Thailand Shines Brighter with 10 New MICHELIN Star Additions, Including Its Second Three-MICHELIN-Star Restaurant

"This year, the only restaurant that has newly captured the MICHELIN Guide Inspectors’ attention for its inspiring vision is GOAT , a One MICHELIN Star restaurant dedicated to thoughtful cooking that highlights Thailand’s rich natural diversity. They source ingredients directly from local farmers, fishermen, and small-scale producers, and grow herbs and edible flowers in their rooftop garden. Every item in the kitchen is used with intention ─ trimmings become fermented or compost, and oil is carefully reused. Their attention to detail extends to the décor, where reclaimed wood and recycled tableware reflect the same mindful philosophy." - The MICHELIN Guide

The perfect example of what a Michelin restaurant should be. I’ve visited several Michelin places in Bangkok, but many of them felt pretentious — more focused on showing off than delivering a genuine culinary experience. At Goat, you can feel the passion and sincerity from the chef to every staff member. Their philosophy on ingredients and food really comes through in each course. And being able to watch the kitchen closely throughout the experience made it even more special. From the very first bite to the thoughtful little gift at the end, everything was flawless. A truly memorable dining experience — definitely a must-return.

One of the best resto I’ve been to. After being disappointed by some other over-hyped Michelin 2 star Chinese/Asian fusion in London, I was cautious at the beginning. But the chef here at GOAT really understands Thai&Chinese ingredients&flavors and how to bring the best out of them. The creativity is superb. The staff were all so passionate and proud of whatever they were serving and went out of their ways to tell the stories behind the food. I particularly loved the tour on the rooftop garden and saw how the herbs are grown. The beverage parings were even better than wine in my opinion. Overall great experience!

Really glad I celebrated a major birthday milestone here - just simply one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Fantastic team, just slightly disappointed I didn’t get to meet the main head chef that night (i arrived a bit late). Incredible 13 course meal - can tell the team put a lot of thought and effort into the menu and execution. Fantastic journey through tastes of Thailand. I have to praise their awesome front of house too - they made sure every second since stepping in I was well looked after - and I was severely late as well, wasn’t a problem at all for them, well accommodated. Thanks to the Goat team and hope to dine with you guys again next time!

If anyone asks me what my favorite restaurant is, the answer is now undeniably @goat.bangkok💙 I originally planned to write a long review, but no words can fully capture how beautiful the experience truly was. Dining here isn’t just about exceptional food, it’s the warmth of the team, the intention behind every detail, and the inspiration you take home with you. I came in with high expectations, and GOAT still went far beyond anything I imagined. The food and drinks were so good they almost brought me to tears (the mixologist and non-alcoholic pairing absolutely made my year!) Thank you to Chef Tan, the kitchen team, the bar team, the front and back of house, and even the garden caretaker. The positive energy here is real and powerful. Respect, legends. 🙏🏽💙🐐 Absolutely the GOAT.

It has been a long time since we encountered a dining experience of this caliber. At Goat Bangkok, the cuisine is precise yet soulful, the service intuitive and quietly impeccable. A reminder of what true Michelin-level dining feels like — not only in technique, but in emotion, balance, and care. Goat Bangkok invites you on a thoughtful journey through Thailand — where time-honored traditions meet modern expression. Each course is crafted with precision, guided by seasonality, and inspired by the diverse landscapes of Thai cuisine, from the north to the southern seas. An experience where flavor, culture, and artistry quietly converge. Speacial Thank to Chef Tan’s goat.bangkok team and specially our food attendant “First” for her special care and service for making my wife 30 birthday extra special ❤️

Everything here is simply on point – from the presentation, food, service, cocktails, to the atmosphere! A truly unique dining experience. Our host Kitty was exceptionally friendly and attentive, taking the time to explain every course in great detail. The homegrown mint tea was refreshing, and the kombucha was absolutely outstanding. The restaurant is set in a quiet standalone house, exquisitely decorated with elegant Chinese-inspired touches. The courtyard’s lush greenery feels natural and calming, while the refined design creates a graceful atmosphere. Even more impressive, many of the organic vegetables and herbs used in the dishes are harvested from their own rooftop garden, adding freshness and authenticity to the meal. Neatly arranged cabinets of house-made pickles give a sense of order and care, reflecting the restaurant’s thoughtful philosophy. The evening tasting menu is designed like a culinary map of Thailand, with each course showcasing premium ingredients from different regions of the country. Every dish brings out unique local flavors, turning the dinner into a true visual and gastronomic journey. What makes Goat truly special is not only the inventive Thai-Chinese fusion, but also their commitment to the finest regional ingredients, presented with passion and precision. If you’re looking for an elevated fusion dining experience in Bangkok, Goat should absolutely be at the very top of your list!

I love the story of the GOAT as much as I love the food and experience. It was the best dining experience. One Michelin star is not enough for this gem. I love their zero waste policy and that all ingredients (inckuding the wines) are sourced in Thailand. The welcome drink, their house kombucha is delicious and certainly the best ibhave ver tasted. I am looking forward to dining their again when next I am in Bangkok
