As a huge fan of gnocchi, I absolutely loved it here! Gnocherria allows you to sample four different kinds of gnocchi with a myriad of sauces you can choose from.
We chose the traditional gnocchi with pesto, truffle, marinara, and three-cheese sauces. The truffle sauce was my personal favorite, with its bold flavors and shaved truffle pieces, with the decadent three-cheese gnocchi being a close second. The pesto sauce could use a bit more parmigiana reggiano but it was still really fresh and herbaceous, especially when elevated by a drizzle of olive oil and a knob of burrata cheese. Lastly the marinara sauce was tasty enough, but underwhelming and lacking of salt.
Throughout the night, we were also presented with bread service to soak up all the delicious sauces. The bread was thick and crusty and perfect for our appertivo salad, a fresh and herbaceous spring mix of cheese and tomatoes.
Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Gnocherria and I love how passionate they are about the soft potatoey pillows of goodness. They also offer gnocchi options that are stuffed, fried, or made of sweet potato. My only complaint would be to offer more Kosher-friendly meat options that feature beef or chicken for those of us that don't eat pork. With that in mind, even though I wasn't able to eat the meatballs, my husband stated that they were delicious and well seasoned. 9/10 I would return just for that truffle gnocchi ~
