Best bbq in slo hands down. Went to their new location in the creamery and it was so good. Not too heavy and full of flavor. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Will be coming back ! Get the brisket breakfast burrito !!!!

Perfect spot to bring the family. They were very accommodating to my picky 5 year old eater and he ended up eating his whole breakfast, which is unheard of. Top notch service. I can't wait to come back for lunch and dinner!

Highly recommend getting the breakfast burrito with brisket and bbq sauce on the side. Love the new, expanded location!

They now serve breakfast! Very gourmet and delicious! Wow, what a coincidence - we saw Charlie and Ruben there now. We were regulars at Marisol Cliffs Resort where they used to work. Loren, the owner, is so lucky to have these very experienced jolly and very friendly staff who have been in the hospitality business for 20+ years! Loren himself was very personable and passionate about his business- to help him succeed. We will definitely come back for the food and the vibes- Jane, MD and George

***Update:*** Since the original review I was contacted by the owner. It appears they missed shutting off online ordering when they closed early on a slow night. They quickly refunded our payment and graciously made up for the inconvenience. I have finally had the time to return and try the BBQ. Wes helped me and was very courteous and friendly. I went with a "one of everything approach" for the family to get a little taste of the whole menu (standard practice when trying a new BBQ joint). It did not disappoint! Everything was tasty but we particularly loved the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, coleslaw, mac and cheese, beans, and hot mop sauce. I had mentioned to a friend I was heading down to get food and he said "get anything, you can't go wrong"...and he was right. Great businesses know how to turn a bad customer experience into a good customer experience. Looking forward to our next visit. They are certainly open and certainly delicious. ***Previous Review:*** Just placed an order online on a Friday night at 7pm...arrived to pickup our food and the location was closed. Not sure if they are out of business now...but if not now it will likely be soon (based on this experience). Walked around the corner to Old SLO BBQ and had a wonderful meal. Order at your own risk.

Jason and Charlie are great! Fantastic food and a great, family friendly atmosphere. We had the breakfast burrito. Great quality and quantity for the price. So good to have a business like this in the Creamery!

First time visiting and I had their breakfast burrito. Tri-tip & pulled pork combo, the homemade salsa, everything was so tasty! Charley was very welcoming and fun to chat with. I’ll definitely be coming back for weekend brunch & mimosas! Salud!

The place was clean and service was great. They don't sale Sausages it was just to make their page look good. Unfortunately, the food was really bland and dry. The brisket is supposed to be juicy with a deep smokey flavor. The ribs had a great presentation but also no flavor under season. Don't be afraid to add seasonings Gold land BBQ. Now They state "cooked on live fire" but I suspect that all the meat is cooked on a propane grill and if your a bbq guy you know that's a big no when it comes to brisket and ribs. Great presentation though.
