"Fresh produce from Gilcrease Orchard Las Vegas may be seated in the heart of the Desert Southwest, but there are still a few places to pluck apples from trees and choose the biggest pumpkins from right off the vine. Gilcrease Orchard is one of those places. The orchard is only open seasonally, but when it is open, people descend upon it in herds to get their hands on several varieties of apples, leafy greens, peaches, pears, plums and many row crops. Grab a gallon of the orchard's famous apple cider if you decide to visit! By AFAR Traveler , AFAR Local Expert"

Nice place to visit and spend a little time with family. Wish it was open a little longer to pick stuff and better signs to identify what things are. Can't wait for the apples and donuts oh and sunflowers again.

Google
<3 excellent experience, go as soon as it opens at 7am to enjoy fully in less heat. Take your kids and neighbors kids. There is maze for them to play.

Google
Awesome hidden gem for Las Vegas! Great donuts, picking fields, flower fields, and breakfast options. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Prices were all reasonable and clear. The signs can be a bit sparse, especially as you go further in, so it can be easy to get lost. The online map does not have the rows numbered either. Limited entry days and times make it a little difficult for all to attend, but overall great experience -- we will be back!

Went in the summer for watermelon, come early if you want to get some, they sell out quickly. We will be back during fall to pick pumpkins. Fun walk for those with small children, come early to beat the heat.

The Gilcrease family arrived in Vegas in 1929, end this orchard is all that's left of their 1500 acre holdings. Whether you are there for the Christmas hayrides or Autumn harvest events or picking produce in the spring, it is always enjoyable and a delightful way to spend the day. We have canned tomatoes, and made all types of jams from the fruit and it's always delicious. The workers there love what they do and there are volunteer opportunities as well. Bring water in the spring or summer because it can get hot! I live just down Tenaya from The Orchard and have been going there for years and I hope they're there for many more! 2025 July update: they added sun shade to a few acres of the orchard, and it makes the temperature much nicer for picking, AND the tomatoes and squash aren't sunburnt or dried out. 2 trays of their tomatoes make about 7 qts of canned tomatoes. Delicious!

We always have a fun time here with our kids. It's very budget friendly and we love to get outdoors with our kids when we can and going to the orchard early on a weekend tends to be one of our first choices. We love all of the holiday events as well! Going to pick pumpkins for Halloween and visiting Santa and riding the wagon around the orchard with xmas lights is a yearly tradition for our family. The hot cocoa, hot cider and apple donuts are a must try. So tasty!

Google
Such an awesome place. My son had his first job here and they were so good to him. It gets very busy around holidays so I recommend buying tickets in advance. On busy days wagons may all be taken up. Everything is very cheap and delicious. Donuts and cider are very yummy. I absolutely love their tomatoes!

We left Idaho last year and miss the Fall activities. We are lucky to have discovered Gilcrease and pumpkins in the Fall. We are looking forward to coming to the summer events this year.

Yelp
Local Farm with so many fruits, vegetables, sunflowers, regular flowers, pre-picked green onions, and also peanut butter and honey at check out register. This place is awesome!!! Follow their instagram to keep up with the latest news. They post all the new activities and what seasonal crops are available for picking. Pricing is surprisingly cheap here, I would totally pay for more since it's fresh produce. Arrive by 7am or 8am with gloves and small shovel and scissors to get the best picks and avoid the summer heat. Breakfast food and fresh donuts were delicious! I really want to do their sunflower yoga and other activities. I can't wait to come here in the fall for apples and pumpkins! Gilcrease is the best friendly family fun!

Yelp
I've been here for a couple of events and today was just for picking fruits. It happens to be peach season so I got a quick pic of the active rows. The peaches were fresh, bright, and colorful. In addition we also picked up some tuscon melons, sugarcube melons, and a watermelon. All of the fresh and sweet fruit was $18 The only knock of a star is the limited hours. Only Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday from 7-10

Yelp
We absolutely love this place! Visiting feels like a fun field trip, a relaxing day trip, and a family outing all rolled into one. It's the perfect spot for shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables--and so much more! I recommend coming early so you can take your time and truly enjoy everything it has to offer. We picked up some delicious oil, peanut butter with honey, and the yummiest donuts. Such a treat! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
The Gilcrease Orchard is a great place to get some fresh fruit, veggies, herbs, fresh jam, honey, peanut butter, their famous cake donuts and sunflowers at the Sunflower Garden, etc. Also inside the Orchard is a Bee Exhibit, Chicken Coop, Tortoise Habitat, Straw Maze, Farm Stand, Concessions area and Check Out Station. Live Music at the Concessions area. The Orchard is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7:00am - 10:00am. There is no entry fee unless you want to go to the Sunflower Garden or a special event. Everyone working there were all very helpful and friendly. Ask for available items that are in season and where they are located. I like that they have an App to download to see everything they have at The Orchard. The Sunflower Garden is beautiful right now lots of blooming Sunflowers. Tickets are available to purchase online only. Sunflowers are $2 per stem and shears are provided. We were happy with the three picked out and purchased. A lovely place for pictures. We absolutely captured beautiful pictures. The Summer flavors for the cake donuts are Original, Carrot and Strawberry. They have three different types to choose from like plain, frosted and sugar. We bought two boxes at first: one plain Strawberry donuts and the second was sugar Carrot donuts. The best was the Strawberry cake donuts we had to stop to get another box on the way out. A must place to check out and bring your own scissors to cut the veggies and leafy greens. You could bring your own containers/bags.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! I open the doors to the public at 7am and close at 10am. Need to check the days that they are open on their website before going there. I love going there picking up fresh vegetables and fresh fruits. The service is excellent and they are always willing to help out with any questions about their products. The ambience is beautiful since is outdoors make sure to put sunscreen and bring a hat to protect yourself from the sun.

Yelp
It is a very well organized family friendly experience. Wheelbarrows are provided to use while at the orchard, but you are allowed to bring your own cart. There is a chicken coop with an opportunity to feed the chickens (buy feed from a vending machine and then drop the feed down a PVC tube into the coop). There is also a desert tortoise pen near the chicken coop.

Yelp
Time for my yearly update review for one of my favorite places in Vegas! Gilcrease has become apart of my family tradition, going there every year and picking out our pumpkins and just getting into the fall spirit. I love that every year we go, they change something up to keep it fresh. I also love how much it continues to grow every single year!! This year, what I noticed what was different was that on the hay rides, they had a woman talking and kind of giving a tour during it. I LOOOOOVE that. It was so cool to hear the history behind the place we've gone to for the last several years. I loved that! This year I also went through the corn maze and the straw maze which was super cute. The corn maze was a lot longer than I thought haha. We had such a fun time with friends and honestly if you have never experienced this, you need to. It's worth the drive across town if you live far. We look forward to it every single year!

Yelp
My family and I booked tickets for the Gilcrease Orchard on September 29, the first weekend of Halloween!! This was my family's first time at Gilcrease Orchard! Gilcrease Orchard is located in Northwest Las Vegas, Centennial Hills area. It's a family-friendly adventure! There are a variety of fall activities that you can participate in at Gilcrease Orchard! Check-in was a breeze. I provided the QR code that I had received upon purchasing the tickets online to get checked in! Only one QR code needed to be scanned, even though we purchased 5 tickets! The first thing we did was we had to go get some apple cider donuts! We ended up purchasing a pack of 6 donuts with 2 apple cider drinks! While we waited for the Wagon ride around 9:15 A.M, we ended up eating some donuts! They were freshly made! There was so much cinnamon sugar on the donut. It was still hot! The apple cider was delicious! it was freshly squeezed! I'm so glad we bought 2 apple cider drinks! The wagon ride was so much fun and we learned a lot too! We didn't realize how many animals were at the Orchard, from foxes to owls, falcons, gophers and so much more! The ride takes you around the entire Gilcrease Orchard. You'll get to see the pumpkin patch, apples, cucumbers and so much more! After the wagon ride, we did the corn maze! The corn maze was interesting! You couldn't really see around you as you traversed through the maze! Luckily, there wasn't multiple paths and it was just a one way maze! It was a lot of fun and we spent about 20 minutes going through the maze! The last activities were the farmers market area and the pumpkin patch! The farmers market area had a wide range of vegetables and fruits available. We did get some tomatoes and black garlic. From there, we got a cart and went to pick out some pumpkins! Along the way, we saw some apples and cucumbers! There were so many pumpkins to choose from! We picked up several pumpkins. It was so much fun picking our own pumpkins from the orchard! There were a lot of other families there too doing the same thing! If you're looking to pick up some fresh fruits and vegetables, there's a seasonal schedule available from Gilcrease that lets you know when is a good time to come and pick certain fruits and vegetables! There is also free entry to Gilcrease when it's not the fall season. If you haven't been to Gilcrease Orchard, this is a must visit if you're a local or a tourist looking to explore Vegas!

Yelp
Farm/orchard located in North Las Vegas. We came on a Fall Saturday. *Note you must purchase tickets ahead of time.* It was very crowded even at 10am. You can bring your own water in. There are refreshments and snacks for sale. The orchard sells and makes their own apple cider and apple donuts. You can also pick and purchase fresh produce. The pumpkin patch is very large with a variety of pumpkins. You can pick them right from the patch. There is a hay ride and chicken coop as well.

Yelp
Off the beaten path in a nice neighborhood. Didn't expect the orchard to be as big as it really was. Bought our tickets in advance for the pumpkin patch. Definitely recommend going early like we did, as it can get pretty hot with the black pavement. Greeted by cheerful & eager employees guiding us to where things are located. Tractor rides, apple cider & donut tent, square dancing tent, multiple props for photos. They even provide you with a cute little wheelbarrow to haul your load around! Pumpkins were plentiful in all shapes, sizes & colors. Apple trees were bare, pomegranates were still ripening. Corn stalks, green beans, peaches, so many different varieties of produce. Tortoise, chicken & owl habitats to view. 2 different parking lots available.

Yelp
We LOVE Gilcrease! We took our granddaughter here for her first Halloween. It was more for our entertainment and the photo opps. We didn't do the hey ride but it was a very busy, but well organized attraction. Of course we couldn't leave with snagging a box of their ooey-gooey delish apple cider . Just the smell wafting through the air makes your mouth water. We always enjoy a day @ Gilcrease and the fall attractions make it our favorite time to visit.

Yelp
I have been meaning to come here for nearly a decade but never made it out for one reason or another but finally did last weekend and learned quickly that this place is over-hyped and really just not worth the hassle. Maybe it was my fault for going on a Saturday during fall or maybe it was my fault for not necessarily knowing what I wanted to get out of it but I really can't see myself coming back here. Here are the things that bothered me. -It is too far away from me, which is not a mark against Gilcrease, just a personal preference. -It is far to crowded, with no traffic or parking control. There are cops "helping" but not really. It took me 15 minutes to drive about 1/8 of a mile when exiting the parking lot. -The staff are mostly teenagers and are very kind but were not trained well. I asked one about the place and what there was to do and they couldn't really say anything other than, "you know, just like walk around and see what there is." -The farm stand was very small and all but picked over. -The orchards, while very large, again have been picked over, at least when it comes to the apples. -The apple cider donuts, which multiple people have raved to me about, were old, stale, and dry and the fresh apple cider wasn't anything special. I wandered around in the fields for a bit, looking at pumpkins, grabbed some cider and donuts, listened to the live music they had (which was actually very enjoyable), and left, feeling underwhelmed and quite disappointed.

Yelp
Fall Morning with the grands! Effective, efficient, fun, memorable, annual. I am from the Midwest and Fall, apples, pumpkin, layers of clothes, outside dining, bon fires, hayrides, cornucopia, caramel apples and cider! This is the best I get here and I experience and enjoy it. We have gone sine the 90's and mostly each year after. Today I took my 2 grands, ages 1.5 & 5. We had an early reservation, 8AM , to miss the school crowd and parking was easily accessible . We ate breakfast: meat or veggie burrito and fresh donuts with a fresh cider option. We rode a hayride with the option of a straw maze or live chicken coop. We picked pomegranates, apples and pumpkins. Oh with the little girl riding in a wheel barrel that's provided, 1st come first serve and grabbed a few caramel apples, cider and 2of 4 types of donuts. We had a ball and will return next year. Happy Fall!

Yelp
Fun outing! Orchard open from Spring to later in the Fall. Currently, Tu, Th & Sat from 7-10 but check the website to be sure! No entry for admission now but come later this month, there will be a fee! So take advantage of the freebie! Peaches are abundant and ready to be picked! There are onions, red onions, cucumbers, garlic plus more including the beautiful sunflowers this time of year. And if you need coffee, fresh donuts, peanut butter, olive oil, tee shirts etc they've also got you covered. Easy parking and nice wagons available as well to make carrying your produce much easier. And lastly, staff is super friendly! Thank you Gilcrease! We shall return!

Yelp
Today was my second time coming here. The first time was for the Sunflower event and my friends and I loved the experience. Today we came back for the pumpkin patch and it was another awesome experience! We arrived around 7 am and luckily the parking wasn't too bad. The parking area is right across the entrance and there's lots of parking! Coming here seems very friendly to newcomers as there are signs where to go for almost everything. The staff is also super friendly and helpful to any questions you have and is able to direct you. The vibes of just being here feels great and everyone just seems so happy. It's an amazing feeling. The food they offer is limited but I would say it is decent for the price. If you do come here, I DEFINITELY recommend getting the cider. It tastes super delicious. It's also very cool how you are able to pick out your own veggies from the ground. Would recommend to bring some gloves as it can definitely be messy. The corn maze and straw maze was entertaining if you also like to walk around and it was also fun being able to feed the chickens. I recommend coming here once at it is such a great experience!

Yelp
We went for the Easter egg hunt, after having a fun family night when we came for the Christmas hay rides. This was a much more interactive event for the kids (5 years and 18 months). The patch was separate from the main farm, where garlic was growing. (Couldn't tell my the smell). The eggs were HEAVILY distributed throughout the patch. Once they collected a dozen and a half, they could take them in for a basket with tons of goodies. The Easter bunny was on site for pictures, as well as face painting. We will be back next year.

Yelp
Gilcrease is becoming a fun family tradition for us. We went a few months back for the Sunflower days and now went for pumpkin picking and let me tell you that it's 100% worth waking up early on the weekend to drive 40+ miles for this experience. Let's start by saying that the donuts are heavenly. Fresh from the oven and very light. The only issue is that they go down too easy!!!! You tell yourself you'll have one then 2 or 3 later! Not sure if it's true but I have heard you need to be there early for them. I do know certain produce items and ciders do sell out. We got there at 7:45am and they were already out of the pear cider. The apple was delicious. Great mixture of sweet and tart. The pumpkin picking was such a fun experience. The kids absolutely loved being able to go out into the field to pick their own. The prices are currently .75/lb, which isn't bad, considering you are supporting local and picking them yourself. It's worth paying a little extra for the experience of it all. There are a ton of photo props, I don't even think we hit them all. There is also a hay maze, corn maze, and hay ride, which was a lot of fun. For the price you pay to go here, it's worth every penny. I highly recommend this fun, family activity.

Yelp
Perfect place to spend morning with the family and be outside all the time. There is a plenty of parking spots (but if you go on Saturday it is different story). Anyway upon the entrance they give you a bag and a little stroller. You can navigate through rows and pick up your own fruit. Now it is a peach season so all the peaches are ready to pick up. Pears are not ready yet. On the other side of the farm there is vegetables fields where you can pick squash, cucumber, zucchini.... Also they have some vegetables at the checkout like today they have tomatoes, onion, garlic, corn.... All the vegetables and fruits are 2 dollars per pound. Can't wait fall to go and grab their apple cider vinegar doughnuts
google avatar

Samantha K.

Yelp
Gilcrease Orchard is an even better experience since they have started charging the small admission fee! The orchard is much less crowded, employees are always kind and willing to answer questions, the fall hay ride and corn mazes are a blast for the kiddos, and the cider donuts are to die for! Love a great outdoor seasonal activity for the family.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing hidden gem in Vegas. No words can explain how peaceful this place is. Was able to eat fruit right off the tree. Apricots were so sweet and juicy. Can I mention the sunflowers were absolutely breath-taking. They do have early hours. But I planned it perfectly to get there while the sun was still rising so I was able to see the sunflowers open. Absolutely amazing. I have already told others and will plan to return in the next few weeks.

Yelp
Gilcrease Orchard is an amazing place to go with your family. You can pick apples, pumpkins, corn (when in season). Sunflowers, Cucumbers, Green Beans, Pomegranates (when in season). And many other fruits and vegetables. The stand out thing we always get are the apple cider donuts, out of this world delicious and amazing and the chilled, frozen pure apple cider. If you are planning to visit go on their website and purchase tickets, Don't show up if you don't have tickets. Due your research and enjoy Gilcrease Orchard. They also have corn and hay mazes and live bee exhibit and chickens. Such a wonderful family to do.

Yelp
I hate to sound like a "Debbie downer" but I was very disappointed with our trip to the Gilcrease Orchard today. I'm hoping that maybe if you go to the orchard when they first open for the season, the luck is better? For starters, the parking lot and surrounding areas are a freaking nightmare. Plan to arrive early if you have pre-purchased tickets @ a selected time slot. The pumpkin picking was so sad, the only pumpkins they had left looked rotten or discolored . There's crowds of people everywhere and people desperately seeking photo opportunities in an area where there aren't really any good backdrops/areas. My husband did say that the cinnamon donuts were good , but not good enough to return for. Besides these things, there's not much to do... no activities/games/etc. I do believe they had some live music but we were so underwhelmed by the place that we didn't even want to walk to see more.
google avatar

Tina M.

Yelp
I love this place so much. It's so beautiful. It feels like heaven. I wish I could've stayed longer, but my son wasn't feeling good. The pumpkin patch was absolutely amazing although the pumpkins are a little pricey, but it was worth it because it's such a gorgeous ambience. They also had a little dining area with a live band. It was so cool and the food was absolutely delicious And reasonably priced they had a steak quesadilla, That was one of the best things I ever ate. it does get crowded though that's the only bad thing but we will definitely be back. I love this place.

Diane R.

Yelp
Absolutely love every visit to Gilcrease, always something new to try like the strawberry donuts (of coarse make sure to get some of their classic carrot donuts as well!), I love getting the fresh herbs to dry at home and make liquers/syrups. Easily a once a month trip during their open season, service is always warm and friendly, would HIGHLY recommend if you haven't been!
google avatar

Yelp
I move heard so much about this orchard. Went with the ladies and was underwhelmed. Plenty of free parking available across the street. There was a sunflower patch (tickets available for purchase and $2 per sunflower). As you entered staff provides free bags, you can ship apple cider, strawberry jam, water, eggs, onions, garlic, blackberries and strawberries (under the shaded tent). You can pick up a wheelbarrow and make your way to the field. The harvest was squash, carrots, beets (golden and red), lettuce, Kale, collard greens, bok choy, apricots, and that was all. You pay upon existing, be sure to hold on to your receipt they'll check it before you exit. At the registers there was imported olive oil from California, honey, peanut butter and kettle corn. I had high expectation for this as compared to orchard visits back home. Likely fall and winter may be the better times to visit.

Yelp
Such an amazing find! First time having real apple cider donuts (we dont have that in hawaii) and omfg they were even better than i had ever imagined. Also got the apple cider and pear cider. So so tasty. And a chorizo breakfast burrito, which was the most underwhelming part of the experience compared to everything else. Luckily we got there the first day of fall so hours were extended. Make sure to buy tickets early because they sold out so fast that day. App is neat and useful so you can find whats in season and what you can/cannot pick. Other than the squashes the only thing in season were apples. I had hoped for peach or nectarine but we just missed them. Such a unique experience that we dont have where im from. Would def go back Be prepared to walk a lot and it does get super hot by the end even if its cooler when you first start

Yelp
I went to Gilcrease on a Saturday in October, so keep in mind this is definitely the busiest season and day to go. With that in mind, it was very crowded and the lines were insanely long. The food area was packed to the point that my husband and I decided to just walk around and then get some donuts and cider to go. We did the little tractor tour, which was very informative and nice to get out of the sun. There's plenty of orchard for picking and most people had full wheelbarrows, so if you're looking for the pumpkin picking expensive, this is the place to do it. The cider was absolutely delicious and we got 2 but jugs to go, and the donuts were hands down some of the best I've ever had. Overall I don't think I'll be back on a weekend but I'll pop in anytime during the week and get some delicious donuts and cider.

Yelp
Fall is not complete without a trip down to Gilcrease Orchard! My friends and I decided to go on a Sunday which meant we had to buy tickets for entrance. If you go on a weekday, entrance is free. We actually bought tickets online days before! I'm very glad we did because when we checked the tickets online the day of, it was all sold out! There was also a chance to buy tickets at the entrance but within a couple hours on the Sunday that we went, those tickets were sold out as well! I definitely recommend buying your tickets in advance to ensure entrance on the weekends! By the way, online tickets were 5 dollars, but in person they were selling for 8 dollars! Once inside, you'll see stalls of fresh produce, apple cider, donuts and other snacks like caramel apples! The day we went they also had live music! Once you're done browsing these stalls you can head over to the apple orchard, the sunflower fields, and to the pumpkin patch! I ended up bring home a handful of their beautiful sunflowers! Tip: If you're planning on browsing through the open fields for a few hours, I do recommend you wear your sunblock and maybe bring a hat and sunglasses. It got pretty hot by the time it was 10am! But that's Vegas weather for you! Other activities they offered included mazes and wagon rides! As for parking, they had plenty enough of space but on the weekends it definitely fills up earlier in the day. Overall, my friends and I love Gilcrease. It's a vibrant little gem and it'll always be a place to return to every year!

Yelp
We loooove Gilcrese! Going to Gilcrese in the fall has become a tradition of ours. From apple picking to the pumpkin patch to the AMAZING apple cider donuts- this place is always a hit! Everything was ran pretty smoothly, and you can tell they've been doing this for a while. You do need a ticket ahead of time in the fall and would highly recommend getting them way ahead of time next year! They kept selling out, and we had to keep pushing back the day we wanted to go because of it. But I can see why! I was thoroughly impressed with how large their pumpkin patch was and felt their pumpkins were very reasonably priced! They have a large selection of apples for picking too, which is always fun to do. But my absolute favorite is the food! You Cannot go wrong with their apple cider donuts as they are always so hot, fresh, and delicious!! And honestly, they also have the Best apple cider I've ever had. You can literally taste how fresh it is. Not to mention, the fall vibes, overall, just make for a fun time out and beautiful photos! Would definitely recommend and will continue to come back next year!!

Yelp
I love Gilcrease Orchard and enjoy coming every Fall to pick my pumpkins. This year, I picked apples and had a great experience making family memories at the orchard. The team is always so friendly and welcoming. I really appreciate the hospitality and willingness to share facts and helpful fruit-picking information. The caramel apples are delicious, as well as the apple donuts- which I tried for the first time this year. I simply enjoy the tradition of Gilcrease and will continue visiting for years to come.

Yelp
Its SUNFLORA season! & this is truly a slice of heaven in North Vegas. We came on a Tuesday and it's such a wholesome experience from the charming staff to the group of families enjoying quality time together. I highly recommend coming early in the morning especially when it's a bit cooler and the sun isn't as intense. Right next to their GO mural is the donut tent selling their limited edition carrot cake donuts. I personally think these are way better than their seasonal apple cider donuts (but that's just my opinion) and if you need a snack, go try their Cream Cheese frosted one! *Bring sunscreen or an umbrella just in case you plan to spend the entire duration walking around the property.

Yelp
This is a really cool way to spend a few hours! For the month of October, it was the fall festival, so you had to buy tickets ahead of time online, and they were definitely selling out on the weekends! We went on the last Sunday of October, which of course happened to be one of the coldest days of the month lol we bundled up for our ticket time of 9:15 and made our way to the hot food area. The hot food area was selling breakfast burritos (bacon, chicken, or chorizo), drinks, and a pulled pork sandwich with apple cider bbq sauce after 10am All of the food was already prepared, so people were getting their orders really quick. Two members of our group got brewed coffee for the warmth, and it was lukewarm and weak. They ended up throwing it away immediately after getting it. We circled back later and got the pulled pork sandwich. It was really good, I'm glad we waited in the line for it. We left the hot food area and made our way to the corn and hay mazes. The hay one was definitely for kids, but we had a fun time in the corn maze! After making our way out, you pass the chicken coop! That was really fun to see. There were quite a few chickens of different sizes and colors. We wandered through rows of apple trees, which had lots of apples on them, they just didn't seem quite ready for picking (a good chunk are in wagons in the produce area). We came basically the last day of the festival, so the cucumbers and green beans were very picked over. The pumpkins seemed plentiful, though! Once in the bagged produce area, we got a bag of peppers for $3, and I regret not getting the sweet I think honey roasted peaunt butter for $6. Our friends got the cream cheese frosted apple cider donuts, and they were so good! I regret not getting a box of those as well! Overall, we spent about an hour and a half there and $5 per ticket. Assuming you don't go on a crazy cold and windy day like we did, I recommend a hat to protect from the sun. You should also wear comfortable walking shoes that you're ok getting a bit dirty. Good family or friend group outing.

Yelp
I love going to the orchard and has become a tradition. Picking your own fruits and vegetables is fun. The seasonal donuts and kettle popcorn are awesome. I recommend going early. This is a must do If you haven't been.

Yelp
Wow what a helpful and informative staff. We came here to volunteer, and also got the opportunity to pick some apples. It was so surprising how these apples survive in the Vegas heat, but they do. It's alot of walking, so be prepared. For safety, I recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt to protect fron branches scratching you. They offer gloves if you need them. After picking, we had breakfast burritos and coffee which were delicious. They also offer other food items and drinks as well. For a fun time with your family in the outdoors, I recommend coming here.

Yelp
Had been wanting to come to Gilcrease Orchard for years but took the chance to. Had found out my friend had also wanted to go for a long time so we both made the effort to take a trip out. I had always thought it was only open on weekends but apparently its open on Tues, Thurs, Sat and Sun. We had came here on a Thursday morning mid-September and it was a really nice experience. We went straight to picking yellow peaches first and got a lot of HUGE peaches (delicious!). It was a fun time walking around and looking for our own peaches to pick. After picking peaches, we picked up some apple ($7 for half gallon, $3 for pint) and pear cider at the Farm Stand. Apple is a bit sweeter than the pear. Personally, great after diluting a little or just adding some ice and waiting for it to melt a little. Very refreshing and apparently good for you too ! I actually really like the pear but apparently not always available. Also picked up both plain $6/box of 6 and cinnamon sugar $8/box of 6 apple cider donuts to try. Was decent but probably won't get again. You do get the apple cider taste but very sweet and dense. Borderline like a bread/cake. During checkout, had also picked up a bag of kettle corn, and natural peanut butter ! Kettle corn was nice and not overly sweet. Natural peanut butter was chunky but not overly sweet like commercially produced ones. Overall, fun experience. Looking forward to returning with her for other fruits the orchard produces in the future !

Yelp
Looking to join a few hundred people explore the pumpkin patch? This is your spot. Plenty of everything you may need. Wagons, doughnuts, apple cider, fresh produce etc for all. Seriously eat the doughnuts. So good. It's outside and dusty. Wear good shoes. Bring water. Have a blast.

Yelp
I haven't been out here in a while so I got up early and ventured over to grab some sunflowers before they are gone. It is so pretty out here in the early morning and all the vegetables look even more tasty in that morning sun. I brought my own shears but found out they provide with you some as well. I purchased a white bucket to place them in and flower food was provided. There were several rows of sunflowers and all of them unique and healthy. A great day to be here with minimal people. After selecting my sunflowers, I wandered over and picked some ripe apricots. Plenty to choose from and boy are they delicious! Of course I had to sample a couple. They have now added a shaded area with picnic tables and they serve breakfast burritos, coffee, tea, and new carrot cake donuts. Great place to cool down after picking your fruit. Checkout and was a breeze and friendly workers too. I wanted to get some greens but I didn't have enough hands to carry everything so I will be back soon. So glad we have this lovely orchard in our city. We are lucky it's been around for over 50 years and just keeps growing.

Yelp
I think I've been wanting to come here for years but it's always been hard for me to commit to going out here due to its distance + how early I'd have to wake up. Well, I finally came out here earlier this month and no regrets! I really enjoyed the experience of personally picking my peaches (which were good!) and then just being in this atmosphere and environment. My friend and I definitely got some apple + pear cider to try (have yet to finish) and both the plain + cinnamon sugar donuts. I probably won't be getting donuts in the future personally, but I will definitely pick up more cider. It is quite sweet for me (as are apples in general), so I do have to dilute it a little bit. Nonetheless, still enjoyed them! I picked up a thing of honey for $18 so I'm excited to try it out in the winter for when I brew tea and want that little sweetness. I'll definitely be back to try out other things depending on the season. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Wayyyyyyyy toooo many people now! We were there on 10/26 from 11-12. They ran out of everything but hotdogs. It was crowded. Kept running out of donuts. Cars parking way down the street. Not enough tables so they put in bleachers...that were hot and in the sun. There were a lot of rotten pumpkins out there, some areas smelled really disgusting because they were so bad. Things like that. I thought selling tickets was a great idea to keep the crowds down...but obviously you're over selling tickets now. You should sell LESS tickets per day and open every day instead of every other day. People would have a better experience...if it even matters to you anymore.

Yelp
After 10+ years in Vegas, we finally made the trek to Gilcrease orchard. We were able to cover the entire property with picking the fruits and veggies we were looking for, had some breakfast burritos and take some photos in around 2 hours. All of the people at Gilcrease are super kind and helpful. They can be found throughout the property and will greet you with a super positive attitude. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Overall - we loved Gilcrease and can't wait to be back again. One recommendation is to get there early since they do have a line to get in since certain things go QUICK! Will be back again soon!

Yelp
Peaches and pears in August. Want to have some fun and want food too. Gilcrease Orchard is the place to be for the whole family. The season determines what is available to be picked in the orchard. We were there when yellow and white peaches and bartlet pears were ready for picking. A large parking lot for cars to park in will be on your right. Then you just cross the street where you will be greeted by staff that will provide you with bags or boxes for your pickings. They also have two-wheel wheelbarrows free to use if you plan to pick alot. A sign at the entrance will let you know what fruit and row numbers that you are allowed to pick. The trees aren't very tall, so you don't need a ladder or be very tall. You can check out the chickens, tortoises and bees while you are there also. They also have a straw maze. Don't forget to stop by the food tent for some food and drinks made from what is grown in the orchard. The fresh apple cider and pear cider are absolutely delicious. Also stop by the country store for some produce before you leave. Pros: Good family activity. You know, wear the kids out. Super clean portable toilets. Fresh, tree rippen and hand picked fruits by you Cons: Be prepared to get your shoes dirty. Go early. It gets hot by noon. Would I go back?: YES.

Yelp
We went during peach season. We spent way too much money on peaches but it was well worth it. The peaches were sweet and juicy, I never knew how much I enjoyed peaches until I went the this Orchard. There were a lot of trees to pick from and a lot of variety of fruit to choose from as well. We also bought some garlic, and potatoes. The overall experience was nice. We had a great time and the smell of their breakfast was enough to make my mouth water...too bad there wasn't anything for a plant based/vegan to eat. But it's ok, we were able to walk out with bags filled with peaches!!

Yelp
This is one of my son's favorite places to go, we even took him on his birthday so he could ride on the hayride! We love going each different season to get the freshest seasonal produce.

Yelp
Great place to visit for different seasons. It's a fun activity with family and friends. You can pick your own fruits, vegetables, sunflowers, pumpkins and many more during the time of the season. They have clear places to park your vehicle which is free. They have free entry during the week and on weekends there is a fee. All the things plucked is weighed and has a small fee to them. I go in for their fresh fruits and the delicious doughnuts. Grab a box of doughnuts and fresh pressed apple cider to enjoy after a long stroll throughout the orchard.

Yelp
Our family has been coming here for as long as I have fall pictures 15-20 years. Now my daughters family and ours make a yearly traito bring our grandkids. I've seen too many changes over the years, some good some bad but you change and grow with the times, right?? I'd think knowing that this orchard is a mainstay in many las Vegas natives and their families the management would advertise the change in 'ticket' policy the radio flyers news channels etc etc. nope. We get here from Henderson with 2 carloads of family and kids for our gilcrease trip and find out it's SOLD OUT???? Since when?? WTH even the police officer directing traffic had no idea when, how or who made policy change and was as upset as the multiple Local Las Vegas residents HE had to tell!! Not good considering we are now driving around with children looking for a pumpkin patch because after breakfast that's what we DO!!

Yelp
They are closed on Thursdays, and do not charge entry during weekdays but they do on weekends. They had plenty of pumpkins to choose from as well as apples to pick. Parking was scarce on a Wednesday afternoon. Take hats since it's quite sunny and there is no shade anywhere. They run out of donuts very quickly, by 12:30 there was no more after we waited in line for about 30 minute so we were a little disappointed, but they must be amazing since people were taking more than a dozen per guest. Kettle corn perfumed the orchard and was pretty delicious. It was a great activity for the kiddies.

Yelp
I'm not sure why I waited 10+ years to finally visit Gilcrease Orchard but this was finally my year. This might be an unpopular opinion but I actually like that you now have to purchase tickets/entry online beforehand. The fee was only around $5 per person and it helped keep it not too crowded. It also helped with the parking situation. Once inside I did it all - the hay ride, corn maze, pumpkin patch, apple orchard and tried the infamous apple cider donuts. I had a great time. Things I would recommend - bring water & wear a hat (it's hot), wear comfortable shoes that you're also not afraid to get dirty & pick your vegetables/fruits last after enjoying all the other activities. An awesome place to take your whole family to kick off the fall festivities.
