4 Under-the-Radar New Restaurants to Check Out in New Orleans Right Now - Eater New Orleans

"This tucked-away weekend spot is from Sno-La Snowballs, serving snack bar-style food alongside slices of Debbie Does Doberge cake and sno-balls. Savory snacks include cajun boudin nachos, stuffed peppers, and tuna salad croissant sandwiches, but sweet treats rule the menu here. It’s open and serving in the courtyard Thursday through Monday from 1 to 8 p.m. for Magazine Street strollers looking for a mid-shop snack." - Clair Lorell

This snow balls here are delicious!!! I had a coconut one and my friend had a lemonade and blueberry one. Some people that beside up had a cheesecake snow ball and looked very good. It has a creamy consistency to it. It’s cold and very refreshing for the humid temperatures here.

Highly recommend!! This was the perfect stop on a hot day after walking around and visiting the garden district. We tried the strawberry and chocolate snowballs and they were delicious. They have so much more on their menu we will have to come back and try. Super friendly service and a really nice courtyard to sit in and enjoy.

After a long day of walking and sight-seeing we stumbled upon this place in the garden district and since I love a good SnoBall we gave it a try. So glad we did! Not only was it the best SnoBall I have had but you can get it stuffed with cheesecake ice cream, etc. Also the workers were wonderful - kind, engaging, and super welcoming. Whether you are a tourist or local - definitely make this place a go-to;).

Two words...SNOBALL TASTING!! My family and I bought tickets to the snoball tasting and it is SO worth it. You basically get to taste the menu. These sweet original treats will have you so glad you came to check out Get Stuffed. Come with an empty stomach and leave in a sugar coma. My group grabbed two appetizers before digging into snowballs. We had the Boudin Nachos and Bread Bowl Spinach dip. Both were delicious. This is not just a snowball joint. Check out the food! We will be back!!

This was our first time trying a snowball, and we were not disappointed! We stumbled upon Get Stuffed after a long day walking around the Garden District. Not only was the pina colada snowball delicious and refreshing, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful! Definitely going back on my next NOLA trip!

We recently did the snowball tasting and would 100/10 recommend. It’s the perfect tasting of so many flavors. You get to try a little bit of everything. I ended up liking flavors I would’ve never gotten in a full size snowball. The flavors are delicious and the owner is so kind. A side note, the food there is also delicious definitely try the spinach dip in a bowl!!

This place is perfect. Clean, well lit, decorated beautifully, very welcoming. Snow balls were great, service was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend that you check this out with kids or just adults. We loved the green apple and the amaretto cream (we mixed with coconut cream and it was heavenly)

Super friendly owner, and delicious desserts! We got the brownie sundae with the Sno-la cheesecake and it was the best dessert I've eaten in NOLA 😋

Yelp
The food is very tasty and super reasonably priced. It's actually really cheap for the area but the food is really good quality to say how reasonably priced it is. The desserts kind of cost more than the food. There is a great courtyard to hang outside and people watch all of the Magazine St happenings. The inside is kind of quirky and small but is a cute little place to get a quick bite and hang out for a date or just to catch up with a friend. The plates are small but complete and filling. If you get a couple of items on your own you'll be stuffed but if you split with friends you can have room for food and desserts. The place just opened so the staff has lots of time to give great recommendations of things for tourists to do. It's a slightly bias review because I know the owners but everything is truly delicious and that is not bias at all. They invited all of their friends for a soft opening and everyone could not have been more impressed.

Yelp
The food is incredible!! We had the chicken and sausage bread bowl and the spinach and artichoke bread bowl. The sourdough bread was perfectly buttery and flaky. We ate every last crumb! We followed it up with the spirited doberge cake which had delicious layers of cinnamon spice cake infused with an Apple Brandy. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
We were visiting New Orleans and we had an amazing sno-ball! Had the Chantilly cake which had cheesecake at the bottom. A different experience than the typical ice cream in it. Met the owner who actually checked on us while we were eating it to see how we liked it! Highly recommend when you are in New Orleans!

Yelp
Big fan of the stuffed snowballs from Sno-La and have also ordered their other dessert options for catering including the brookies (my favorite) and turtle brownies! These desserts have an authenticity to them that you only find with homemade desserts. So excited they've expanded to savory items as well!
