Ginjan Cafe

The coffee, dishes, and treats are great. The service is excellent and it's very laptop-friendly. I came here to work on a Thursday and was surprised at how beneficial the atmosphere was. This is really a wonderful place to grab a coffee and work. They have a number of outlets throughout. The only improvement I'd ask for is to add a multi-port outlet in the center wooden table so the large space, could contain all whom need to work.

I really enjoyed the espresso and the atmosphere of the cafe was very pleasant. My only issue here was when I was quietly sitting and slowly drinking, I felt somebody was standing on top of me “rushing” me to finish. I understand service where you must pick up after someone that might leave a mess, however I wasn’t finished. I was prepared to order something else yet the woman, who was respectfully just doing her job (I don’t know if she was the owner or just worked there) could’ve just allowed me to enjoy my stay. I seen other customers in there at the table quietly working (some didn’t even have a drink or food!) and she didn’t go over to them or stand over them. All I’m looking for is a nice coffee shop near my new place. I’m a loyal customer and am willing to come daily. I really didn’t appreciate how I felt in that moment so I just quietly packed up, finished my little espresso and left. If you’re already a customer there I guess this doesn’t apply to you. My apologies if this comes off rude in anyway as well. I’ll try again some other time maybe. Peace.

This place is Amazing!! We came here for a quick bite and coffee before our morning hike upstate and we were super pleased with the service and the varieties of unique teas and health shots they offered. I ordered an egg wrap and the bissap hot tea (which has plenty of spices and is so aromatic). The baristas were kind and as we were about to leave, offered us free samples of their health-shots (the ginger, kenkeliba & attaye flavors). I don't know how they make them but they tasted real delicious & healthy. We promised them we were gonna come back! The place is also cozy and artsy, decorated with the beautiful flags of all 54 countries in Africa. 🌍 💯 I definitely recommend this place.

Drink 1, ginger #2 is bissap both drinks were refreshing not sweet, and favor full I ordered there Yassa and cassava fries Clean and, peaceful this cafe is located beside the north of Harlem. My first time trying cassava fries its great!! Overall 10/10👍‼️

Clean cozy cafe, a true fortress in contrast to the chaos 125th St has to offer. It’s like night n day when you first walk in. Traditional Congo music plays and the food takes me home. Fresh ginger juice both refreshing and thirst quenching! A proper jollof and a side of cassava fries crisp to perfection! Let’s not forget about the sinus opening scotch bonnet sauce! Everything is a smash HIT! The service is extremely inviting and creates a welcoming environment. Whether you’re studying, working from home, or having a lunch with a friend, Ginjan Cafe is where you come to escape the uptown funk.

Great food and coffee, got the egg wrap which was delicious with their hot sauce! My mom and I also tried the monkey bread which was incredible. The employees were all super friendly as well. Would recommend as a great spot to get some food and do some remote work :)

Their iced cappuccino is superb: smooth with foam, rich coffee taste with the right balance of bitterness and cream. And the blueberry scone—so crumbly, so buttery, with a hint of fruit and crunch of sugar. Wow!

Located right next to the amtrak station. I don't know if they have Internet for customer. The have pastries croissant and muffins. Coffee from la colombe.
