Inside, Ginya Izakaya feels just as frenzied—but in a fun way. Chatter and laughter fill the air while bowls of steaming ramen make contrails from the kitchen to the table. It won't be easy to decide what you want from the novel-length menu of sushi, noodles, and small plates. Inside, Ginya Izakaya feels just as frenzied—but in a fun way since chatter and laughter fill the air along with the aroma from steaming bowls of ramen. It wont be easy to decide what you want from the book-length menu of sushi, noodles, and small plates. Everything from the jalapeño hamachi to the takoyaki is something worth ordering visit after visit. All we can suggest is to bring more friends so you can order more things. "This restaurant is hiding in plain sight in Berkeley Park, just south of I-75 at Northside Drive. It may not be as popular as its Doraville sibling Shoya Izakaya, but local residents know Ginya Izakaya is the real deal. The menu here is extensive, with sushi and ramen counted among the most oft-ordered items. For a true izakaya experience, order everything served family style, from the lotus chips and ko-ebi-karaage (fried shrimp) to bowls of yakisoba and udon and plates of okonomiyaki." - Beth McKibben
