Ghost Alley Espresso

I went here to get my latte fix. It took a while for me to find it. When I got there, there were only 5 people in front of me. So I got my latte and I was quite disappointed. There was no coffee taste. I expected more from this edgy café. The price was also quite steep, $7.17 (incl. tax) for a tasteless latte is not what I was looking for. Great concept though. There were 4 seats, only for the customers.

My group had various lattes. All were amazing. It is a fun atmosphere. I have had coffee many places in Pikes Place. Ghost Alley does not disappoint. Put it on your to do list.

Great coffee shop located on the lower level by the Iconic market place sign. So much to see and do in this direct area. Very near the entrance to Seattle's infamous bubble gum wall (Alley). Average price $9-12 depending on what you want.

Clearly a IYKYK situations with this coffee shop. If you want funky, really out their coffee experiences, make sure you drop by this location. Their special was absolutely delicious and something that I have never tried before. 💯 On the must visit each time I come back to Seattle.

Totally worth a stop if you're in Pike Place. There is no inside, just a line to a window, spend your time waiting checking out all the graffiti in the alley. The coffee is very good and the mystery mocha is fun.

Awesome little coffee joint conveniently located at the market and by the gum wall. The service was excellent—barista was pretty cool and brought out the drink when it was done. There are a few chairs off to the side if you need to sit while you wait—there is an additional seating area in the atrium after you’ve gotten your drink. I had the dirty chai with oat milk. Would recommend!

Coffee's great. One thing that i remember the most is how nice and friendly the cashier was. He gave me free stickers too ✨️

Personally I’m not the biggest fan of the location but I’m still glad my spouse and I stopped. The coffee was good and the merch is entertaining. The barista who ok our order was very friendly and walked us through the various sticker designs they had available. Also, if you are looking for gum to add your DNA to the local art installation, they sell some there.

They make great espresso Tried 3 coffee places today This was the best one. Unsweetened Salty Nut house made syrup is amazing.

I needed some caffeine to start a very long day filled with adventure and Ghost Alley Espresso was the perfect place to do it. Since I was still used to East Coast time, we got there really early and had no wait which was nice. This cute coffee facade is located under the main Pike Place Market sign, down some stairs. Do note that the specialty drinks are a bit on the pricier side, but still pretty yummy. The barista who took our order was really sweet. This is like an outdoor coffee shop. There aren't exactly tables, but there are a few chairs and places around that you could find a seat if you really wanted one. It's a great place to grab a drink to walk around with. I loved all the art on the walls. It's also right next to the famous gum wall. They even sell gum! If you're in the area it's a nice place to check out.

Horrible service and terrible coffee. Do not recommend. There are much better options in Pike Place. Don't waste your money here. I saw all the employees attack a customer when they were filming receiving their coffee. It was so horrible how the employees treated them that I wanted to cancel my order but it was too late. I will never come back and neither should you. This place does not deserve the amount of business they receive.

Located under make Pike's place level right next to gum walls. Service was very nice and they even threw in a sticker. However, the espresso was pulled quite acidic and sour and could be tasted through the milk.

Amazing coffee shop with outdoor counter service next to The Gum Wall around Pike Place Market. The coffee is some of the best evert and we look forward to returning.

We tried the mystery mocha & it was a fun concept! The drink tasted great. I love that the baristas customize it & they are willing to change it if you're not satisfied! Overall, great service & great drinks.

Ghost alley espresso calmed my caffeine fix! The line was pretty short when I went around 1pm. They are a few chairs on the side to wait for your order (or drink it). The whisky cold brew sounded great, but so did the salty nut latte. The barista suggested I get the cold brew with the salty but syrup. It was so good! I typically get much more cream in my coffee, but the flavor balanced well enough and stood on its own.

i like the design of the store and the concept of the mystery mocha always being a different flavor and you can also have a free remake if you don't like what you receive the first time! They asked me what super power i would choose and maybe that is what they are basing what flavor to add into the mocha. it does take quite a bit of time for them to make it but luckily we were in no rush and it was not too cold outside. I can't confirm for sure but i believe i was provided with a cinnamon mocha which was a little above average! cute concept, fun art and worth a try 3/5 my partner got a vanilla latte which was a similar level of yummy i would say to the mystery mocha. 3/5

Cool small coffee place, kind of out of the way. In-between the gum walls and pikes market place. Staff was friendly drinks didn't take too long to make. Depending on weather area could smell a bit.

One of the spots on Pike that I have to go when I visit! I'm really happy with their espresso, the quick service and quality! The ambiance is also very nice with many people coming in to grab some coffee! It's a good place to people watch and enjoy the scene!

Best coffee I had while in Seattle! Located right next to the Gum wall on Post Alley! The staff was really friendly & welcoming and the coffee was so good! I got the Salty Nut & that flavor is seriously so good! Not overtly sweet! They have cute merch as well. Really loved it!

Really great drinks. They have the classic espresso drinks but also some creative ones that I really enjoyed. Our drinks were so good that I wanted a keepsake from this spot and bought a mug to take home to LA with me. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

Maybe it's much better to go here not during chaotic peak times (went on a Sat early afternoon) because my iced mocha wasn't well made. Very skimpy on the espresso with the majority of the cup filled with milk. The coffee brew taste itself (the little of it that was in the cup) was pretty flavorful though so I can (faintly) see why there's a fanbase for this coffee spot. Friendly staff here. Strictly a grab-and-go-spot (order at the window right next to the Gum Wall).

During my souvenir shopping I made a quick stop to this place. Friendly and welcoming staff that answered all my questions. They have an extensive menu! Great tasty coffee!

There was no line since we arrived early, around 7:30 AM on a weekend. I ordered an 8-ounce latte, which was decent, but overall, the experience was pretty average.

I unfortunately was very unsatisfied with my drink. I ordered a large marshmallow oat milk latte and it didn't taste like even a hint of marshmallow. I felt like I wasted $7+ on hot milk. It's a shame since what drew me to the store was the fact that they make their own syrups in house. On the plus, the cashier was super cool and friendly. Their merch was pretty cute. Someone I know mentioned they enjoyed the plain coffee, so other drinks may be worth trying out, but I won't be back. The spot is right by the gum wall.

I'm an absolute sucker for anything "Mystery" on a menu. We ordered the Barista's Choice Mystery Mocha. (One of the questions was "what would you choose for your superpower to be") I'm not quite sure what they put in it, but it was delicious! (Don't worry, they asked about allergies first.)

Great place for a pick me up! The staff were friendly and helpful. I ordered at the window then waited on the side with the rope divider. The store is right next to the gum wall. Overall line goes really quickly. Definitely a place to go for a strong drink.

Tucked away coffee spot underneath the main level of the market, I ordered a 12oz salty nut iced and it came out to $8. While the flavors were good and a nice blend with the coffee, I would say that size coffee with only 2 shots should be priced a little lower than that. Other than that, it's a fun visit and this is a grab and go spot

Great spot for an afternoon pick me up right by the gum wall! The line moves very quickly and we received our drinks quickly. I ordered the smog, and the friendly employee up front recommended adding lavender! It was a good call because the lavender was a nice touch to the beverage. They also sell gum for the gum wall if you forgot to bring your own!

Walking around Pike's Place market and need a coffee? This is a great place to stop! I had the Salty Nut and it was delicious.

I wanted to try more coffee places, so we went here! It was cool that it's right next to the Gum Wall, but I got a little anxious going down those stairs haha. The people working were super nice, and they let me know that the smallest sized iced drink they can do is 12 ounces. I ordered an iced Salty Nut, and I was expecting more of a stronger caramel and nutty flavor, but I felt like the flavor was fleeting. Maybe it would have been better as a hot drink!

I'm glad I got to try Ghost Alley Espresso in the month of October! Located right next to The Gum Wall, this coffee shop window with spooky vibes had some great tasting lattes! My only complaints were the price and the size of the drinks. It's one of those places where a coffee is around $8 with tax for something the size of a tall from Starbucks.

Quirky and hidden spot away from PPM. The service was quick, even with a line. Tried Salty Nut Latte with oat milk- it was a nice mix of nutty flavors and a hint of sweetness but it wasn't overpowering in sweetness. So it's a perfect amount of sweet within a cup of hot latte! I'd recommend that speciality drink if anyone dared to venture for a unique drink toward an alley then... GO FOR IT!

Seems like a go-to location for tourists as it is right next to the gum wall. They have lots of specialty syrup flavors like salty nut, coconut, and cheesecake. They did get my order wrong and gave me a hot latte instead of iced. I do think it would have been better iced. This is only an ordering window, there is no place to sit.

Quite a few locals nearby raved about this place, which is downstairs in the alley almost in a hole in the wall. I was excited to try them, there was a line but toughed it out It's like 2 people or maybe 3 work there so if there's a line prepare to wait. I had no idea what to get so she recommended the whiskey coffee mocha and the Earl Gray tea with a shot of espresso - cloudy or like a dirty Chai. A few chairs for you to sit down and they brought out my 2 coffees. Ok - that mocha whiskey coffee drink had no whiskey flavor at all. In fact it has some orangy kinda flavor that threw me off. It really wasn't that good. The Earl Gray Dirty Chai was ok, nothing special, flavor was very subtle and not nearly as robust as I had hoped for. I am not sure if they were so busy it became an execution or quality control issue but mocha and whiskey aren't supposed to mimic orange. Service was good - even with a line she was very patient with me and helped me through. Even though it's 3-star experience (ok) I would try them again to validate or confirm my orange theory. I also bought their beans so we shall see when I get home how they turn out. Happy New Year!

Come here and grab a Salty Nut. Friendly service in a little corner by gum wall alley. Little two people seating and table if you want to wait or enjoy your coffee there. Came on a weekend and it wasn't too busy.

We almost missed this charming hole in the wall coffee shop but stumbled into it while seeing the gun wall/alley. The barista was very nice and recommended the "mystery" latte. They checked for allergies and then I was asked if I could have a super power, what would it be? If I could have a super hero sidekick animal, what would it be? The obvious answers were teleportation and a raccoon wearing a bandana. With that a delicious mystery drink was concocted!

Great lattes. Chai latte with oat milk was flavorful and lightly sweet. Salty nut latte with oat milk was nutty, sweetly satisfying, and delicious.

This was a pretty cool place to try out and explore being right there where the famous gum wall alley is. Menu is simple and short, nothing too complex or out of the ordinary. I got the Mystery Mocha, now there is a sign with a list of flavors that they will ask if there are certain things you don't want in your mystery mocha or if dairy was good or not for you. Which I thought was pretty nice The person taking the order was very helpful and had good vibes all around. The order didn't take long to come out either. I'd recommend giving this place a try if you want something different and the interesting environment. They also do sell gum there if you forgot to bring some!

I really wanted to check out this coffee shop since I was already at the market! It was a little hard to find (tucked in an alley way next to the Gum Wall) but helped to hide away from the rain. I wanted to try something new and ordered the Barista Special - an iced or hot latte with orange, chai, brown sugar rose and ginger milk (sub with oatmilk). Unfortunately was not a huge fan, kinda tasted like soap :/ I'm curious to try their other drinks since I've heard good things about their Mystery Mocha and Salty Nut Latte!

This place and so cute!! Had a salty nut coffee and it was good just didn't taste salty to me. And the girl was nice and sweet.

First time and I got the turmeric mocha! It was pretty good. Very earthy. Also didn't give me crazy gerd symptoms even though I got a large lol. It's right next to the gum wall. Service was also good! :)

Despite the super long line this place is definitely a must try! The staff is super friendly, the line goes quickly, and the coffee is great. They have super fun flavors and they also sell bubble gum to stick on the gum wall next door. We went back twice in one weekend because we enjoyed it so much the first time!

Definitely one of the coolest and most unique coffee spots I've ever been to. I was wandering the market with some friends in visiting town and was neeeeeeding caffeine so desperately, but wasn't feeling any of the coffee I was seeing in the market. I like to wander luckily and found this spot tucked UNDER the market, next to the gum wall. The baristas were literally so cool and nice, this is definitely a ~literal~ hidden gem if you appreciate coffee and/or spooky vibes!

Cute coffee shop alert! If you're in Seattle and looking for some tasty coffee then you need to check this place out. Located below Pikes Place Market it has a really fun atmosphere while you're getting your coffee, tea or chai fill. I came here for the first time while visiting my sister and this is her favorite coffee shop and well now it's one of mine too. We ordered Almond flavored lattes that definitely had really nice flavor to them and a chai which has me ready for fall. Don't miss a chance to check out this cute shop with really friendly staff!

A bit hard to find but so worth it! The staff is very laid back and friendly, which makes for a very nice vibe in what is next to the (icky) infamous Gum Wall. I ordered the Salted Nut, which has caramel syrup, smoked salts in a hazelnut latte. It was very delightful; I always appreciate when the flavor of syrup is not too overwhelming and is more of a compliment to the espresso itself. The salt further helped balance out the sweetness from the caramel and hazelnut. My boyfriend went with the Smog, earl grey tea, with vanilla, milk, and espresso. He enjoyed his drink as well. Later on in the afternoon we came back and shared a small cold brew. I believe it was called "barrel whiskey cold brew" on the menu. It was very tasty and refreshing. We enjoyed our experience at Ghost Alley so much that we decided to grab some drinks right before leaving for our flight back home! The Salted Nut and Smog came out just as delicious as the first time! They definitely get bonus points for consistency and always kind staff, even when they are busy. Two other things to note are that they have non dairy milk alternatives (we ordered our drinks with oat milk) and that they sell the cutest stickers. I love collecting stickers from coffee shops so I had to buy one before I left. Definitely check out Ghost Alley when you are in Seattle!

After visiting the gum wall, get a delicious "mystery mocha" coffee One of my favorite coffee experiences! They ask you questions about scary movies and movie monsters And make a special mocha! Unique. Craft. Entertaining. Spooky! Only offer a walk up window for ordering. No tables or chairs available! I would rate this as a must visit place while in Seattle Located in Gum Wall Alley!!! There's no shortage of coffee shops in Seattle, but if you're looking for a unique coffee experience, I'd recommend Ghost Alley Espresso. This tiny cafe lives up to its name - it's located in a dark alleyway below Pike's Place Market, right next to the famous Gum Wall. The cafe has no indoor seating; you place your order at a window and enjoy your drink outside. The menu offers the usual espresso and tea beverages, as well as some specialty items like the turmeric mocha. I decided to go for the full experience and ordered the Mystery Mocha. When ordering the Mystery Mocha, the barista asked me a series of questions (I won't list them here to avoid spoiling the surprise) and then made me a flavored mocha based on my responses - I think I ended up with a hazelnut mocha, which was delicious. The experience was fun and memorable, and I appreciated the personal touch. I definitely recommend checking this place out the next time you're at Pike's Place Market.

Little coffee shop right by the gum wall! Hidden downstairs under the public market. There isn't really seats for you to sit and enjoy. However they do sell gum so you can add contribution to the wall. We got a few different thing, espresso, some tea and latte mix. Everything was good and staff was very friendly. Service was great even though the line was pretty long.

They asked me a few questions, such as allergies, what kind of flavor I prefer, and what animal would I be that day to inspire the drink. I really enjoyed the drink. They have other fun creations that I would love to try next time I'm in the area.
