"You can count the number of “official” lesbian bars in NYC on one hand. But even if it wasn’t just one of the few, Ginger’s Bar in Park Slope would still be one of its best, largely due to its versatility. We’ve had just as much fun here hanging solo at the bar as we have dancing on a Saturday night or playing pool on a Sunday afternoon. Ginger’s also gets bonus points for its backyard and Spice Girls memorabilia behind the bar. "While Ginger’s in Park Slope is a lesbian hangout at its core, the bar welcomes all members of the queer community and attracts bar goers of all ages and genders. It’s a legit dive with cheap drinks, kitschy decor, and a pool table. There’s an enclosed garden out back, and the bar never feels clubby, so it’s an ideal spot for a chill night of pool and music.
