"This South Slope cafe is open 24 hours, but it’s worth visiting during the morning when the smells of conchas and champurrado slip out onto the sidewalk. A small grill churns out huaraches, cemitas, and other Mexican fare, including a breakfast burrito different than most others in the city. A whole potato is boiled until tender and salty, then wrapped up with American cheese, griddled egg, and sausage or another breakfast meat. Actually ordered from doordash and they went above and beyond to call me and confirm if it was ok if they substitute something because they ran out. Most places would either replace it or just inconvenience you by cancelling it. Truly appreciate that and every time i order food from here the taste is amazing and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend

Went back a second time and got empanadas again, still solid. Tried their corn arepa, was beautifully sweet and crunchy but not too sweet. Chorizo came with extra potatoes, not sure if it was included or if it was a free gift, but super welcome. The baker manning the counter was super friendly and down to offer recommendations as per usual. Great place!

Stopped by for something quick to eat and I was really surprised. Friendly and professional service and the food and bakery items were beyond what I expected. Rellenos de Yuca were perfect! Bread with cheese inside was amazing and fresh. Thanks so much. 🙏🏼

Gross. I went in to buy croissants, I figured mhm let me try this spot since it’s in the area. Big mistake! My all two of my croissants were stale and had a bitter taste. It seems like the bakeries items were left on the shelves over night. This is a mediocre bakery. But the gentleman that was providing the service was nice. But he knew he was serving me stale food because he has to grab it and cut the croissants open. Unreal.

I ordered on door dash and they didn't even get the order correct. Trying to help Latino business but can't get the order right. That was March 4. Today, March 22, AGAIN THE SAME ISSUE!!!! Missing items after waiting for over an hour for it to be delivered. If you can't read English hire someone who does

Great service, friendly staff, fast and efficient. I ordered a while flan at 8pm (after closing hours posted), it was ready by 8:30 am. Will report on taste later. When I went to pick it up, decided to pick up breakfast too. The beef empanadas were fine, but mostly potato, the chicken empanada was mostly chicken. The bread with cheese, was light on cheese but still good, the sweet cheese Danish was as expected. The coffee was good.

One of the best bakeries in the area, the worker who is there practically every Sunday is amazing and so sweet and prepares the best ice coffees! The empanadas are also sooo tasty and go really great with their sauces.
