I don't get up to Stanley marketplace very often, and I can't remember the last time I went to the Glazed and Confuzed there. However, now that one has opened in my neighborhood, I'll be able to get my fix.
The new location on Yosemite is pretty spartan - just a handful of places to sit and a small case of donuts - but as far as I can tell the donuts are made on the premises and they're kept fresh throughout the day. It would be nice to see them add a self-serve water cooler, put some art up on the walls, play some music, and look for ways to add some polish here and there.
Having said this, the location is brand new (just open about 2 weeks as I write this), and I assume more polish is pending.
Just like the other location, the donuts hear are hearty, with a variety of flavors. The selection was not huge - only 10 flavors or so - but all the right ones were available. The staff was nice, the prices were reasonable considering these things are fresh and unique ($3-3.50 for a donut, with a discount if you buy a dozen), and the place was clean.
If I can say anything bad about this pace, it's that it's probably going to be full of high school and middle school kids at various points between 7:00am and 5:00pm. It's a very short walk to Cherry Creek High School (and I think Campus? Middle School), so there are always kids prowling this strip mall.
Still, my new easy weekend morning will be breakfast at French Press (right next door), and then a nice walk over to the Glazed and Confused donut shop...this neighborhood is getting better every day!
