TulsaPeople spotlighted owner Gigi Tan for her hands‑on approach and Cantonese roots. Expect hand‑cut wide noodles, classic wok dishes, and a personal touch that keeps loyal locals coming back.

Google
I think we just found our new favorite spot for Chinese food in Tulsa! Huge menu, everything is good and well-executed. We dined in, and the space was clean and tidy. The food presentation was cute, too. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Great experience and can’t wait to go back to keep trying new things!

Google
This is the best Asian food we've had in Oklahoma so far and we've been here 3 years! Absolutely delicious. Our waiter was SO nice and attentive! Between the food, our waiter, the atmosphere AND the cleanliness of this place, we will most definitely be back!

Google
I hadn’t ever been here and only ran in because I was next door for an errand. Was in a hurry and saw on their sign they had sushi. I wanted something light and easy. Went thru the menu and there was no sushi. When I asked the waitress, she said they don’t have sushi. So I just got some egg drop soup and wontons. The egg drop soup taste was good but was barely warm. The wonton was greasy but had a great taste. Restaurant seemed clean. Prices were fair. Just wasn’t what I was looking for. They need to change their restaurant sign or put a note on the window saying they no longer do sushi.

Google
Delicious Chinese food, but I became sick shortly after sadly. My wife is Chinese, and she liked the food but it was a bit greasy. My broccoli beef was great, and the young lady waiting our table was very nice. The pricing was good also, definitely somewhere to try. My wife loved the hot and sour soup.

Google
3rd time ordering. Ordered dinner, including egg drop soup on Friday, Feb 7. Bit into something hard. I found 3 pieces of broken tempered glass. I'm guessing it was from a shattered pot lid. I feel like if there's any chance glass could have made it into food, you should discard it. I'm pretty sad about it, the previous times, the food was good. But I don't want to eat random things that make it into their food, including glass. I won't be back.

Google
Love this little place. Food is always hot and fresh. Friendly staff, too!

Google
My neighbor and I love this place, and I’ve brought my parents here when they visit. It is a family favorite for sure. One of my personal favorites is the Singapore Spicy Chicken. Their hot green tea is okay, but it’s pricy at $4.50! The aforementioned Singapore chicken is $9, and you get a nice portion. The atmosphere is very nice. It’s clean, inviting, and relatively modern without feeling cold. The owners and employees are all very nice and seem to take pride in their product and service here. The serving dishes are a great touch too—very aesthetic!

Google
Had beef fried rice twice now. Meat tastes very fresh and of good quality, not dry or chewy like some other places, but very tender and juicy. Good flavor, smokey note to the overall dish. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
I've visited GiGi's a couple of times while in Tulsa for business since it's conveniently close to my hotel. This time, we ordered the salt-baked chicken and the fish fillets in spicy sauce. The chicken was tender and moist, with just the right level of saltiness to bring out its natural flavor. The fish fillets came in a rich red chili oil sauce, flavorful and moderately spicy. Topped with fresh green onions, it's a bold and satisfying dish for anyone who enjoys a bit of heat. GiGi's Chinese Cuisine is a casual restaurant with a simple, traditional look. It is clean and comfortable, and the service is friendly. It's a solid choice for authentic Chinese food in Tulsa.

Yelp
Pros: We haven't eaten here in a while so I didn't know what to order for myself. I ordered food for my husband off the American menu. Beef with broccoli, extra spicy. There is a Chinese menu with pictures. I saw a picture of something with tofu and bok choy. I love those things! I asked the kid what it was and he said it was a special off menu thing that one of their other customers gets. Braised tofu with bok choy. that other customer gets chicken, but I'm not a huge chicken fan. It was delicious!!! I will definitely be back next week. Cons: there are so many menus for this place! It took me a while to study all three menus to figure out what I wanted. I was really contemplating the Japanese menu, but I've never had Japanese food from this place.

Yelp
Been meaning to go try this restaurant since we moved to Tulsa, we finally made it over there this evening and are so glad we did! Our server was so sweet and attentive, the food came out hot and fresh and was large portions. The beef with hot chili oil was perfect on a cold and cloudy evening. The ambience was very relaxing, low light (but not too low), relaxing music and not too noisy. Lychee tea and Coconut tea were both very refreshing and not overly sweet. Great spot, will definitely be back!

Yelp
Love the spicy chili fish and Malaysian noodle! Gigi and Tony are always so nice and friendly. This place is more about people and memories than delicious foods.

Yelp
I've always driven past this restaurant for years but have never been in so we decided to try lunch here. I got the wonton soup and crab wontons. The soup broth had so much flavor! I would get it again. My boyfriend got some sort of combo that came with a small side of sesame chicken. That was the beast sesame chicken I've ever had! I would come back just for that too! In fact, I've been craving it since we left! They have all kinds of boba drinks that I need to try too! Our waiter was the son of the owner. He said his mom (owner) is currently in China right now. He was very nice and attentive. While we were there, there was a birthday party going on and service was still fast and friendly. I don't know why I never came to this place up until now. But I'll be back!

Yelp
Fairly slow night inside dining. Carry out orders were frequent. The restaurant, tables, bathrooms are clean. Service was friendly, and the food came out quick . We shared a bowl of a drop soup, dumpling appetizers, and G7 "2 birds" entree. Every bite was delicious and looking forward to exploring the menu more next time. $40 including tip at the door. One star deduct for extremely cold inside, and Server could not help .

Yelp
I have been looking for a place that sells traditional Chinese noodle soup, the kind often being depicted in many historical Chinese series as late night street noodles. When I saw the menu online listed beef ramen soup with homemade ramen noodle, I immediately knew I have to stop by. I was disappointed to hear that GiGi no longer homemake ramen noodle. Instead, premade egg noodle is used. Nevertheless, I am so glad I came in and gave this establishment a try. Doing so, I've found my new favorite Chinese restaurant in Tulsa. Even though the beef tendon egg noodle soup is not the traditional Chinese homemade ramen soup I was looking for, it is deliciously amazing. It's probably GiGi's most technical entree on the menu as the beef tendon is cooked for 4-5 hours. The beef tendons taste so great, so soft for being tendons. I love that the tendons are cut in chunks that they still resemble the texture of beef tendons. Gigi told me that after after beef tendons are cooked, they are then frozen until being use. I can't imagine how delicious the beef tendons must have been if they weren't frozen. The broth is very flavorful, more than at any other places I've tried. Love it! The steamed dumplings are just as equally impressive and simply taste divine. I like the vinegary sour taste of the soy sauce as it compliments the dumplings well. But where is my chili oil. The appetizer would have been even more perfect if the sauce has some chili oil. One thing I do not like is the hot tea. Where's my teapot and tea cup, the traditional Asian way for hot tea. Restaurant is fairly slow, only one other occupied table besides me which is surprising because it has Chinese noodle soup that is simply amazing. I would encourage everyone to try the beef tendon noodle soup.

Yelp
Thanks for making my birthday relaxed and special! I had a party of 15 and ordered many dishes that were delicious. That authentic Kung Pao chicken is so good and really spicy. You have to order the authentic version. The Taiwanese duck was so tasty just the way I like it. The fish with pickled veggies is a star. Many of my guests had never had it before and were pleasantly surprised how much they enjoyed it. In my experience the dish is not something most people would normally order. The pork spareribs with black bean sauce were delicious. If you're going to order it, it will take 24 minutes. The Hunan shrimp was yummy. The Malaysian mee goreng noodle dish was exceptional. The beef tendon was very tender. They had some yummy dishes for my vegan friends too - although I would double check regarding the egg and use of chicken broth on dishes. That braised tofu was spicy and good. The rice noodle dish was tasty but they didn't take out the egg so they had to eat around it. The lotus with veggies was also so tasty but I'm not sure if they used chicken broth. Tony also gave some complimentary Chinese desserts that were not too sweet. Such a great experience that made my birthday special. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great little family run Asian restaurant. Huge selection of authentic Chinese dishes and Americanized favorites.

Lourdes G.

Yelp
The place is cozy, friendly staff and prompt service. The food was delicious. Everything we ordered was tasty and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service, the atmosphere was terrific. The lamb was tender and well prepared

Yelp
A unique name for a Chinese restaurant but definitely one of the better Chinese food restaurants located in the area. We had fried potstickers (stick with the steamed) they were just ok. The sesame chicken was stringy and not very good. The broccoli beef was tasty and tender. The Kung Pao chicken was seasoned with red chili oil and had a nice "bite." The best dish surprisingly was the fried rice with beef. The rice was cooked perfectly and the beef was melt in your mouth tender. We would definitely come back again.

Marc C.

Yelp
This is my favorite Chinese cuisine restaurant. The food is full of flavor with friendly staff and delicious fried rice which is probably my favorite thing on the menu

Yelp
Just a little Chinese/Sushi cafe but 2 thumbs up to fresh, clean and delicious food. They weren't serving sushi at the time we dined but the Chinese dishes we ordered were so flavorful & clean. Food served in beautiful designed bowls. Our server was very pleasant and all smiles Happy customers from Victoria, Texas!

Yelp
Love this place. Love the food. Outstanding soups and broths. I live on the C menu which is supposed to be traditional dishes, a little more exotic than beef broccoli. I have tried C-15 beef in chili oil and C-19 Spicy chicken with pepper. These dishes are hot AF, and by far the spiciest, hottest flavor I have found in Tulsa OK. So good. See photos. I crave it at home. Strip mall, hole in the wall, horrible lack of decor or design, huge fans blowing at jet engine strength, but the food is amazing.

Yelp
After their re-model for a more modern and updated look last year, including a brand new sushi bar, Gigi's restaurant still serves a good mix of Chinese food and Japanese sushi and sashimi. The owner, Gigi, is still cooking her delicious Chinese rice, noodle, and dumpling dishes or making barbequed eel for the sushi rolls back in the kitchen. You can choose to sit at one of their sit-down tables where the waiters are friendly, fast and efficient at their service, or you can sit and relax at the sushi bar while watching the sushi chefs make your custom sushi rolls or sashimi fresh. Some of our favorite Chinese dishes are the beef fried flat noodles, beef tendon clay pot, sliced beef in chili sauce, and steamed ribs in black bean sauce. Now if you're in the mood for Japanese food, they can make beautifully presented Bento boxes and sushi boats. They also have specials, a good variety of desserts like mochi ice cream, and a wine and sake menu. Overall, this is definitely a place worth trying at least once or twice!

Yelp
My husband and I thought this place was really bad. Dan got fried beef flat noodles, which was oily and we had a difficult time finding any beef. I got a tempura bento box which came without traditional dipping sauce. There was a tiny amount of sauce, but not adequate for the amount of tempura. It came with a salad without dressing. The bento box included 2 tempura shrimp, various tempura veggies, and something that resembled thin fish sticks in an oval shape. I love how they were able to create atmosphere with a small space. Unfortunately, I don't love their food. We thought the prices were pretty high, too.

Yelp
Authentic Chinese food. Ordered two vegetarian dishes and both were savory and fresh. Portions are good.

Yelp
We have eating here several times now. We love it! Each time I try something different and have not been disappointed. I do always get a couple of Hot & Sour soup. They make the best! Their service is always great. The restaurant is clean.

Yelp
Wonderful place. I enjoyed everything! The wontons were piping hot and super fresh. The dough was delightfully crispy and light at the same time. The seafood noodles were delicious. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and plentiful, definitely worth the menu price. We also tried the Shaggy Dog roll off the sushi menu, and it's one of my favorite rolls I've ever had. Can't wait to have it again! The atmosphere is welcoming, in a clean, slick, modern environment. Definitely a gem hidden in plain sight!
google avatar

Yelp
Good chinese food at affordable prices. Went there with 2 other friends and we ordered Happy Gigi and braised tofu. Very delicious and the portions were plenty for 3 of us. Happy Gigi has chicken, beef and shrimp stir fried with vegetables in a brown sauce, and the Braised tofu is braised in a beam sauce with broccoli added. I've gone back a few times since and ordered Happy Gigi for myself.

Yelp
We have tried nearly every Chinese restaurant in Tulsa and been pretty disappointed with all of them (I don't I know if Mandarin Taste was having an off night the night we tried it but the dish I got was actively revolting -- maybe the worst thing I've ever eaten in my life). Gigi's is the first Chinese place we would return to! Quiet, low key, friendly service, tasty food. The Kung Pao and General Tso's chicken were both standouts. I'll be back and definitely recommend!

Yelp
I made my first trip here last week after driving by this intersection several times over the years and now kicking myself for not coming in sooner. Walked in and got take out after searching yelp and decided to get the happy gigi and the beef flat noodles as they seem the most popular on the menu. The staff was really nice and friendly. The food was fresh and done fast. Its a little more expensive than your average chinese take out, but the quality definatly makes up for it. I will definitely be back in the near future to dine in and enjoy the sushi. This is a classic must try restaurant in Tulsa, if you like asian food.

Susanne C.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Asian food. Wonderful flavor, quality ingredients, generous portions all at a reasonable price. Friendly service.
google avatar

Kristi O.

Yelp
It was my first time trying this place and I really liked it. They had great dishes and my friend got the flat beef noodles and I also should have gotten that because it's what I wanted but I tried the Ramen with chicken. Both were good but my friends was definitely the better of the two and I will be back to get that. Both our meals were only $10 and we got the crab raccoon as well as the steam dumplings. The crab Ragu was great the steamed dumplings were just OK. This place also had sushi that looks wonderful I can't wait to come back and try more food.

Yelp
Food is very yummy & good priced for the amount that you get. I wish they had the calories on their menu since they use a slogan "healthy cooking". This place is now in my lunch rotation spots. Online hours are not accurate. I tried calling in for a pickup at 1:50 (online closing at 2:30) and it rang and rang (never went to voicemail) stopped by to see if maybe they were too busy to get to the phone and the "open" sign was on but the doors were locked. Inside is very cute!
google avatar

Spike S.

Yelp
Apparently, not a very popular lunch spot. And, the lack of customers at lunch hour today backs that statement up. At 12:15 there were two customers, when we left at 1:00PM there were six. It is certainly not a popular lunch spot. Three complaints that I have read from other reviewers that I concur with: 1) their business hours are sporadic 2) the sauce is oily and 3) and the food is lacking in spice. This is our second attempt to eat here. A few months ago we arrived at 2:30 they were closed. The oil in our Hunan dishes was excessive. And finally this was Hunan, but it lacked spice. The meal comes with a cup of egg drop soup. My wife got that, but it was more like a half cup, and average in taste. I substituted Hot and Sour soup for an extra $3. It was different and fairly enjoyable. It had a good variety of ingredients including chicken meat. The heat in it came from Sriracha sauce that gave it a slightly red color. The Hunan dishes had plenty of vegetables and a fair serving of meat, but even though the sauce tasted good it lacked the spicy hotness you expect get from Hunan dishes. There were no peppers in either meal. My wife picked up the pepper shaker to season her egg drop soup and let out a "yuck!" Judging from the buildup of grime on the outside I would guess that they had not been wiped off since the day that had been placed on the table (when the restaurant first opened.) Service average. You can easily find better Chinese in Tulsa which includes some of the buffets.

Corbin M.

Yelp
We love this place! One of the things we miss most about living in Tulsa. Great Kung Pao Chicken and hot chili fish (if you like spicy)

Yelp
1 star: I've tried to eat at this place several times but because of their lack of a clear updated menu, I've always given up on trying their food. Once I finally got ahold of them through their new phone number, I asked for a vegetarian option and ended up giving me some soggy tofu smothered in 1 & 1/2 inches of oil with zero veggies! How does this place stay in business?! If you like decent healthy food, steer clear of this place. Update: I was about to throw my spicy tofu take out in the trash but a part of me decided to give it a chance and to my surprise the oil sauce is mega packed with a spicy garlicky salty flavor. This turned my 1 star instantly to 3. HOWEVER, the dish didn't come with anything other than the soggy tofu and a small cup of steamed rice. This dish needs major portion corrections. This dish should be made up of half steamed veggies, 1/4 of extra firm tofu and 1/4 of the spicy oil. It also wouldn't hurt to give a little more rice.

Yelp
Highly recommended and I plan to eat here regularly! I've stopped by GiGi's several times over the past few months and the service and food have consistently been exceptional. GiGi's offers Chinese and Japanese cuisine, and the menu has a lot of choices. My favorites are the volcano and rainbow rolls. The service is fast, friendly and professional. If you visit during a slow period (COVID-19 has slowed down the dine-in business), you'll find the staff is a pleasure to talk to. The atmosphere is casual and the furniture is comfortable and attractive. A tv behind the sushi bar plays music at a normal volume and customers are able to have private conversations at their tables. Every time I've stopped in to eat, there have been a lot of DoorDash and Grubhub drivers picking up orders, so apparently a lot of people are eating sushi at home now. During this COVID-19 situation, the staff wears personal protective equipment (PPE) and like all other restaurants in Tulsa, customers wear masks when entering the building.

Yelp
Amazing food! Great customer service! Everything about this place is incredible. When I moved to Tulsa area a year ago from California, I was really disappointed to find very few sushi restaurants that actually serve fresh, high quality fish. I've eaten at many here and in surrounding areas and this is by far the best. Our server was so nice and attentive. Thankyou for this delicious food! We will be back.

Yelp
Came intrigued by a new Chinese/sushi place so close to home...but left utterly blown away! We had the steamed cream buns (appetizer), the ShaCha Beef entree, the caterpillar roll, and the popcorn crawfish roll. Everything was amazing. All of it. The cream buns were like little clouds of heaven. The beef was lean, tender, and came in a flavorful and complimenting sauce with perfectly cooked broccoli. The accompanying fried rice was Teppan table fresh. The rolls were light, amazingly presented, and full of fresh ingredients and the fried elements were light, not greasy and wonderful. Then to top it off, the service was quick and the people were delightful. Even our eleven year old was blown away with every single dish...we had to stop him from stuffing himself silly. We were so impressed we even bought two additional meals to bring home...more of the beef and a new treat to try, the Kung Pao Chicken. Sneaking a bite of the chicken--cause I had to--I now can't wait for lunch. It is literally the best Kung Pao I have ever tasted. And it's so close......YAY! Highly recommend, if that wasn't obvious.

Yelp
We had a great experience at GiGi's! We went during a happy hour event so basic rolls were 1/2 off and specialty rolls were BOGO 1/2 off. What we ordered is all pictured aside from the melon drink and steamed dumplings. The presentation was all fantastic and the service was great. They were friendly and attentive and the general atmosphere was cozy and clean. For all of those things, I would give 5 stars but there were a few disappointments. The spicy tuna roll was very mediocre to me. I didn't like the addition of the cucumber and avocado (most spicy tuna rolls I get are just spicy tuna inside). The caterpillar roll was pretty standard. The sauce for the dumplings was not good. The steamed buns were just okay. The biggest disappointment though, was the most expensive roll we ordered, the Hot Mama, which was very blah tasting. The menu is also confusing in that it has fried rolls listed and "deep fried" rolls listed separately. I assumed, because of this, that maybe the fried rolls just had fried elements such as tempura in them but it was also deep fried. I will definitely go back again, I will just choose different things next time. Edit: I noticed that in the photos of the menu on yelp, the hot mama is listed under "deep fried" but that was not the case for the menu I ordered from in the restaurant for whatever reason...? I am 100% sure of it.

J C.

Yelp
Quaint little mom & pop place that can be easily overlooked. Don't miss it! Did is excellent and the people are so nice!
google avatar

Yelp
The sushi is excellent! Also tried an entree from the Chinese menu which was absolutely delicious. The staff and ownership are welcoming, kind, and attentive. Love this place!

Dee V.

Yelp
This was fantastic! I have lived down the block for a few years and always wanted to try this place. Well, I am ashamed I have missed out on this gem ! Quaint and fresh and tasty! We had the Poke Salad, Light Sushi Roll and Spicy Fish with hot tea! Jackie- our server was very helpful with helping us with the menu since this was our first trip here. His suggestions for our taste was on point! Well done! Don't let the basic restaurant set up scare you, this is a great treat!

Christy J.

Yelp
I tried their beef flat noodles and they were delicious and not spicy. The portion was so big I asked for a to go box immediately and had two lunches sfterward

Angela A.

Yelp
We were charged extra for paying with credit card without any. Notice posted anywhere, it's not the few dollars more it's the principal of conducting business , I have never been any restaurants have to pay credit card fees

Yelp
I saw a review on this from Tulsa World & what caught my attention wasn't the review itself, but a dish that was described. The Pineapple Seafood Fried Rice. Fried rice, pineapple, shrimp & other seafood components. Sounds pretty standard, right? Well, it was described to be served inside of a pineapple that's scooped out. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Outside of the fact that it wasn't served in a pineapple, I don't know if it's a lunch thing (I went for dinner) or if I just caught them at the wrong time. By all means, I was slightly disappointed but it didn't take away from the fact that the food itself was good. Very flavorful. Their rice was good, I wonder what they cooked it in because it didn't taste like your average rice. Adding Sriracha to the mix doesn't hurt as well.
google avatar

Paige H.

Yelp
Our favorite spot in town. Don't skip out on the Shaggy Dog or Tulsa roll! You won't regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is so good. It isn't the basic takeout that is all over the place. I haven't had any Chinese food Better than this. My wife and I go here often and haven't ever been disappointed.

Norm M.

Yelp
Visited for lunch and was truly blown away by the variety and massive flavors Gigi and her husband delivered. Kung Pao Chicken unlike any I've tasted. Ever. Heading back for dinner tonight.

Matthew L.

Yelp
Best traditional Chinese I've had in Tulsa ! Will definitely be my regular place from here on our

Candyce M.

Yelp
Went with my family to try for the first time the other day expecting sushi because its in the name. But when i asked they said they didnt have sushi anymore? How? its in the name of the restaurant... also i found a gnat in my meal...and the customer service ..dont get me started. would not recommend.

Chuck C.

Yelp
Well crafted dishes. The serving are large and quite flavorful. The service was good. They appear to do a sizable carry out business.

Yelp
5 Star. I first got hooked on the Beef fried flat noodles, then i asked them to make the same dish with chicken and i found it to be even better. Now when i go in, if Kate is my waitress, I just ask her to bring me something, whatever she thinks i will like. I have not been disappointed yet and i have learned that virtually everything on the menu is excellent. I think she gets a little kick out of doing it that way too. My absolute favorite place to eat in Tulsa. Go at least once a week. Should have my own parking place.
google avatar

Christopher H.

Yelp
First time to eat here and the food was absolutely amazing. We had the Jade specials and Beef flat noodles.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place and the owners. I don't want everyone to find out it's there! So please only go when I'm not there ok? I often do take out and all is fresh and delicious there. Plenty of food for little money. You have to try it.

Neal N.

Yelp
This is a great story. I went GiGi's with my girlfriend for a good, casual dinner. We were given menus and soon after, got our drinks. We decided to get an appetizer first, giving us time to look at the menu. (This is the good part of the story) The server told me she couldn't put the appetizer order in first because it's too hard on the kitchen folk.... Whew, glad she told me it's too hard on the kitchen to give me an appetizer before my meal because that was my ultimate goal for the evening, making them happy. I realize now that I should have asked if I needed to do my own dishes too. Think I'll make my own from now on.
