My Dad wanted Spaghetti for dinner. I remembered he liked Giovanni's Spaghetti. This restaurant is conveniently located off Crowley Road. So, I headed there only to discover they were closed and open at 4 pm?
I walked in and the owner quickly said, We are not open. Then the guy behind him said, come on in. Then the owner said, he will take care of you. Then, another guy said come, sit down, and he proceeded to turn the TV on. Then, he asked me if I wanted a drink. I said, 'Sure if it's on the house." Lol. He said, I'll make you some fresh Tea. I said ok. Then he asked, how the Tea was. I said, It's good!" He said , Do you need anything else? I asked for some lemons and he brought it out. I waited just a few minutes and my order was ready! The cook brought my food out with a smile. The waiter came and said, would you like a bag for that? I said, Yea, that would be helpful! Then he said, would you like some more Tea and filled my drink up!
He also, wanted me to have a menu before I left but, he couldnt find one so he gave me a business card. He asked, if I wanted anything else. I explained, I was having soup and my Dad was having the Spaghetti. The waiter said, "I see."
I ordered the Tortellini Soup. It was delicious. It wasy my first time ordering this kind of soup. It was not listed on the Menu. I asked for it. My Soup was loaded with oil Butter and Salt making it creamy and flavorful. My soup had lots of Pasta, Zucchini, and Squash as well.
The waiter went above and beyond for me. He was so nice to me. He treated me like, I was a friend in his home. I don't think I've been to a restaurant where I was made to feel this way! Therefore, I highly recommend this restaurant not just for the service but for the great tasting food.
