"Bad news first: it’s not properly in the city center and you need to take a taxi to get there. Good news: it will be worth every second of your trip. Gino Fabbri is the best pastry chef in Bologna, no doubt about it. All he does is give you first-quality butter, milk, flour and vanilla. He learned how to combine them after many years of practice. Plus, he looks like the Bolognese cheerful grandfather. You need an offensive strategy: focus on a croissant filled with custard cream and attack in the flank with some mignons. Get the panettone iif you're there for Christmas." - Taste Bologna

Consistently excellent. The service here is always friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular even if it's your first visit. The pastries and sweets are incredibly fresh—flaky, rich, and never overly sweet. The cakes are not just delicious but also beautifully crafted, perfect for special occasions or just because. Their outdoor patio is a gem—shaded, peaceful, and a great spot to unwind with a coffee and something sweet. You can tell this place puts care into everything they do. Definitely a go-to for quality and comfort.

What a place! Worth while visiting if you're mobile. The best tea in a coffee country 😋 we came for the tiramisu and couldn't resist trying out other home specialties. Was ever so tasty and beautiful and the service out standing

Valeria, Morena and Gino were spectacular. My wife and I are touched by their incredible work. Their dedication to customer service and the highest quality is evident in all areas of their business. Go, go, go there and experience what quality delivered by a world champion means!

We had breakfast here on our last day in Bologna. We had cremacotta and the calzone millefiore as recommended by the staff and they were declicious! It was hard to not want to eat a lot more! Place is 10-15 min by car from city center. We had a car while in Bologna so not sure how to visit this place via public transportation when you’re staying within the city.

The brioche are light and fluffy, filled with fresh cream. So delightful. I want to eat this everyday.

We've been there 3 times, location it's nice in the summer with the outside table, not so much in the winter, the leave those wet. Two stars because they won't accept electronic payments for less than 10€ and it's totally outdated and even against the law. I really liked the pastry but the last two times they runned out of illy's filtered coffee powder and we went there for that reason and because the door to go on the outside seating it's not even a proper door to enter you need to grab a mini handle 50cm from the floor, so annoying, upgrade it!

One of the best cafes in Italy. Pastry is so fresh and well made. I had one with custard. Goes so well with the coffee. A must try.
