Godmother Bake & Brunch

This place has a good mix of Vietnamese and western food. Everything we got tasted wonderful, the truffle pasta and com tam is a must try! The portion size is perfect. It can get pretty busy so be sure to make reservation if you’re planning to come in bigger group.

Godmother has moved to a new location, so I decided to give it a try. My first impression was that this location is much bigger than the previous one, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The decor is beautifully done, making the space feel warm and comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. However, one downside was the long wait time for our food. I arrived around 3 PM, and the restaurant wasn’t busy There were only about three other tables, and they had already finished their meals. Despite this, it took the kitchen 30-45 minutes to prepare our three orders. Unfortunately, when the food was finally served, it was cold, which was disappointing. We ordered three dishes: Tiger Prawn Linguine, Lasagna, and Shitake Pasta. The flavors were great, and the ingredients seemed fresh, but the temperature of the food affected the overall enjoyment. If they can improve their service speed and ensure the food is served hot, this place would be a fantastic spot for a casual and cozy meal

The worst food I’ve had in SEA by far, I literally took 1 bite of my meal and couldn’t have anymore. I ordered the eggs Atlantic. The dish was cold. The hollandaise sauce tasted like straight margarine and was cold and coagulated. The egg whites were still partially raw on the eggs. The salmon was really fishy and I was suspicious of it. The mcmuffin was cold and soggy, not toasted at all. The dish itself was also on the pricey side I will say the salted coffee was nice and the restaurants atmosphere/interior design was very pretty, but it’s a shame the food was so sub par. Very disappointed. We were also the only customers there at the time so can’t be blamed on being too busy.

Visited on 30/4 during the parade day. Despite the crowd, the staff remained attentive and did their best to serve everyone. The food was delicious—especially the honey butter toast (wish I took a photo!). The burger was great too. One of my favorite spots!

Overpriced food with great service. We ordered the single smash burger and an iced latte with vanilla and an additional shot of espresso. The latte was extremely bitter. After one sip I couldn’t finish the drink. The Smash-burger was bland but the bun was good. I explained to the server the coffee wasn’t good, I was still charged. $14 USD for both items.

Friendly and courteous service 🙏🏻 Accessible balcony for a nice view of downtown Saigon, and a romantic setting for couples and friends. Bingsu is on point, and generous with its ingredients. Carrot Cake with cream cheese was surprisingly tasty and perfect texture; looks can be deceiving! Honey toast was a big disappointment - the toast was too big such that only the top was coated and an uneven texture - bottom was tasteless and rubbery.

This place looks luxurious and the prices say the same. The food is good but nothing special. Coconut coffee unfortunately didn’t taste like coconut. The looks of the place are great tho!

Had a great experience here today. Really good food with reasonable pricing. Ordered Miso Salmon and Honey butter toast and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and service was good! the food came timely and the atmosphere is really nice here, feels like a good start to the day.
