Oh? No English review of this place? Guess I'm just going to review the restaurant Girandole then!
I had their breakfast buffet here as well as their weekend dinner, which while expensive, was definitely up to standards and I can vouch for their prices. There are rave reviews for their breakfast buffet, and I am glad I also had a chance to try it out.
Since it was the weekend the price was 3900 Yen for their Girandole Breakfast Buffet, but thankfully they also provided a series of delectable sides and dishes that usually would coincide with an expensive selection. Upon sitting down, the waitresses will ask what kind of eggs you would like to accommodate your breakfast. I chose two hardboiled eggs and they came out on this lovely tray. The typical coffee and tea also comes out but a the variation of coffee is astounding, from white coffee to cappuccinos to lattes, you can try them all!
You get a selection of juices, morning bakeries (I MEAN A LOT), cereals, yoghurt, bircher muesli, fresh fruits, dried fruits, lots of greens, selection of cold meats, smoked salmon and a variety of cheeses! Then you have the typical American styled breakfast choices like scrambled eggs (delicious), bacon, sausage, more MEAT, and a ton more that I barely can visibly remember after eating so much!
I also had their holiday weekend dinner, but to my bewildered amusement I cannot find the menu that describes the most amazing dinner I had in Japan!
Regardless, this beautiful, intricate and amazing place is worth the visit!
