"Inside Resorts World's Golden Monkey Tiki Lounge I found a polished, island-inspired lounge full of fish-faced mugs, cocktail umbrellas, floral leis, surfboards decked in leis, bamboo accents and tiled shelving stacked with tiki mugs; the lounge chairs are upholstered in palm-frond and butterfly patterns and the tables are covered in shiny pineapples and bowls of seashells. The bar stocks about 50 types of rum and a 20-drink menu that includes staples like mai tais, jungle birds and rum runners as well as signature cocktails such as the Feelin’ Coconutty (rum with a purple ube-coconut syrup), the One Way Ticket (rum, passionfruit liqueur and pineapple, set on fire) and the Fire Dancer (spicy mango syrup served in a smiling green tiki mug). Drinks run about $16 each and many can be prepared punch-bowl style for up to four people for roughly $50. The space was rethemed from what used to be the Genting Palace Lounge, is accessible from the Hilton lobby, and aims for a warm, welcoming tropical oasis vibe with vacation-inspired music from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.; the bar’s name comes from a golden monkey statue that’s sat on the bar since the venue opened in 2021." - Janna Karel
