Nature and Parks in Berlin

"Another of Berlin’s idiosyncratic green spaces, the “track triangle” gets its name from its location on the former site of the Potsdamer freight station, where three different train lines meet. A wasteland for a couple of decades after the Wall fell, the area was transformed into this public park between 2011 and 2013, making it one of the city’s newest. Its pristine, meticulously landscaped feel is indeed a whole different aesthetic for scruffy Berlin and has won it various prizes for urban planning and architecture. Aside from the many smooth pathways for jogging, cycling, and rollerblading, there are some preserved wild areas, a rose scent garden, skate areas, plenty of opportunities to play table-tennis, and lots of playgrounds, The presence of a couple of cafes and a hip local brewery, beer garden, and restaurant (BRLO) make it a huge hit in summer." - MATADOR_NETWORK

One of the best park to spend time with family and friends. It’s having big children play area with swings and rides. A big skate area and few options to buy snacks and ice cream.

Really cool skatepark, adapted for BMX use. Two bowls, a small and a medium / large one with an almost overwall. I've spend so much time there that I could call it my local skatepark. Is small but there's a lot of different opportunities, even when riding the smaller bowl. The only drawback is that there are sometimes many kids with scooters that have no knowledge about the skatepark inner rules.

BMX, Skateboard and Kickbikes share this pool and is the heart of Gleisdreick I would say. Next to it is a graffiti wall that is constantly being updated with new fresh creations as well as a streetsoccer field and some (pretty crappy) basketball hoops.

Wonderful park we explored looking at dance performances. The playground is awesome, take picnic basket, balls and racquets for a full day of fun!
