Geraldine's, we were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in. Thank you for creating such a magical atmosphere and for helping us celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime moment in such a bright and beautiful way. We will treasure this memory forever!

Google
Fantastic, first time visit for my wife and I. Had high expectations and even these were surpassed. Even the bread they serve before the meal was greater than it had a right to be and the Wellington was superb. Service was fantastic, love the building they use and while it is expensive it shouldn't be a surprise. I'm a cheap skate , especially on food, and even I was not able to complain. Wish it was closer to a nicer part of town but nothing concerning. We will definitely be back!

Google
Went to Geraldine’s for a date night with moderate-high expectations, which were far exceeded. Kara was our waitress who did a phenomenal job, at times it felt like she was spying on us, because her timing was impeccable. She made wonderful recommendations, and ensured we enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious, cooked and seasoned wonderfully. The cocktails were phenomenal, creative and delicious. We will absolutely be back again!

Google
I have been to a lot of steakhouses, and I am shocked that I have just heard of this one. The food was immaculate in every way. Our sever Nick was beyond knowledgeable of all the items and could explain them in detail, so ordering was very easy. What I menace by that was calculating portions based on our table size. He nailed it. The steaks, the lobster tail, the risotto, and scallops were cooked to perfection. We will most certainly be back!

Google
The ambiance is perfect for a date night. The bone marrow was delicious. The steak was so flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sean was amazing. He was so attentive without being over bearing, and so friendly. We will definitely be back :)

Google
This place is incredible. Came here for a special event and they did not disappoint. Phenomonal food, great staff. The environment was awesome, clean, and the mood perfect for enjoying a great steak and a cocktail. Easily one of the best old fashion's I've had in this city. The Beef Wellington was perfect. 1000% will be back again.

Google
Waitress was great. Cool atmosphere. Food wise, I thought everything was salty, which equates to me as a cheap way to get flavor. The cocktails were great, kudos to bar staff. The night we were there, an issue with the kitchen hood meant there was a lot of smoke in the dining area. Wasn't as pleasant. Not sure I would come back.

Google
Phenomenal dining experience - we love this place! A little pricey but well worth the expense - you get what you pay for. Risotto, steaks, scallops & oysters are always great options. Amazing food & service and coolest atmosphere/vibe.

Brad M.

Yelp
Kara was great! Excellent service. I'll be sure to request her table again. The food was amazing.

Leslie K.

Yelp
Food was delicious, service outstanding and ambiance perfect for a date night or nice evening out with friends for special celebrations.

Yelp
Our experience at Geraldine's Supper Club was incredible and simply fabulous! Our server, Savannah, was amazing--she really understood the menu and catered to my wife's pescatarian needs effortlessly. We started with a delightful salad and the calamari, which was hands down the best calamari I've had in some time! The standout dishes were the to-die-for scallops and my perfectly cooked steak, complete with an Oscar-style topping. During the courses off our meal, we also enjoyed some solid crafted drinks all made with Buffalo Trace. We opted to stick with drinks instead of diving into a traditional dessert. Those drinks were spot on! Between dining in decadently dimly lit Geraldine's main level near the bar and our server Savannah's attentiveness this made for a memorable dining experience, one I can't recommend enough.

Travis C.

Yelp
The atmosphere is lovely. Old bricks. Iron workings. Exposed pipes. Huge bar with gorgeous lighting and love piano music. The food was just ok. I personally had the Devour menu but at the table we also had the beef Wellington, calamari (which was the best food of the night), French onion soup, wine and a margarita. Nothing stood out as spectacular. Two people (one was the Devour menu) with one cocktail was nearly $175 (on Devour) before tip. I wish I had tried the coffee service, and may return again to try that, but overall it was not special enough for me to return.

Yelp
I have been to Geraldine's frequently as I live near by. It has always been a hit or miss, but I find it to be a local staple. We've even brought my company over for some events. My most recent trip for Valentine's Day has turned me off from the place completely. Let's start about the unpleasant woman on the phone who couldn't confirm my 8:15 reservation. It was showing up on open table but the person on the phone said they were booked. We arrived and were greeted by a server who was rushing us thru drink and food selection. The prix fixe three course menu was an astonishing $135 per person. When you charge more than Vida for its six course menu, I will hold you to Vida standards. First came out the crab cake and the salad. Supposedly the crab cake presentation was amazing. A fried oyster on top of a crab cake... nothing else. While tasty, I'm still confused about the presentation. The salad had way too much dressing and it was heavy on what I think was mayonnaise. The steaks were ordered medium rare. Mine came out raw, not even rare. My fiances came out medium well. We wound up swapping. Despite it being a ribeye, it was tough and full of tendon. Not a good quality ribeye. Honestly, it felt closer to top sirloin. The waiter offered to remake the undercooked one, but not the other. Strange. Then came the wrong desert. After that, we waited 10 minutes as our server helped others. Eventually, a red haired woman brought our deserts, with her frizzy hair touching our food. The opera cake was pretty good, but the praline was too hard. The soufflé looked worse than what you find at Starbucks these days. It was also raw. The server came with our check and put a lower priced bottle of wine for us for the desert mixup. But when he went to process my card, he changed the amount. I found this very dishonest and a final straw to an otherwise incredibly disappointing evening. Mind you, this was Valentine's Day. The food was awful, service lacking, and the dishonesty left a bad taste in my mouth. We got Shake Shack level of experience for the price of a Michelin starred restaurant.

Yelp
Tucked away deep into the neighborhood streets of Fountain Square, this is likely the best steakhouse in Indy, certainly in the top 4. The steaks are grass-fed local perfectly cooked and melt like butter. WOW the flavor came through the grill marks. Our favorite is the French onion soup. Oysters were great and came with three garnishes. HIGH quality ingredients every step of the way. We love sitting at the bar observing the bartenders while the cello and piano player upbeat music and birthdays and anniversaries surround us, perfect for a late night dim-lit conversation :) feels like you're in Europe at this Indianapolis Supper Club!

Ashlee S.

Yelp
Back home for a visit and found this gem. Fine dining establishment with a chill vibe. We had the best drinks. The mixologist guessed on drinks prepared for us and was spot on. BEST crème brûlée I have ever tasted! Steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The appetizers and sides were fantastic and perfectly prepared. The chef came out to see how we liked the food and was super nice. I will definitely stop here when visiting Indiana again.

Sophia S.

Yelp
We came here for my partner's birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. I don't believe that there is a designated parking lot for the restaurant, but we found street parking very close to the entrance. We had reservations and were sat immediately. The seating is intimate and you are close to other diners, but the space isn't so big that it feels loud. There was lovely live piano music and the service was good. We had a couple cocktails (dirty gin martini, espresso martini, and one other one off the cocktail menu but we can't remember - just that it was wonderful) and started with the oysters/caviar appetizer. Delicious! For our mains we did steaks and two shared sides, creamed spinach and au gratin potatoes. The amount of food was perfect and we actually had leftovers. While it was expensive, it was no more than any other steakhouse and we would return here before Ruth Chris since it had a more cozy, speakeasy, New York kind of vibe.

Pamela C.

Yelp
Good, service & ambiance was exceptional. I would highly recommend you try Geraldine's.

Heather B.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner at Geraldine's!! What a fantastic find! The atmosphere was so cool! The food was phenomenal! Specifically, our waiter, Phillip, was wonderful and an absolute delight! I'm recommending it to all my friends and business associates!

Lenisha L.

Yelp
It's devour so of course I have to try somewhere I've never been before! Met with one of my girlfriends here for dinner to enjoy their devour menu. Parking is street parking in fountain square with no meters. They also have valet! As we walked in through that huge wooden door you could tell this was a historic building. It had so much charm with a beautiful piano on the main dining floor and a bar to the left upon entry. We were seated upstairs where they stuffed about 50 tables up there lol. Not sure if the building has an elevator so if stairs are a trouble definitely note that in your reservation. We did a full circle to be seated at our table. I did appreciate that they had bathrooms on both the main floor and upper level. It took about 7 minutes for our server to come over, but someone poured us water in the meantime. We could tell she was busy it was a very busy night for the resturant so we were patient. We put our food order in and took a look at their expansive wine list...our server Kara let us sample the wine before we committed to a bottle. They had half bottle specials as well and were are out of veuve clicquot which I really wanted. The wine was good, we chose a decent Merlot and it paired well with all the red meat I had to eat lol. I started with the wagyu meatballs and they had a good flavor, but were a little hard and came out semi cold. The entree I ordered was the 12 oz Ribeye Au Poivre I didn't know what any of that meant, but another friend suggested the steak. When it arrived cooked to perfection at medium it smelled sooooo flavorful and accompanied by truffle fries and a garlic aioli. This steak was sooooo juicy, soooooo tender, and bursting with flavor. The truffle fries were an amazing touch I've had some really good steaks, but this was easily top 3 best steaks I've ever had. For desert I got the Carmel Apple bread pudding and I'm a bread pudding snob so I asked a lot of questions because everywhere I try bread pudding it's always a let down compared to the one I love at Ruth's Chris. I'm glad I let Kara talk me into it because it was pretty damn good. Overall the service was pretty good we got to talk with Kara more and also the GM, Kara shared not only some cool stories about the history of the building and the owner but also her herds clutters candy haha...I kid you not she was so cool and it was like talking to a friend. Can't wait to come back !

Selena H.

Yelp
This place is fantastic. The food and service was top tier and the drinks were made to perfection. As for the restaurant, I usually don't care for the industrial vibe, but this place had the perfect warm and cozy feel for a cold winter night. Highly highly recommend.

Craig T.

Yelp
Beef Wellington was amazing. Wonderful food. Great service. Highly recommend. I'll be back

Christian C.

Yelp
While I thoroughly enjoyed the company I was with (party of 12) and our wait staff .... The particular crowd that is kept here isn't welcoming for people of color! I understand this legit has nothing to do with the restaurant itself but as a black woman, it is typically something I check around to find out when exploring new places. As far as Geraldine's is concerned, wonderful ambiance and drinks.. the food is lack luster & too pricey not to be enjoyed. I will try again with a smaller group of people maybe even a date night and see if we are stared at the same way... I'll report back soon, perhaps! The best food of the night was the crab cakes...... everything else, I wouldn't spend my money on especially the unseasoned & mashed with water mashed potatoes

Jack C.

Yelp
Price, went for Valentine Day. They had a grossly over priced pre fixed menu. Really disappointed as I have always enjoyed previous visits.

Adam S.

Yelp
It's a small restaurant with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Drinks and food were prepared perfectly. Speak to the bar tender and he'll work on drink recommendations based upon what spirits you like.

Guy J.

Yelp
Ambience nice and great place to take a business guest. Great food. Just need more parking!

Kevin F.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite spots in Indy! It is definitely a neighborhood gem! Vibe is killer and the beef Wellington is amazing! Service is always good!

Ira E.

Yelp
I went to my Christmas party . The room was very very dark so much so we had phone out to read the menu . The drinks are top notch. Service was impeccable. The food was just mid at best . Salmon was very bland . Ribeyes are just ok .

Sandy L.

Yelp
I have wanted to go to Geraldine's for a long time and it did not disappoint. Beautiful historic building, exposed brick inside very nice ambiance. Servers and staff work to make it a memorable fine dining experience without being stuffy. I and my companion ordered different steaks, mine a special with gnocchi and hers the beef wellington. Oh my, so good! I expected good steak but I did not expect it to compete with the well known steak houses at a more reasonable price. Again staff is above and beyond, between the piano player and the warm brick it does take you back in time with a speakeasy feel. FYI: If you want to be on the first floor with the piano player be sure to make that a part of your reservation. Some standard tables some high tops. Upstairs is larger and very comfortable.

Dan J.

Yelp
The whole experience was awesome. From the pre-dinner cocktails at the stunning bar, including the wait staff, and the food, everything was well above expectations, and it was so good I have not a single complaint

Ashley H.

Yelp
23-Jul-2023 We were looking for a really good place to have a celebration dinner and this amazing restaurant is two houses away. The building reminds you of a speak easy. The ambiance is amazing with a live pianist. She was finished with her shift, but played two more songs for us. The service was good and food was good. We loved everything about our dinner and wine. If you are looking for a great steak and good wine in a relaxing venue then this is the place for you. Thanks, Ashley & Lindsey

April K.

Yelp
The real star here is the ambiance. It feels rich and fancy without being stuffy. I loved that. It's important to know that the dining area is up a couple flights of stairs. I'm not sure if they have an elevator or not. There is seating in the downstairs bar too, where there was music. I tried French onion soup (amazing) , the potato chips (way too many for two people!), and for dinner my friend and I split our two meals so we each tried the chef's Risotto, and the Beef Wellington. The Risotto was not too enjoyable to me. It was almost like a creole or jambalaya vibe, but it wasn't committed to it. The beef Wellington was fine. The sides for Au Gratin and Mushrooms were both delicious and the coffee service was fun. The service was the other star of the show, I would go back for the service and ambiance, but would to make new choices on food.

Chelsea S.

Yelp
I make my way to Geraldine's a few times a year and it's always consistently good. I want to edit my review to add that they are great about splitting checks for large groups! I went last weekend for a birthday dinner in a party of 11. We were fully prepared to take one check and work it out amongst ourselves later, but our server had no problem divvying up our checks in every which way (1 person, 2 people, one person paying for 2 plus the birthday boys entree, etc). They service is always attentive as well, and we were checked on my the manager several times thought the night. I'm always happy with the filet Oscar!

Sharon K.

Yelp
Went with my coworkers for Devour Indy. Cute restaurant, great service, but food was just average. We ordered off the Devour Indy menu. I got the grilled peach and feta salad, 12 oz ribeye, and harvest apple crisp. Salad was good but flavors were a little too light for me, the feta was too small and mild and didn't balance the overall flavors. The ribeye had an ok flavor and was cooked as ordered (medium rare) but it was too chewy and gristley. Was incredibly disappointed. The apple crisp was good; right amount of sweetness but the texture was a bit off, the oats were a bit too chewy. The best thing all night was the bread, absolutely great crisp outside and airy, chewy inside served with sweet butter. Overall the food was an average three, service was great bringing up my rating to a four. Being a bit harsher on the food, if you're going to present yourself as an upscale restaurant with prices to match the food better be elevated to match and unfortunately it was not.

Joel N.

Yelp
PLEASE ignore the completely ignorant "1 star" reviews. These are people just looking for attention or to get something free from the restaurant. Geraldine's was as good, if not BETTER than the "big name" steakhouses downtown or on the north side. We have enjoyed all of them and this experience was above and beyond! From the bar service, to the food service to the atmosphere to the amazing, cut with a spoon and melt on your mouth steak, this was the best date night experience we have had in years! We absolutely will be back as a couple as well as with friends for a double date night or a friends dinner.

Fran S.

Yelp
Very classy restaurant great food, service and ambience. Very pricey but worth it. A good place to celebrate a special occasion.

Sean D.

Yelp
This is our go to date night out. Food is consistently good. Top notch service from the bar to tables. Highly recommend.

Abby M.

Yelp
This was top 3 of my favorite dinners I've had. The restaurant is beautiful with brick & a speakeasy/intimate vibe. It's in fountain square and you would not guess a high end restaurant would be in the building! The staff was so friendly. The bartender, our waiter, & I believe the manager all checked on us multiple times. We ordered the crab cakes which come with a zesty sauce & they are the best I have ever had in Indiana!! There is complimentary bread & truffle butter. The French onion soup also was a highlight. It had huge pieces of cheese & breading and was the best soup I've ever ordered! I got the smaller filet & it was cooked perfectly. The au gratin potatoes were amazing & had so much flavor. We didn't have room for dessert but I'm sure it's amazing. Highly highly recommend for a celebration! It is pricy but worth every penny for a nice dinner

Mariah T.

Yelp
I really wanted to like Geraldine's but to be honest I was underwhelmed. I have been seeing a lot of hype surrounding the establishment so I reserved a spot for me and a couple friends to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant itself is very cute. Brick walls throughout the building, a piano player, and beautiful lighting fixtures. The food on the other hand, is where they lost me. I ordered the lamb chops, a caesar salad and mojito. The lamb was not bad but the flavor didn't seem to travel inside the meat, it casually sat on the outer skin. The lamb also didn't come with anything but they may be to be expected at a "fine dining" establishment. The portion of the caesar salad was hearty but seem to just be a very bland take on caesar salad. The lettuce seemed to be more iceberg than romaine. The sides were family style so we got carrots, au gratin potatoes, scallop potatoes and green beans. I really don't understand how out of all of these sides I couldn't find one that had a great flavor. I was definitely disappointed in the flavor of most all the side dishes. Service was interesting. We seemed to have multiple folks helping out. Someone brought our sorbet (palate cleanser), another person brought our drinks, our main server brought the food, so it seemed like an all hands on deck kind of situation. We seemed to wait on our drinks for a little longer than anticipated and our food seemed to take quite a while. When food comes out in an appropriate amount of time you usually don't notice how long it takes but this instance we all started wondering when we were next. The restaurant was not packed so it seemed strange that we waited close to 30 minutes for our meals. For the price and food quality I don't think I will be back. I really enjoy supporting local businesses but I do feel like it didn't live up to the hype around it.

Court A.

Yelp
Service, food, and ambiance were incredible. Our bartender, Ryan, and his coworkers were 10/10.. You don't need to order the cognac cream addition, the steak if perfect. But you're the worst kind of person if you don't.

Michael K.

Yelp
Great ambiance, even if the guy next to us spilled her wine all over his date as he was greedily reaching for the calamari appetizer. The staff covered and did a great job of covering and keeping things quiet. Service was super for us , wife and I were catered to like you would expect at a restaurant of this type. Food was delicious, well prepared and served hot. I would definitely return to enjoy the building, decor, and the ultimate dining experience.

Aaron R.

Yelp
This is a cool spot but the he food is probably mids at best. It seems to be a steak house which I didn't really know before going. My filet was cooked but not well, it was medium, medium well, and well. Eating a well done fillet is like getting slapped in the face by a liberal. The piano is nice. The ding room is snug, the ac doesn't keep up in the heat. Everyone in the place hand a decent glow to them, like we were at the gym. Overall not great food or a great experience. Need better chef staff and ac but other than that was ok.

Brian G.

Yelp
Geraldine's is one of those places you would bring your best friends from out of town. Listen to some piano playing, order a martini and then sup on well-prepared steaks

William M.

Yelp
The service was good. The drinks were also good. The best food that we had was the Gorgonzola chips. Everything else was lacking. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will not be returning.

Afsoc X.

Yelp
First off, whoever designed this place did a fantastic job visually, it's got the look and feel of a high class cigar bar you see in larger cities usually exclusive to the "high Enders". But when you walk in it's very welcoming and relaxing to any and everyone with mild noise as everyone isn't chatting super loud trying to compete for who has the loudest table like so many places do. We ordered the wellingtons, lobster mac and lamb lollipops. THE GOOD: Waiting Staff: 9/10 Adult Beverages: 9/10 they like to pour it! The Beef Wellington: 8/10, The cost was a tad over $50, on par with other places. The prep on them proved they pre prepped and cooked them a bit too fast. The outer 1/4 of the meat was overly well done and tough while the center was still mooing and not quite medium rare yet, but still edible. The fillet was perfectly seasoned as well as the pate and duxelles, wrapped in a very delicious and also perfectly seasoned puff pastry. Even with the over zealous cooking of the fillet it still warranted a 8/10 rating, if they had nailed the fillet I can see it getting a 9 or higher. THE BAD: The Lamb Lollipops: 6/10, Lamb is my favorite meat to eat, and my sons, unfortunately they were slightly under seasoned and slightly over cooked. You had to saw through a bit more than usual just them to eat them. This was a bit disappointing for us, especially because the price we paid vs quality that was given. Really lamb doesn't even need much seasoning as long as you char the outside and leave the inside tender, but it fell a bit flat here. Lobster Mac: 0/10 what a major disappointment! We love lobster Mac! This did not do it for us at all. The pasta for one was under cooked, dry, and whatever the pork in it was tasted like ham hocks which over powered any lobster taste and ruined the thought of what lobster Mac in our minds was. We literally only ate a two bites each trying to figure out why... 95% of the Mac wasn't even touched again, (No refund offered). FINALLY: Because the environment was enjoyable, the service staff was kind and attentive, the Wellington was still great despite the mishap in cooking, we will try it again but with lower expectations this time as we hope this first experience was just a one time mishap.

Carl R.

Yelp
This place is a step above and the ambiance is total class! No suit and tie required but the vibe is totally upscale! The drinks were delicious and mixed perfectly! Easy to drink but high octane! The service was superb and very professional. The appetizer, crab cakes, were divine. Much more crab than filler. The scallop potatoes were so yummy and comfort food 101. The filets were both cooked perfectly and tender, succulent pieces of beef! The piano playing in the background set a cool mood, but could get in the way of conversation for sure. Needs a middle ground between live music but not overpowering. Will be back again and again! Super legit hang and could easily be a go to spot where you become a regular!

Courtney S.

Yelp
It was amazing!! me and my husband went there and had an amazing time. we got the blue crab cakes that were to die for then my husband got the lamb and oh lord to the taste to the color is just amazing and the salmon was out of this world!

Bryan G.

Yelp
Get the Delmonico. Ask for Alexandra. Both are incredible! This is what 85 extra characters look like.

Yelp
Fantastic service, amazing atmosphere and phenomenal food. I live in Indy and had work colleagues in town from Columbus, Detroit, and Richmond and chose Geraldine's for our business dinner. Perfect choice! Savannah, our server, was knowledgeable, polite, and balanced checking on our service well with giving us the right amount of space to enjoy our time. I highly recommend their Wyoming steak, the lobster mac'n'cheese, and their smoked Manhattan. My colleagues left more than impressed!

Emm M.

Yelp
This place is insanely expensive. Everything was good. Some of it even delicious. And the service was great. The staff worked very hard to provide the best service. However, if you want to pay this much for a meal there are better places in Indy at this price point. On price though-- I will say their cocktails are actually very competitively priced. $10-$13 per drink. For cocktails near downtown Indy that is actually the going rate, so this could be a great place to dress up and get a few cocktails at a fancy bar. They had a live piano player by the bar, too. I'm surprised the cocktails were that cheap. I got a goat cheese tart, a steak, and bread pudding. The steak was very good. Especially the squash and peppers on top. Those were very good, and I almost wish I could get a side with just that! The bread pudding was the best part of the meal. It was just too delicious! It was a nice fancy meal. In the end I would say it's four stars. It's good food. However, there are just better places to go if you want to spend this much money. Still, it's a nice place to get a fancy dinner with friends. And, the cocktails are cheap! So if that's all you want the bar here is a good upscale cocktail bar.

Yelp
I can't believe I've lived in FSQ for almost 3 years and I've never been to Geraldine's before. It's a staple in the neighborhood and I can see why. My husband and I came for Devour because the menu options were really great! The inside is so cool and rustic looking. Tasteful decor that really lets the brick and dark wood shine. It's a really beautiful place. I got the French onion soup, and it's one of the best I've had in a long time. Very creamy and flavorful! My husband had the wedge salad and he enjoyed it very much. Both of us had steaks and they were cooked to our liking. Juicy, warm, with good sides that complimented the taste. Can't really ask for much more! The really fun part of the meal with dessert because we opted to do coffee service. They bring out a carafe of hot coffee and a tray of topping and add-ins. It's makes for a fun and interactive way to finish the night. Overall a great experience! I would love to come back for an anniversary as the staff and ambience were perfect!

Tracey T.

Yelp
It was just ok. I was super excited to go, as I have heard so much about it. Food was fine. Drinks were ok. Would I go back? Maybe. This review is average nearing mediocre, kind of like the experience we had at Geraldine's. The server/bartender did try upsell the wine we selected. (Without consent) We ordered the bottle of $70 Daou and she gave us the $111 reserve bottle. (Literally pointing at the $70 bottle on the list so she knew what we wanted) We didn't realize until they sent us the bill. It just felt a little sketchy.

Yelp
Amazing and attentive service. Food was most delectable. We've been multiple times and each experience was remarkable.

Yelp
Food, atmosphere and service at Geraldine's were all amazing. We celebrated birthday there and will definitely be going back. Shout out to Ally, for the exceptional service

Yelp
WOW! What a special evening we had on Valentine's Day. When we walked in the host handed me a red rose and we got sat at our table. They first gave us sorbet to clear our pallet. For our first course I got wedge salad and it was great portion. For dinner I ordered the 8oz filet and the herb butter on top was DELICIOUS. for desert I got the banana bread pudding that was sooo good! There was live music which was a perfect touch to a perfect evening!

Yelp
This one has been in my list for a long minute. I always feel like there needs to be a reason to go to a fancy place. I love this space and the ambiance. The brick walls and the piano player. It's cozy and intimate but open and airy. Service is spectacular and on point. The food is ok, nothing to spectacular given the other steak competitors in the city. I wasn't a fan of the sauce on the steak and the filet was chewy. The Augratin potatoes were delicious with a hint of garlic but not over powering. Might be a good spot to get a cocktail but I'm not sold on the food for the price.

Yelp
Participated in Devour Indy and have always wanted to try Geraldine's. Reservations are the best idea. The space is dark and cozy. The Devour menu allowed for a peach and feta salad which was a great choice to start. Really good flavor. The best part of the experience was the waiter who was friendly and helpful with service that was quick, but not rushed. The steak was cooked as asked, but not the best I've had in Indy. A companion ordered fries and they were very large steak fries that were easy to share and well seasoned. I chose a lemon, blueberry dessert also from the Devour menu which was just okay. I left full and satisfied, but not sure Geraldine's is all that it has been hyped up to be for me.

Yelp
I've eaten here a couple times and live for the coffee service. I will say the first time I came I sat at the bar as we didn't have reservations and it was lovely. I made reservations for a friend's birthday and they sat us upstairs which was a little disappointing. There was music upstairs but I could also hear the live music from downstairs which was one of the reasons I chose this restaurant. Dinner was delicious once again but really missed the ambiance upstairs.
