A great local spot. Wine shop/bar next to delicatessen/cafe with outdoor seating (heated in winter). Nice brunch menu. Gets busy at weekends.

Absolute favourite deli in Notting Hill. When I used to work in the area, I went to the deli almost every day for 3yrs. The big breakfast and freshly baked croissants are particular favourites of mine. The food is always freshly made, delicious and their lattes are superb. The deli is split into two parts, one for fresh produce, sandwiches, fruit/veg, hot drinks and the other side is the wine section with seating inside. The bar section takes reservations and it stays open until 10pm Wed-Sat. I personally love the outdoor seating area - sitting outside with a coffee and a slice of carrot cake in good weather is unbeatable. It does get seriously busy on the weekends with big queues! Saying that, it's worth the wait. It's also in a very trendy part of Notting Hill/Portobello Road. Highly recommended for food and coffee lovers. 10 out of 10.

I have been to this Deli a few times but mainly for a wine, however this time I had some good too. I ordered a chicken and avo salad and my friend got a salmon salad - it is quite pricy around £16 however the size of those salads are massive! I was so full after and they were made with some quality vegetables too because they were proper tasty. I also then had some cannolis but they were made slightly different to the classic Italian ones - absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back to try more food. The wine selection is amazing too - the staff will help you choose something that you will definitely love, highly recommend this place! The seating outside is a massive bonus!

Ahh I love it here! There was a queue when we arrived but am glad that we waited. Even though it was freezing cold, we sat outside under the heaters! To warm us up we ordered the soup of the day and one of the toasties. Both were super delicious but the soup was my favourite - I wasn’t expecting it to taste of cumin but it was super flavourful! I also ordered an oat latte and almond croissant, which were both sooo good!! Will definitely be making a return to try their wines and other delicious foods :)

Super kind staff, amazing wine selection and the food was delicious. People create the atmosphere nice homey atmosphere. Many gluten free options, and very delicious gluten free bread.

More like a wine place than a breakfast place. There is seating space outside but on a cold and windy day its no fun. This place is quite popular in the area. Breakfast plate was very small (smallest I have seen in my breakfast experience in London) and quite expensive for its worth. Coffee was fine but served in a plain white disposable cup which was a turn off. I am sure I wont go back again but no harm in exploring on a warm and sunny day.

I love places with individuality, and old school “savoir faire” not forgetting high quality wines, champagne, great food and the what makes this place so special is the people that work here. Good music, and the deco is exquisitely poetic.

Wonderful deli, wonderfully fast, wonderful manager. So friendly to us. We were visiting Notting Hill for four days and popped in every day. The manager lent us two umbrellas for our stay, served coffee before they officially opened, and the food was amazing.

Food was good, location is great, atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. We were just looking for a quick lunch and found this gem.

Several years and many lunches later, Golborne Deli has expanded into the property next door and on weekdays spills over not just onto the pavement but also into the parking/market stall lots out front. The salads and sandwiches make for a tasty mid-week lunch treat even though they are a bit on the small side. But today's Sunday afternoon experience was a major disappointment. Specials of the day are displayed on a blackboard outside, tempting you in with a selection of hot main courses - all under £10. Meat balls with pasta were just what the hangover doctors ordered, but we still took ages on making a choice and I actually opted for eggs benedict instead. Only then were we told that the meatballs were actually no longer available, no apology. My order arrived while my friend was still deliberating over her substitute order. Not the best I've had and rather weirdly served with ketchup and mustard - wish they'd be a bit more generous with the avocado instead (this "twist" to this staple helped me decide, the slither of green was barely visible under the egg). We tried hard not to have our sunny Sunday afternoon spoilt by my friend's second attempt at ordering from the specials menu. The salmon filet looked anything but freshly cooked and turned out to be dry and chewy. Staff removed the offending item without a word (or apology) ... we did not give it a third try and asked for the bill instead which - surprise, surprise - included a charge for the inedible salmon. They did take it off the bill in the end, and while we were waiting yet again for the waitress to return with the card reader, the woman next to us queried the quantity of salmon (barely visible) and tomato (one slice!) in her gourmet salad. Apparently she is a regular and knows what she's talking about ... Glad to know it wasn't just us - on the other hand, just not good enough!

Our food was so delicious! We had a lovely breakfast. They also had a wonderful gluten-free selection! I enjoyed my food so much I had seconds. I would definitely comeback if I could! This place is highly recommended! I love Golborne Deli. I wish we had one in America! -Adam's 13 year old daughter

Came here for a Sunday brekkie break and so glad that I did. They serve italian fare like paninis, but they're more like open face sandwiches here. I got the scrambled egg and prosciutto and asked them to sprinkle some cheese on top. Boy howdy that was tasty. On a random note, the eggs are extremely yellow and Im not sure why that is. Maybe it's a preference? They capp wasn't that bad but a little weak. Id probably get a macchiatto for perking up purposes next time. One star lost for the dreaded bench seating communal table that takes up a huge space in the dining area. There are little tables around it though but those generally get snatched up when its busy.

Had a good brunch with friends, although I didn't think it was outstanding. I had the eggs royal, which was decent. I thought some of the salmon smelled a bit at first, but it was a filling dish overall. They had a good range of drinks, including detox juice and smoothies. The brunch range was also good, although I have seen better. Service was generally good. Things were brought out on time, and the staff were overall pleasant. Ambience was casual and cosy. They had two stores side-by-side but not connected, so be sure to clarify with your party in which side to meet.

This casual spot was perfect for a quick, fresh bite. Inside, theres lots of wood and small tables nestled closely together. The wait staff are friendly, but busy. The menu has a lot of healthy options - salads, paninis, bruschettas - and they are all pretty delicious and fresh.

Delicious Lunch, excellent service always. Served by Stephan the second time, very polite and attentive.

Mediocre experience here last Saturday. Felt very unwelcome when I walked in with my senior chihuahua on a lead; nary a smile and looks of annoyance from the staff. The detox salad I got for takeaway was quite expensive and whilst the BBQ tempeh was lovely, the overall portion was too small and I was still hungry afterward. Overhyped and overpriced.

Saturday Lunch - Been here a few times, be prepared to wait for a table as they're always busy. The coffee and food makes up for the questionable service. Great spot for people watching

Service was really slow, at first we didn't mind that much. We ordered a cake, one americano and a lemonade. The cake was terrible, dry, like it wasn't fresh at all. The coffee was ok. But the lemonade didn't come, and then we got a silly excuse that they were too busy, but what real happened is that the order was taken wrong...

The place is very cute and I love the down to earth feeling - breakfast eggs are Machiavelli eggs and yummy!!! It is a try neighbourhood cafe - the reason for the three star is the fact that service can be quite slow and food quality except eggs can vary quite a bit. Also it used to have a lively, warm waitress but she seems to have left and the place does not feel the same anymore....

Had a great brunch here. Amazing food and great coffee as well. One of our party is gluten free and she was thrilled with the options and quality of her meal (believe she had the GF pancakes). There was a little bit of confusion over our order and the waitstaff were not exactly quick to sort it out, but overall very friendly service. Would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed this place so much we ate breakfast there for the week we stayed at the Portobello House Hotel. The food was delicious and as health conscious as you wanted/needed it to be-gluten free, dairy free, etc. Although I like to break my routine when traveling experiencing different foods, an American style breakfast is important to my husband. This place had plenty to satisfy us both. Their cakes were super: Orange-Fig-Cardamon and Pistachio Raspberry Rosewater were my favorites. Everyone who worked there was very friendly. It's a popular local place and being there felt like we were part of the neighborhood, not just tourists.

Nice atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon though a little too crowded in this little trendy cafe. Some good organic and vegetarian selections and a nice range of ciabatta sandwiches and salads. Prices are reasonable too for the quality offered, but it was just a bit too packed and there aren't too many other options if you want something other than a sandwich, salad or soup.

This place has really good fresh food.... for good prices!!! They are pretty close to my home so I would come here on a Sunday morning or some evenings if I want a break from cooking. The food is always great! Their breakfast menu is really good....If u need gluten free food...Their taste really good!!! I would recommend!!!!

On sunny day place to be , coffee is art, food even better . Friendly staff, atmosphere .
