Golden Monkey Tiki Lounge

3 stars due to value. Drinks are great, but about 60-70% ice. At $18-20, feel like it shouldn't be mostly ice. Seriously, you could drink the entire drink and the ice was still at the top. Picture is of a fully finished drink. Servers were great though. Cannot comment on the food though.

We had a Freaki Tiki, a Firedancer, a One Way Ticket, and an Altitude Adjustment. They were all great. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun, and the service was good. The only thing is that our table asked for water and the server brought us bottled water instead of just tap water, which seemed like upcharging for upcharging's sake.

The One Way Ticket and Fire Dancer cocktails are the real stars of the menu, fusing traditional Tiki bar classics with innovative twists, utilizing high-quality spirits and carefully selected ingredients. The food options are also a delightful surprise, with the coconut shrimp and egg rolls served on charming shark plates being a crowd favorite. Despite some reviews suggesting it may be a better hangout spot, the lounge's personalized and attentive service made our experience grand. Though the lounge may have been less crowded, the skilled mixologists crafted exceptional drinks, offering a perfect balance of flavors. In conclusion, my experience at the Golden Monkey Tiki Lounge was terrific. The ambiance, drinks, and unexpected culinary delights made for a memorable visit. I wholeheartedly give this establishment a well-deserved five-star rating and encourage others to experience the tropical allure of this sophisticated and enchanting Tiki lounge at Resort World.

Didn't try the food but got a drink (feelin' coconutty). It was pretty good. The server was pleasant and correctly attentive (not pushy or absent for an extended period). The ambiance was nice: dimly lit, which improved overall social engagements. Overall, it's not a bad place to visit and I'd go again.

Golden Monkey has an upscale contemporary tiki vibe! Go here if you like good strong drinks.

I got drawn in by the vibe. Stayed by the mermaid theme. Feels like I’m under the sea with the Little Mermaid swimming and going deeper and deeper. Golden Monkeys hanging from cages reaching down helping eachother. Pine tree beautifully lit green forest and under water theme. Luxury seating and couches with his place is really elevate with a beautiful looking ceiling. Jessica greeted me at the host stand and also served me with stellar service as she also checked in with the many guest sat in about 8 parties. Props to her for bouncing to all the guest! She deserves a raise and more! Highly recommend this spot! The drinks were tasty my fave was the ube coconut flavor drink ! Can’t wait to come back and try the others!

I was not very impressed, only one bartender. And not service oriented. Took 30 minutes for a drink.... It's sad that this place has so much potential 😪 😞 the decor is top notch.

I would give this place zero stars. I was here today at 6:00 pm my experience at first started out wonderful with a man named Mark. He made me the drink that is pictured. I ordered two drinks from Mark, and paid. Mark, and I had a wonderful conversation I complimented him on his great drink making skills. After I paid for my second drink Mark then goes on break. I had already paid so I finished my 2nd drink, and proceeded to leave. At which point I am followed out of the lounge by a rude server who asks if I’ve paid, and accuses me of not paying. He leads me back to the bar in pure embarrassment in front of all the customers sitting at the bar. He had a woman server check my tab. I let him know I had paid, and he should look at my tab. I do not understand why they didn’t do that to begin with. Why there was not better communication between servers, and why they did not do more to help the situation. Furthermore when Mark left the server that chased me out, never introduced himself and let me know that he would be taking over or serving me. I was told they had no cards to give me to contact management, and they took my number to receive a call. Resort World as a whole is racist. It’s a well known fact, but I thought if I was nice, paid, and tipped I could possibly be treated as an equal. Unfortunately this was not the case. Shame on you. It’s no secret Resort World is losing money. Happy to hear it.
