I don't know if there's a better chicken sandwich in St Louis. Fresh, flavorful tomatoes. A pretzel bun that sits back and doesn't overpower the chicken. Provolone that does not un-crisp that perfect breading. Their cauliflower is also fresh and tasty and very worth getting. Phenomenal meal.

The smoked turkey was So fire! The potato salad, omfg, the best I think I’ve ever had. Not from the area so this place seems like maybe it’s a hidden gem, but it definitely got a lot of business. Kids meal, and an adult meal was barely $20 and that was including drinks.

Family joined us at the Smoke House. Their from Texas and was amazed at the food and service. Right On Ya'll

My coworker bought me lunch from here take out for my birthday. Omg, I had never had smoked chicken wings before, and they were absolutely amazing! I also had the marinated chicken breast sandwich, which was tender and juicy, and the toppings complimented the sandwich well. The sweet potato fries were also delicious, as was the veggie sampler. 10/10, I highly recommend and will be back!

Phenomenal restaurant. My wife and I used to live across the street and would stop by about once a week. We still go out of our way to come here as often as possible and have for 6+ years. Super friendly staff and owner. The food is worth the wait.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. Not enough employees to handle large orders me and a few coworkers ordered from them At 12:30 when they open surprised that we got an answer on the phone to pre-order when we got there to pick it up. The people in the front had a attitude about how many orders we had is that we should have just separated our order ourselves. I sent on the cake was when we got there. The order still wasn’t ready. We also had one whole meal missing in which the older lady in the front was trying to argue with us that we wasn’t missing anything we had to drive 20 minutes back up there to get our food in which the owner said he sold my plate so we had to wait for another one to be made. The plate was thrown together and I still did not get what I asked for. I ended up just leaving out of frustration. It’s just horrible how you try to support your own people and want to see them win but they treat you like it’s a privilege for you to shop with them. no lies the food is delicious but I hands-down will never shop with this business again because I am big on customer service and where I spend my money. The orders were placed way before the business was open, so there’s no reason why our food should not have been ready. We basically got accused of stealing a plate even though everything was paid for they just forgot to pack the food up and send it off and then when we drove back up there, the food was thrown together and not what we had paid for highly disappointed

Really delicious food! Enjoyed the turkey tips - great choice if you like dark meat and don't mind eating around gristle (guy at counter was a little afraid I might mind that - was nice of him to mention and offer a sample). White meat lovers will like the turkey ribs which are also very good but like any white meat I found them drier. Enjoyed the beans and potato salad, too. Fridays they have turkey legs which my son tells me are great. Doesn't open til noon and food was slow to come out so call and order ahead if you're in a hurry on your lunch hour.

When I say they never answer the phone I mean never!!!!!! In the past month i've been here twice and each time there was a hand written note on the door that said they were opening at a different time. When I tell you that you waste gas money driving out here if you don't stay close. I gave a 4 star because when I got the chance to eat here the food was delicious and the turkey tips are the best. The girl at the counter on Sundays is nice and polite.

Food was great, everything came out piping hot. Wish there was more options for sides but I was very impressed with the meat, especially the wings. Customer service was great they helped with our decision making and I can say I'm glad we listened!

Small, unassuming space off of Olive. They only serve turkey and chicken products which I'm okay with that, even though secretly I was in the mood for a burger, lol. I got the 6 smoked wings with green beans and a fried chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was hot and fresh upon pick up. My only "complaint" was that my smoked wings were dry, as if they were reheated too long. The fried chicken sandwich came on a pretzel bun; literally my favorite besides the brioche bun. Cheese was a gooey pull on the sandwich too? Extra plus. The fries were basic steak fries, but they were seasoned, good and hot. I will definitely be back.

Best turkey ribs in the city! Got recommended to try the sliced turkey sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The mushrooms and honey mustard was a great choice. You can never go wrong with the turkey tips and ribs. The cashier did their big one by making great suggestions and keeping the line moving.

The chicken wings were well smoked, but really over salted (3*) The turkey ribs were a first time treat (5*) Green beans were solid, but unexceptional (3*). Sweet. & Smoky sauce was killer (5*). Corn was soggy and flavorless (2*). No costs are posted on the blackboard, so buyer beware. $38 for lunch is wayyyy over the norm (1*). A 30 minute wait for carry out was unacceptable (1*). I will not be returning.

My colleague took me here today. Great service, friendly staff and amazing food! One of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Typically I would never just do a pulled chicken sandwich, and I did. They really know what they are doing!

I have been wanting to try this place for years, and I finally found the time to try it. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint one bit! I called and placed my order and I was told it'll be about a 30 minute wait, because they had randomly received a order just before I called. As soon as I came, they were bagging up my order, which was at the time in which I was promised. I'm from Kansas City, and I know good BBQ when I taste it, and this was probably the best barbecue I've ever had in St. Louis. I took my order to go, but when I went in the vibes were nice and chill, and there were areas for seating.

I went to this place all excited to support a local black owned business. When we walked in , there were 2 customers waiting for their orders. I placed an order for turkey ribs, tips and chicken wings. They only serve 2 meats and they didn't have chicken. Stated," forgot to bring enough ". Sir , you just opened 30 minutes ago. Then it took 1 hour to get the food. Really?! For some fried food. I spent $76.76 for some lackluster, unseasoned fried food. The fries were soggy, the green beans, cauliflower and corn fritters were basic. The worst had to be the fried corn on the cob. It was fried with a thick cornmeal fishlike batter and completely dried out. The Turkey ribs were soggy dry. To top it all off, they didn't give me the turkey tips. So, in summary: poor customer service, long wait time, overpriced and flavorless. Save your time and money

The wings seemed overcooked. I've had them before and they were better. The Philly Chicken was awesome. The bread and sauce that came with the sandwich was great.

The food here is wonderful. My husband and I came here for lunch, and the food was plentiful and amazing. We loved the chicken sandwich, the turkey tenderloin, the coleslaw, and the veggie platter. It was piping hot and the wait wasn't too long. We'll come again.

Call or fax your order in. You can preorder for later in the day or for the next day as the turkey sells out. I preordered the day before and got my meal after work. The tips were very tasty and tender. The is nice and patient with new customers. The location is in a outdoor strip mall but I recommend turkey tips and slaw. I knew they were good when I searched bbq for the area and it attracted me because it is turkey meat. Whenever I am in St. Louis I will definitely put me an order in. I recommend.

Poultry-centric excellence at Olive and Fee Fee. We had the wings and the leg quarters and the excellent fried veggie assortment (Corn nuggets, cauliflower , green beans) with a nice ranch and a tasty aioli. Very nice owners!

The food is really good, however, the service is not. when you call to order, the voicemail box is full and redirect you to their Facebook page. I left my order, but luckily I called the next day to confirm it and actually spoke with someone that said " they don't check their Facebook messages"? I have NEVER done business like this before! I will give them a second chance and hopefully my experience will be better.

Gobble Stop has the best wings, chicken, and turkey in St Louis! This may be one of the places you've never heard about on the list but the line out the door needs no explaination! MUST TRY: Wings, Fried Turkey Sandwich, and Turkey Ribs! They also do catering, if you happen to be looking to cater in for Super Bowl or your next outing!

I found this on Yelp's food map while out working. I looked at their menu, and had picked out 3 sandwiches that I was particularly interested in. I told man it was my first visit and out of the 3, which would he recommend. He said the MCB(marinated chicken breast) sandwich was one of his favorites. So that's what I chose. It was absolutely delicious! The sandwich with 1 side was about $10. Not only was it delicious, it was very large. I probably should have only eaten half, but it was soooo good. I will definitely return to try some other things.

This place is infuriating. They rarely answer the phone, don't hold themselves to predictable business hours, and are generally rude and unapologetic when they can't serve you. I recently walked in to try and place an order and the place was full of disgruntled customers. The man at the counter told us that none of their food was available for purchase directly that day and that everything prepared was to fulfill preorders. They did not have a single item for purchase real-time and you often have to order weeks in advance to even pick up a preorder. Not only was the man unable to help, he was rolling his eyes and taking personal phone calls in the faces of all the disgruntled customers. Their food used to be stellar hence the demand, but no food is good enough to put up with poor customer service, poor business acumen and a clear lack of understanding of how to meet supply and demand. Sadly, after years of patronage, Gobble Stop's operations have dwindled beyond repair and I will not be returning to this establishment.

Gobble stop is THE BUSINESS! The smoked wings were meaty, flavorful. The marinated chicken breast sandwich was breathtaking. Came with delicious large sweet potato fries. I got full, haven't had the turkey ribs yet. They were out of turkey tips on my visit. But I'll be back!

My wife and I got here just at closing, which was an hour before what we'd thought. While they had sold out of the turkey ribs and some of the other entrees ( which is the mark of a good bbq joint!), the owner managed to help us put together two fine dinners to go. The bbq chicken wings were, without a doubt, the finest I've ever had. Bursting with smokey goodness, large meaty portions, they were more than we could finish (but were just as wonderful for lunch next day). The smoked turkey sandwich was no less revelatory, piled high on a perfectly chewy pretzel bun! Well worth a special drive!!

I absolutely adore this black-owned business, when I'm lucky enough to be nearby on the days and times they happen to be open. Food is bomb, and, as a person who doesn't eat pork, I really appreciated how unique their turkey "ribs" are. Perfectly tender, meaty, and delicious with their BBQ sauce, I now get the occasional craving for this tasty treat. We've enjoyed all of the sides we've ordered from them as well, and will be back each year for a turkey come thanksgiving (we got smoked last year, can't wait to try Cajun this year!). The service has always been accommodating, and I appreciate that they are upfront when they're out of stuff. I can't wait to get back for another order of ribs!

This has got to be the best smoked turkey ever. I particularly like the black bean burger and the veggies esp the deep fried corn but the owners are very friendly and personable. I see some that come in that may do some talking but it's mainly quiet ( that means the food is good) as people are munching down on the food. I normally get the gobble down platter and or if it's something they ran out of the gobble up. My brother and mother always ask if I'm on 270 freeway to go down to gobble stop. I did happen to go during covid and I do like how you order and someone either will call you or they will tell you how long and will be outside waiting so you can pick up.

The food was really good. Pulled chicken and cole slaw. The service was good. The interior is not good at all. Needs many repairs to seats and a good cleaning. It is a shame, the product is good. However, I do have to say they did a pretty constant business.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon for a carry out order. As many have already mentioned, the service can be slow. However, I am a firm believer that if it takes a while for the food to be delivered, the taste should be justifiable. Let me tell you - as soon as I took the first bite of what I ordered, it was delectable and well worth the wait! Additionally, I found the price to be really cheap for the large portions of food you get. Four people attempted to eat two platters. We almost finished, but it was so filling that we just could not! I ordered the Gobbledown Platter and Double-Up Platter. The smoked wings are possibly the best I've had. The smoky flavor is out of this world, and the inside of the wings are not dry. I can enjoy them with or without sauce. As for the turkey ribs, there was quite a lot of meat in each one and they were quite tender. They pair nicely with the smoky BBQ sauce. I actually didn't care for the turkey tips much, as they had more fat than I prefer on my meat. The leaner pieces that I did eat, however, were still pretty good. The sides of coleslaw were decent. I was supposed to get 3 sides total with all that I ordered but I only got 2. By the time I got home, they were already closed. However, I called back the next day and they were kind and apologetic, and will give me credit for that side the next time I order. That's all I ask for so I'm pleased! Overall, this was a pleasant experience leaving my wallet and stomach happy. As a first timer here, I have become a fan of this place and will make my way here again in the near future.

Was in the mood for bbq and so we decided to try here and I'm so happy we did. I got the turkey plate with potato salad and my husband got the pulled buffalo chicken sandwich with baked beans. Hands down best bbq we've ever tried. Service was great and quick. We will definitely be back soon.

First time here. Staff is super friendly. Got the gobbletown platter that includes two turkey ribs, 4 chicken wings, and 1 lb of turkey tips. I don't know what turkey tips are but that and the chicken wings were my favorite. All had a nice flavor. Turkey tips were tender and moist. Got the green beans and baked beans as sides and both were good, I would get them again. The veggie sampler included corn nuggets, fried cauliflower and fried green beans. The corn nuggets were moist and sweet. The breading on all didn't seem to have any seasoning yet tasted very good. I enjoyed the fried cauliflower too. I will definitely be back for more turkey tips and to try other items.

The smoked meat here is great, if you can get it. The service is painstakingly slow. Even at opening, they often don't have key menu items. One day, I asked for "Chicken Leg Quarters". "Don't have those today", I'm told. Friday, the special is "Smoked Turkey Leg". Today is Friday. They didn't have any. The website is out of date and does not provide an online ordering option. They don't answer the phone. The voicemail box is full. Definitely needs new management. Won't be back.

Was next door working and could smell their smoke so come lunch time I had to walk through the back area of the parking lot to get there and one of the owners was out checking the meet in the smoker. After some idle chit chat, the guy says, let me putting something hot in your hand, and he gave me a sample of one of their smoked wings....HOLY SMOKES, it was AMAZING! Went around and went inside to order. The place is small and does take a little time but it was because there were quite a few people waiting for food and to order. There is about 4-5 tables inside and then a bunch outside too. Everyone was super nice while I ordered and all the customers were just sitting eating like we were one big family which was great! I ordered the Turkey Tenderloin Sandwich which had provolone cheese, portobello mushrooms with mustard bbq sauce that I substituted for their sweet and smoky sauce. I got one side, baked beans of course, and the whole meal was fantastic. I loved this place and it looks as if folks have checked it out already but if you haven't, ya gotta go!

FINALLY!!! I got a chance to patronize this business! I've heard so many good things about this place and I made it!!! First off, it's a black owned and ran establishment! FIVE STARS FOR THAT OKAY! Although the greeting wasn't warm, it didn't matter because I was hungry and not in the mood for small talk ya know?!? ANYWAY, I ordered six wings with sweet potato fries. The wings were not over big, just the right size and melted in my mouth!!!! The sweet potato fries were horrible because I don't like them in any fashion. But the choices of sides weren't favorable either so I ordered them. I also got two chocolate chip cookies that were AMAZING! This place deserves five stars but only get four because I need better side options! Otherwise please make sure to check this place out! Next time I need my wings ON TOP of my bread! There's nothing like a slice of bbq soaked bread!

Came in from Miami with family, and we were in the mood for some good old fashion BBQ. Since we were in the area, the reviews for this place was something we had to check out for ourselves. To go to a BBQ spot that doesn't serve PORK was something new for us. When we entered, we were quickly greeted and after a small conversation, the waiter recommended the Turkey rib. Which i may add, was by far THE BEST TURKEY RIB IVE EVER HAD! My dad was surprised as well, we ordered the fried corn and 8 wings which we were able to share and throughly enjoy. I wish i took pictures to justify how good the food was.

I ate at this restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of someone here in the Creve Coeur area. I was never aware this place even existed, but was very pleased with my meal! They serve you a very generous amount of food for the money. The MCB (marinated chicken breast) sandwich I ordered was a tasty large chicken breast on their pretzel bun and the sweet potato fries were plentiful and tasty as well. The staff was kind and courteous. I will be adding this restaurant to my list of good carryout places to eat at. I will be going back to this place in the future, for sure!

We just landed in St. Louis and the rental car Ladies at Thrifty SWORE by this place and recommended "turkey ribs"! New to us!!! So we map quested it and we got a bit turned around but we figured it out and it was DELISH! The turkey ribs was so good, moist and meaty!! The sauce was off the chain! Loved the potato salad too! Hubby got a fried chicken sandwich with onion rings and rings were Fire!!! So yummy! I hasn't had onion rings in forever and they were so good! My Daughter has wings and sweet potato fries. She loved it!

I found this spot accidentally in 2016 while in the St. Louis area for training. I've made it a necessity every time I pass through since then. The turkey ribs are a unique treat and sides like fried green beans bring it all together. The large platter is reasonably priced and worth its weight.

First time here. Found on Yelp. Was in area for another matter. Small mostly take out joint with amazing food!! Wife had 1/2 lb. of turkey tips with sweet and spicy sauce on side. I had 8 chicken wings tossed in their mustard bbq sauce. Wifey tips were tender and delicious!! The sauce was fantastic. She had a side of potato salad that was cold and handmade. It was wonderful! I had steak fries with my wings. They were fresh cut and fried crispy. So freakin good! Great staff. I think the gentleman's name was Demond. He was friendly and pointed out they would be at a music festival in Forrest Park later this summer. Look them up...great food!!!

I was very impressed with the food and the service. Took my friend there for a birthday lunch. I was hesitant because it seemed more casual then our usual places to eat. Their business seems to be mostly carry out but that really did not bother us. We ordered the gobbledown platter but they were out of turkey tips so I changed it to the family meal and upgraded the sides to the fried green beans and the fried corn on the cob. It was our first time eating those sides and we loved every bite. The wings and turkey ribs (also a first) were delicious. I also order a salad wanting something green which we ate first. It was very fresh. They don't really have waiter service but they bring the food to you and are very accommodating. I plan on going back soon.

So what the hell is a turkey tip, Turkeys don't have tips.... as in rib tips like other animals?!! Well, I still don't know how they do it, but Gobblestop does like James Brown and the JB"s "Make it Funky!!!" Turkey tips 4/5 : The meat was on pointe; mos defly turkey but somehow in a shape I haven't seen from a turkey b4 lol if that makes sense. Anyhow it was hot fresh and oh so 4sho flavorful. If you're not familiar with Creve Coeur area, you might want to use the GPS because you will miss this place because it's tucked away in a strip mall. Get up and get you some Gobblestop in your life

I wanted some exceptional bbq for dinner and I also did not want to disappoint my daughter who rarely likes my recommendations. Well, Gobblestop did not disappoint. The owner provided great service and the food was nothing short of amazing. Will I be back? Duh!
