Gigi’s Doughnuts is a fully vegan spot with a welcoming touch—Gigi herself is incredibly sweet and offers great service. While the doughnuts were a bit lacking in flavor for my taste, they’re still worth trying, especially if you want to support a small business with a passion for plant-based treats. If you’re in the area, give them a shot!

INCREDIBLE vegan donuts. Absolutely must visit whether you’re plant based or not - I had the coconut chocolate and the strawberry cheesecake. Hot chocolate was perfect and Gigi is a sweetheart ❤️

Fabulous new, small business addition to East Harlem! Gigi provides delightful service along with a creative selection of delectable artisanal/vegan doughnuts and organic coffees & drinks. A welcome presence to the neighborhood!

The owner is very nice and works hard every morning at 2 AM to make fresh dough, dressing, and homemade ingredients for their coffee and chai (freshly brewed and grounded). The donut holes were the best product I tried - they were so soft and melts into your mouth like butter. They have mojito and vanilla-icing (regular) donut holes - I purchased the small box of regular holes.

Gigi’s Donuts are always great! Gigi herself is friendly and remembers your name when you walk in. The donuts are freshly made and taste great, I’m not even vegetarian but I love her vegan options. Going to get donuts from Gigi’s has become a weekend ritual for my fiancée and I. Definitely would recommend!

Donut flavors were excellent, really delicious!I got the Chai and my friend got vanilla and both were so so good. Clearly made with love and care. Coffee was a watery but the chai was homemade and very good! The woman working there was super kind and gracious. Def recommend snagging a few and enjoying them in Marcus Garvey which is just a few blocks away. :)

These doughnuts are ON POINT! They are fried perfectly to get that crispy bite on the outside with a soft, slightly chewy center. The dough is clearly homemade. You can tell Gigi is passionate about getting the smallest details of the recipes just right, to make a fantastic finished product. She’s also super sweet and takes customer service seriously. + The vanilla glazed is the perfect simple, tasty treat. The glaze compliments the dough so perfectly- and again, that perfect texture of crispy outside and soft chewy center. So freaking good, it was hard to not eat more! + The Peanut Gallery is awesome for peanut butter lovers! The filling is well balanced with lots of peanut butter deliciousness and not overly sweet. +The Mojito is bright and refreshing, very mint forward. She nailed the flavor profile on this one. +The Blueberry Cheesecake was also well balanced. The vegan cream cheese glaze paired perfectly with the delicious blueberry jam filling. I love that the flavors and sweetness on all of them were balanced. I think that’s why they’re crave-able, because they aren’t sugar bombs, just flavor bombs. If you’re hesitant to try these after you read that they are vegan- let me help you get over that. Most yeast/dough based doughnuts are vegan, they just don’t advertise it. A cake donut is probably the only exception to the vegan rule. Even buttercream icings/fillings are vegan these days too, so you won’t feel like you’re missing anything. :) Gigi- Well done! It was worth the wait, as we watched your space transform over the last few months. Can’t wait to see your business grow and try all the creative flavors you bring to the neighborhood! P.S. These are better than the doughnuts we had hand made and freshly fried at our wedding (instead of cake)!

Gigi was so sweet and her donuts were wonderful! I am usually not a donut person but these are an exception. The mojito donut was delicious and the donut holes melted in my mouth!

What a wonderful donut shoppe!!!! Gigi's has some of the best Artisanal Donuts in NYC!! These donuts are made with so much love and passion and worth every single bite!! The Matcha-Strawberry glazed is my favorite!!! So cute in pink and green!! ... she does a killer Chai latte too!!!! Additionally, Gigi is a wonderful person who really gives 110% in everything she offers! We love her passion and enthusiasm for these bite-sized gems! The next time you're in Harlem on 118th and 5av; be sure to check out her amazing Donuts !!!! ..... the treadmill can wait! Happy Dunking!!

Gigi's doughnuts is a new doughnut shop that recently opened up in the neighborhood. The place is cute, painted in pretty pastel colors. They do all of the baking in-house, so the smell is very appealing. The owner, Gigi, was very welcoming as soon as I walked into the store. She answered all of my questions about the menu and explained the ingredients. In addition to doughnuts, they also serve coffee and tea. All of the doughnuts are vegan, which is great for those looking for a vegan bakery option. I decided to go with the Le mon glazed doughnut. The Le mon doughnut was a nice combination of sweet and tart flavors. I am looking forward to trying out the doughnut holes and other flavors.

The strawberry frosted donut reminded me of my childhood in the best way possible + Gigi was so nice! So glad this place is in the neighborhood and look forward to coming back soon.

Don't let the average size fool you. These (vegan) donuts pack a strong punch! The strawberry cheesecake donut was delicious. Hopefully they'll get bigger as the customer base grows.

Awesome place! When I walked in there were 4 other people there and the owner knew them all by name and was having small conversations with them about their days. Super friendly and warm atmosphere here. Got the matcha strawberry doughnut and it was fresh and fluffy and delicious! Great neighborhood spot.

Gigi warm smile and positive energy welcomes you to her pop-up turned store front off of 5th Ave. The vegan, soy-based donuts are delicious with a solid donut base and ample frosting. The donut cake is light yet solid and maintains its structure with each bite. The frostings are ample, so that the cake is more of a vehicle than a standalone. The coffee uses organic beans and completes the treat. I'd love to taste a plain donut, to try Gigi's take on the original donut to get a better sense of the donut cake itself. I know this place will be hopping on Sunday mornings with those attending church services up the street. It's great to see this shop in the neighborhood, and I'll certainly be back

Gigi's doughnuts are always a treat when I visit Harlem! If you're a fan of doughnuts with fun flavors and fluffy and chewy texture, you'll love Gigi's! She opened fairly recently but is already our go-to spot for breakfast doughnuts in the area. The Le Mon flavor, with its strong acidic lemon flavor topped with candied lemon, is my current favorite!

Just ordered these the vanilla donut holes and the Le Mom and vanilla donut and they were all the best vegan donuts I've ever had! What a great way to start off your day! Great value and the order came to my apt very quickly. Will def be ordering again!

Interesting flavors and the doughnuts are soft, flavorful, and not too sweet; they're also organic and vegan. The peanut doughnut is impressive for its crispy peanuts. I also thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Gigi and learning about her wonderful doughnuts. A great addition to the neighborhood!

Wow! Picked up donuts this morning for a colleague's birthday (who has a soy allergy) - and these are SO SO good! You would never know they are vegan and soy-free. The flavors are incredible - and there are a nice variety. Will absolutely be getting again!

AMAZING PERIOD!!! I went to Gigi's for the first time today and it was the most lovely and sweet experience. Gigi greeted me so warmly and welcomed me as it was my first time visiting her lovely shop...she explained with such care the beautiful donuts that were available. You can tell the pride she takes in her masterful donuts for sure! And completely understandable after you taste them!!!! We did an assortment and I couldn't be happier!!!! The Strawberry Cheesecake Donut is something I cannot describe ...the texture ...the flavors....beyond amazing!!!! I also LOVED the citrus which Gigi said was her current favorite...I can see why! The Classic glazed is so beautifully done...not too sweet and so perfect with a cup of tea! I don't think you can go wrong with any choice here...I am so happy to know I have a new go-to place for gifts for friends and special treats for myself...lol... I eat vegan and really am so happy to see Gigi here in East Harlem...we need more vegan eateries for sure so hoping Gigi has started something close by! So happy to support a local business for sure! I crave a good vegan doughnut a lot of the time and to have a new shop open up close to me on Upper West Side, I was so there!!! I never had Gigi's doughnuts before but boy am I glad I bought 2 that day. They seriously melt in your mouth. I put the second one in my fridge and it was great the next day. The owner was so pleasant and friendly. I willll be here often, but Gigi I sure can't wait to see the flavor options rotated with some of the ones on your website, since right now it's only a select few flavors every day. If you could somehow post the flavors of the day on your website or instagram it would be helpful!

The donuts here are soooo good. Hard to eat just one. I go almost weekly to pick up the donut holes. We've had mojito, strawberry, lemon, and orange so far and each one has been phenomenal! Can't wait to try more!

We stopped here while in the area on a whim and were so happy we did! Gigi was so kind to us and overall so welcoming. The lemon and strawberry doughnuts were so delicious and we loved the texture as well! The coffee was great too, and we loved that everything was vegan and still just as delicious. Definitely worth the stop :)

Donuts were great!! I got the mojito flavored donut which was tasty and such a unique flavor I thought. Owner was kind and took the time to explain each flavor in-depth. Definitely recommend!
