Great food , (poor service read below) very close to authentic Indian Recommend the chicken curry Service needs to be improved. We waited for 15 minutes for onion naan after we got curries. Once we finished no one came to ask for dessert or anything until we called them after waiting long time. But since the food was good I give 5 stars

Google
First things first, STAFF TOP TIER! Several people came to my table to check on me, offered their opinions, and explained the menu while I was deciding. I'm not familiar with the cuisine, so that was very helpful. Butter chicken was suggested since I'm allergic to onion and nuts. EXCELLENT CHOICE. The food was hot, seasoned perfectly and downright, delicious. I had the pomegranate iced tea, but I wasn't a fan. Now, if they switched it to pomegranate lemonade, sign me up. I will be back and I'll bring people with me.

Flavorful, Stylish, and Welcoming – A Must-Visit at GOAT Room, DC We had such a great experience at GOAT Room — from the atmosphere to the food, everything came together beautifully. Our server’s recommendations to start were spot-on. The tandoori chicken wings were an absolute standout — packed with bold, smoky flavor and a slow-building heat that added excitement without overwhelming your palate. The garlic naan was warm, soft, and delicious on its own or paired with the mains. The chicken tikka masala was rich, comforting, and incredibly flavorful. We ordered it medium spice, and it was just the right amount of heat to enjoy every bite without it being overpowering. The restaurant itself is spacious with a modern yet authentic feel, combining sleek design elements with touches that nod to its cultural roots. It feels both elevated and approachable, perfect for anything from a casual dinner to a special night out. Overall, GOAT Room delivers on every front — amazing flavors, thoughtful service, and a great ambiance. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Google
The GOAT room had the best service I’ve experienced in a long time! They were extremely attentive, caring and anticipated my every need. The drinks are great, food came out fast and was delicious! So glad I found this spot and will definitely be back.

Food was delicious and service was great. The owner introduced himself and was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Went on a Saturday and was pretty busy so I recommend reserving ahead of time. If portion sizes are an issue for you consider a different location, but remember it is in dc and this restaurant seems to focus on quality over quantity. Overall very enjoyable. Will be back soon

Google
Just got back from a lovely lunch at this Indian spot right in the middle of downtown DC. It was a Saturday around lunchtime, and surprisingly, it wasn't packed even with all the university graduations happening. They had a really nice selection of Indian dishes, mostly focusing on Punjabi cuisine, it seemed. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see tons of options! The only thing I'd say is the portion sizes are pretty generous – definitely come hungry!

Google
We love this place.. the rice was cooked perfectly and all the dishes were delicious. I especially loved the butter chicken. We'd definitely come back!

Google
Ordered the lamb vindaloo with medium spice and it was pretty good. It had a huge chin of potato and some type of red hue/dye to it which i haven't seen in other varieties, but still good. The vibe of the place is nice as well. Just check your receipt and their understanding of your order. They charge me for rice that I didn't want.

Yelp
My husband was hangry so we decided to eat here. We both are so happy we did. Omar welcomed us right when we entere and was very helpful with suggestions. There are posters with famous people and wonderful quotes. This place is really unassuming and a restaurant you may overlook. My suggestion...don't!!! The food took some time to come out but was totally worth the wait. Due to my husband's hunger we ordered a lot. The tandoori wings were incredible. As was the Chilli Chicken and the Chicken Malai. We also had yellow lentil daal which had amazing spices. To end our meal we had chai tea. If you are ever in this area, or even if you're not, it is definitely worth coming here.

Yelp
Wrong order and not even asked about changing it. Very expensive for 4 small bites of chicken in the vindaloo. I guess it's DC right?

Yelp
This is such a fantastic Indian restaurant in the area with a fun vibe and great food. When we came, our waitress described which food was best and its origins. I got the chicken korma and my friend got the chicken vindaloo because our waitress described it so well as a spicy dish and its origin. We shared the golgappas, which was wonderful for a restaurant and we shared the rasmalai at the end. We came home with leftovers. We can't wait to go back to try more of their food!!

Yelp
the food was alright -- the samosas were hot and flavorful, and the mango lassis were refreshing however service could be better. the water they served us had bits of dust floating in it.

Yelp
Stopped by on a rainy Friday and was presently surprised by what I encountered! Although I did not stay long, I did enjoy my naan bread and the amount of options they had on their menu. I intend to come back here to enjoy dinner service. They have a couple different options for entering and there was even a section that made for a really good photo op.

Yelp
A very underwhelming culinary experience. While the service was great, the food lacked flavor and spice. To start, I ordered the spinach rolls and gol gappe for the table. The spinach rolls were overly fried and the spinach tasted like it was from the freezer. The gol gappe had a terrible pani puri paired with it. My friend and I also ordered a variety of naan (garlic and mirchi) to eat with our daal makhani and tandoori chicken. The naan tasted like paper and the chili peppers in the mirchi naan were undercooked. The daal makhani had no flavor and tasted just like black beans and water. The tandoori chicken was supposed to be a signature dish, but it also failed to have any real tandoori flavor. Overall, an extremely disappointing place to eat Indian food.

Yelp
My butter chicken void has been filled! Ever since my favorite butter chicken spot shut down in Maryland, I've been on the search for my new go-to butter chicken spot. Enter: G.O.A.T. Room! We came here on a Wednesday night for dinner. I made a reservation on OpenTable. It was a quiet night at the restaurant, but the staff informed me that they often fill-up, so best to make a reservation in advance. It has a more casual feel than fine-dining. We were seated right away and they filled our water cups. There was a fancy carafe on the table to self-refill the rest of the night. Service stopped by a few times to ask if we wanted drinks or appetizers before placing our entree orders. They also informed us that we could customize the spice level for our dishes. We started with the palak chaat ($12) which was brought out quickly. I get excited anytime I see palak chaat on the menu and knew I had to try it. This was one of the better palak chaats that I've had (crispy without being super greasy), but it still can't top Rasika's in terms of flavor. Bottom line- I would order it again. For my entree, I ordered the butter chicken ($23) mild because I'm a wimp when it comes to spice. My friend ordered the Gobi Aloo ($17; cauliflower) with a medium spice level, which was described by our waiter as a 4-5 out of 10 on the spiciness scale. We also got a side of garlic naan ($4). Both entrees came with a side of rice (this wasn't clear on the menu, but we asked the waiter and he confirmed this was the case). The butter chicken is a winner! The sauce was creamy and I loved the flavor. This is the kind of curry that I crave and could drink up by itself. Even the chicken, despite being white meat, was tender and moist. I do think the chicken portions were skimpy. There were five small chunks of chicken served in the dish; I definitely had to search the bowl to find the protein. At $23 for such a small portion, I'm hesitant to order it again (but I know I will). The naan was warm and garlicky, but more thin and crisp - I prefer fluffier. Service was excellent - they checked how we were doing multiple times, and even the owner stopped by our table. I definitely felt the hospitality. I'll be back time and time again.

Yelp
We went to G.O.A.T. Room on a double date with some friends and had a great time trying some of the menu favorites. We love Masala Story in NE, and one of the managers there advised us that we should check out GOAT Room since it is owned and operated by the same family. He gave us a great tip because GOAT Room was awesome! Some highlights include: tandoori chicken wings, samosa chaat, and French fries with butter chicken dipping sauce. The apps were amazing! For my main dish, I had chicken Korma, which was lovely. My husband had goat curry. He asked for it spicy but I think they took it easy on him because it wasn't too spicy. Our friend had the goat vindaloo and THAT was spicy. We had a great time! Excellent food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back! And we have told all our friends about this place.

Yelp
I visited G.O.A.T. Room on a Sunday night not expecting a huge crowd, however, it turned out to be a busy night. The customer service was very good. There are two entrances to the restaurant. I entered the restaurant from the top level and was met almost immediately by a hostess once I entered the dining room. I don't know which level is the main entrance, but I'm assuming the lower level since the top level did not have a maitre d stand. I recommend entering from the lower level. The person who sat me did not confirm my reservation in their system which resulted in OpenTable contacting me shortly after I left the restaurant to verify whether I kept my reservation. Thankfully, I was able to substantiate my attendance by providing OpenTable with information from my receipt. As for the food, it very much lacked the authentic, full-flavor of Indian cuisine. I ordered tandoori wings, samosas, fish pakora, naan, lamb curry, and goat curry. None of the proteins had depth of Indian flavor. The traditional Indian spices just weren't there. The curries tasted like protein smothered in a simple pan gravy. The tandoori wings tasted like American-style grilled wings. Having experienced so many Indian restaurants I've come to understand that some modify their full-flavor, traditional recipes, conforming to the palates of their customer base, resulting in a less than authentic dining experience. The food was delicious, however, it just didn't meet the mark with traditional Indian flavor. I'll try them again to determine if there is consistency with this experience.

Yelp
Enjoyed the Butter Chicken but the flavor definitely tended more toward the sweet side of things. Garlic Naan was great! Service started out good and then I think they forgot me. Haha! Had to ask for the check after sitting there for what seemed like forever. I appreciate they're not trying to turn tables but... Hipster vibe. Cool place - food was just a little sweet for me compared to other non-GOAT Indian food places.

Yelp
G.O.A.T Room is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in DC! Incredible service, delicious Punjabi stlye food, and lovely vibes that make you feel right at home. My sister and I popped in for dinner on a Saturday night and were greeted by their kind staff. The restaurant is clean, dimly lit, and has a great cozy vibe. We started off with fresh Mango Lassi and Samosa Chaat - a delicious blend of channa, chutneys, and vegetable toppings. AMAZING! So flavorful and spicy - very clear fresh ingredients are being used. The Mango Lassi was a light sweetness that paired perfectly with a spicier starter. Next, we dug into the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. Hands down the best Butter Chicken in DC! The spices are incredibly authentic - don't be surprised if you scrape the bowl clean :) G.O.A.T Room is on my list of top restaurants in DC! I even had a lovely birthday dinner with friends here. Well worth a visit!

Yelp
This restaurant offers a prominent downtown location. The menu is Punjabi and has extensive labeled vegan options, and clearly quite a bit of care was put into my food. I sampled their interpretation of a bhindi masala and asked for their maximum spice level. What I received was perfectly cut okra with no stems and a vigorous spice mix that hit my sinuses, but was fruity and delicious. I was mildly surprised to find that it didn't come with rice, but had already ordered a bread with some paneer that was fresh and filling. My tea was unsweetened but tasty. Indeed, people trying to avoid extra carbs would be pretty happy with these developments which are not typical of restaurant food. My service was on the slow side, but while there were many other things worth ordering, I stopped there. For this visit, anyway.

Yelp
This was my first time trying the G.O.A.T. Room and the experience was fantastic! All of the dishes were delicious and well balanced, with nothing too spicy to accommodate different palates. The chicken malai was tender and juicy and such a large portion. The paneer was the favorite among my group with its rich sauce. Service was attentive and the food came out fast. I'm looking forward to returning!
google avatar

Zainab B.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic. Drove past this place earlier today while visiting DC. Ordered the lamb khorma, chicken biryani, naan, butter chicken, seekh kabab and shami kabab. Everything was delicious. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the shami kabob, other than that order it all.

Yelp
GOAT Room is a great place to go eat some authentic Indian food! Our server/host, Omar, went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing meal and experience as was the entire staff. This was a very enjoyable experience and the food was delicious! If you are in D.C. and want an exceptional experience, you definitely should check the GOAT Room out. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
It takes a lot for me to give a bad review. The food was good, but the service was terrible. The waiter couldn't answer what seemed like a straightforward food question, then seemed annoyed with me when I ordered. When the plates were switched out from the appetizers to the main meal, I was scolded to hand mine to the waiter more quickly...which is you know, not my job? Our drinks never came. I made it clear I didn't want mine anymore by the time we were done eating, at which point it was still forced on me, and I had to pay for it (I didn't drink it, as I no longer wanted it since we were getting ready to leave). Just overall a terrible service experience. 2nd star is for the food only.

Yelp
Made a reservation for this Indian spot but really didn't need it because we got there a little after it opened. They were able to take us, but couldn't really be bothered to put us at a booth even though the place was practically empty. By the time we left there were about five Indian families there--usually a sign of good food! My friend and I ordered chicken samosas which were flavorful and crunchy! My friend ordered the Goat biryani which she said was fair but did not have as much flavor as what she's used to. She also mentioned she had quite a few bones. I had the chicken saag spicy and it was good . The garlic naan was good but it was a bit oily. Service was a bit slower but perhaps we came at an off time. The place became noisy as it was filling up just as we were leaving. Granted we were sitting next to a party of 7 ppl. See whatcha think!
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Stopped in here with a couple of co-workers after a conference and I'm glad we did! There weren't a lot of tables occupied, but in DC on a weeknight that's not surprising. Service was fast and they knew the menu very well - our server was also a master at upselling! We tried a couple of apps that were amazing then ordered our mains. Everything came out fast and was hot and delicious. There wasn't a lot of talking once our mains arrived, good sign! Spice levels were on point and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. They even packaged up our desserts to go, since we were all a bit stuffed! This place has made "the list" and we'll be back.

Hayley G.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food! Very kind staff and the vibes were calm! The butter chicken is the best Indian food I've had in a long time.

Jessica D.

Yelp
The restaurant space is large (for DC), with a lovely open atmosphere and hip decor. The menu is full of standard Indian fare. It's reasonably priced for the city: my palak paneer main dish, which came with rice, was $19, and the garlic naan was $4. Service was spot on and friendly. The food is amazing. Perfectly seasoned and not too salty. The naan is seriously the best I have ever had. LOVE this place!!!

Guy K.

Yelp
Another extremely drunk patron literally fell on my wife when we were seated on a table for an early, 7:15pm dinner. Manager's response -- "sorry, but what can I do if other people drink in our restaurant?" How about cut off the table and walk them out so they don't fall on anyone else? Instead, they offered one messy and poorly presented dessert between 4 of us. We didn't expect any consideration, even despite this incident, and frankly, offering nothing would have been better than offering this shoddy and poor quality dessert! Not sure if management can manage their patron's safety. Will think long and hard if we will ever return to this joint.
google avatar

J. B.

Yelp
You will not be disappointed. Besides incredible food, this place has a great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff you'll meet. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan. It was phenomenal, and I would strongly recommend this place. Eat here!

Jazzmyne T.

Yelp
My cousin came in town and she lives Indian food so we stopped by Goat Room. Really enjoyed the authentic flavors . Our service was attentive and fixed an error in our order with no problem. Quiet atmosphere, not too noisy, really great menu selection and friendly staff.

Debojyoti D.

Yelp
Great appetizers, decent main dishes. They accommodated a party of 20 without advanced notice. Ambience was good with high ceilings. The staff were friendly and attentive. It's not a very fancy Michelin star Indian place but a great place to connect dots and build memories over good food.
google avatar

Kimberly S.

Yelp
We were looking for a spot to have lunch after checking out a local museum. This was on a list of places I wanted to try so we tried it out. Ambiance - It wasn't as fancy as I imagined it would be, but it was still nice. I looks like a lot of people come here for lunch. Food - The food was good. The palak paneer was a little sweet for me, which was kind of weird. The butter chicken could've used more spices. The tomato was the prevalent flavor. The garlic naan was on point! Service - The service was friendly and attentive. They made some menu suggestions, but we already knew what we wanted to order. My son could've used a refill of water though. Overall, I'd recommend this spot. I'd like to come back to try their desserts.
google avatar

John V.

Yelp
The food was decent, but the service for drinks was slow. I found out after the fact that they charge for iced tea refills and automatically add the gratuity. I feel that they should have disclosed the additional charge for the drink refills and mentioned that the gratuity would be added to an individual check. I would have understood if it was a group check.
google avatar

Maureen N.

Yelp
I decided to stop by for lunch to see what the hype is all about. It was a pleasant experience. it was practically empty when I came in. I was greeted warmly by the host, which is always awesome! The space is big and open with tall ceilings. It also seemed like a good date spot, but I could not gauge the noise levels since I was the only patron. I ordered the one meat and one veggie lunch special: goat curry and saag paneer. It came with rice, salad, lol, and some fresh and warm naan. I thoroughly enjoyed the saag paneer more than the goat curry (perhaps because it was easier to eat with the naan). Regardless, I would recommend the saag paneer. I requested it to be "spicy". It was spicy without overtaking the flavors of both dishes. I would definitely return to try other dishes!

Yelp
Loved this spot! Authentic Indian dishes in a nice environment. Prices were reasonable and the staff was amazing.

Yelp
If you're a fan of Brookland's Masala Story, walk into the owner's other restaurant in downtown D.C. When you enter, go down the flight of stairs to an open dining room with an open kitchen. Right away, a server will greet you as if you're family. Ask for recommendations as they are eager to direct you. Tell them your spice level and let them do the rest. To feed two of us, my wife and I split the palak chaat, chicken tikka masala, and the chicken malai tandoori. Everything was full of flavor and so good! To drink, I tried their chai. It was perfect for a cold night. They bring extra sugar in case you need it. If you love Indian, head to the G.O.A.T. Room!
google avatar

Jackie B.

Yelp
Ordered food online for pickup and their online ordering system went smoothly. It is Google and not Apple Pay accessible so keep that in mind. I ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and a side of the masala fries to share with a friend. When we walked in the hosts immediately greeted us and I believe the owner spoke with us as well. Everyone was friendly and accommodating but you could tell he just wanted you to buy more food. If you like spice, don't forget to let them know. The spice added a nice kick to the food I ate. I would rate it pretty good but the prices are pretty high up there being that it's in DC. Enjoyed my experience here overall!

Yelp
I stopped by for a late lunch bc it is close to the Marriott and Courtyard. I had the palak chat - spinach, carrot, and onion, dusted and fried crunch and topped with fresh carrot, ginger, topped with tamarind, yogurt, and mint/cilantro sauce. It was very good. I also had the spinach rolls. Surprisingly tasty little bites and the Kashmiri naan for a sweet finish. The service was attentive - even as they trained someone new. Give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Yummy Indian food in a modern setting. I think we got butter chicken and shrimp tikka masala and they both went well with the garlic naan. Friendly and helpful service.

Yelp
I learned from the owner that this is a new restaurant. And I HIGHLY recommend it!! The service was incredible. Refilled water, checked to make sure everything was good, cleared plates very promptly, etc. I actually was on crutches and they really went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The food was amazing! Probably one of the best Indian food I've had. The samosas were perfectly crunchy, flavorful, and the perfect temperature. It came with a sauce to dip, which was an excellent complement to an already perfect bite. My partner and I shared a paneer masala and again, it was extraordinary. We asked for mild spice, and again it was just right. The sauce was a little thicker than any I've had in the past, but I loved it even more. We also ordered a side of garlic naan and it just rounded the whole meal. We also ordered a mojito, and it was so fresh and refreshing! Lastly, the ambiance was lovely. They have booths, tables, and a bar. They also had little lamps at every table that can be controlled with your touch...if you want to it brighter, dimmer or off. Silverware was very posh. Just overall a great place!!!

Yelp
When in DC you have to have the ethnic food. People from all over the world work and live in DC and the city's restaurant scene caters to their tastes. I had some of the best Indian food I ever had in DC and GOAT Room delivered yet again. I had my standard lamb vindaloo and it was excellent as expected with a great garlic naan and mango lassie.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
The server helped me pick a couple things that are not butter chicken so I could try some of the some options I may not try otherwise. Chili Chicken half portion Side of paneer Pakora with potato Did not dissapoint and wasn't overkill for a single person. 10/10 would recommend Didn't think I would write a review so you just get a photo of half eaten food for proof. I had to take a break to write this.

William S.

Yelp
My wife and I were visiting DC and saw this restaurant very near our hotel. A few days into our stay, while visiting Chinatown and being soaked from an afternoon storm, we decided to stop for dinner. Our waitress got us seated right away, and recommended a drink, and two vegetarian dishes. Both dishes were great, as were the garlic and onion stuffed naan. One of our best dining experiences in DC!

Yelp
The bottom line: this new Indian restaurant is absolutely wonderful. Walking in to this modern looking restaurant, there's a lot of glass and high ceilings. There's pleasant music playing and a very large screen showing drone pictures of India. There are booths lining the edge of the restaurant, for 4-6 people and smaller tables in the middle. You can see into the kitchen also. The place is spotless. We came for lunch and after being seated, the owner came to take our order. He made several recommendations, they were all excellent. The quality of the food at G. O. A. T. is absolutely first rate. You can truly taste the freshness. The dishes were chose we're so absolutely delicious that frankly, we were both surprised at how much we enjoyed the meal. While we were looking forward to a really nice lunch, our expectations were far exceeded. We started our meal with a Samosa Chaat's which was recommended by the owner. We enjoy Samosa, this was even better. It combines the Samosa with chutney and yogurt. It was so flavorful and crunchy. We then chose the vegetarian lunch special dishes-yellow daal (lentil), spinach and eggplant. I preferred the lentil and spinach, they were really excellent. The eggplant was good but I'm not a big fan of that vege. The garlic Naan bread was one of the very best that I've ever eaten. Naan is typically a bit doughy and covered with too much butter. This offering was superb. The bread was light, the amount of garlic blended wonderfully and there was no obvious coating of butter. We received 2 pieces sliced for one order. Absolutely great. For dessert we chose my favorite Rasmali. It was so delicious. The yogurt was firm without being dry. There was just enough sweetness - it balanced the savory and did not overpower, which I find to be a challenge in many places. We also chose the Chai tea. I rarely enjoy this in restaurants as there is usually too much milk, which I find overwhelms the flavor of the tea. This was the best Chai tea that I have ever had-though I admit to having a somewhat limited experience. G.O.A.T. Room is a new Indian restaurant on Mass Ave. with really flavorful food and attentive staff. The vibe may not be everything that someone is looking for, but they've just opened. This place is a true addition to the DC restaurant scene.

Yelp
Amazing food, fantastic service and the sweetest owners ever. We unintentionally ordered 3 different chicken dishes but all were so, so good.

Yelp
Stopped in to G.O.A.T Room on our last night in DC. I wasn't disappointed! The restaurant seemed popular, and we walked in to find a little bit of a wait. No big deal, as we decided to wait by the bar with some other parties. It started to get late, so we decided to order at the bar instead, so that is an option. All the bar staff were attentive and checked on us frequently, hence why we decided to stay there. We ordered the butter chicken and the goat vindaloo with garlic naan. They gave me their hottest sauce on the side to eat with my vindaloo, which if you're a spice head, I'd recommend. Butter chicken was amazing and the best dish of the night, I ended up eating more of that than my own goat vindaloo. If you're in the area and feeling for Indian, you can't go wrong with G.O.A.T. Room!

Yelp
I came here with some friends on a Wednesday night. We made a reservation, but they take walk ins and there was a lot of seating available. I thought the service was great- our waitress recommended lots of different things and helped us decide what to order. I thought the food was pretty good. It was a little overpriced- you could probably get the same quality for cheaper, but the ambiance and service were great. My favorite dish was the chicken korma. The drinks were good as well. The spicy margarita was extremely spicy so would probably ask to get it less spicy next time! A great place to go if you're looking to try something new!

Yelp
Yummy!!! I am so happy I stumbled across this restaurant Friday night. It was very busy but I found a seat at the bar and was attended to right away. I started with the Gol Gappe as an appetizer because it sounded interesting. It's a beautiful dish, these little hollowed out puffs filled with something (chickpea?) and a sauce on the side. It was interesting but I felt it lacked some flavor. Then I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (served with rice) and Garlic Naan. That knocked it out of the park. It was so flavorful and delicious. I just couldn't get enough of it. The staff was all very friendly while still moving quickly.

Yelp
The reviews on amazing Garlic Naan led us here on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Everyone else must have stayed in because we had the restaurant to ourselves like the VIPs we are We had our pick of seats and chose a booth at the window. Perfect for watching people! Omar took great care of us today! The place is beautiful, definitely a nice date night spot, meal with the girls, or a place to go to marvel and the sights around you! See photos! There was a little area with a bench perfect for your picture taking! My girls and I would have loved this for a group photo! We knew for sure garlic Naan was to be ordered. For apps, we tried the Lamb samosas. You get 2! They were perfectly flaky and flavorful. It came with a slaw and a mint chutney. Delicious. We tried the Tandoori wings! Omar let us know they are the only restaurant that prepare them they way they do- they aren't fried or baked but cooked in a clay oven. These were served with a chutney and a maybe a Cucumber Tatziki type sauce. Great flavor! For mains, we tried the butter chicken, which was creamy, a light spice kick to it. It wasn't our favorite butter chicken ever, but it was good. We also tried the chili chicken. I asked for medium spicy but didn't really get any spice at all. It was filled with a variety of peppers and onions. Topped with green onion and parsley, I believe. Maybe ask for spicy spicy if you give it a try. Both dishes served with delicious basmati rice. The garlic Naan was buttery, Garlicky, light. We tried a cucumber refresh drink that comes with fresh cucumber, fresh orange juice, and Cointreau. There wasn't a lot of orange juice flavor at all, but if you're a cucumber water fan, you would love this! I would definitely come back for the Naan, wings, and samosas! And I'd try a regular fruity drink.

Yelp
I stopped by here after flying in from LAX for a meeting. The place was packed but there was room at the bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating. t the advice of my fellow diners, I ordered the lamb biryani, that came in a smallish metal bowl but was actually a generous portion. Since no two biryanis are the same, they are difficult to compare, although there was a lot to like either the moist rice, balanced spices not too heavy on the fenugreek or chilis, and in particular the succulent chunks of tender lamb that had no detectable lamby taste. Altogether an excellent meal.

Yelp
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday and he loved it so much (I liked it too but he's the expert on Indian cuisine) it was a no brainer 5 stars. We got the aloo tikki chaat, which was the star of the show and a definite must order. It smelled so good we dug in right away and didn't get a picture -- from flavors to textures, it was just sublime. We also got the channa masala and the paneer makhani which were very yummy too! Just keep in mind that the curries and mains come with rice -- we definitely over ordered and got some naan too but I don't regret that at all because the naan was so fresh and soft. The cherry on top of a great night was the attentive and prompt service. They checked in often and were happy to answer any questions.

Yelp
After walking around the city in the freezing cold, this restaurant hit the spot!! From the start all of the employees were very welcoming and helpful! We ordered the Masala Fries and Veggie Pakora to start and I got Chicken Tikka Masala, my husband got Chicken Biryani, and our friend got Butter Chicken. We also got a basket of four different Naan breads. The food was PHENOMENAL!! All of us were so sad to be full after our meals because we just wanted to eat more! While eating each employee checked in to ensure we were satisfied and did whatever they could to make our eating experience amazing. If you are in the mood for Indian food, PLEASE eat here, you won't regret it!!!

Yelp
My colleague and I were staying nearby. We ordered lamb samosas for our appetizer to share. The samosas were delicious! I enjoyed a silky mango lassi that had the right amount of sweetness. I appreciate that the drink was very cold, as I like dairy drinks to be ice cold. For my main, I had chicken tikka masala. I ordered it spicy, which was a good choice. We shared an order of garlic naan. I wish my hotel had a microwave in my room so I could reheat leftovers. In addition to the delicious food, I appreciate that the manager & wait staff took their time to make recommendations to us. We had such an enjoyable meal thanks to them all.
