"You’re going to need some caffeine to deal with the crowds posing for photos in front of strangers’ used chewing gum. Skip the commercial chaos at a certain coffee chain's "first" location (that isn't even actually the first) and head to Ghost Alley instead for a quality macchiato that doesn't contain caramel drizzle by default. Here, you’ll find classic coffee drinks and more thrilling ones, like the “salty nut” latte with caramel, hazelnut, and applewood-smoked salt. " - aimee rizzo

"Next to the brick wall spackled with strangers’ used chewing gum is a wonderful cafe called Ghost Alley Espresso. Go ahead and skip the lines at the “original Starbucks” and grab a cappuccino at this literal hole-in-the-wall. You’ll find classic coffee drinks and more thrilling ones, like the “salty nut” latte with caramel, hazelnut, and applewood-smoked salt. After drinking a stiff cup, then by all means, snap your obligatory selfie with several thousand wads of expelled Trident." - Aimee Rizzo, Kayla Sager Riley

Excellent Espresso! 👻 Although I didn't feel any ghost presence possessing my body...I did feel the caffeine in my body after having one shot of espresso here! Great location - just underneath the Public Market sign and next to the gum wall. I also bought a bag of their signature ghost alley blend to take home with me to Canada. I am sipping on some as I write this review and it's fantastic! 😁☕️

Great espresso! It’s a bit hidden away in Pike Place Market near the gum wall. It’s a to go window only. They had some creative drinks, got the Salty Nut and a flavored latte. Both were really good. The guy working there was really friendly. Definitely recommend coming here.

Strong, delicious beans! Love this coffee. Love the location. Enjoyed the clerk and barista. The merchandise is super neat. A bunch of awesome and dope stickers. Located next to the famous "gum wall".

Because the line for the original Starbucks was so long, I searched up another coffee joint close by and this one popped up. It was hard to find because it’s downstairs right at the base of the gum wall so if you are looking for it up at the fish market, it’s right below you. Head down the stairs right by post alley, and there it is. We had an Americano and a mystery mocha. Both were fantastic, a great alternative to standing in a huge line to get Starbucks.

Went here on a busy afternoon and thankfully there wasn’t a line! Staff were friendly and got drinks out super fast, I ordered a mystery mocha which was a dark chocolate pumpkin hazelnut mocha. In my opinion, the coffee was quite bitter, but I’m not sure if it’s because of the mystery mocha combination. It is quite pricey, almost $8 for a mocha that I didn’t fully enjoy. I might give it another try if I’m in the area, but I do think there are better tasting coffee shops out there. Vibes are really cute though near the Gum Wall Alley!

After visiting the gum wall, get a delicious “mystery mocha” coffee ☕️ One of my favorite coffee experiences! They ask you questions about scary movies and movie monsters 👹 And make a special mocha! Unique. Craft. Entertaining. Spooky! 👻 Only offer a walk up window for ordering. No tables or chairs available! I would rate this as a must visit place while in Seattle 🙌 Located in Gum Wall Alley!!! Definitely haunted 😉👻

Hidden gem down the stairs in the pike place market! Super friendly service and really unique coffee flavor choices! Natural syrups also!

Absolutely amazing hidden gem of a coffee shop. Met Mike the owner who is so kind and radiated goodness. The coffee was bomb. 10/ 10 experience. Slightly hidden which adds to the vibe. But if you were trying to find go down the stairs to the gum wall which is to the left of the big Pikes Place market sign and it’s right there.
