4 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Los Angeles: November 14 | Eater LA

"Known for its stone pot phở that keeps the Vietnamese noodle soup piping hot (a great option for a rainy weekend), this Rosemead spot really shines with the special broken rice: a 10-item platter featuring steamed egg cake with ground pork and vermicelli, nem nướng (Vietnamese pork sausage), egg rolls, a shrimp paste drumstick, and a fried egg. At under $25, it can easily be shared among four people, especially if you tack on bánh bèo — steamed rice cakes topped with shrimp floss — and an additional order of egg rolls. To drink, a bittersweet and eye-widening Vietnamese coffee or refreshing lime soda are ideal, and if you really want phở, the bowl sizes are very shareable, too." - Eater Staff

This place is awesome! The pho is really good from the broth to the toppings. Very fresh ingredients and rich in taste. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful explaining some of the dishes. We got a rice combo with 3 items and it was delicious I'm glad our waiter suggested it. Pricing is a bit high but not by much.

I thought the food was really good. We got the Nem platter which comes with grilled sausage, charbroiled pork and egg rolls so that we could make our own rolls. In addition there were vermicelli noodles, herbs, cucumber and other greens. I thought it was a healthy alternative and could easily feed two people.

If i would give them 10 stars, i am happy to do it. They are always remember how to serve me with togo chopsticks and ceramic spoon due to im allergy with nickel spoon and plastic chopsticks. I do love their professional staffs. The staff are always friendly, quick. The restaurant is super clean and the decoration is simple but cozy and fancy. The best thing is the quality of food. All of them are must try. I do recommend this restaurant. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to everyone.

Golden Delight Vietnamese Restaurant delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Every dish we tried was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the *huge portions* ensure you leave fully satisfied—perfect for big appetites or sharing! **Canh Bún (House Special Tomato Soup with Thick Vermicelli)** – The broth is absolutely divine—rich, tangy, and deeply savory, with the perfect balance of tomato brightness and umami depth. The thick vermicelli adds a wonderful texture, and the generous serving makes it a meal in itself. **Imperial Rolls** – Crispy on the outside, packed with flavorful filling, and served with an abundance of fresh herbs. The portion (six rolls) is perfect for sharing.**Golden Delight Special Broken Rice** – A *hearty and filling* plate! The broken rice was fluffy, and the combination of grilled meats (especially the juicy pork chop), pickled veggies, fried egg, and fish sauce tied everything together beautifully. The portion is so big, you might even have leftovers. The service was friendly.Whether you're craving comforting soups, crispy rolls, or a fulfilling rice dish, Golden Delight nails it—with portions that match the incredible flavors. Highly recommended! Gotta to early coz there’s always a line and during dinner weekend dinner time it might be hard to find a parking

I came to LA from San Francisco and visited Golden Delightful, and the whole experience genuinely impressed me. Their signature dish is served on a hot stone, and placing the beef onto the sizzling surface is not only delicious but also a really unique experience. The Vietnamese style sausage is another must try, with great texture and a deep savory taste. Everything here feels carefully prepared, and I even caught myself thinking I should move from the Bay Area to LA just to enjoy food like this more often. This place truly made my trip better, and I would come back without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Google
Went during a not so busy time, but the food took a while to come. Approx. 20 mins just for a bowl of vermicelli. The food was good overall, but if you’re in a rush to go somewhere, this is not the place to eat. If you are sitting by the window, they tend to drag the wait time in order to hype up the business. It’s a little more on the pricer side, but it’s worth it.

Google
Upon entering Golden Delight, the first impression is the interior decor themed in gold and white; the lighting, tables and chairs, and even the glass jars for condiments all echo the restaurant’s name. The overall environment is also exceptionally clean and bright; it’s probably the cleanest Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ever visited! Moreover, the choice of music is excellent, making dining here very relaxing. This time, I ordered the signature Golden Delight Pho, and it’s my first time having it in a stone pot—very special! Not only does it look more upscale, but it also keeps the soup warm longer. The broth’s seasoning is perfect, the meat is selected very well, the beef tendon is stewed to a tender and bouncy texture, and the fresh bean sprouts are generously provided. I couldn’t help but nod while eating; it’s so delicious! I also ordered a lychee oolong tea; the sweetness and aroma are just right, and there are even two lychees in the tea—truly delightful. I also really appreciate their service; every staff member has a smile, answers questions kindly, and takes good care of the customers. You can tell it’s a great restaurant with a warm, human touch!

Yelp
Golden Delight excels in every aspect, from food to service to ambiance. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions that make each meal satisfying and worth the price. The service is friendly, attentive, and efficient, making you feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout your visit. The ambiance is warm and comfortable, creating a relaxed, inviting space that's perfect for both casual meals and longer sit-down dining. Altogether, Golden Delight delivers a well-rounded and enjoyable experience that keeps customers coming back.

Yelp
By far my favorite restaurant to grab some hot and delicious Pho. The broth is very tasty and is served with a nice big portion of meat and noddles. I've been here a few times and the pho is always on point and the service is top notch. Oh and don't forget to get the Thai tea. It's amazing!

Yelp
I've yet to try the first location, but I got to try this newer second location! It's quite nice, brightly lit and fancy inside. On weekends the plaza is SUPER fisted due to the market on the other side and big grouping of so many eateries in the plaza, so keep this in mind since you might need to circle around a bit. However, on a weekday night, we were able to find parking and managed to get seating for a party of 7 before it got too busy. Whew! Service was super efficient and friendly, even with my severely broken Vietnamese, I was glad that the waitress was quite patient and kind. For our party we ordered the: 1) Golden Delight Pho - Pho Dac Biet: -This is the deluxe pho. Comes with filet steak, fatty brisket, tripe, tendon, beef ball, green and white onions, and cilantro. Love that this comes in a stone bowl. Aesthetically pleasing and allegedly holds the heat longer than a regular bowl. -Perfect texture for noodles and the broth is flavorful. They don't skimp out on the meat either. 2) Spring Rolls: -Comes with 3 pieces and all of the fixings (lime, chilies, peanut sauce, etc.). -Filled to the brim with ingredients inside and it's not super dry either. Solid spring rolls and they're pretty sizeable too. 3) Vietnamese Steamed Rice Cake with Dried Shrimps: -Comes with 12 pieces. -Love the slight crips on the edges. Put a little bit of shredded carrots on top and add on the fish sauce. Delicious burst of flavor in each bite. I don't get banh beo super often, and getting it here is a must. 4) Chicken Curry with Baguette: -This became my friend's brother's favorite. It's now his staple dish to order here. Very flavorful curry. It's Vietnamese style so it's more watered down and not as thick, making it perfect to slurp up or dip with the baguette. -Delicious boiled veggies in the curry that absorb the flavor wonderfully and you get a generous amount of chicken in it too. 5) Bun Rieu: -This is ground shrimp, egg, tomato, and soup with vermicelli noodles. This was the least favorite of the things that we ordered. It became SUPER salty after adding in the ground shrimp and even with mixing it, it was almost impossible to eat. I wouldn't get this again. Might have been the worse bun rieu I've had as a Viet. The only reason I'm demoting the review. The banh beo was super addicting and yummy. I've only been here for one visit, but I'm glad it's now a staple for my Cantonese friend.

Yelp
I came to Golden Delight on a rainy day for dinner with my family plus a few of our family friends. I haven't been there in a long time, I didn't realize how popular it is! We were a party of 9 and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The parking lot itself gets crowded so from the time it took my sister to park the car, to the time we were seated wasn't too bad. The restaurant is very... aesthetic? There was a lot of gold, makes sense though because it's called Golden Delight haha. The waiters were super quick and friendly. Whether we needed water refills, plates, extra bowls, etc, they were on it!!! Everyone ordered pho, I ordered banh beo, and we ordered fried egg rolls and spring rolls for the table to share. We might have over ordered, because the portions were huge and we barely finished all the food we ordered. The spring rolls were my favorite, filled with shrimp, pork, rice noodles and veggies. The rice paper skin was fresh and chewy, not dry and stale like some restaurants have. The peanut sauce was really tasty and made the spring rolls 100 times better. I ordered the Banh Beo, I wasn't too hungry for a whole bowl of Pho and my sister offered to give me a small bowl of it so I could try it. The Banh Ben was great!! So filling, I ate about 7? And gave some to my family so they could try it. They all thought it was delicious and had a good amount of toppings. My sister ordered the original Beef pho and wow the soup was tasty, not overly salty, had a good amount of beef and tendon. YUM!! Overall I'd recommend Golden Delight to anyone who's in the mood for pho. Fresh flavors, fresh ingredients, super clean restaurant, complementary sauces, attentive waiters-- 10/10 for me!

Yelp
I fear Golden Delight might be overhyped. I came on a Friday night and waiting 35 - 40 minutes and I think because of the wait I expected the pho to blow my mind but honestly it was just mediocre. I will say for 17 dollars a bowl that they do give a good amount of meat but I wouldn't say the portion sizes are out of the norm. Most pho places I go to have big portions. I also think the broth was lacking in a depth of flavor and aromatics compared to other pho places I've been to in the OC. It could have been more flavorful filling and crispy. The vermicelli($15) with grilled pork and egg rolls had a very one dimensional flavor. The egg rolls could have been crispier as well. I really did enjoy the spring rolls ($11) thought. The shredded pork was really flavors which balanced extremely well with the herbs and vegetables in the roll. Overall I highly recommend the spring rolls but nothing can beat Brodard spring rolls.

Yelp
The second time in my life trying nem and it's so good I forget how much I'm missing out on. This one was pretty pricey but the menu said it can feed 1-2 people, which was true. It lasted me two meals. I chose the Vietnamese grilled pork sausage and charbroiled sliced pork of which both were pretty tender. The sausage was juicy and tender, which was surprising. Unfortunately, my dish took the longest to come out in my group of 5. I think they forgot to put in my order because it took an additional 10+ minutes for it arrive after everyone else's did. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though. We came on a Saturday at 2pm and it was still pretty busy. We had to put our name down on the waitlist and it took an additional 20 min to get seated. The interior decoration is very out-of-the-ordinary for a Vietnamese restaurant with white marble and gold accents.

Yelp
I used to be a fan of their original location #1 that served more Viet and Chinese dishes, but this second location leans fully Vietnamese. This spot has become one of my go to places for noodles, and their com tam is also really good. I usually rotate between the bun rieu, bun bo hue, pho dac biet, and canh bun. The broths here are legit and full of flavor. For com tam, I normally get the three item plate and the grilled nem is solid too. It does get pretty packed and the plaza parking is horrible, but lately I've been calling in my order for pickup. At this point, I'm basically a weekly customer. They package everything nicely and it heats up well at home, which I appreciate. This is definitely one of my current go to Vietnamese spots in the SGV. Worth checking out if you haven't tried it yet.

Yelp
One of my go to Vietnamese restaurants in the area. This is their second location that's more spacious and better parking. I dine and order take out from here regularly. The wait could be long during peak hours and on the weekends. The food is always consistent and tasty ! My fave thing to order here is the bun rieu, I love all the variety of toppings they give, meat balls, meat loaf, fried tofu, pork ribs, pork blood and hock. The broth is flavorful and one of the best in the area. I also like their pho as well, I'm not a huge fan of the stone pot so I always request it in a regular bowl. I've tried their broken rice but I think other places are better. Overall this is a great spot if you're craving Vietnamese food, they have an extensive menu ! Service is usually pretty quick but can be delayed when it's busier.

Yelp
A solid spot for Vietnamese food, I love the gold aesthetics of the plating and the beautiful interior. The food is delicious, I had a com tam dish (broken rice) and chose 3 items of my choice. I do think the pricing is a little higher than some places but still reasonable for the portion size!

Yelp
My parents had not had Vietnamese food in a long time, so we decided to go to the Golden Delight in Rosemead. It's a very bright restaurant. There are abundant seats and the servers are nice. We got seated fairly quickly at 11 AM, but saw there were long lines by 12 PM. I wanted something different so I got chicken curry. We also shared a 3 item pho with tripe, tendon, and brisket, as well as a shrimp, egg, and tomato soup vermicelli. The food came out fairly quickly. The curry had a slight layer of grease at the top but otherwise was really good. It went well with rice and then I also took it home and dipped it in bread. The pho was quite tasty and adding some lime made it amazing. The vermicelli had strong tomato flavors and I loved the various meats and tofu inside the dish. Solid Vietnamese restaurant for the San Gabriel Valley.

Yelp
I have heard a lot of good things about Golden Delights, especially from a few influencers in Southern California's food scene. Overall, the food here is decent, with some food items really standing out and a few that don't. Stone bowl beef pho - 3.5/5. The stone bowl feels more like a novelty than a way to enhance the dish's taste. The soup is okay with a distinctive, stronger-than-usual anise flavor - it's subjective, some people love this, not so much for me. The soup lacks a rich, meaty flavor. The rice noodles are okay; they didn't quite have the best texture. The meat ingredients, like the fillet, brisket, and tendons, are good. Bun Bo Hue - 4.5/5. Soup has a multitude of different flavors that blend well together. Love that there is a special, more savory, shrimp-paste-based chili sauce available to spice up the soup and dip the meats. Speaking of meats, the pork knuckle in the dish is well braised, especially the soft meat layer and skin. The beef brisket is okay. Noodles are okay. Fresh rolls - 4/5. They use high-quality ingredients for the fillings, which are well wrapped in rice wrappers. I especially love their dipping sauce, a deep, smoky hoisin sauce with peanuts.   Golden Delight has an extensive menu selection with many interesting dishes. I would still like to try their Broken Rice, Oxtail Pho, Pho Ribs and Meat Noodles, Grilled Pork, and Nem Vermicelli, etc. Definitely coming back for those.

Yelp
Went with a party of 4 to Golden Delight #2 on a Saturday night after finidng this place through Yelp. The place was full and my group waited about 20 minutes. The way that the restaurant is laid out, the dining area is shaped like a L with a tail that has 2 rows of tables when its no longer in the main dining area. We were put in the very far end which wasn't a big deal. The whole restaurant is lit really well. Because the interior is mostly white, its really noticable when driving on Valley. I and someone in my party ordered the broken rice with items, another person ordered the beef rib pho and the last person got the vermicelli noodles. We also shared eggrolls. The eggrolls were overkill but so tasty. My meal was great and probably one of the best broken rice dishes that I've had. It was also on the pricier end for broken rice dishes. Service was kind of weird. The person who ordered the beef rib pho had their food come to the table 5 minutes after ordering and the last dish came out 20-25 minutes after. We also had a back and forth after the meal. We asked for to go containers when they brought the bill. They then forgot to come back and we had to walk up to the front to ask for the to go container and to pass the bill back. Even though there was spotty service, I still daydream of that broken rice. The food was all too good.

Yelp
This is going to be a half-a** review and I just wanted to let the dine in experience sink in a little, by a week or two before I leave a honest opinion. I loved the Pho Broth here. Its different than most places. Their pho broth is uniquely distinguishable from every other pho restaurant and that's saying something. I really liked that they combine the use of a a hot clay pot like Yuanan Rice Noodle Soups, and you just throw everything in. It's creative and keeps the broth hot at all times. Why 4 stars. Kinda pricey for Pho. Food quality, service and decor are all top tier. Just cannot justify the upmarket spend when Pho is supposed to traditionally be a working class family meal.

Yelp
We ordered takeout from Golden Delight #2. It was the first time trying this place so we didn't know what to expect. We got the egg rolls (6 pieces in 1 order) and the grilled pork and nem vermicelli combo, and everything was amazing. First off, everything was packaged so well. It was really neat, secure, and still fresh by the time we opened it. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy, not greasy, and full of flavor. The grilled pork and nem vermicelli had such a great balance. It was savory, sweet, and fresh all at once. It was a little on the pricey side through Uber Eats, but honestly, didn't mind it because we really liked the food.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Tuesday evening and we were seated right away. Staff was very attentive, and overall vibe was casual. Parking was easy in a shared lot since we arrived closer to closing time, but I can see it getting more crowded during peak dinner hours. 1. Vietnamese Steamed Rice Cakes with Dried Shrimp- standout appetizer! The presentation was unique, and the rice cakes were very fresh. The dried shrimp topping added just the right amount of flavor. Definitely best enjoyed fresh. 2. Golden Delight Special Broken Rice- a great option if you want a bit of everything. All the ingredients were very fresh and I loved the variety. Presentation was clean and nice as well. 3. Golden Delight Pho- a classic. The ingredients tasted fresh, and we loved that it came in a hot stone bowl- it kept the broth warm while we were trying the other dishes. The pho noodles also had a great texture, with the perfect chew. 4. House Special Tomato Soup with Vermicelli- this is one of their newer menu items (?) The tomato broth was a bit subtle and could've been richer but the variety of toppings made up for it. A solid choice if you're looking for something different. Would definitely return for the rice cakes and pho and also to try other dishes!

Yelp
Tried out a different dish this time: Ground shrimp, egg & tomato soup w/ thin vermicelli ($15.99). It is a pretty big portion and also includes pig blood chunks, some chunks of tomato, and some small pork ribs. Overall, this was good but broth was kind of top sweet for my taste. The pork ribs were dry and hard to bite off the bones. I'd stick to their pho or broken rice next time.
google avatar

Yelp
If you want solid viet food you must come here. They even have niche dishes like bun tang, bun mam. Pho & com tam are also delicious. There is usually a wait but I haven't waited too long during the times I've gone. Mostly weekend lunch and one time early weekend dinner.

Yelp
I came to Golden Delight with my partner for some dinner! I've been to the other Golden Delight on Garvey and wanted to see if the quality is on par with the other! They were pretty packed but I got seated within 15 minutes on a Saturday! The service was great! The ambiance was loud since this restaurant was packed! I got the bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli with grilled beef and egg roll) and it was delicious!!! The fish sauce wasn't too fishy or salty, which some people aren't used to. In addition, the crunchy peanuts add a nice texture into my meal! Meat was well grilled and tender and the eggroll was great and fried well! I would recommend coming by if you're craving Vietnamese food! TIP: The parking is ample but be wary since this parking lot can be PACKED! I recommend driving near the end since the plaza has two sides for parking! There's two gender neutral restrooms that you can use on the left side of the restaurant!
google avatar

Yelp
Been coming here since their soft opening with my three kids. Love the ambiance, thr golden decor and the service. Living in SGV, we got choices and this is one of the three pho spots we hit when we want the good stuff. Must get their pho, their egg rolls, the spring rolls, AND dessert! Its so hard getting ahold of their herbal dessert. But once you get ahold of it, its worth it!

Yelp
I'm always on the hunt for good Vietnamese food. This place is situated in a plaza with a lot of other restaurants. Parking is ample but can get pretty busy on weekends. I came on Tuesday around 1:30 and waited no longer than 5 mins. It was quite noisy in there and hard to have a conversation in there but the restaurant itself was really nice. Decor looked fancy. I ordered: Vietnamese Grilled Pork Sausage with Sliced Pork (Banh Hoi) - 4/5 - I was craving a spring roll type of meal and this hit the spot. Initially I wanted to order it with roast pork, but they didn't have it available. Vegetables were fresh, and both the pork sausage and sliced pork were marinated well. Chicken and Bamboo Shoot w/ Vermicelli (Bun mang ga) - 3.5/5 - My mom ordered this and I thought this was ok. The broth is a plain chicken broth, with a hint of bamboo shoot flavor. Make sure you dip your chicken in the ginger fish sauce. It pairs well with the dish and makes it what it is. I would personally not order this again. Banh Beo - 3.5/5 - Wanted to try this as well and I thought it was good, I've had better though. Overall a good spot, with lots of variety on their menu. I would love to come back and try their Bun Bo Hue and Rice Plates! Enjoy!

Yelp
It's. It hard to guess that their food is delish. Waiting line is a sign that they did something good. Service is always excellent there, we have Thom and she is always so nice, attentive with a smile. Food is great, we had the 10 item combo as always with chicken hot stone pho, some rolls and I forgot what it's called but it's yummy. We will be back, good food and service always bring us back.

Yelp
I rarely go out for Vietnamese food because my family makes it at home. Glad I tried this place out because the food was delicious! Went here around dinner rush and the wait was only 8-18 minutes. Service was quick and everything was very clean. We got the Beef Short Ribs Pho (Phở Sườn Bò) with additional Slice Filet Mignon and the Charbroiled Pork and Egg Rolls with Vermicelli (Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò). The most important thing about Pho for me is the broth. This broth was very deep and had great flavors! Didn't need to add hoisin or sriracha. Meat was plentiful and tender. If you get the Filet Mignon in the side, your bowl will come as a very hot stone pot so you can cook your meat in the broth. A little pricy but I think it was worth the price. $17.50 and $2.50 for the extra meat. The Charboiled Pork and Egg Rolls with Vermicelli was really big and only $14.50! The pork was yummy and the egg rolls were really crunchy too. The fish sauce was delicious and definitely should pour it over the noodles. Will definitely come again to try the Bún Bò Huế and the Bún Riêu next time!

Christine D.

Yelp
Had the chicken pho in the stone bowl (which was an extra charge) and it was very tasty! The broth for chicken pho was more flavorful than most other spots I've been to, and the stone bowl definitely keeps it HOT - so if prefer not to have it so hot continuously, it's not necessary. You get actual chicken parts with the bone which can be good or bad, depending on your preference. Comes with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce for the chicken. The grilled pork spring rolls were OK - next time I'd probably opt for the traditional imperial rolls but wanted to stick to something healthy. Come before 10:30/11 on a weekend to avoid the rush!!

Yelp
In this large hall rocking gold and white decor, Golden Delight 2 has one of the best bowls of pho around. Beef Short Ribs Pho: The soup is delivered in a giant hot stone cauldron while the rice noodles arrive separately on a plate. You immediately smell the spices and cinnamon and feel the heat from the dangerously hot bowl. The clear broth contains multitudes of balanced flavor and complexity. The flavor of the beef really shines through. The soup never seems to cool down, but you can control it by throwing the noodles in all at once or over time. The two hulking beef bone ribs and beef meatballs provide a hearty dose of tender protein. If you still need flavor, dunk the meat in the exceptional lemongrass chili sauce. Dining Area: The dining room is shaped like an L, with about 12 tables on each side. Parking: The lot for the Empire Commercial Center is huge. But with many top-tier eateries, it can very packed at times.

Yelp
For such a fancy-looking Vietnamese restaurant, their prices and portions are exceptionally reasonable! I got seated around 8:30pm on a Monday evening, and by then, they had run out of a few menu items. I settled on the curry with pho noodles (because they ran out of baguettes). The dish did not disappoint; the curry was thin but carried a depth of flavor. It came with two chicken drumsticks and a mix of potato, onion, carrot, and fried taro. The portion literally lasted me three meals--so it was well worth it! I'd definitely visit earlier in the day so that I have more options to choose from.

Yelp
Great tasting foods, fast and friendly service. Get there early and prepare for a long waiting list. But it's worth the wait.

Yelp
Got Bun Mam and it's very yummy, only available on the weekend at this location, the fist location has bun mam available weekdays only :) I have had their bbh and it's okay, not the best at this location. Service is good.

Yelp
A busy spot on the weekends! I came on a Sunday and waited around 20 minutes but was able to get a drink nearby and they let us drink that in which was nice. There are so many options here and I've gotten the classics like Pho, BBH and egg rolls which have all been very solid, consistent, and comforting. Can't go wrong with these three. We decided to try some new things this weekend : + Bo Kho with noodles: such large chunks of beef! The meat was tender and the tendon pieces are always my favorite. I've never had noodles with this dish before and I liked it! + Central Vietnamese steamed rice cakes with shrimp sauce: the crispy croutons on top was sooo crispy event with adding the fish sauce on top. Overall, I really liked this dish. The fish sauce was pretty light, but adding some spicy sauce made it better. + Fermented Fish Soup with Vermicelli: the fish filet was very soft (beware of bones). Had a mild sour taste but really good and filling. Leftovers for days but the soups are so easy to warm up and it still be delicious!

Yelp
Best Vietnamese food spot in town. Large portions and delicious flavors. Can't go wrong with my favorite, their Bun Bo Bue, and the runner up Bun Rieu. I cannot stress how much food you actually get for about $15! It's just so good here too! if you're not feeling Vietnamese too much, they have a curry dish as well, which you can choose to have with a baguette or noodles. I'd recommend their baguette. It's airy, crispy, and soft -- super delicious when dipping it with the curry. Sometimes there is a wait, but it is definitely worth it here. When I first discovered this spot about 2 months ago, I had come here everyday for the entire week.

Yelp
Wow, hot stone pho! I had it in Vietnam but was shocked to find out that we have access to hot stone pho here in SoCal! It was delicious and surprisingly exactly like what I had in Vietnam! The Vietnamese pork vermicelli with egg roll was also so freaking delicious. So good, I got a takeout order of egg rolls to share with the fam. The egg roll was still crispy even after the 45min ride home in traffic and it is so meaty and scrumptious. The fish sauce that comes with it is so umami and garlicky and just makes the vermicelli dish *chef's kiss* 12.5/10. Definitely coming back again. I want to try the grilled pork vermicelli next time since they blew me away with the 2 orders I got.

Yelp
There's both parking lot and street parking available. The seating setup was a bit weird as I ended up sharing a table with another solo diner. This spot is great for large parties, and the space itself feels very modern. The floors were a little sticky, but the service was fast, which I appreciated. After finishing your meal, you pay at the cashier. I ordered the hot stone beef short rib pho. The broth was decent, and I'm actually glad the hot stone bowl wasn't too hot. Otherwise, the broth would've been piping hot.

Yelp
I came here because of a yelp event. I really enjoyed the food, but had an interesting experience for sure. I decided to come back because I enjoyed the food and I brought the family this time around. Unfortunately I had the same experience. We sat down and no one came to take our drink order. We were not provided enough menus. We were a party of 5. I feel like I'm not welcomed. Everything that you would think that would be part of your eating out experience we had to ask for. Not once did they come to check in on us. We've visited the Good Alley next door recently and Shin-Sen-Gumi and they are attentive and kind. The older man that might be the manager or owner does not greet you or acknowledge your presence. I'm not sure if I will be coming back.

Yelp
Brightly lit and clean restaurant serving pho, bun and rice dishes. Large parking lot that is very busy, thus you might have to circle a few times to find parking in the evenings. I noticed the overhead lights which we also have in our home dining room - but with black trim - good taste! LOL. Three of us had: - Imperial Rolls (6) which come with all the veggies and lettuce for wrapping. The skin was nice and blistered unlike the Chinese smooth won ton skin wraps thus a nicer texture. Filling was decent and the rolls came out hot. - we also had the Spicy Beef Stew Pho, the Brisket Pho, and the Ox Tail Pho which is basically the beef combo (brisket, meatballs, tendons, raw brisket and a bowl of ox tail (2 medium sized pieces) on the side). The Ox Tail pho comes in a hot pot with noodles and ox tail on the side. Bean sprouts, peppers, mint, limes.. all included. All the flavors were good, the soups clean and not overly oily and the bowls , all one size, are big. Everyone took theirs home. Definitely recommended, especially for their good taste in selecting light fixtures. Service could be a little better though!

Yelp
I was thrilled to hear that they opened a location that is a little closer to me but then I saw that it's at this complex where I dread parking at. Anyhow, the food is similar to their original location but the restaurant is newer and a little nicer. FOOD Good quality and taste. SERVICE Friendly and efficient. PARKING Horrendous. Large shared lot. It's free but it's often packed. Limited street parking.

Yelp
I love Golden Delight 2! My wife and I are big fans of Golden Delight one on Garvey and we're glad they opened a second location closer to us. The plaza is quite busy so parking is difficult during busy hours. The food and service are spectacular so you can expect to wait during peak dining hours. The restaurant is super clean and there is a nice gold on marble theme in the décor. Everything on the menu is delicious! The Com Tam, the Bun, spring rolls, everything! Golden Delight 2 has made our rotation of restaurants to frequently dine and it should be on yours too!

Yelp
Before I write my review, let me preface this by saying I've been to their original location and liked the Pho there very much. I came to this location for lunch today and had the Pho Dac Biet, the broth was flavorful and a bit sweet, the meat tasted good and was tender, the service was fairly fast as the restaurant was quite busy at 12pm. Iced Coffee was standard fare, nothing stood out too much. In regards to pricing, their pricing is fair for the amount of food you are getting. I would recommend this restaurant to family and friends. The inside of the restaurant was maybe a tad bit smaller than the OG location, parking can be tough as this is a plaza is a big destination for food.

Yelp
This location is fairly new and replaced Com Tom that was previously here. We've been to the other Golden Delight location so thought it would be nice to try this one. Restaurant looks nice and clean on the inside. Was pretty crowded so there was a bit of a wait but thankfully it wasn't too long. We ordered the Golden Delight Special Broken Rice which had a lot of variety and was big but great for sharing. Also got the 12pc rice cake with dried shrimp which had good texture and tasted authentic. Also got the fish vermicelli soup which was easily shareable as well. Overall food was solid and portions were great. Had a decent amount of leftovers at the end. It's a big restaurant but seems to attract a big crowd so can definitely get busy during peak meal times.

Yelp
Delicious Vietnamese food. Located in a strip mall on Valley Blvd in Rosemead with plenty of accessible parking. The place is clean and bright. The Vermicelli with pork and egg rolls was really tasty. The pork had really good flavor and the egg roll was nice and crunchy. Very good spring rolls. We will be back.

Yelp
In early February, I went to the other Golden Delight in Rosemead after visiting the first one during a Yelp Elite event the month prior. I wanted to try out the food in this place since I really enjoyed the food at the first Golden Delight. I had the charbroiled pork & egg rolls with vermicelli ($14.50). The meal portion is large and definitely worth the price point. With the vermicelli and pickled vegetables, you get a nice and refreshing mix of flavors. While I enjoyed this dish, I prefer the golden delight pho for its broth. The ambience looks upscale and similar to the restaurant on Garey Ave. One difference that didn't affect my experience was that the other restaurant didn't have a Chinese food menu. I went around 11:30 am on a Saturday, and there was enough seating for us. Parking was actually a little hard to find, though this restaurant shares a big parking lot. It was a busy time at this shopping plaza.

Yelp
I LOVE THE FOOD HERE ! So good ! Although highly recommend you come early, because it was such a line up! People seem to love this place too ! Literally everything I ate I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF ! The beef brisket stew here is one of the best!! Everything was so full of flavor! I love that the pho comes in steaming hot boiling stone pot and you get to place the raw meat in in yourself with the veggies and noodles last :) The chicken curry I get with rice , has some blood pieces inside which was interesting and delicious. THE DRIED vermicelli noodles was on point too. The service is amazing here, when I asked for extra fish saw the server came back super quick. I JUST LOVE how bright, and clean this place is. Love the gold and white aesthetics. 10/10 PARKING : FREE PARKING IN GIANT PARKING LOT Follow me for more foodie adventures Xoxo -LIVING WITH LUCI

Yelp
I am a fan of Golden Delight #1 for their delicious hot stone pho. Finally had a chance to try this new location! Their menus are actually different besides of their signature hot stone pho. I actually like this location's menu options a lot more! I was craving Vietnamese curry and they have it here! I ordered their curry chicken with vermicelli and a side order of French bread. The chicken tastes very flavorful and the curry is not too sweet or watery. The French bread has a very good texture! I give this dish a 5 star! We also ordered Chicken and organs pho. This was a nice comforting dish. Broth is light and the chicken meat is tender, but a bit too soft. this dish would be a 4 star. Then we ordered Bun Bo hue. This is one of our favorites from both locations and quality is great. A huge bowl and with lots of nice ingredients! Very generous portions based on the price. This dish would be a 5 star! Lastly, we tried their broken rice. Honestly we couldn't even start this dish due to the huge portions of each dish. But I did tasted a little bit and it's delicious! But I think usually it comes with more broken rice. The presentation of this dish is a little less appealing compared to the other dishes. I would still give it a 4 star though. Their service is good overall. Ambiance is clean and comfortable. But I think this location looks more casual compared to the first location. Overall I had a very good experience and loved all the food! I even ordered an extra French bread to go! It's $1.75 each. I dig the texture of this bread!

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 I wanted to explore a new cơm tấm restaurant in SGV and decided to try this place out. It's located in a shared compound parking lot with other businesses, and parking was easy. First impression, wow. They definitely invested in the decor; everything has a gold toned, upscale vibe. I ordered the egg rolls and the 10 item cơm tấm plate. The presentation was beautiful, and the food was delicious. However, the dipping sauce was a bit too intense for me, very sweet and salty at the same time. I've never had that experience at other cơm tấm spots. Overall, this is a well decorated restaurant with fair pricing and good service. Worth a try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Gold and marble everywhere. I felt like stepping inside the Trump Tower Lol. Fortunately, dining here won't cost you a fortune, as most items are in the $11-$16 range. Golden Delight Pho - a super value bowl of beefy goodness (beef tendon, tripe, brisket, ball, etc.) for only $15. It's so much food I could only finish half. Pork spring roll - three pcs for $11, very tasty specially with the sweet orangey dip sauce. Super friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

Yelp
So glad this second location is opened! This is one of our frequent restaurants for Vietnamese food. There is plenty of seating but don't come at prime time (6:30-8pm) you will end up waiting for a seat. Servers are quick and friendly. The environment is clean and bright. There is a wide selection of food choices and they're all delicious My go-to is the Bun Bo Hue! The soup is yummy and the portion is generous. All the food portion is generous, actually! The egg rolls in the bun was fried perfectly This restaurant is your one stop shop for Vietnamese food especially if you want to try different dishes.

Yelp
I came to Golden Delight #2 on a Friday evening around 6:15 PM and was seated right away. There were a few empty tables, but by 6:45 PM a wait had started to form. The interior is bright, clean, and stylish with a gold color theme that gives it a richer feel than your typical Vietnamese spot. Everything from the floors to the tables to the menus looked clean, and the staff was attentive and professional the entire time. The menu is pretty extensive, covering dishes from North, Central, and South Vietnam. Prices are a bit higher (mostly $14-18), but they feel fair for the quality and the nice setting. I ordered the Bún Riêu (shrimp, tomato, and egg vermicelli soup), and it was one of the better versions I've had. The bowl was huge and came with a side of hot sauce and fish sauce so you can season to your liking. The broth was super clean -- not greasy or heavy -- and packed with generous toppings: pork blood, spare ribs, meatballs, ground meat, meatloaf, tomatoes, and tofu. Everything was flavorful, and the amount of meat was way more than most other places offer. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was really nice. I'm already eyeing the Bún Bò Huế and the 10-item Cơm Tấm for my next visit. Highly recommend

Yelp
The soup isn't hot, soup is cold. They make you think soup is hot because they put bowl in hot water. 2* cause restaurant is clean. Not coming back.

Yelp
Newer Vietnamese restaurant located on Valley and in the same plaza as Good Alley and Shin Sen Gumi. It is pretty packed with alot of people waiting so we decided to try. Wait list is written down and they shout out old school way. Decor seems to be a gold and white theme but upkeep isn't to par so the dirtiness really stands out. Food is mediocre. Wait for the food is kind of long. I waited about 20mins for my pho and it didn't even come until after other tables who sat down AFTER me got their food first. Pros: -their service is very friendly and nice. -clean restroom -food is decent for the pricing but not the best -utensils were nice -takeout containers were good quality Cons: -shared parking lot plaza is free but super busy from other businesses too -super long wait time for food. My husband's food came at least 15mins before mine. They could work on their timing. His fried egg to go with his broke rice also came like 15 mins after his dish so that was disheartening. They should have came together if it were meant to be eaten together.
