If you haven’t tried GiGi’s Pizza yet… what are you even doing with your life? 😄 Because, when my daughter announced she was treating us to pizza, I’ll admit… I wasn’t exactly doing cartwheels. I’m not usually a big pizza fan. But, OMG! - Gigis is serving up the tastiest, juiciest, most mouth-watering New York–style pizza this side of the Atlantic. The Tomato & Vodka pizza is outrageously good — rich, saucy, and the kind of slice that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate it. We had an amazing Pepperoni one too. Just as delicious! (Made to order by the slice, quarter, half or whole!!) Safe to say, my daughter’s “treat” turned into my new favourite pizza spot. If you think you’re not a pizza person — try this place. You might just surprise yourself. 🍕 The side salad is simple but spot on — a fresh, herby little reset between slices (because balance, right?). And don’t skip the Pineapple Fizzy drink… sweet, zingy, and the perfect sidekick to a proper NYC slice. Bonus: they sell it by the slice, so you can “just pop in for one” (we all know how that usually ends). 10/10 — this is the kind of pizza place you’ll be “accidentally” visiting on a very regular basis. Will be back for more!!!

Delicious pizza. Great crispy base with perfectly cooked dough. Garlic dip was top notch too! Average wait time for freshly cooked pizza. Individuals as well as groups of people between 3-7 were easily catered for during our time there. P.s. don't judge the look of the cheese-less pizza, it was divine. (Onion and hot honey).

Swung by here to grab a slice of pizza when heading in to the centre. Pizza was delicious, good to get it by the slice. Range of toppings etc. A suggestion would be to look at a way of speeding up takeaway by the slice. We had to wait behind table orders for whole pizza, we only wanted a slice to go. Must be a better way to do that. Otherwise yummy - just expect a wait if they're busy even for just a slice.

Best pizza in Bristol. Huge lover of by the slice, & they are generous sizes! Incredible crispy base, tasty sauce, salty cheese. I have the mozzarella & Beef Ragu slice and they were delish! Very busy in evenings so be prepared to wait for a seat/slice, but it’s so worth it!!

Pizzas were incred! One of our favourites in Bristol for sure. And, the wine was amazing. However, the person who took our order was very rude to us and didn’t give the warmest of welcomes. We understand it was a busy Saturday evening but from one of us who also works in hospitality this was a shame to experience. We would revisit!

This was my second visit to Gigi - the first time we ordered a full pizza, it came fresh and we went early so no problem with securing a table. This time, we went at 6:30 and it was absolute chaos. We joined the queue with a disgruntled customer in front who had queued to secure a table, and was only then told there’s no table service so he then faced another 20 min queue to order pizza. Communication would’ve easily improved utilisation of tables. We therefore put our name down for a table and then queued separately for pizza whilst we waited. One of us secured a table outside just in case our pizza came first, but when we got to the front of the queue we were told that we were next to have a table on the list, and another couple was leaving. We were ushered to our table, only then for another customer to argue they were first and debate the order of the list. The waitress gave them the table, only to find they’d not even ordered anything yet. Our pizza then arrived and we had nowhere to eat it after giving up the outside table. We ended up wandering around the streets trying to find somewhere to sit as our hotel was quite far away, and by the time we ate it on a wall at the roundabout, it was lukewarm. As we bought by the slice, reheated pizza that had then gone cold meant this had gone from my favourite pizza to average at best, with a seating system that doesn’t work and staff that can’t run the show. Go at lunchtime or early and order a fresh pizza - it’ll be great, but don’t rely on service in busy times as they’re not built for it :(

Some of the best pizza I've had in the UK, probably only behind Gracie's Pizza in St. Albans. The dough 5 stars, cooked to perfection, perfect crisp, crunch on the crust, not soggy, zing in the tomato sauce, and a perfect cheese blend for flavour with no grease. Simply cannot fault the pizza, and the fact the shop is insanely busy speaks volumes. 5/5 Food.
