In a word: bountiful. Here, you will cook your own food, like your proteins, seafood, pork, beef and chicken. The protein options are pretty good and you can choose up to 6 options. There are a few options to choose from for your sides as well and some options you will need to cook, for example zucchini, red & green bell peppers, mushrooms, button or oyster mushrooms. There are plenty of small items available such as kimchi, pickle radishes, seaweed, pickled zucchini and many other appetizers. Before you know it, your table is full of dishes. Depending on the protein you ordered, determines how long it will take you to actually start eating. If you don’t mind cooking your own food at a restaurant, then this is the place for you. I especially liked the baby octopus and squid we chose and the spicy marinated pork belly, both were very tasty. But be careful with this all you can eat option because it is way more food than you think. We ended up leaving a lot of the meat on the table.

Google
Great service, ordering via the tablet was super easy and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean. So many choices on meats and veggies, tasty ice cream desserts.

Google
Good service, kind workers, and great food! Korean Gogi is a great all you can eat place. I went with my family for mother's day and they were all very kind. Great place!

First of you have to order through their ipad machine at your table. The meat selection is ok. Meat quality is average. Ember korean bbq steak is better IMO. Soup bases for the hot pot is good. They have a sauce area you have to go to to make your own sauces. I’ll say it’s above avg korean bbq overall.

Wow! We were totally impressed with the ambience and the welcoming we received once we entered this establishment. Our server Fivona greeted us with such admiration. She offered excellent hospitality. My grandson had been here before and wanted us to try out this restaurant. This restaurant offers Korean barbecue or the Hot Pot or both, we decided up on the Korean barbecue. This restaurant offers all you can eat. They allow up to 15 items to choose from. The variety of meat and fish were delivered to the table and what we chose were totally fresh and seasoned to perfect perfection. There’s a self service table that has all of the condiments, like whole & minced garlic, chop green onions, sesame seed oil, Hot oil, soy sauce, etc., including a variety of mixed fruit. For desert they have soft serve Ice cream cups. If you love well seasoned food, bring your taste buds and appetite. You will not go wrong. We will be back. Oh! By the way the bathroom was very clean and had a fantastic aroma.

Google
First time here and the food was great. Love the fried dumplings, that was my favorite. It’s soft not hard and crispy like other places. Here, you get to choose however many appetizers and 6 choice of proteins. There’s a sauce and salad bar. The sauce was good, they even have chili oil and many choices to choose from. We didn’t try the hot pot this time but definitely will try it next time. Great and friendly staff. Parking was a bit packed because we went during dinner hours but wait time to get seated was right away.

Google
Place is clean and looks very premium. It looks pretty spacious inside too. They had quick service whenever you place your order. However, for the amount you're paying, you'd want the meat cuts be a bit more premium. The cuts are in the same tier as some other cheaper Kbbq places but not by much. This doesn't affect much in my final rating as I feel it's still very much worth the price.

Google
We've been here six times now, and every time we get the hot pot and BBQ combo. I like the Gogi House spicy broth. My personal favorites are the bone-in short ribs and pork belly. I enjoy the hot pot more than the BBQ here. For bbq, I prefer OZ because I feel like the marinated short ribs taste better. But we do stop here when we are in the area because it has a little something for everyone.

Yelp
Not a fan of grilling your food at the table because you end up smelling like food when you leave the restaurant. I had to make an exception due to the fact the boys wanted to kick it. My boy Mando picked the spot so he got busy on the grill. This place had a huge tv and other big tvs all around but they looked small compared to the huge one in the center of the restaurant. Customer service, well idk if you could really call it customer service because you hardly have an interaction with the waiter. You order your own food at the table, you cook your own food. All they do is bring u refills. They have a tablet at the table where u just pick what u want and they bring it to u. You have 2 hours to eat. Thats the limit you have of you get the bbq. Idk if hot pot also has a limit. The food was good I'm not a fan of the buffets cuz i feel like i dont eat enough to get my moneys worth. The bathrooms were clean, I was confused on the salad bar thing they had. I liked it tho, not gonna lie I would come back. Just stay away from the baby squid that was nasty. Check them out. U gotta get the little breads with the condensed milk, HELLA FIRE!!

Yelp
10:17:25 No wait win! It's been a hot minute since we've been back since this place is a 40 minute drive for us but there are so many choices added to the area. I e came for hot pot tonight. Started off strong with everything we ordered coming right out but after ordering pea tips 3 times and b crabs twice and it not coming out when they aren't a full house makes me question why they are ignoring our order submissions through the tablet screen. Neil was our server and was attentive when needed. Ambiance isn't as crowded as it was a couple years ago!

Yelp
Decided to finally try this place and it was a big regret. The spread given to the table was maybe only 5 items. Pretty bare compared to many other KBBQs that I've been to. First round of food came quick, but very annoyed when the waitress wanted to swap out the grill because she turned up the flame to high and food was burning, but she then just proceeded to change and then just DUMP our cooking food back onto the new grill instead of letting us clear out the food before changing. Already annoyed by now. She was maybe only one or 2 people checking on all the tables and was careless. Second round of food came out slower and when she cleared out some of our empty dishes, she carelessly splashed some discarded food into our rice bowl and she seen it occur, but she quickly just stared at it and then walked away!! Didn't even offer to bring out a new bowl of rice!! Also what restaurant gives you a big bowl of rice to share with a plastic fork fork!?? Third round we ordered oysters and lettuce wrap, but items never came out. When we asked what happened to our order, they said it will come out. It wasn't until we asked a second time then the oysters came out but no lettuce. It wasn't after we ordered our forth round until the lettuce finally came out. At this point, we had cooked meat that we didn't even eat because the lettuce came out so late. When the waitress asked if we wanted to change our grill and we said yes...she then just walked away and watched her bring out water and change other grills for a few minutes before coming back, so we sat there for a few minutes with empty grill because we didn't want her to just dump our cooking food back onto a new grill once changed. Yes, she was busy but that's why there should have been more waiters/waitresses. When we asked for some water, she filled my cup and also spilled a lot of water on my arm, leaving a huge puddle on the table, but no apologies or offer to come back to wipe up all the water. The food definitely did not taste the best. Some items were bland. The meat and seafood seemed more on the lower end. Another annoying issue is having to keep scooting all the way to the inner side of the table to order food on the installed tablet. This set up is inconvenient and probably a cost saving measure to not have to have more attendants working at the same time. Overall, I will not be going back and also not recommending to others to try Gogi. The restaurant feels like it is on the lower quality spectrum althpugh the price isnt much lower than OZ in West Elk Grove or Gangham Ave on Sunrise.

Yelp
GoGi Korean BBQ & Hot Pot has a cool vibe and good food. Ordering from the tablet is kinda convenient but kinda a pain in the ... it's fixed to the wall and awkward to order from. Needs to be detachable. Service was usually quick and the sauce bar was a nice touch, and adding hot pot for $5 is a good option. Dessert was nice with some fruits, ice cream, and a cool cotton candy machine. It can get loud, and the ordering process could be smoother, but overall, good food, good energy.

Yelp
This is the second time I've been to this place and the first time was great! We were seated at a booth that the bbq flames up and got way too hot (server told us) so that was the only thing that was a little weird since there were many other open tables. You would think they would use that table as a last resort. Everything was yummy! The have an ipad attached to the wall for ordering which is a bit difficult to reach. Only one person can really reach it. It would be better if it had a something that you could remove it from. Food was delicious! Ambiance was super chill. They do have a cool cotton candy making machine that you get one free for eating there. There's also a really cute picture taking area.

Yelp
Our favorite place to get Korean bbq the selection of meats and sides are great my favorite is creating your own dipping sauce that goes so well with the grilled meat. Definitely great staff and service the place is nice to bring family or go on date night I recommend trying!

Yelp
Came at noon on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. We did the hot pot only. I love that they have a tablet at each table so you can order things at your own pace without having to flag someone. However, their tablet does have glitches and would do multiple orders when pressing a button not meant for that. Some of the items we'd order on the tablet did not come out so we'd have to put in another order. I wasn't a fan of the banchan sides that go with the kbbq because they just didn't look good honestly. The appetizers were okay like French fries, japchae and potstickers. I got the Tom yum soup base and enjoyed it. I thought the meat quality was pretty decent. They also have a sauce bar where you can customize your sauce. There's also a freezer of those mini ice cream cups in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and orange sherbet. The ice cream was already kinda melted so they might need to crank up the freezer a bit more. At the end, they gave us a coin to use for their cotton candy machine. Seemed like it was one cotton candy per party and not per person.

Yelp
First place to eat when we got to Elk Grove. Customer service was great, you order your meats, soups and everything except drinks on the iPad. They have a sauce station to make sauces and a freezer for the ice cream for afterwards. The restaurant is clean, workers kept coming to serve and check up on us. The food was great!

Yelp
Good food options and great customer service. The marinated meats are delicious! Not too crowded on a Saturday too.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and definitely won't be my last. First off this place is pretty big and can accommodate for big parties. They have a huge projector screen and tvs all over. They do have a full bar as well. We did the bbq and hotpot, it was only $5 extra to get both. The broth was really good! You can order upto 15 items at a time and it comes out with in a few mins. My favorite was the short ribs! All the marinades were on point, didn't have to worry about seasoning, one of the best parts is that you get to make your own dipping sauce! If I'm doing Korean bbq or hot pot, I am coming to this place! The turn around is really fast so we only had to wait about 10 mins to be seated. Prices weee pretty comparable, it was $40 a person for bbq and hotpot, so come hungry!

Yelp
I'm not the one to say I like cooking my own food when we go out for dinner... but we've been to Ox and now here. This place changes out the grill OFTEN! I liked the self serve ordering at the table for more items. Bonus on the sauce station and ice cream to go. Also even though we were stuffed to the brim we had to get the complimentary cotton candy. Yummy beautiful artwork on a stick - AI is amazing.

Yelp
My family and I come here all the time. I love how we've seen this place evolve since they opened. The business is definitely thriving and you can tell because service and entertainment here always gets better. This is the best AYCE restaurant in Elk Grove. shout out to Joleena, our server today was amazing! I mainly come here for the hot pot. My favorite broth is the creamy milk . They have many options of meat, veggies, and additional items. I highly recommend the beef belly and lamb. They also have a sauce bar that has fruit, salad, seasonings, and my personal favorite, green tea salt. At the end of your meal they also have an ice cream cup freezer with strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. The coolest new thing they have is the cotton candy machine, which is currently included with your meal. You show the front host your receipt and they give you a coin for your cotton candy. The best time to come here is right before the lunch/dinner rush. They can get REALLY busy during peak hours. I would really take advantage of putting yourself in the waitlist prior to arriving.

Yelp
Recently came in to try this place and I am impressed! Comparable to my favorite place that's located in the bay. You can do Korean BBQ, hot pot, or both for $5 more. The server takes only the drink order but the rest you order on the tablet. There's a large selection of items on each menu screen including appetizers, meat, seafood. My favorite is the oysters and cheese corn. Everything is fresh and comes out quickly. There's a sauce and fruits bar with different kinds of sauces you can dip your meat in. I mix a bunch of different ones to get some good flavor. Can definitely get busy but the tables are huge and there's plenty of space inside. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I love this place. I came here around when they first opened, and ever since then they have been my go-to spot for Hot Pot even though I'm about an hour drive out from here. I really appreciate the iPads for self-serving instead of having to flag down a server and the fact they bring the food out so quickly afterwards. Everyone at the table has their own individual pot for hot pot. The place is very open with lots of tables and a sauce bar that provides plenty of options to make a yummy sauce for your hot pot and/or kbbq. They have my FAVORITE meat, Australian Wagyu available for hot pot and I am just in love. They also have lots of big screens and play trendy music and have an area that you could take cute photos in the front of the restaurant. I've brought almost all my friends and family here and have recommended this place to anyone that asks. The prices are standard compared to other places I've been and that is much appreciated. I've been here maybe 10+ times since I first have and I only wish they were closer to where I lived!

Yelp
It was such an experience! We stopped by for dinner and although online it said dinner price was $33.99 it was closer to $40pp. You pick your proteins and seafood from the tablet that is attached to the wall. It was a little challenging to lean over and then reach to order your protein. Perhaps in the future the tablet can be detached for easier access and convenient. Other than that you can order anything on the menu and the server brings it out pretty quick. There is a sauce bar which was helpful and if you wanted hot pot it was an additional $5 more. It was packed by dinner time and the staff were all working quickly and attentive. We stuck to the bbq. As for desert there was fruit, ice cream anddddddd the best part a cotton candy machine. They'll give you a token and you get to pick what design you want for your cotton candy. I was like a little girl at the candy store. I was sooooo excited and couldn't wait for my cotton candy! Such an experience and great vibes. Normally when you're at a bbq places it's filled with smoke and you smell like bbq... there wasn't much smoke and didn't smell cooked.

Yelp
This was my first time here meeting with friends for Galentine's brunch . We came in when they first opened so there was no one there . We sat down and told them there is one more friend joining us later . We ordered and our order came quickly. However the drinks never came . Our server barely checked on us We had to track her down more than once about our drinks . Our drinks finally came when we were almost done . Aside from the bad service, the food was good. The hot pot broth was delicious. However the appetizers were not good and tasted old . Our 4th friend ended up not coming so we reminded our server not to include her in the check . Even after the reminder their server STILL brought us a check that charged four people even though my friend never came . AGAIN we track our server down and told her not charge us for it . She said " okay " and what do you know ? We get back our receipt and they STILL CHARGED for four people !!! Come on now . We told them AGAIN and we had to wait for a manager to fix it which took about 20 minutes. Which was very inconvenient because some of us had to go back to work . And not a single person apologized for this " mistake" . Won't be back again. My advice to you is to always check what they charge you .

Yelp
12/4/24- Decisions- decisions.. Taking my youngest out to dinner, and unfortunately, I chose here than our regular AYCE Korean... Disappointed- there's a new (since our last visit).method of ordering - an iPad attached to the wall- Logistically the iPad does not extend with a swinging arm- so that means only the closest person sitting can do all the work of ordering- Honestly, I felt every time we placed an order through the iPad, our food would get delivered, but kind of thrown on the table as they passed by- You order your drinks and sides with the server- Wings were disappointing- as the gyoza .. The boneless galbi, seaweed salad, and French fries were the best out of all- Pork belly and the steak was tasteless- The sauce bar/ salad- why? I'm already cooking my meats and veggies- then have to go serve myself sauces?.. Expensive for two with sodas $81 and only liked three of the items..

Yelp
Food was excellent. Service was quick. There was little to no explanation on how things worked. I told the front and the server it was my first time there but still had to figure it out. I figured out about the sauce station. How to work the grill. Etc. Regardless everything tasted amazing.

Yelp
I LOOOOVEEE KBBQ and Hot pot and I have to say, this has the best meat ever! I'm not sure what it is but every thing we got was absolutely delicious. Stand out was the brisket though, omg so good. I don't remember our servers name but he had nice nails and blonde/silver kinda hair. He was amazing. He was super sweet and made us feel comfortable and confident enough to navigate the menu on the tablets. The location itself was clean, the music wasn't loud, the lighting was good, and the aesthetic was great. Overall it was a great and we will be back!

Yelp
This place always seems to impress. The portions are large. The food is fresh and delicious, the service is phenomenal. Management is constantly checking to make sure everything is good, walking around making sure things are going smoothly. The ambiance is family friendly, community oriented, and modern cultural. Let me also add whenever we come we love the sweet ending.

Yelp
I love the convenience of ordering off an iPad. I love the sauce bar, the variety of ingredients, and the food is tasty!! I ordered the ton katsu soup for hot pot and I also paid the extra $5 to add Korean bbq grill. They have things on the menu that a lot of places in surrounding areas don't offer such as pork blood?! Or even simple options like taro and Chinese donuts. Yum!! I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for both hot pot and kbbq!

Yelp
We dropped in a little before 1pm on a Sunday. We did the AYCE hotpot and korean bbq $34.99. It wasn't busy at all. There were some tables taken. I chose the pork bone broth and ordered a side of Mala spicy broth to put some in. My favorite was the live clams. They were so fresh and big. We also liked the pork jowl, galbi, kobe hot pot beef. Soft tofu, mushrooms, and veggies were also good. Side dishes were also good. All fresh ingredients. Surprisingly, we didn't smell like bbq afterwards.

Yelp
I've been to Gogi a couple times & the experience of both were very different. The transition to the tablet vs menu/server experience drastically changed the overall experience, especially when dealing with a large group. I will never come back with a group because it's just not an enjoyable experience. Walking into the lobby, esthetically it's now so appealing & such an Instagramable moment to take pictures. The booths are very spacious & tables are large. The placement of the tablet is awkward, so only the closest seating to it can use it. When orders were placed on the tablet, many items were forgotten & never arrived. This happened multiple times. In my frustration of having to deal with a hungry crowd & the inconsistency of food orders, I told my server we'd be placing orders with him. He sensed my frustration & assisted the best he could. The tablet concept is convenient for the establishment, but when dealing with a group, it would be most helpful to be offered placing orders directly with the server from the beginning. Food was very tasty from the hotpot to KBBQ. Potstickers, beef bulgogi, galbi short rib, & korean kimchi broth were some favs.

Laura V.

Yelp
Food and service is always great! Chance and Ray are always fun, courteous, professional and super helpful! The cotton candy machine is a nice treat afterwards.

Yelp
The different cuts of meat and styles here are wild! We did both the bbq and hot pot selection and we were overwhelmed in a good way. There is so much selection from the kbbq to the hotpot that you are bound to find something you like. They have good cuts of beef, chicken, and seafood. The beef quality is great! Tons of appetizers choices as well. The wings were ok but the popcorn chicken was good. The service was also great here. Were we able to reserve a table for 8 adults and 3 children on mothers day. Waiters were polite and attentive. They hand you a tablet so you can do all the ordering on there. There was quite some mix ups with the orders but expected because we had 2 tables. The decor and ambiance definitely is a family friendly spot with tons of tables next to each other and had basketball playing on the huge projector. I would recommend for a big party as long as you got a good chef for bbq!

Yelp
GoGi has been a staple for me and whoever else I'm with when we want Korean BBQ in Elk Grove! The service is always spot on but it was magnified by 100 yesterday thanks to Neil! Neil was attentive, professional, and amazing despite the fact that the restaurant was packed! The food is always so good! My favorite is the pork jowl (or pork cheek)! When cooked properly, it's the best thing to eat! The hot pot broths are all so good - my favorite is the herbal one! Being able to order on the iPad helps keep the pace going and ensures that there's no downtime in between cooking on the grill or in the pots! If you're looking for bomb Korean BBQ and/or yummy hot pot, GoGi is the place to go!

Yelp
Love love love this place!!! Everything about this restaurant is 5 stars. They have great selection of meats for the AYCE! They also have optional hotpot available for $5. Broths are yummy! I absolutely loved their Wagyu finger beef's. So delish! They also have salad bar and sauce bar. It's so convenient and quick. Staff is friendly and efficient. Very clean inside, they have big TVs. And each table comes with a grill and hotpot area! Def would keep coming back!!!

Yelp
Came here around 1 on friday. They definetely changed alot since the last time we came, interior was different and their menu had more stuff and was better. We did ayce hotpot for lunch, 24.99 pp. You order off a tablet now so its muchhhh quicker and things come out so much faster. In general their items were all good, the meats we tried were lamb beef and pork one idr the names but they were all good! They also had scallop which was cool lol. Pretty good and much much better!

Yelp
This was almost a 5. My dad was super excited to come here because he came once and loved it. I've been disappointed by half kbbq and hotpot places before, so I had high expectations. It was around 8pm that we got there, and luckily there was no wait. I put us on the waitlist anyway just in case. I will say that the order is quite intuitive. I like that we just an ipad rather than having to go do a huge list to tell servers what I want. It's a big place so people are definitely running around, but the vibe is still fun. I liked the huge selection, and we did do both kbbq and hot pot. I did the mushroom broth for my hotpot. It was very flavorful. I couldn't tell you everything we ordered, but the ingredients were definitely good quality. I loved being able to go to the sauce bar and make my sauce too. That was great. I will say though that there were some things we didn't end up getting even though it was in our order list, so definitely make sure to check what you ordered. There is also a help button on the screen, so someone can know when you need help. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.

Yelp
This was a wonderful lunch. My hubs and I decided to visit a number of restaurants that serve ramen and rate them. First we tried Lomi but they were closed for construction so we had pho at a place nearby. Today we tried to go to Kajiken and we were informed they ran out of ramen. So we went to GoGi and it did not disappoint. It's all you can eat, although I can never eat that much, it was worth it. We added the HotPot to get the ramen. Service was excellent. Will be returning

Yelp
We should have known when we walked and we were the only ones there at 11:25 that we should have turned around and went to Ember.. My second time here (wanted to give it another chance) and still sucked! 1. No one in the place but we got sat right next to the kitchen 2. In the middle of eating, the helper behind our booth started banging out the bbq pans with a large metal spoon. 3. After 5 mins of continuous metal banging, my husband asked to be moved or for them to stop. Our tall asian waitress asked if we wanted the music down, lol, no lady, I can't eat with all that racket right behind my booth. 4. When the banging stopped after the waitress went and told him something, the cook came out and asked the helper why he stopped and which he pointed to us.. the cook looked mad and coughed hard into his hands and wiped his nose with and smirked at us.. lol .. we were then done now.. never again.. 10 mins we left they had 2 more families come in. They could have sat us anywhere, away from the noisy kitchen but I felt they sat us this way because it would be easier for them.. just always a horrible experience and customer service lacks greatly.. Had to ask a few times for items I already ordered and had to send things away I never ordered. Bulgogi was more like onion bulgogi, ribeye was more like a chuck roast, no LA Ribs available, condiments looked old and was prepped the night before, rib fingers were chewy as hell, they don't offer tofu soup or steamed egg as part of their menu which is bit a staple in Korean bbq.. JUST SUCKED

Yelp
Must try place if you love hotpot and Korean bbqs. This place is huge and the table are spacious to accommodate all the options that comes with your order of hotpot +bbq. With every round you get to order 6 choices of meats, seafood (including crab), veggies etc. service was attentive and prompt. We absolutely enjoyed our time here and don't forget to grab a cup of complimentary ice-cream on your way out :)

Yelp
Food is always great here. Love how you can order from the kiosk and make your own sauce. Lastly, their to go ice cream cups is a quick grab.

Yelp
Interesting place that has promise. I really wanted to love this place since it's close by, and there are some positives and negatives. On paper, the ordering process is amazing. You can just use the tablet to order and keep the food going. However, the tablet is at the end of the table, which means only 2 people can access it. They have to stop eating, drinking, or cooking to tend to everyone's needs. Not only that, with the way tables are, it's kind of an awkward reach toward them. I wish there was more than 1 tablet at the table, and it would make dining with groups way more easy. I like the fact that you get both hot pot and KBBQ for just a small charge extra. That is awesome, and everyone gets an individual pot. It allows everyone to have their own tastes and preferences. The meat itself was just fine, on the KBBQ side. Didn't blow me away, but that's fine. Quantity sometimes is more important in these settings, and high quality is just a bonus. I wasn't dissatisfied though. I liked it. The awkward tablet positioning and consistently having to interrupt whoever happens to be closest to the tablet isn't great. If that were fixed, it'd be much better. There also is a time limit, which is fine, but for large groups, I can see that being a deterrent. Especially if they remind you when it's not too busy.

Yelp
Good food, great service, great ambiance. Went for lunch and did the hotpot combo with the bbq. We ordered on the tablet and got wrong meats and veggies but it's ok, we ate it all since we were super hungry.

Yelp
Tries to go to Oz BBQ but they had over an hour wait. We checked in on Gogi and only had 20 min wait for our table. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a beer. Bartender was nice. The food experience was great. We ordered everything from the tablet and it came to our table. I wish they had salt and pepper to season at the table, but they had a special bar for seasoning and condiments. My favorite of the meats was the galbi and bulgogi. The ribeye steak was great, but since it wasn't marinated, it needed some seasonings. I liked that they had rice paper so I could make some little tacos. And the huge projector makes for the perfect casual dining atmosphere.

Yelp
I have to say that every single time we've been here, I have to give major props to the kitchen staff. I feel like they work much harder than our actual waiters and waitresses. Not only do they bring us the food, but they also change our grills, clear our dishes, and are always really polite and fast. We were just here again on New Year's, and we were very happy with the service provided.

Yelp
Get the kimchi soup base! If you were debating on another soup base, just get the kimchi soup base. Likeee really just get it, it's so good. I've came here a few times and have tried different soup bases each time but I felt bad having to switch one of them to the kimchi because it's so good and the experience here would be so much better with it. I've never tried the kbbq, but their meat quality is pretty good so I'd assume it's just as good as the hotpot. They have a sauce bar in the back to make your own and give out appetizers in the beginning. The lunch AYCE menu is affordable and so worth, but are missing some of the favs from dinner menu. I definitely recommend coming here if you're in Elk Grove. The service, however, can be improved because we didn't get checked on as often and had to wait or call on our waiter if we wanted to order more or to get our check. Still, great place and am always happy to come here for a big back date lols.

Yelp
Came here for lunch bbq. Meat quality is same as before. Service is same. Side dishes are same. Small salad/fruit/sauce bar is same. Icecream freezer is same. However, cost for one person is $24.99! It was $19.99 two months ago. That is a 25% cost increase! Anything beyond cost improved? No, none of them. Restaurant owner: you increase 25% on cost then there got to be something improved. We will not come back at least for a long while. BTW, there is another Korean restaurant with better quality and price at BestBuy shopping center.

Yelp
We went to dinner with some friends and I'm lactose intolerant and I don't eat much fried so I honestly didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered lots of fresh vegetables and meat. And it was delicious. Highly recommended. We had a wonderful evening.

Yelp
Our favorite hot pot spot! Servers are always friendly & typically really fast. Like my other reviews... the spot is vibey! & their music choice is top tier haha. They have a good variety of broth to choose from - we typically get the spicy tofu. Delish! They have a good amount of toppings to choose from, the meat is quality & their sauce bar is perfect. You also get a thing of ice cream at the end of your meal. Our fav spot. We try to go every time we're in Elk Grove.

Yelp
We went here for my birthday and did Korean BBQ only. I loved ordering on the IPads and having a sauce and toppings bar! It was really helpful seeing the pictures and reading a description before ordering since everyone else in my party has never been to Korean BBQ before. The meats and sides came out very quickly. It was so busy so definitely recommend getting on the waitlist while driving over. We were absolutely stuffed after!

Yelp
GoGi Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is a great place when you want lots of options. I love taking my picky friends and family to GoGi so that they can get whatever they want and have it their way. We always just opt for the BBQ and hot pot option to maximize the customization of the experience. We've tried the miso, tonkatsu, Korean kimchi, spicy tofu and house spicy broths. All were good but they are not kidding on how spicy the GoGi house broth is so be warned if you can't take high heat. While it's incredibly spicy, I did like the flavor of it. All of the meat and veggie options were of good quality and were as expected. The BBQ meat had good flavor and was fresh. Staff were friendly and super quick to bring out orders and refills for drinks. They replaced the grills on multiple occasions and came to help put out some large flames that happened with our pork cheek and pork belly cooking. Restaurant was clean and spacious with new iPad ordering instead of the old laminated menus and markers.

Yelp
Great quality meat, solid menu selections, and high-quality service earn GoGi 5 stars from me. For hotpot, everyone gets their own soup pot, which I loved. Our server also mentioned that they allow broth swaps/changes, which came in handy for me when I realized the GoGi spicy broth was a bit too spicy for my taste buds XD. Sauce is self-service at a sauce station, which also has other small eats like fruit. In the middle of all that meat consumption, my table had a digestion break and cleansed our palettes with lychee...it's the little things like this that make a restaurant experience top-notch for me! GoGi definitely has a fast-paced, bustling feel to it, but the service stays on top of it! My party of 11 was served quickly, with no problems, and with great energy from our server. Would return, and would definitely recommend this spot!

Yelp
KBBQ and Hotpot! Have both $5 more on top of regular price (varies time and day, see menu for pricing). Galbi and Chadol are our go to items. Served with side dishes from kimchi to bean spouts and mashed potatoes. Also self service sauces and ice cream as well. Order from the tablet at your table. Great quick service. 2 hour time limit. Complete party needed in order to be seated at your table. Great ambiance. Bar area and projector showing live sporting event.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times now and the food and service has always been great. They even have ice cream for dessert which is nice. The front of the store is beautifully decorated with a flower backdrop and nice little seating area. However this time the service was alright.. We were ignored by our waiter several times while he attend to other tables near us, he also some how refilled every table's water cups except ours when ours were empty.

Yelp
The workers here are nice and friendly. They even have a heart shape cute out flower arch you can sit in the middle and take picture so cute. The cool thing is you can order everything on a tablet aka iPad. One thing I don't like is every time you add something to the cart to order you go to a separate page and have to click the back arrow if you want to add more items to your order and if you don't click add the food won't get sent to the back. This actually happened to us, because we was like where is our order and when we look at the iPad it was not click to sent to the back. The sauce bar even have fruits like lychee. They Free ice cream of your choice of chocolate vanilla or strawberry.
