The 18 Best Restaurants & Bars In Joshua Tree - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you’re staying in the Flamingo Heights area, a long, lazy lunch at La Copine is a given. At night though, things quiet down—save for Giant Rock Meeting Room. This divey pizzeria has a big patio facing west to watch the sunset over the mountains, and a tchotcke-filled bar where everyone hangs out after dark.  Expect to see a honky-tonk singer in the corner, a bald eagle live cam on the TV for some reason, and regulars swapping plumbing tips. The nightly show pairs well with  a draft beer and the Spicy Bee Boy pizza with sausage, ricotta, and hot honey." - brant cox

The Best Restaurants and Bars Near Joshua Tree National Park | Eater LA

"Giant Rock Meeting Room is one of the coolest places to get food in the entire high desert, thanks to its rustic Western aesthetic (the desert kitsch is part of the reason to visit alone) and stage for live bands. Find wine, pizzas, occasional pop-ups, and lots of locals hanging out inside or on the porch-like patio. The Foxy’s Favorite sandwich is a regulars’ go-to with turkey, Gouda, Bartlett pear, Dijon, mayonnaise, tomato, and greens on hearty pumpernickel bread." - Matthew Kang

We’d heard awesome things about their pizza, so we had to check it out—and it did *not* disappoint. We tried the Fresh Mess and it was insanely good—super fresh and full of flavor. The cocktails and beer were great too. The vibe inside is really cool, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They’ve got both indoor and outdoor seating, so it’s perfect no matter the weather. Definitely a must-visit spot!

After driving by here countless times, we decided to stop in for lunch on our way home from Palm Springs to Big Bear Lake. Oh. My. Goodness. The food was incredible (meatball sandwich, two pepperoni pizzas (one with sausage), and a Mushy Tina). Fabulous & friendly service. Great choice of beverages. Couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience. We'll be back. Definitely worth the hour drive from home.

Artisan pizza in a cool venue with some good service and some good drinks. Got a pizza and a salad, both were quite good. The pizzas are fun and different at times. They have a nice beer selection and a greaaat name.

Fresh ingredients, prepared with care. Highly recommend the calzone. Great atmosphere. Locals and travelers passing through. Beer on tap. You’re paying for a quality meal. 10/10

Don't pass on going here! Great food choices although somewhat limited but very well done. Service was stretched a little but was still very attentive.

Perfect place. No notes. Food, ambiance, service. All of it. Worth a trip to the high desert just to sit at their bar.

Incredible little spot just outside of Joshua Tree! my husband, pup & I visit Joshua tree a lot for an easy low key vacay and I am so happy to add this place to our roster. Popped in for an early Friday lunch & sat on the patio with our doggy. Food and drinks were great, and our server Stevie Ray was an absolute sweetheart. We had an arugula salad w homemade tahini honey lemon dressing, brisket sammich thingy on a freshly made baguette, some beers and a $10 shot of Arette blanco tequila cus why not lol. Super chill spot, fresh bomb food, Cant wait to go back :)

I traveled almost 1000 miles just for this pizza! So let’s start with the atmosphere, it has an amazing warm and friendly feeling to it. You can take a table and feel like a local without being one. People treat you quite pleasantly. Now the service, the whole staff went above and beyond making sure everything was right, from the order all the way to the quality of the food. They didn’t miss one beat even with as packed as the place was. Now the food!!! I love a good pepperoni pizza and it was over the top amazing! Let’s just say that I will have to make a trip back next year just for the pizza! Well worth the trip
