I enjoyed the pizza. Nothing new but traditional crust the way I like it. I added toppings and it takes pretty good. Felt like old times. They’ve been here for over 50 years and service is quite good, prices are reasonable and the pizza is delicious. I think I found somewhere new to get my pizza slices from! Yummilicious 😋

It wasnt bad. We customised the flavours. The mushroom one was good. The chicken hawaian was a bit bland. Friendly staff. Same row with Fay Da Bakery in Queens Blvd.

One of my favorite spots to grab a delicious slice of pizza. Add those pep knots on the side and you’re good!

The atmosphere is great , but what does it matter when your the service is so so , I get it it’s a pizza place . How hard can the service be … cashier great , except I was charged $8.50 for a slice of pepperoni and a soda . That’s not the worst part , after I waited for a fresh pie to get my slice …. I received this …… maybe if the guy wasn’t talking to customer on the side about his month vacation in sept and how he’s going to drive to godknows where because he’s tired of his boss and co workers and needs a much needed getaway he wouldn’t have served me this very burnt slice .

Literally the BEST pizza I’ve ever had and this is what you call true New York style pizza all these other pizza shops are knock off’s whenever you hear New York pizza is the best things what they are talking about !!!

Delicious plain slice; saucy and crispy crust. The white slice is delicious, a bit more salty than other places but still a fantastic slice. The pepperoni pinwheel is a satisfying choice for a quick and decent bite. Cash and credit are both accepted, $10 minimum for card purchases. The bathroom is available for patrons. Definitely will be back to try more. 03/2024

I’m usually not a thin crust fan, but I actually really like it. Jesus melts right in your mouth. It’s not super greasy. It’s a very good pizza.

HORRIBLE!! NEVER AGAIN! They had a whole fresh pie and gave me an extremely old slice…. It was not worth an almost $6 slice! Very disappointed!!

OMG!! Yummm!!! Gloria's Pizza is thee best pizza i've had in a long time!! Or should I say "SUPERB" (in the voice of the food critic from the movie "Mystic Pizza"! )) ;-)) It was so tasty and had the perfect amount of cheese AND sauce!! Nothing was lacking! The crust was also perfect, just right! I didn't even have to add any seasoning! It was enjoyable fresh out the oven as is!! Gloria's Pizza is thee bomb!! I just wished i'd tried it sooner! :-) Sheesh, i've been missing out lol!

Among the top pizza establishments in Queens. Always fresh. Sauce is perfect. Crust is perfect. Cooked to perfection. Staff behind the counter is friendly. Place is clean. Go here. It's good.

Wow they were just about sold out- the FH concert guests and Barbie next door. Just a testament to how great their pizza is... but they are champs and had the oven filled with new pies... Between Barbie playing at Midway and the concert they are getting a lot of walk-ins... I had a simple Sicilian and orange drink of what was left and it was served with a smile... thanks guy- the pizza was excellent... P.S. the attitude of the workers was so much better today... they must be reading the comments.. i was pleasantly surprised.

Best pizza in FoHi! Pasta is also solid! I come here about once a week. Robert is the man, he will take care of you!

This place has always been consistent. We have used them to cater multiple event and the food has always been ready on time and fresh. The staff have been helpful weather it's been for an event or just getting a slice. Always great to support a place that has been in business for a while. Great selection of food, drinks and enough space.

This is one of the best pizza places in Forest Hills! The cheese, crust, and cheese are very good, on both the Sicilian and regular slices. The broccoli garlic knots are also so good, with fresh mozzarella and garlic. My husband tried the sausage peppers hero and said it was good too, except for the bread, which wasn't as good as the bread used for the pizza or garlic knots. Overall though great takeout pizza spot! Haven't eaten there so can't comment on eating in.

Neighborhood slice shop that's always been good enough to eat, but never sought after. The regular slice has a nice flavorful sauce and plenty of cheese. However, the thick crust that is more hard than crispy at times leaves something to be desired. I don't dislike it, and will do in a pinch, but not my first choice in the area either.

Wife likes the pizza. Service is sub par thought and beware the older guy... he makes up the prices sometimes.

For all those reading this who grew up in Flushing, Queens. If you hung out on Main Street at any point back in the day you know Gloria Pizza. This is the exact same Gloria Pizza from Main Street. Had the opportunity to visit them recently. The pizza was exactly as I remember it. Even bought a pie to take home. The pizza was flavorful, hot and delicious. If you have the chance to stop by, I highly advise it.

Some of the worst pizza I've ever had. Was craving pizza and decided to try this place again. Pizza was so thick, bland and could have been cooked longer. Super doughy and not much cheese or sauce. Garlic knots were also thick bland and undercooked. Waste of money.

Do yourself a favor: go to Austin Street Pizza, which is just a few blocks away. The food at Gloria's is mid, the ambiance is dirty, and the service is rude. They act like they're doing you a favor. Maybe it's because they didn't have any real competition for a long time. Now they do and I'll be taking my business there.

This pizza is truly the best. I'm 54 now and I remember as a little child when my mom use to take me to Gloria Pizza Parlor when it was in Flushing Main st. in the late 70's and 80's. So for it to be back now in Forest Hills : YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT. The people and the service there is outstanding. This is the best Italian Pizza around and their prices are phenomenal! Go try a slice or get you a pie now. If you want special VIP service, when you get there ask for Robert. You don't have to be famous. He rolls out the red carpet for everyone...

Five stars out of five stars the customer service is great and friendly me and my family have been coming here for years the food is never to disappoint I've had pizzas all over the world and this is easily a top 3 pizza I've ever had. The food is always reliable and fulfilling a must have if you're in the neighborhood. 10/10 would recommend you come here and take friends and family no matter who your with you will be treated like family.

First time ordering fro.Glorias and had it delivered cold. We had a large pepperoni and a personal cheese pie and both were cold. Do you have hot bags for delivery?

Gloria's pizza is typical NY slice and that's fine, especially when you want to grab a quick slice. Sometimes bottom of pie has burnt spots as if baking tray or oven needs scraping. Lots of seating in front and back. Salads are fresh and crunchy. Limited choice of non-caffeine diet sodas. Maybe by now they have diet lemon/lime or orange or ginger ale. Depending on who is behind the counter, service can be excellent, efficient, friendly. Or can be slow, confused, not the greatest hygiene. If you're handling money, don't touch my slice. A guy serving the pizza gave me flimsy box for a whole-pie takeout that was just out of the oven (5 stars). I couldn't carry it: was too hot and bending due to freshness. Argued with me when I asked for a second or sturdier box (0 stars). His colleague quickly stepped in and solved it (5 stars). Overall, friendly and polite. For example, I've come here several times in a group of 3 including an elderly disabled person and we sat for 1 hour with no pressure to leave. Appreciated that.

I would not go back to this place if you paid me. Rude. Very rude. And a rip off. They had a large grandma pie on the menu. But, unlike the other pizzas, I didn't see a small one. So I asked if they could make me one. They said yes, but didn't say they'd charge me for a large pie anyway. I then promised my girlfriend I'd bring her a small one. She didn't want a large one. They overheard my half of the conversation and charged me for a large grandma pie. When I said I thought they made a mistake, the owner said no. They charge the same price whether the grandma pie is large or small, take it or leave it. I took it, but left that place and will never go back. It's strange because all their other pies on the menu come in both large and small sizes. They don't charge the same price for all those other ones, regardless of size. Why only the grandma then? The owner didn't like that question. Stupid move. I'd been a tipping customer up until then. So, ladies and gents, if you go to Gloria's, check your change and receipts. They will try to steal from you if they think they can.

I ordered a Granda Pizza online today. Terrible dough and salty sauce! I'm upset and frustrated. I was craving pizza and I got a rubbery dough with salty sauce.

The pizza and the staff are great! A great community spot. They also have excellent pasta dinners for those with a little patience and a large appetite!

I was so disappointed with their grandma slice. It was my first time ordering from so I thought why not give it a chance. I placed a pickup order through seamless. Based on their description, it's supposed to be a thin crust Sicilian with mozzarella and basil. That was not the case. I received a slice from a round pie with a patches of tomato sauce, no basil or mozzarella. When I called them, they said "we make two versions. We ran out of the Sicilian, so we gave you the round one instead." When I told them it doesn't seem like this has the toppings noted in the descriptions, they yelled "it's a grandma. Just eat try it" and hung up. I will tell you that it did not taste like the grandma slice. I will not order from them again. Food: 1/5 - The dough was soggy, and the cheese was hard. Service: -1/5 - Rude and yells at their customers

This is what I call an old time pizza place. They make a great pie. Their salads are good too. Really like their house dressing. Favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza.

Really good pizza here. I've always passed this place and heard it was good but have never tried it until now. The are delivering and offering take out right now. It's right next to the movie theatre on the Blvd. The pizza is pretty good. Warm and fresh on arrival so that's always great. They have a full dinner and lunch menu as well. I want to try their full menu as well. Hopefully they are consistent with the pizza though next time I order. That always gets a plus in my opinion.

Beware that Gloria Pizza charges 4% surcharge for credit cards ... their disclaimer is on the cash register but in tiny print and there is a small sign that frequently covers the surcharge notice so customers can't see it.

BELIEVE EVERY REVIEW THAT SAYS THE EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE! I went in around 4pm today to grab a slice, as I've been trying every slice joint in Forest Hills, and this was next on my list. Funny enough, about two months ago I would've been able to have a slice before trying to catch a Long Island railroad train, but the guy said it would take 10 minutes for the next plain pie to be made. The gentleman making the pizza (I later found out he's a manager) put my slice in the oven to warm up. As I was waiting, I heard him say they have zeppoles. I asked if they were made recently and he laughed at me and said "Of course not, they're all made in the morning." I said, "OK if you said you made them in the last 1/2 hour or so I would've added them to my order." His reply was "All restaurants make their zeppoles for the entire day in the morning." I said "Maybe you guys do, but I know places that don't. Even street fair carts will fry them to order." He then makes excuses about why no one does it to order and tells me he "knows the restaurant industry and anyone who says they make them to order are lying." I told him "I know more than one restaurant that fries dough to order." It could've ended there but he proceeds to argue with me further. I told him "I don't know what incentive you have to argue with a first-time customer, so perhaps you should just stop." He goes on and repeats what he was saying before, just to get the last word. I say "I hope your pizza is good, otherwise I'm never coming back." He said "You know what? I don't want your business. You can leave now!" I've never been refused service from any restaurant before! That said, with Rosalia's, Nick's, and Austin St. Pizza (the latter being my favorite), I don't need to patronize Gloria for good pizza. I hope the owner reads these reviews, but based on the plethora of negative reviews this place gets just on employees being rude, I don't think so.

Great traditional no frills New York pizza! Just what I wanted. Nothing more to say but I needed the minimum for this review.

Great customer service from Dave. It could be hit or miss depends on what is inside the window. I've had a couple of great slices but sometimes the slices I want aren't inside the window. The margarita is great.

Pretty good pizza. The slice is thin yet holds it's shape when you pick it up. It doesn't droop down like other pizzas. Their pizza sauce is definitely above average.

Out of towner - so I can't speak much about great New York pizza. But I can say I enjoy the pizza here. The buffalo chicken pizza ranks pretty high up there for me. But when in doubt, a plain cheese does the job. Reasonable prices - slices could be bigger imo. Been a few times now over the years and have not observed any issues with the service. Overall i will continue to come here until someone introduces me to something better.

We usually pass by on our way to the movie theater without giving this place a second thought. After seeing Shazam! we decided to stop in Gloria's to grab me a quick bite to eat. It took a little over 6 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me. I waited at the counter to place an order. Two employees walked by, looked at me, & kept on going about their business. Against my better judgment I decided to ignore the mishap. I had a craving for mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. Much to my surprise they do not have chicken tenders on their menu. I settled on an order of mozzarella sticks to go. The mozzarella sticks were of the flat variety. Although the cheese was tasty they were heavily breaded with unseasoned breadcrumbs. I prefer the Italian mix, less breadcrumbs, with more cheesy goodness. The marinara sauce was somewhat tasty, but on the watery side. I prefer my marinara to be thick and garlicky.

March 16, 2021 I went to Gloria Pizza for the first time today I order two regular cheese slices one meatball Parmesan and a cannoli along with a orange cream soda. My partner like his slice of pizza. My meatball sub was OK until I found a piece of plastic in my mouth while I was chewing my meatball Parmesan sandwich I tried calling but the place is close I don't know what to think or feel about this so I'm no longer going to eat my sandwich I would like no more surprises but this is bad and I feel some type away because I could've swallowed it and something could've went wrong if I did and found that rolling in my mouth I knew I felt something hard... I hope I did not swallow anything else after eating half of the sandwich.

Had dinner at Gloria Pizza on Monday night. A solid slice, with perfect crust and a bit of sweetness. Quality: I was a big fan of the pizza I had at Gloria Pizza. I ordered a Plain Slice, a Spinach Ricotta Slice, and a Margherita Sicilian Slice. Since moving to New York, Gloria Pizza has been the first place to really nail the crust. The perfect combo of crunchy and soft. The pizza sauce they use is a bit sweet, and won't be for everyone, but I enjoyed it greatly. Quantity: Standard size pizza slices. Value: $2.75 for a Plain Slice. $3.00 for a Sicilian Slice. Ambiance: Gloria Pizza is located in Forest Hills, Queens. It is a fairly large shop right on Queens Boulevard. Plenty of tables for guests and a television that was showing the Mets game. Crowd: Fairly busy for Monday night. A few families and a bunch of folks right off work. Service: Extremely friendly group of guys working behind the counter. Parking: Limited street parking a few blocks away.

Came in around 12pm on a Saturday craving pizza. Service was great and the pizza was delicious! I ordered a chicken and broccoli slice and it was so good!

Had the grandma pie and it was amazing. Coming here for years and it's not the BEST but it satisfies and you'll leave happy

I called for delivery and ordered shrimp parm . But when I received the order, I got chicken parm instead. I was so disappointed and called them right away. The guy I spoke to said he heard chicken parm but I told him no, I never order that and always order shrimp. It went back and forth. Without trying to figure out a way to make things better for the both of us, he stood his ground and had the rude attitude that Gloria's is always right and customers are always wrong and too bad for you. Not a policy I want to ever do business with again. The chicken parm was sliced very thin and had more bread than meat. Will never go back.

I have fond memories of the original back on Main street in Flushing and I was very excited to hear about a reopening from some of the descendants of the original Gloria's. But alas, it wasn't a true return to the glory days of the past so Bruce's Glory Days will need to stay on the shelf. (We had CD's back then) It's a pizza joint. So let's start with the pizza. I like pizza with some structure, some stiffness in the crust when I pick it up, I don't want to carb out on one slice, I like some flavor from the toppings or when I don't, I want to taste what is on the slice and savor the undisguised essence of pizza. Now the pizza here comes out of the oven a bit thick and limpy. It feels like it should stay in the oven just a little bit longer and gain a bit more character, a contrast to what's on the other side, a certain crunch to the slice that screams you are in NY. Next the sauce here seems artificially sweetened as in, it's unnaturally too sweet. I've never had sauce anywhere else that is sooo sweet. Every time I have a slice here my natural inclination is to add oregano or garlic powder first thing. Again, I don't necessarily feel that's the case every where else. Service wise, I think I've had the same experience with the one fellow that usually mans the pizza area. He's not a friendly guy. I came in for some stuffed garlic knots once and when I received my order I asked for a another bag to contain the grease, some of which was either seeping through the bag or stained the outside of the bag he gave me. His response was an incredulous "Why?". Why would that even be a question? I just bought something from you and I asked for one. Like others here, I really don't find a reason to visit unless I am asked to.

My husband raves about this place, he has a slice a couple of times a week before he gets home. I told him to get me a slice. No wonder he loves this place. Probably the best slice of pizza I have had in many years. The dough is fantastic. The crust, just the way I like it, airy, pillowy yet has a crunch. Pizza is seasoned well, good ratio of pizza to sauce. Smaller than your average slice but that doesnt matter to me. I also tried the penne vodka slice...two thumbs up. Great sauce and pasta doesnt taste old or hard. Fantastic spot...i might have to eat my way through the menu.

First time coming to this place and wow! Great food, great service, low cost! I feel like Gloria's Pizza has brought Italy to The Big Apple! Bravo!

The pizza is below average. The employees are rude and nasty. They act like you should be great full to eat their lousy pizza. Also, they are constantly using their hands to grab the slices out of the oven with their bare hands and nobody wheres a hair net while preparing the food. No Thank You.

First time customers and won't be the last. Great food and service. Food arrived hot and was just like Nonna's. Can't wait for the next order. A must if you live in the neighborhood.

First of all,let's start with,walking in this place,yes! You got three stooges behind the counter,ones running around,one with glasses staring to I don't know what and the other one is laughing to himself,boy! So the guy with glasses,I tell him,can I get a slice of chicken ranch and a Sicilian,he turns and tells me to order from the guy running around,so you can tell me,it's hard to stick two slices in a freaking stove? Ok no mind,but the ahole with glasses talking rude to this lady,man! I walk out and I go to eat my slices,ranch suck and dry and the Sicilian Soggy,I guess that's my last time there. Sad!

Pizza is okay but I recommend you order the whole pizza than taking out individual slices. Reason for two stars is that theyre just not nice. I was ordering at the counter and the treated me as if I was wasting their time. If thats supposed to be "homely attitude" good for you.

I have tried two dishes and they were superb. One is Penne Gloria which is Pasta, Broccoli Rabe , Sun dried Tomato's with garlic and oil. The other is Chicken Frances's; this one is outstanding!!!! Barbara U

Do not order from this place. I received all 5 of my pizzas completely destroyed. Absolutely unacceptable. Never ordering from them again.

The staff shows disgusting attitude towards customers. I've been reading all these reviews from 3 years ago saying how the staff is rude and let me tell you what, they're still RUDE! Some of the pizza is good i'll give them a point for that but overall I felt so uncomfortable there.

First let me state that I love the pizza at Gloria. I have been going to Gloria since I was a kid in Flushing since the 70s. When they opened up in Forest Hills I was excited and I would go there for pizza when ever I was in the area. However what I just observe I will never go back. On 9/13/2023 at around 5:15 I went in to get pizza. A customer was complaining it was taking to long to get his pizza. He ask if he could get his money back. The counterman said you will have to wait to get your money back. I am sorry Gloria Pizza but if someone orders something and it's taking to long give them there money back. After the Manager comes over and tells the counterman to give the customer his money back the counter man starts punching the customer. The manager then comes in and also starts punching the customer. The customer somehow gets away from these two idiots and walks away. I hope the customer gets a lawyer and sues you guys. You have lost a lifetime customer who has been going to and enjoying the pizza since 1974. The only way I would consider going back is if the Counter man and the Manager were fired for there behavior.

Eggplant parm. and spaghetti-delicious and fresh. The eggplant was so fresh and was not overly fried. Real home cooking. My Dad had the chicken parm. They had tons of choices of pizza, so next time I will try some pizza. Movie theater is right next door, so you can enjoy dinner and a movie! Customer service is great too. Order at the counter and they bring over the HUGE dishes. I'm finding that I've been writing reviews only at the places that I'm happy about. I guess I haven't felt like wasting time writing about the places that are not good.

I think these guys might have the best pepperoni pinwheels I've ever had. I got one once as soon as the guy took them out of the oven and mmm. The pizza is good too. And I love the little garlic knots with cheese and pepperoni in them. Pasta with white clam sauce was delicious. Very nice staff. Great for a bite before/after a movie.
