Golden Dragon

Visited this restaurant recently on our trip to Mumbai. I visited after a very long time and was not disappointed! The food is delicious; the best Chinese food in Mumbai by far! The ambience is wonderful and the service, superb! They went out of their way to make our special occasion, really special. Highly recommended.

A lovely relaxed lunch at the Golden Dragon ! The service team lead by Rachit was excellent ! Personal attention to detail and great service ! Food quality and taste was superlative. Though we were only 4 of us dining, we ended up ordering generously and actually polished off everything ! Again, I must say that the entire experience gets enhanced a few notches with great service !

We ordered asparagus and corn dumplings which were phenomenal! You can see the chef making them right in front of you, like a magician! The spring rolls were crispy, crunchy, had just the right amount of filling and the sweet chilli sauce was something I could eat a bucket of! The vegetarian fried rice with a non spicy black pepper sauce was the cherry on top :)

Great food, we ordered edamame truffle dumplings, Chung fa, crispy lamb which was sweet and you can give it a miss. Water chestnut dumpling which was the hero. Chicken black pepper which was good, burnt garlic fried rice and a chicken in black bean sauce. Overall good quality. Pricy yup but great taste. I paid 10k.

Delicious food, exquisite service, the cutest thing was I saw a kitten mewing well fed right outside the entrance of Taj Mahal and no one chased it off, like any other hotel would. It was such a pleasant sight. Courtesy the Tata love for animals. Great experience.

Sorry to say but this is one of the worst Chinese food experiences I've had, and I've eaten in plenty of Chinese restaurants. I thought that being in such a nice hotel, it's almost a shoe-in that it will be a nice restaurant, maybe even great. Oh boy, was I wrong. First clue that things will not go right were the noodles, that looked like thin spaghetti, nothing to do with asian noodles, and were quite bland. Then we ordered the sweet and sour pork and black pepper chicken, both smothered in sauce. I was so dissapointed in the food I had to say something and to the credit of the staff and the chef, he came to explain their meals are adjusted to the local market. So he made us the sweet and sour pork with less sauce. But this time a little spicy. :( anyway, not authentic at all and far, far too expensive for what it is. Sorry!!

This was a once in a lifetime experience and even though I had my fair share of experiences in 5 star hotels and didn't like the food but this place didn't disappoint .. We ordered dry red chilli chicken starter and then main course was followed by burnt garlic fried rice and kungpao chicken.. All the items were delicious and even their hospitality was top notch.. Everyone who wishes to dine in Taj once can definitely try out this place

Fantastic authentic Chinese Cuisine restaurent,.I am amazed by there consistency in Balance taste on each and every Dish.What a dimsum ,Superb Soup ,Fabulous starter.I become fan .I'll definitely visit there again .And a view ,Its Taj yaar .One thing missing staff of there , were in hurry to close down restaurent in time 😀😀😀😀.They were repeating one line again and again for Last order Last order .Plz don't do that with any one coz Every come there for enjoying Taj Hospitality with food there .And one get aware of that things in single time saying also.BTW taste that was superb.
