"Glass House practically sits at the doorstep of the Whiteaker neighborhood just off the busy West 6th Avenue corridor. The cafe serves as the storefront for Radiant Coffee, a roastery business with roots in Eugene. The sunny, plant-filled shop features a relatively robust breakfast menu to augment its espresso drinks including buttermilk biscuit breakfast sandwiches (also in a vegan version with a bagel and Impossible meat patty), biscuits and mushroom or sausage gravy, and quiche, plus requisite pastries. Seating is somewhat limited." - Brenna Houck

Stopped in for breakfast before a meeting and was greeted with a smile and welcome right away. I had the biscuits and gravy which were phenomenal.

Great matcha and baked goods! The blueberry muffins are to die for

Google
Super Cute Coffee Shop Next to the best Taco Shop in town! The staff here was pleasant and super helpful! They sell great Coffee! Their Caramel Breve was top notch! I also ordered the Golden Tumeric Latte.. It was very spiced, beautiful, but not my favorite. But that is just my preference. The place is super cute with loads or plants and windows for natural light. They also have small table top games to enjoy with friends! They also have Gluten Free Options and Milk Alternatives to those who have allergies!

Very yummy food, cute atmosphere and friendly staff! Visited Eugene and stopped for breakfast for the vegan options. I had the biscuits & gravy, my partner had the bagel sandwich, both vegan and very delicious! Will be returning next time we are in the area:)

Google
Super cute shop, kind baristas, good food, great coffee. I stopped in this morning (twice) on a work trip and had an excellent experience. I got an iced americano, which I’m picky about due to being a former barista, and it was PERFECT. I also got a bagel breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. I will 1,000% be coming back the next time I’m in town.

I got the mocha as I'm on the hunt for the best mocha in town. It had a rich velvetiness that I've become fond of in a lot of mocha in town. A bit light on the chocolate and that's speaking as a person who doesn't mind a mild amount of chocolate in her mocha. 3.5/5 would buy again but not my favorite. Loved the atmosphere.

Gluten free biscuits were crispy and delicious, the matcha was perfect. Vegan mushroom gravy was so tasty!

WONDERFUL coffee. Biscuits and gravy are amazing! Adorable shop with lots of succulents. This place is such a vibe :)

Yelp
Came for breakfast to this coffee house in Eugene. Glass House is certainly a good fit around here. It happens to be one of many hip places in Whiteaker. Also more than just coffee. There's breakfast sandwiches including some plant based stuff. A small place but has lots of charm. It's a popular choice to get things to go. The better idea is staying inside though. As long as it's not too crowded. Totally has a hip environmental vibe. It's about $2 for House Coffee. This is basic but there's lots to add into it. Even better is the food. It's about $7 for a sandwich. Has things that are plant based. We each got the Vegan Breakfast Sandwich. Looks a little like a real meaty one but it isn't. This comes with an Impossible sausage patty, fake cheddar, and a fake egg patty. Best place for coffee in this hipster area. It's got a lot of activism going on and is a popular meeting spot. There's a whole lot for vegans and vegetarians.

Yelp
Small coffee shop with so much natural light. This is a great place to sit and people watch and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Their vegan biscuits and gravy are delicious, but can sometimes be a bit overly peppery, so be aware if you are sensitive to spice. Their coffee is great and I am always treated with friendly smiles by staff.

Yelp
Another wonderful stop, another cup of my favorite beverage. The Breve latte gets a 10/10. The milk was the perfect temp. I could taste a smooth coffee without too much acidity. Service was great. Barista was knowledgeable and friendly. They weren't "in your face" but also attentive. The ambience is quiet and peaceful. The decor feels Eugene eclectic. The plants add a cozy touch and create a sense of outdoor tranquility juxtaposed to the cityscape. If you are introvert, this spot is a perfect place to have a cup of coffee without much noise. The music volume was turned down. There appeared to be many individuals enjoying their alone time. I went during the morning and there was no line. Thank you, Glass House!

Yelp
Super sweet place, and very nice workers! Definitely a much go when you're in Eugene!

Tim L.

Yelp
Came in and ordered a dirty chai and a Breakfast sammich and they made them exactly as I asked. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and knowledgeable and overall just a great experience

Michael D.

Yelp
Great latte. Super nice baristas. Very comfortable. A premiere Eugene coffee spot. So happy we stopped by. Added sunshine to a rainy morning.

Makenzie Y.

Yelp
Very yummy! They have a lot of fun and delicious treats, and options for dietary needs. My favorite? Vegan sausage, egg and cheese. SO yummy! And on a bagel, plain or everything. I like their coffee, if you get iced though pre-warning the cups are very small! But still delicious. The employees are nice and overall have a good atmosphere. It is a smaller place and usually full, so plan to grab and go or bundle up to sit outside (or just dress according to the weather) their outside seating is nice too! Parking is meh. In the Whitt. So up to you how you feel about street parking. My husband and I go about every other week, I'm just pointing out the pros and cons for ya!

Eddie B.

Yelp
Ambience and service was fantastic. I would come here again as the had vegan food options, I got a vegan "pop tart" and it was out of this world. Cold brew is delicious as well. Staff very friendly, enough chit chat to be nice but don't hold up line. Great little spot!

Connor E.

Yelp
This is a cute little coffee shop right on the corner of Blair Blvd, the atmosphere is hip and definitely fits the area. The coffee tastes great and they have a pretty food menu with pastries and other choices like my favorite biscuits and gravy.

Parker B.

Yelp
super cute little cafe! lots of plants and little knick knacks around. very friendly staff and good coffee! they also had tons of pastries and food that looked good but we didn't get any.

Deborah L.

Yelp
We stumbled on this great spot by accident & so glad we did! Wonderful lattes! Really ++ yummy quiche. And the 2 women working there were very friendly & helpful giving us tips about areas of Eugene to visit. Highly recommend

Shane C.

Yelp
A nice little cafe. All that I can comment on are the coffees because that's all we had. Our lattes were fantastic. It's clear the baristo knew what he was doing. He knew that if you wanted cinnamon, he knew to put it in before adding the milk and coffee so it blends in thoroughly. Partner had a latte with oat milk and it was great. Mine with regular milk was great too. They were both properly hot.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
What an adorable little coffee spot in the Whiteaker neighborhood located in the parking lot of Tocovore. I love the Glass House for their Saku Superfood Latte menu. These are beverages made of ingredients that are unique and are newer trends in the coffee world. Drinks like the Golden Orange made of turmeric and Orange Peels. Or the Ruby Ginger consisting of beetroot and ginger. On this morning I ordered the Vanilla Maple Jade, a latte made of Matcha, maple crystals, coconut and vanilla. It was so good! The matcha and maple really complimented each other nicely. Very strong earthy flavors with a round robust maple aftertaste and altogether not too sweet. They also have a standard coffee menu if that is more your thing. Don't come here hungry as there food selection is limited. They offer a small selection of pastries but nothing really savory.

James L.

Yelp
It's just a cool and comfortable vibe here, warm and welcoming. This is the Whit, so you can just fold into the scene. The coffee is good, not great. But I'm not a total coffee snob like my buddy Chad. He's a real pain in the ass. You come here cuz it's a great place to grab a cup and hang. There are plants and large windows and pastries from Noisette on the counter (Noisette!). So you can work on your laptop for an hour or just sit and chat it up with the lovely woman behind the counter. You want to stay for a while, and you want to come back.

Yelp
Wonderful Coffee Stop in Eugene! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/glass-house-coffee-bar-eugene?select=Qmus_BSB0cVUvtqojJ11Fg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w SITREP If I only have time to make one stop in the City of Eugene while blitzing down I-5, then I will jump onto the I-105 exit and make a beeline to Glass House Coffee Bar for some delicious lattes & mochas! As far as baristas go, April is the bees knees and would be a fantastic rep in whatever city she would find herself. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/glass-house-coffee-bar-eugene?select=x4RA9V2txtT-7Wanlc3voQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w THE COFFEE! The house brew is outstanding. But if I'm on a stretch for a BIT more time (like 30 mins to an hour), I'll pop for something a bit more extravagant, like the Salted Bourbon Latte - now THAT'S how you kick start your day for a blitz trek all the way back to Sacramento. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/glass-house-coffee-bar-eugene?select=TpRkPfCFlgfNOIVFkb0IJQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0w THE ART! Yelp
Didn't get her name but she's from Colorado and very welcoming. Coffee gave me a spark I needed and the breakfast biscuit was

Yelp
I was in Oregon visiting last week and I tried their chai with half almond half coconut milk. It was spicy deliciousness and the perfect foamy temperature. One of the spicier chais I've had but that isn't a bad thing in the slightest! I love the atmosphere with all the beautiful plant life and the open, natural feel to the spot. It felt like somewhere I could bring a book to get lost in while enjoying homemade delicacies and gorgeous beverages. 10/10 do recommend! Not to mention the staff is cool af!

Miss M.

Yelp
I love this sweet little Coffee house... The owner "A" roasted and makes this incredible Tomatoes Jam... It's kind of Ridiculous and Necessary for your visit if you get a breakfast biscuit. I Love the team of baristas who are all super sweet, kind and remember your drink after the first time ordering ... Viva La Glass House!!! ‍

Camie K.

Yelp
What a neat little find for our drive back to SF Bay from Portland! It's a small glasshouse filled with all sorts of plants with fun names. I got one of their last hand pies filled with kale and sweet potatoes omg so good!! Great place to check out even if you don't drink coffee as they have tea lattes too.

Amanda W.

Yelp
I cannot express enough how much I love this place. The coffee, the food, the baristas, the atmosphere. It's all top notch. I'll start with the coffee. Everything is roasted and made in-house, even the syrups! I always get an iced lavender latte and the only complaint I have about the place is they don't sell huge volume drinks! Every time I go in I'm praying to the pastry gods that they have hand pies in stock. These are made fresh from scratch, just like everything else, and are divine. They're kind of like cheese danishes but stuffed with all sorts of goodness. The most recent one I had was filled with onion, sweet potato, kale, and cheese (I think). Request to have it warmed! They usually have savory and sweet pastries so just ask! I also got a blueberry muffin for a family member the other day and was told it was the best blueberry muffin he'd ever had. Ever. The baristas are SO friendly and welcoming. They're very accommodating and happy to answer your dumb questions. Vic now knows my partner's and my drinks and gets them going when we walk in. They've all been nothing short of wonderful. Ok they have a propagation station for plants. Excuse me what?! You can take a cutting by trading in a cutting of your own. How cool! I've yet to take any plant cuttings, but I'm terrible at transplanting anyway. I love the idea though and the atmosphere is entirely lifted with all the plant ambiance. Shake up your coffee ritual with this place. You won't regret it!

Michelle V.

Yelp
Ordered cold brew with CBD (first timer, want to experience the oregon culture) of drink black, great flavor. Will give it 4 stars due to offering no unsweetened milk alternatives.

Mia T.

Yelp
Excellent coffee and espresso drinks. Very lovely atmosphere inside with all the beautiful indoor plants and relaxed customers sipping drinks and socializing or reading/studying. I can count on getting a tasty well-prepared beverage when I visit, which I do weekly during the colder months. I do wish the business would set limits with persons who aggressively panhandle the clientele as well as the staff and create an unwelcome environment surrounding location on the street corners as they display intoxicated and erratic behavior for hours without recourse. I do not look forward to the warmer months when this becomes an everyday occurrence, and, when I no longer feel comfortable patronizing the business.

Ashley M.

Yelp
I love their chai tea lattes with hemp milk! You can get sweet or spicy but I think spicy is the best. Their prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly. I love the cute succulent plants and small sitting area with big windows for natural light and people watching in the Whiteaker. They have some croissants and other pastries and even cocktails! The Glass House Coffee Bar is connected to Tacovore as well. There is a small parking lot but plenty of street parking. Their chai lattes will keep me coming back again and again!

Brittney J.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop in Eugene! They're all so nice & make you feel welcome. They started added a bunch of awesome breakfast stuff to their menu & everything is SO GOOD!! Just do yourself a favor & go here

Alex L.

Yelp
Lovely place with mellow, local vibes. The barista also took my order and was friendly and apologetic when they informed me they didn't have avocados (how else can I be a financially irresponsible millennial?!). Decided to have a bagel instead and a cappuccino. Both were served promptly but I did have enough time to look around and enjoy the plants and little details hidden around this charming space. My coffee was delicious and the bagel too. Seems they have plenty of non-cow milk options too for vegan and lactose-free friends. The space isn't ideal for marathon studying but I would come back for good coffee and even better plant names.

Macy V.

Yelp
This is my go-to coffee shop. They have great vegan options, including breakfast sandwiches and drinks. The staff are so kind and the establishment is clean. Love this place.

Christy C.

Yelp
The coffee here is so good. House-made syrups and whip cream are so amazing. Friendly staff.

Helen B.

Yelp
Service awesome Presentation lovely Location works Coffee fruity as can be. Not my favorite.

Kasey F.

Yelp
I have come here three times and each time the coffee was bad. Despite asking for extra ice, the iced americano was extremely watery with hardly any ice, the espresso tasted different every time and was very meat-like while also seeming under extracted. Dear god and why was my cortado 8oz and too hot??? A cortado is equal parts espresso and steamed milk served at a warm drinking temperature. I will keep going here though because equiano isn't open everyday and I don't want to walk far. 2 stars because this cafe has pushed me to make my own cold brew and V60s which has helped me save money.

Eunsoo J.

Yelp
I have visited Glass House Coffe bar for a quick coffee! I love the vibe and cute atmosphere, locals come here to chat and very friendly. I had awesome cortado and I would definitely come back when I come to visit Eugene. Very great quality and good price!

Mike S.

Yelp
I like their house drip coffee, and their indoor space is beautiful! Adorned with lots of plants, it feels alive and green, like you're starting your day in a greenhouse!

Nicole E.

Yelp
They make the Best cofee! Exactly how you want it. Every.Single. time. Also a locally owned small business with a great atmosphere :)

Riki Y.

Yelp
Small little cafe with a simple menu including some baked goods. The coffee was great. I had a hazelnut latte with a ham and gruyere cheese croissant. The croissant was delicious. Service was fantastic. Free wi-fi and the music was mellow and allowed for work to be done such as writing. The window seats are the best. The parking is on street or in their small parking lot so know this can be a challenge. I would not recommend kids as the space is small and patrons come here to concentrate on working where children would be a huge distraction. Enjoy the mellow vibes!

Charles D.

Yelp
Very classic, full bodied roast, with sweet notes of spice. A woman complained about her drink while I was ordering mine and they very graciously gave her something else without any awkwardness at all. My drink was perfect and wonderful. The indoor seating is limited and all taken on the very chilly morning of my visit, so we walked around the neighborhood which is funky and fun, at least for Eugene. The baked goods selection was a little skewed toward the savory than the sweet the day I was there, but well done and had some vegan options.

Matthew C.

Yelp
Glass House has the BEST savory cheese scone! So fluffy and flavorful. And the coffee is on point. Overall, I highly recommend! Also they name their plants and it's very cute.

Matt H.

Yelp
Great little coffee joint! The interior is small, but comfortable as long as it isn't too crowded. There is no kitchen so food options are limited to pastries, but they are unique and high quality. The coffee and tea selection is large, consisting of staples as well as rarer drinks.

Tara P.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Casual, trendy, warm and inviting. A touch of soft yellow brightens up the grey mornings. Service: Friendly, knowledgeable and quick. Food/Beverages: All flavors are made IN HOUSE! I tried the Mexican Mocha, and it was the best I've ever had by far. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Just right! And they can warm up any of their muffins or pastries for you. They have classics like brownies as well as unique flavor combinations that sound very appealing. I'll have to try them all! Overall: I thought $5 for a 12oz Mocha was a bit much (no, that did not include a tip), but I guess that's where the coffee culture in Oregon is going right?! The flavor of the "made from scratch in house" chocolate, great service, and fun atmosphere did make up for the cost. I'd certainly spend some time working on my laptop in there

Kriz W.

Yelp
Had an oat milk latte with housemade salted caramel syrup...was amazing. Very friendly customer service and wonderful decor! Will be back!

Hunter V.

Yelp
Went in on a Sunday to do some studying and find a new coffee shop. The latte and the blueberry scone were both really yummy. Only issue is that there isn't much seating but it worked out, the barista was really helpful and found me a seat at the Tacovore next door which is owned by the same person. Little loud for studying but still a cool spot.

Mackenzie B.

Yelp
Super cute little place. Very casual. And the decor is very welcoming. The service is fast and the people are friendly. Parking is kind of weird, but if you just find a place, my advice is to just take it.

Gregory B.

Yelp
Excellent breve. Small but elegant space. I have not tried other items. When I was there it was fairly full of campers.

Steve L.

Yelp
One of my favorite cafes in Eugene! Tasty coffee and big windows to watch the rain fall!

Clint R.

Yelp
Great coffee spot. Very clean and organized space with lots of nice plants. Seems to have a solid group of friendly regulars. Plenty of options if your not in the mood for coffee as well.

Winnie T.

Yelp
Great little place on the west side of town. Loved the minimalistic decor and the excellent well priced coffee. We got an americano and cappuccino. Both were delicious!!

Koe H.

Yelp
This is in the glassed room beside Tacovore. It was worth a try. Limited seating, very echo-y. I'm glad I didn't mind my conversation being a good overheard. My looseleaf tea wasn't divine, nor was my companion's coffee. Bit overpriced. I wouldn't choose to go back but I'd go if a friend wanted to.

Manuel T.

Yelp
Got a Carmel Mocha! Their Carmel Is made from scratch. I'm not a big Carmel fan. But this is the best I've ever tried!

Luna W.

Yelp
I. LOVE. GLASSHOUSE. The coffee is delicious, always perfectly brewed. The baristas are incredibly friendly, knowledgable and personable. I've been a regular customer now, for well over a year, and I still love my Americano with an extra shot! The building itself is great, as well! It fills with light, so beautifully in the morning... Even on a gray rainy day, it's filled with plants and warm woods, which feel incredibly inviting. Thanks for the great coffee and conversations, Glasshouse, I'm hooked!

Frankie M.

Yelp
We've been to this coffee house 2 times before the name change, also back when they offered their delicious Maple Bacon Latte. The man working the counter, whom we believed to be the owner explained to us the process in which they created their own house made syrups, for specific lattes to one's liking. Overall we were impressed by the uniqueness of varieties such as Maple Bacon and Salted Maple Bourbon. We were also pleased with the friendly and informative customer service to boot! Taking all of those objectives into account, we always kept the idea of visiting again a sure thing had we found ourselves in the Whiteaker neighborhood. Sadly, this third time around (July 24, 2016 at 3:30pm) was a huge disappointment. They must have lowered their standards since the last time we stopped in and hired rookie baristas as replacements. The woman behind the counter (long dark hair, mid-twenties) acted aloof and was not very friendly. The service received wasn't your standard coffee house hipster vibe, which many coffee places give off naturally (I know, I've been in the coffee game a while), this was more of a "why are you even here?" type of vibe. It wasn't just me that felt this emanating from the barista, I was told by my partner he felt the exact same as we both got back in our car. To top it off, my drink wasn't even made correctly. How hard is an Iced Vanilla Latte? I was unable to detect any vanilla flavor in my drink, let alone espresso. Talk about leaving with a bad taste in your mouth, both literally and figuratively! The barista condescendingly added "more" vanilla to my drink after I complained about its lack thereof. At $4.25/12oz, it's fair to say I was taken back by such unprofessional service. Now, the way I see it, paying customers should never be treated this way if you expect to run a viable business, catering to the public. Maybe the lady was having a bad day, but that's not enough reason to slack on the job, serve poorly made coffee and make people supporting your shop feel unwelcome. No one deserves that kind of disrespectful behavior, not even the coffee. I absolutely hope problematic employees such as this get trained better for the sake of: 1) Customers, that are satisfied and will continue to spend money at your establishment 2) Getting, keeping and maintaining a stable business 3) Employees themselves, if they want to make decent tips and still have an existing job. Everyone CAN win. Rating used to be a 3 out of 5. Had high hopes for this place but until they correct some of these problems, i will not be back. Taking everything into account, a star was knocked off leaving the final rating of this coffee bar a 2 out of 5 for me.

Elisa Y.

Yelp
Well accompanying the delicious Americano or cold brew, the positive atmosphere, attractive layout, & kind, knowledgeable staff are all reasons that I return to this spot whenever I'm stopping through Eugene for a visit... Merci à vous !
