Glitter Gulch Tiki

Another new tiki bar in Vegas! Oh how I wished I could live here! And this one doesn’t disappoint. We were greeted so warmly by the hostess and sat down right away. It was a Monday night so it was very quiet. The drinks were really good - I got a 3 dots and a dash version. Hubby got a painkiller. The menu is huge and some drinks have little tweaks done to them to make them stand out from the original. I can’t wait to go back!

After being open for a couple of weeks, I was excited to check this place out while I was in town. I got there shortly after they opened that day and luckily I got there before it got busy. I was greeted very quickly and before I knew it, Zoe had a Hurricane in front of me that rivals Pat O'Brien's! I worked the drink for a while and the whole time, Zoe was attentive, friendly and made some great conversation with me. We talked everything from Tiki bars to tequila! I ended up getting some food and she convinced me to get the wings. I am a foodie and have had some pretty amazing wings in the past, but these were top notch! Spicy, sweet, a nice little char and very tender. Mid way through my meal, I met Freddie, who offered some more Tiki suggestions of places to go, we talked Tiki mugs and he left a great impression! I also got the chance to meet Jay Ray who KNOWS Tiki. An amazing guy from Oahu who made me a variation of a Jungle Bird that I'm still craving! I could have stayed there all night! They really go out of their way to make you feel at home! A very special thanks to Zoe, Freddie and Jay Ray for making things great for me. I went to 6 Tiki bars on this visit and this one, by far, was the best from the atmosphere to the service and the quality of the drinks and food. This will be a regular stop for me every time I am back in Vegas. Do yourself a favor and go visit!!!

This amazing new spot is killer. We absolutely loved everything but ... One... Problem. We were greeted by an enthusiastic bartender and and waitress. First off, the ambiance is dark and perfect for a night out of fun! The drinks are just perfect. The bartender was so kind and knows his stuff! Price is competitive with Fremont. The food... We got the Pupu Platter and every item on it was stellar. Chicken is moist and flavorful... And. Big! The steak is to die for! So perfectly prepared! The wings are big and pack a punch! The mango salsa... I could eat that for days. The pork pot stickers are wowza! We loved it all! The ONLY thing for us keeping this spot from being a top spot is... The music! It is awful. It was 90 percent cover songs from the 80's and 90's like maybe from some lame Spotify playlist that was not the vibe we wanted at all. Almost elevator music. It made us want to leave. Play ska, or punk, or Polynesian retro music. It is offensive what is playing in such a cool place with such incredible decor and top-notch tiki food and drinks. Or maybe just not OUR cup of tea?

I was fortunate enough to be in town for the grand opening weekend and got to check out this new Tiki bar. What a treat! They absolutely nailed the ambiance and decor. The Island Kalua Pork Bowl was spot on. And of course the drinks were delightful. Our server Diamond made several great drink recommendations. Very happy with our experience here.

We had a good experience here - the server was very sweet and the food and drinks were tasty. It’s a little on the pricey side, but with tiki bars coming back into popularity, that’s to be expected. The booths are very cozy and private.

Loved the tiki cocktails I ordered from here, and the spam fried rice bowl I got to go with the drinks. Not only was there plenty of veggies and chopped up Spam, but they put some generous full slices of Spam on top of the fried rice. Good drinks, good food, good vibes, and well worth seeking out especially if you’re in downtown Las Vegas.

The location is prime for those visiting old town Vegas. It has amazing decor and atmosphere, though the excess flesh of female servers feels a bit desperate. Once you try the drinks you wonder if that is all they have going for them.

My wife and I had a truly wonderful experience during our recent visit to this little gem. This place is a must do for any tiki lovers visiting Vegas. The drinks, food, and service were outstanding. Tatiana, our server, was amazing and made excellent food and drinks suggestions!
