For Immigrant-Owned Restaurants, Surviving Coronavirus Is More Complicated | Eater

"Co-owned by Eric Sansangasakun and partners, this slightly upscale Thai-and-sushi spot (opened in 2006) saw revenue plunge roughly 70% after dine-in service halted; aggressive promotions and discounts failed to make up the gap. The team furloughed much of its staff while urging employees with food needs to take free meals, and owners tapped personal loans to cover monthly expenses. The restaurant has also faced crime (a recent break-in) and ongoing concerns about rent, supplier cooperation, and long-term survival, but the owners describe themselves as determined to keep the business and family legacy alive." - Jenny G. Zhang

Google
Been going to Gindi Thai since I moved to Burbank. Amazing food, great atmosphere and super lovely staff! Would highly recommend.

Google
"Happy Hour Lemon Drop" yummy in tummy. Pad Thai shrimp is so much better when you ask for side of peanut sauce. Salmon Red Curry and Miso Glaze Sea bass were enjoyable when I wasn't fighting flies. The manager was very pleasant and I really enjoyed some of the employees energy.

Google
Amazing place! The atmosphere here is very cozy, they play good music, lots of light i door and have a cozy outdoor patio. The food is just beyond perfect. I highly recommend to try their soups and rice dishes. They also offer the impossible meat with any meal you order and it’s honestly perfect. Usually, vegetarian meats have some odd smell and texture but their impossible meat is pretty damn close with flavor and texture. Everything is very flavorful, very well cooked and served. Customer service here is excellent! All the staff members are friendly and feel their customers very well! Great attitude and also very professional. I definitely recommend this place and hope they continue to gain more new customers. Thank you for making our experience so special.

Google
What are wonderful service. This was my first time dining there on the recommendation of a group of friends. The service is outstanding. The food was very delicious. Drunken noodles were my favorite.

Google
This restaurant has a very refreshing ambience. The service was little slow but the food was amazing. Had fried rice and yellow curry. Both were to the mark. Would recommend to visit this place for authentic Thai treat.

Google
The place was really cute! Didn't thing that there'd be such a cute dinner spot out of nowhere in Burbank. It was a bit weird to see so many different things on the menu, but we stuck with the thai food. Had the hibiscus gin drink from their happy hour menu with an order of egg rolls and tofu frites. Ordered a pad thai and the 3 curry combo to get a taste of them all. Honestly, all the curry was delicious and the pad thai also tasted good. One thing about the pad thai, we did notice that the shrimp was a little translucent, that maybe it wasn't cooked all the way thru. Probably should've asked them to take it back, but we were too hungry. However, not sure if it was just us, but we definitely weren't feeling well after eating the food. We took leftovers home and reheated the next day and got the same reaction of having an upset stomach. Might just be coincidence?

Google
I started with the lychee martini (sweet but very good), then on to the gyoza (just alright). I also had the she's from Miami roll (they put something very spicy on the tuna that was not listed on the menu, would've been good otherwise), and the baked crab hand roll (delicious! but had avocado in it, which was also not mentioned on the menu). The staff were very nice and there was a nice ambiance.

Yelp
This is Gindi in Burbank, a neighborhood staple for 18 years! My mom wanted to spend the day at IKEA, so we ended up here. It's just such a nice space. The staff is always so kind. I love the full bar and the pet friendly patio. I love the happy hour specials, but if you go during dinner there's a free amuse bouche. Love the drinks and the new chilling roll which has spicy albacore, avocado, and yellowtail on top. I also would get the Massaman beef shank curry. Just great to support a mom and pop that's been in the neighborhood for so long. They were also nice enough to give anyone who mentions my name gets a free plate of dumplings for the next month. So enjoy.

Yelp
Cute lunch or dinner spot! Came here during lunch hours with my co-workers. We made a reservation and it ended up being a good call because they filled up throughout our time there. For appetizers we got the Chicken Satay and Crispy Spring Rolls. Both were very good and were presented very nicely and perfect for sharing for groups. For my meal I got a Baked Crab Handroll and the Double Shrimp sushi roll. Both were good but if I went back I would just order a bunch of the Handrolls because it was the best - warm and made perfectly! The only negative thing was that both my sushi and my coworker's came out 20-30 mins after everyone else got their meals so they were all almost done by the time we started. Our waiter did warn us the sushi would take longer but since it is half of their menu I think they should figure out a way to make it more quickly.

Yelp
BEST Thai spot in LA, and I do not say that lightly. Amazing, friendly service (just like you're eating at a friend's house), diverse and delicious menu, and a cute, casual vibe that matches the super high quality but unpretentious dishes. You can get all your classic favorites plus a few sushi options. I think their hand rolls give KazuNori a run for their money in quality (though not the warm rice, but that's okay!). The green curry is so good with the roti, the pad see ew is super flavorful, the sushi uses fresh cuts of fish, and the Thai Iced Tea was the right balance of sweet. Cannot wait to come here again, highly recommend it as your pre-concert or pre-show spot if you're in the LA area.

Yelp
I recently dined at Gindi Thai, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant's vibe is incredibly inviting, with lively music and an energetic atmosphere that make you feel like you're dining right in the heart of the action, especially being so close to the WB studios. The food at Gindi Thai is nothing short of amazing. Every dish we had was bursting with flavors. For me, I loved the spicy tuna on crispy fried rice with avocado. It was love at first bite--fresh, perfectly spiced, and absolutely mouthwatering. Sometimes places that do both Japanese food and Thai don't hit on one of the food groups just right but when the Thai fried Rice came out I knew this place was a winner. Each grain of rice seemed imbued with deliciousness. I'm already craving it, and it's only been a few hours! Surprisingly, the Tom Yum soup also won me over. Normally, the spicy and sour mix never quite yums my toms, but Gindi Thai's version, especially with that zingy citrusy lime, was so delicious I couldn't get enough. Overall, Gindi Thai offers a wonderful dining experience with its combination of fantastic food, vibrant atmosphere, and energetic ambiance. I highly recommend giving it a try if you're in the mood for some excellent Thai cuisine. Bravo, Gindi Thai!

Yelp
If you're looking for a really good Thai spot, you will instantly fall in love with the food. The service was a 10/10 and food 100/10. The sushi is fresh and every main dish on the menu is delicious. The presentation was beautiful. The ambience is relaxing, and the dishes are authentic.

Yelp
We came on a Sunday night. It was quiet at 6:30 PM, but by 7 o'clock the place was bustling. First, they brought out a tiny amuse bouche to whet the palate. Very nice! I then ordered the Sum Tom Gindi. Gorgeous to look at and tasty. A bit spicy. Two nice meaty shrimp on top. My friend had the salmon sashimi. She was delighted with the presentation and the flavor. Service was attentive and not intrusive. We really liked it and will return.

Yelp
A great spot for dinner within walking distance of my hotel. I would recommend getting a reservation as the place has limited seating, but we were shown a table right away. The food was rich, delicious, and filling. The garlic edamame was amazing!
google avatar

Yelp
Pricier but nice local Thai spot with solid Thai classics and some interesting sushi options. We ordered both off menu and happy hour small plates and generally liked everything. The spicy scallop and crudo were great as was the sexy salmon roll. The name is crazy but the roll itself was really fantastic. Also orders old standby pad thai, pad see ew and Tom yum soup and everything was great. Although the portions look initially small, they are rather deceptively generously portioned and I was surprised I even finished my entree. Would definitely recommend and would go back for the cozy vibe and great, attentive service from staff.

Yelp
This is THE best Thai food spot in my area. The curry is rich and fragrant. If I had to change one thing I would get the steak drunken noodles instead of the chicken. So much tastier. Service was great our server attentive and the food was served fairly quickly. Mango sticky rice was divine but if I'm being honest I've never met a mango sticky rice I did not like. There's not too much street parking.

Yelp
My favourite restaurant amazing food. My lovely roll is "She is from Miami". Highly recommend

Yelp
I used to always pick up food for my boss from here pre pandemic.. lots of people love this place! Honestly haven't been inside the restaurant in a while so I don't remember what it looks like inside. Now that I work close to the westside, I've been able to experience so many different restaurants - so now that I've had pad Thai from a few different places, I decided to give Gindi another try after so many years. Spring rolls are very tasty.. it's all about the sauce! Love that it has some spice! The pad Thai was really good and flavorful - the only thing I wish I could add to it is spice. A few spots I've been able to add mild or medium spice to kick it up a bit. Maybe they don't do that on to go orders.. or maybe that's now how pad Thai should be.. but the meat was fresh and I still enjoyed the whole bowl to myself! Yum! Thank you!

Yelp
Incredible dining experience! Great location. Easy street parking. Beautiful restaurant. Wonderful family run staff. Amazing food! Visited this super cute restaurant on a Saturday night. Plenty of seating (both indoor and outdoor) was available. We chose indoor. The decor was modern, chic, light and airy. The vibe was relaxed and comfortable. The menu items were the typical Thai options plus vegetarian Impossible meat options. As a vegetarian, I was very happy with the menu. We chose the Tofu Frittes, Garden Rolls and the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice as appetizers. Our main entrees were the Impossible Satay and the Impossible Mignon. The Peach Basil Bourbon came out first followed quickly by the appetizers. Everything (drink included) was artistically plated and delicious! Portion sizes were good. My favorite was the mignon which melted in my mouth. The satay was a close second. Service was outstanding. Nack and Poom were super helpful, attentive and friendly. The gender neutral, single user restroom was modern and clean. Pricing was reasonable. I'm a fan!

Yelp
This is what I'd call a fancy Thai place. The dishes are small and the prices are high. The miso cod was overcooked. The flavor was there, but that dry fish killed the vibe. The noodle dish was spicy and tasty. The curries were all good. Very small tasting bowls with maybe 1-2 pieces of meat or vegetables per dish. Just a warning that the coconut milk was not cooked through enough as it messed with my stomach, if you know what I mean. I also got a Thai iced tea, which was very generic but good. I paid with cash, and the server picked it up. When we started walking out, the owner (?) shouted out, "DID YOU PAY???" I said yes and looked at the server who got the money, and he quietly nodded. So rude. And that, my friends, is why I won't be going back. The food isn't good enough to make me put up with rude people.
google avatar

Theresa G.

Yelp
I got the short rib in green curry but it was more like eggplant curry with short rib garnish- mostly eggplant in this dish. The curry was a bit bland and tasted more like coconut soup than a really good rich curry. The portions are very small and the prices are very high. I paid $32 for this dish and it came with a small scoop of rice. You really do need to order an appetizer with your meal, you will still be hungry due to the portion size. The previous time I ate here it was about the same.... Paid a premium price and got barely any chicken in the Chicken Pad Thai. This staff is friendly and the restaurant is in a nice walkable area of Burbank

Yelp
They have an amazing happy hour everyday. The food is on point everyone. The service is excellent.

Yelp
I enjoyed my time here and will certainly come back, but I was a little disappointed by my experience overall. Was just here for a quick work lunch. They have a very spacious dining area and a back patio for outdoor seating. There were quite a few people eating alone working on their laptops, which may be the big appeal for this place during lunch. I ordered the spicy salmon poke bowl, which was really just okay. Mostly just salmon, black rice, and some avocado. Wish there was a little more to it, it was kind of bland compared to the sweet fin poke right next door. My coworker had a chicken teriyaki bowl that looked good and came with a very large portion. Service was rather slow despite the restaurant not being very full. I had to go request to-go boxes and for the check.

Yelp
We come here pretty often, mostly because the patio is really cute and there aren't many Asian restaurants in the area. I'll continue to come here, but it's generally OK. For serving both Thai food and sushi, they do both pretty well! I love the corn fritter appetizer, and my husband usually orders the noodle dishes and fried rice, which are really good. I'm a big fan of the curry trio. The decor is modern and clean. They used to serve free coconut ice cream with almonds at the end of each meal (not sure if they still do). The two reasons for my rating are the service and the prices. All of the staff I've encountered have been just polite enough, but always in a rush to take my plates and leave the table immediately, never making eye contact or conversation. Maybe it isn't their fault as the restaurant always seems understaffed, but service always feels rushed and impersonal. It happened twice, with a party of 2 and then with a party of 4, that we asked for a table, were told it would be "just a minute," and then stood awkwardly around in the entrance for a long time while no one acknowledged us (in an almost empty restaurant) and we had to remind the host that we were waiting. I asked if we could sit at the (empty) bar while we waited, and was told no. The prices are also quite high for the portion size. Don't get me wrong, I will throw down some cash for good sushi, but $14 for an average Philly roll with 5 pieces is a little absurd. The happy hour prices aren't the best deal, and the cocktails have very little alcohol in them... I'd stick with the beer and wine.

Jena E.

Yelp
Great customer service. Complimentary amuse buche. Yummy sushi rolls. Didn't get any thai food, but it smelled amazing.

Yelp
An old stand-by. Just consistently good, creative and delicious food. Their lunch specials are affordable and terrific! Went with a friend tonight for dinner and it's just as cozy and sweet at night. I love their drunken noodles - spicy and savory and filling.

Yelp
Surprisingly cool spot with an even more surprising food menu. Gindi Thai is where we ended up this past Sunday for dinner after being told there was a 15 minute wait at Jinya. I had been interested in trying this place for a while, so I'm glad the opportunity finally presented itself. Upon entry, I was pretty excited to find out that this restaurant also serves sushi. While I was here for Thai food, I couldn't resist ordering a tuna roll appetizer. It was actually pretty good, and the price point was reasonable. For my main course, I ordered the "pad see-u". While my tuna roll exceeded expectations, the pad see-u was just OK. The quantity satisfied, but I thought it was lacking flavor. The noodles were a bit bland. The beef quality was good, however, and everything else about Gindi was enjoyable (service, atmosphere, and decor). Next time, I hope to take advantage of the 1 free glass of house wine with entree check-in offer.

Yelp
The papaya salad they sold us for take out is real a bummer for this place. This looked like it was prepared awhile ago and left there to just spoil. It was slimy, mushy and breaks apart as you pick it up. Sauce was extra murky and thick. I actually dared to try this and the papaya was soft and grainy - not crunchy at all. You guys should know better than to serve this. Especially for the price

Yelp
Every now and then, I've got to 'strap on the feed bag' with some Thai food. Gindi Thai was chosen to fill my fix. The dining room is comfortable and relaxing. When I sat down, I felt like I was about to have a nice dining experience. I started off with a nice Cucumber Martini with Mint - very refreshing. The Chicken and vegetable steamed Dumplings where fine, and the curry sauce with peas was really good. The Spicy Yellow Tail cut roll was pretty standard. The Yellow Curry was good and it had plenty of chicken in the sauce. The Spicy Drunken Noodles were also tasty. I ordered it spicy and it took a few bites for the heat to kick in. It was a delayed spicy, which was really nice. Unfortunately it did not have nearly as much Beef Tenderloin as I would expect. The service was very good. Quan was friendly and attentive . Overall it was a good meal and a really nice dining experience. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! Beautiful and quiet interior, quick service and the BEST pad thai I've had in a very long time, not to mention plated very thoughtfully. We sat inside which was super nice for a quiet date night, but the vibes in the patio looked very intriguing as well.
google avatar

Katy R.

Yelp
I loved my Pad Thai not over sauced perfectly balanced. My brother was disappointed that his dish didn't automatically come with rice but I have since learned rice coming with your meal is not a thing here in LA.
google avatar

Gohar K.

Yelp
The outdoor seating area here is great. We love coming here with our kids. We get the pad Thai and the pad see ew without any meat for them, they love it. It's actually pretty good. We have tried many dishes over time. Some we liked some we didn't. But we still come back cause we always have a good time here. The service is good, they are friendly to kids and accommodating. Love that. Finding parking is another story, you will spend at least 15 minutes to find parking unless it's your lucky day :)
google avatar

Kimberly C.

Yelp
Good Thai food! The price of the food is a bit pricier. The dish the food comes out in gives an illusion that the dish is very small, but the plate has like a deep column. The quality of food is there, but could use some stronger or more intense flavors that I have at other Thai restaurants. Overall, the portion is still on the smaller side. The service is great, and people are very friendly. The ambience includes chatter and dim lighting. I would recommend this place if you're in the mood to treat yourself out.

Yelp
- Locale Destination - It's on W riverside Dr and N Pass Ave in Burbank. Ambiance: Inside is very modern chic, cute, very untypical for Thai restaurant. Outside seating was open and casual. Menu: Thai and sushi. I don't know why they do it. Service: decent Parking: street meter. It's hard to find a spot around here. - Gluttony Expedition - Tom Kah Soup: Coconut milk soup with chicken, mushroom, lemongrass, galanga (kah), kaffir lime leaves. It was a bit lukewarm, but was light and tasty. Gra Pow: Thai basil leaves, fresh garlic, chili, bell peppers, and white wine. I opted for tofu (fried). Short ribs in Green curry: Served pipping hot (which I love), good dish. - Conqueror's Deduction - Authentic flavor, but not so street flare, more likely a bit finer version of Thai food. Not bad! My buddy said sushi was decent, but we didn't try this time. Next time!

Yelp
This is right by my work building and it's the best place for lunch if you're feeling Thai. They have great cocktails, the best pad see ew AND sushi and can usually accompany large parties! We love it here. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
This was our first time at Gindi Thai, but definitely not the last one. It's a cute, elegant place and has a very nice atmosphere inside . It's a great place to go with your friends, date night and family ( not little children though). The food is very tasty and vey good quality and the prices are very reasonable! They have a full bar and we ordered lychee martini and old fashion and we both loved our drinks. The service is amazing. They are very attentive to their guests. Annie the manager is always around to be sure everything is great!!! She is very welcoming and nice with a kind smile. Definitely recommending this place, and coming back every month. Thank you!!!

Yelp
The food is so delicious!! I got the yellow curry with chicken and jasmine rice. 10/10 would recommend. I placed an order for about 12 people and they executed it perfectly and deliciously. They kindly asked for me to place the order online moving forward to make it easier but nonetheless they were very helpful. If you like Thai food and want good customer service, go here!!

Yelp
Oh boy imagine finding an eatery and in less than A week we're back. This is Thai and with a sushi bar and great sushi/sashimi to boot. We had chicken larb that had an exquisite taste a bit in the spicy side. Green curry w/ brown rice, beef and veggies rounded out the Thai side I can't rave enough as to how really yummy all the food is , sushi OR Thai the curry is to die for so now, on my third visit I ( yes I held back reviewing till now) adding yellow curry with chicken there's nothing bad in any of the mixes here. This place is taste

Yelp
A small group of us had dinner here on a recent Friday night. We had originally wanted ramen next door but their line was too long and because it was a cold, blustery night... we actually preferred to dine indoors. Gindi Thai to the rescue. Nice, clean, light space with a very nice looking outdoor dining deck on the side. We approached the host to see if they had a table of 4 available. It wasnt too packed inside at the time. She asked us for our vaccination cards and told us it would be about 10 minutes before our table was ready. I liked that they actually checked our vaccination cards against our photo IDs. I can appreciate that. I'm sure it's not their favorite thing to do. We had no problem with it. We ordered a variety of dishes. Gindi Thai is different in that it has a sushi bar inside it as well. That was pretty cool. Our group ordered both Thai & Japanese dishes. We ordered The Four Diplomats ($17) which consists of chicken satay, corn fritters, curry dumplings & california roll. I liked this appetizer. The corn fritter was really good. I've never had that before. The chicken satay was good as well. The california roll was tasty... We also got chicken pad thai ($15) and it was a good one. We all dug into that. We ordered thai fried rice ($14) which consists of egg, onions, tomatoes & scallions. It was good fried rice. Tasty. I ordered for myself unagi nigiri ($6)... Eel is a favorite of mine and this was real good. Also ordered was shishito tempura ($9.50) which comes with bonito flakes and sweet & sour ponzu. The vegetarian in our group ordered a veggie roll sushi & an order of crispy spring rolls ($8). She was a happy customer. We also ordered curry a trois ($23) which has chicken yellow curry, tofu panang curry & beef green curry. This comes with a bowl of steamed rice. Our table liked this selection of curries.... For dessert, we had mango sticky rice. It was the perfect sweet finish to our meal. Nice, light & not overly sweet. Service was friendly, efficient & courteous. I am looking forward to coming back. My lady wasnt able to make it that night so I want to take her to dinner there in the near future. Very clean restaurant. It's nicely decorated as well. Restroom is clean. I recommend Gindi Thai in Toluca Lake for sure.

Yelp
My friend and I went to Gindi Thai for lunch today and had a wonderful meal and average service. I felt sorry for the business because they seem to be suffering more than most, it might be due to the fact that they have absolutely no parking! Luckily we met for an early lunch and were able to find spots on the street, street parking right in front of the restaurant is limited to one or two hours so we had to go a few blocks away. Not a big deal but it would've been more convenient had they still had their parking lot. It appears they made their parking lot, which was small to begin with, an outside dining area which I totally support! First we shared garlic edamame. It was amazing there was some special oil on it may be a touch of chili oil? Regardless very very tasty. And the garlic was not overpowering as you might find another restaurants. We then shared the curry trio, can't remember the name of it, but it's a serving of each of their three Currys. We loved the yellow curry the best! We also ordered the red/brown rice because there's is some of the best we've ever had and remember that from a couple of years ago! In fact we ordered two or three bowls of rice! Afterwords we shared a caterpillar roll, which was perfection! I highly recommend this restaurant but plan extra time for parking.

Susan C.

Yelp
The food and service were terrific, the cucumber martinis were devine! The only slight negative is the noise factor (high) but I can see why this restaurant has been popular for so long. Definitely going back.
google avatar

Tina C.

Yelp
Just ate here for the first time in 8 years, my nephew said the spicy tuna rolls were super good so I figured I'd give it another try, so glad I did! I ordered sushi, not Thai! It was really good!! Need to update my review for sure. Who knew the Thai place does sushi so well! Great outdoor patio. The Togo boxes were pretty cool too.
google avatar

Lisa F.

Yelp
I like this Thai place for so many reasons but two of them would include full bar & great happy hour options. Food of course is the attraction overall and the salads, noodles and curries are authentic & generous. I didn't ask for anything super spicy but I think they would trust me and accomodate. Service was attentive without bugging us. Another important aspect is the outside patio, very pleasant. Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Yelp
The best sushi rolls, they are prepared with the best ingredients that suit each bite with perfection. You have to try the Lovely Lipda Roll and the Albacore Carpaccio, those two are my absolute favorite food items to eat in the world. I am so lucky to have this wonderful restaurant near my home! And for dessert you have to try the Mango Sticky Rice. Absolutely amazing stuff. The Mango is always beautifully ripen and melts in your mouth. Employees are very welcoming and remember me and my Boyfriend every time, very nice indoor and out door seating.
google avatar

Marina K.

Yelp
The sushi here is crap, small rolls with barely anything in them for $18-$20 definitely not worth it. Do not get sushi here if you want sushi go to one of many of the sushi spots in the area. Won't be back. Never again!
google avatar

Anna A.

Yelp
Great food, was a 5 star for me before, but now they started charging for condiments???? are you serious??? .50 cents really? how petty..... is that going to pay your rent....
google avatar

Jon N.

Yelp
I can't believe it's been 10 years since I first reviewed this place but we've been a couple of time in the past month or so and it's still solid. During covid, they constructed a really nice outdoor deck that is pretty comfortable. When indoor seating opened up, they began to offer 1/2 of their dining space, so it there is an indoor option but it is pretty small. They have some very good, creative cocktails and a full bar to offer classics and basics, as well. Beer, wine and sake are all options, too. Food is still really good but can sometimes be a bit salt forward. Not overbearing, but certainly too heavy. Love their soups, very nice, fresh sushi and some delicious fish dishes. Solid choice for Thai food.

Yelp
Stopped in for an early dinner and were treated like members of the family. I ordered the Curry a Trois which was three small ramekins of different curries, green, yellow and Panama style. One featured tofu, the second, chicken, and third, sliced beef. My wife had Thai Fried rice with chicken. We started with the house Sauvignon Blanc which was nice and dry and a good sized pour. Complimentary boiled edamame while our order was being made. Service was outstanding and overall a nice meal on a Saturday evening. Try it out when in the Burbank-Toluca Lake area!! Chill acid jazz playlist and nice indoor lighting ambience were added plusses!

Yelp
STAFF - A+++++ They more than care, from safety -- to cooking -- to hosting. I was blown away by the kindness, hard work, and concern. The staff excels. READ REVIEWS ON SUGGESTED DISHES - Right on. Yummy!!! A BIT EXPENSIVE. GLASS OF WATER - NICE!!!!!!! Not yucky and discusting dish-water taste like most restaurants. 80% ON SOME DISHES - 100% ON OTHERS. I ATE / DRANK THE FOLLOWING & TOTALLY RECOMMEND: THAI ICED TEA -- $3.75 STRING BEANS  & GARLIC --  7. PAD  THAI ( WITH NOODLES ) -- 14. ..... 80% dish .... sometimes needs more peanut sauce KANG GARI GAI (YELLOW CURRY)-- 15. RIB  EYE  STEAK  ALA  PANANG -- 21. *** MANGO STICKY RICE *** ..... very, very sweet -- I personally like to eat it with the Rib Eye Steak with curry -- but you have to really like sweet as coconut is added too.. mmm. That sticky rice (with jasmine?) reheats in microwave beautifully. --------------  TOTAL :  $  60.75  +  TIP  ONLY DOWNSIDE FOR ME -- WHITE & BROWN REGULAR RICE. OH MY GOSH I NEVER WROTE SO MUCH ABOUT RICE!!! I said to them I wouldn't mention but they swore that's how Thai rice tastes... and I just can't believe it!!! Especially with how delicious their sweet rice is, and my lifetime of eating white and brown rices from all nationalities.... ? I got it for take-out from this location 2 weeks ago, the white rice, and it was tasteless. Had the brown rice today - tasteless, with an overtone if faucet water. The rest of the food is really really good -- and they even came to my table and explained that's how Thai brown and white rice tastes -- so I personally am at a loss. I hope you read other reviews that set the record straight regarding the white and brown rice here... Just my 2 cents. Enjoy!!! I otherwise did : )

Yelp
Dear Owner/Management: Next time please!! Reservation for 4, 2 guest arrive 10 minutes earlier than the other 2, they have been on the road and hungry, don't refuse service if they ask to be sited so they can order appetizer, especially when the restaurant is empty!!! Customers: Food is okay, good (not gr8) Service not that good! I will not go back just because of their cockiness. There are better choices out there!!

Yelp
We loved this great fusion restaurant! We arrived and received a prompt service the stuff was quick and friendly! This is to me a fresh and light take on Thai food and the quality of the sushi it's really excellent. We order some toro... amazing melted in our mouth and we really really enjoyed the yellow curry it was savory and creamy, the pieces of potato and carrot were cut really thick! Drinks are nice too! The only reason when I give it 4 star is doe to the fact of the slower delivery of drink and food and the service that was polite but not a 5 star situation. But it's solid place

Yelp
We had our dinner delivered + I am super impressed! I ordered the Seared Scallops with Snow Peas + Jasmine Rice paired with a refreshing Thai tea with no ice. I honestly have zero complaints. I would probably order it with no onions in the future if I were to pay attention to that detail but I just push them to the side. I did order my scallops at medium heat which was perrrfect and honestly pretty spicy. It leaves a little lingering tingle in your mouth after you take a break between bites if you're watching a movie but it's in no way overwhelming. I'll definitely return and I can imagine how much better it is during dine in.

Yelp
Ok, so I first discovered this place when I started my new job; which was 3 years ago. My team would come here a lot! I love Thai food and sushi and was pleasantly surprised this place carried both options. My go to Thai dish from any Thai restaurant is the chicken pad see ew. Love the flavors and taste. This is definitely my favorite Thai food. Therefore, you bet I ordered it from here and it was great! I've had it many times and it satisfies my craving. I have noticed they have changed their packaging though. It now comes in a round container (similar to ramen takeout). I also get some sushi sometimes. Recently I ordered the spicy tuna on crispy rice. It came with avocado and was 4 slices. Delicious. Their cucumber salad is also very good, love the taste and it's refreshing to me. However it is in a much smaller container. This time around I got their seaweed salad to try. It was my first time ordering this salad. The container was super tiny and not worth the price in my opinion. Also, it had an unusual flavor, I think the way it was seasoned. I would definitely not get this again and will stick to the cucumber salad for sure. This place has some great options for food, so give it a try!!

Yelp
Great service and food , I wish my salmon in the salad with will be more juicy. Otherwise warm atmosphere and soft music. We enjoyed our time there.

Yelp
I really like the charming character and food at this place. It has been my lunch spot for years. It gets busy but the service is consistently good at any time of day. And yes...there might be a wait, so get over it.
