We went to the tasting event in the beginning of October, 2022, the Taste of Fall. First we had a small tour with the owner who showed us around some olive trees and talked a bit about how farm works, what kinds of apples they grow, etc.
Then we had olive oil tasting experience paired with bread and some snacks. It was really interesting, the tour guide was explaining the difference between flavors, how oil is made, etc. We also tasted apple vinegar and sauce and those were amazing.
For the second part of the tasting we were offered cheeses paired with apples. There was a lot of appetizers offered on the side - nuts, dried fruit, crackers, more apples and pears. Really nice selection of delicious foods and great experience. It's a bit sad that we can't buy particular kinds of apples and can only purchase two kings of cheeses out of seven offered for tasting. The farm is working on making those foods available for purchase. It's cool how they offer you fruit picked on the day of tasting. They allow their fruit fully ripen on the trees, and because of that the flavor is rich. Some are sweet, some tart, some are crispy. They have nice variety of apples and ship only a limited selection to the stores because not all fruit can survive transportation. We found the place through Google, because we really liked their apples purchased at Whole Foods. It was a great experience, we particularly like apple sauce and their olive oil with kumquat.
Everyone at the farm was attentive and kind. You can tell that they are really trying to make your experience pleasant. Definitely would recommend going there for a tour if you can schedule it or you can just buy stuff at their store.
