Very much enjoyed the vibe of this place. Admittedly for wholly selfish reasons, I would have loved it if there were a selection of English books. Great book place nevertheless.

I loved this place. I got an aperitivo and some beer. Local cold beer was amazing and after walking a good amount, the beer hit the spot. Very chill and laidback. I needed to get out of the center and this was the best way to come back to earth. Good wifi as well and lo-fi jams. What else can you ask for? Great experience

An amazing place to wind down, relax and get some work done! It's a great change of pace from the ever-busy city, and provides good food and beverage options. The staff are also very nice!

I went to the neighborhood to check out specifically this place and work on some writing on a cold fall day. This seems to ve a wonderful-looking cafe/bookstore, but it is not a place to hang out if you want to enjoy the atmosphere while you write, read or work on your computer. If you try to pull out a computer they will ask you to leave, at least if you are a foreigner since I did see Italians with computers being served on the premises. If you are a foreigner, do not read Italian and cannot browse/buy books - you have no business coming to this cafe since you can literally only drink coffee not linger or work like you would do on any other bookstore cafe: hangout, work on something and take breaks maybe chatting with people you meet. This coffee shop should not be on any work-friendly lists, I am somewhat disappointed since I was looking forward to it and other reviewers here stated that they went there to work with their laptops. It really left me feeling singled out which is a pretty bad experience for a customer of any business.

when i was in rome the first time in 2007, i stumbled into this gorgeous little shop. when i came back in 2021, the shop is still there and the owners are still so nice and considerate. also their snacks are very tasty. nice place to have an aperitivo and hang out (and buy some books :-))

It is a very beautiful place, but many people may mistakenly come to study at Guifà, thinking it is a study cafe. Unfortunately, the cafe staff do not allow you to study and kindly ask you to leave. However, if they had stated that studying is not allowed when they first saw the laptop/notebooks, before entering and sitting down, before ordering, maybe people would have been less aggrieved. It was mentioned in many places on the internet as "a cafe where you can study in peace" but I think there was a misunderstanding by customers. It is not nice for a person coming from afar and putting notebooks, ask a place to plug-in the computer, to not be warned about his laptop/notebook and then, after placing an order, to be kindly fired because of his laptop/notebook that they say they didn't see it before (?). However, it is a very nice cafe to sit for a short time and buy books.

A cosy little coffee shop with good coffee and pastries plus a fascinating variety of books.

I liked it very much. Tasty food and coffee. No toilet seat!
