Hidden Gem 💎 I cannot say enough good things. The bartenders A++ and know their stuff (thanks Landon), the owner is personable (Hi Sam) introduced himself (and to my mom on a separate occasion he probably doesn’t even know) the drinks are sooo tasty and made with fresh juice + your choice of alcohol. So many amazing combinations to try so it makes coming back so exciting. The atmosphere, unmatched! They open at Golden Hour most days and it’s just so fitting. At night it just gets better. There’s an outdoor patio so summers will be great. Unassuming place from the outside and gorgeous on the inside. Highly highly recommend!

I’m not much of a 5/5 reviewer bc there’s always a room for improvement, right? I guess, we all have to make a few exceptions occasionally. I visited them on a Super Bowl Sunday at 4pm when we were the only people there, so we got to interact with the staff members and get their recommendations on what food items to try etc. They told us that it’s pretty popping on Thursday nights with DJ and all. I can’t wait to go there again. I loved the ambiance of the place, the decor is chic and the food is delicious. I’ve always been telling my friends that more bars/cocktail lounges need to serve finger-sized food/bites so we can keep munching on it and I think finally someone listened and made sure their food is as good as their cocktails if not better. A Special shout-out to Garett who was attending our table. We all left at different times to go to various superbowl parties and he accommodated everyone tabbing out at different times. There’s a lot of parking in that area that’s shared by a few businesses in the complex and we easily found parking. We went to Flora+Fauna for brunch and stumbled upon this place to extend our party and hang out more and were all very thrilled to have found this place and left happy.

Golden Pony is such an amazing place. The service is always incredible. Simple, clean, elevated menu selection -- I'm obsessed with their chicken tenders! Liz & Sam are just incredible people all-around. The decor is just gorgeous -- and they always have an awesome playlist going. Fantastic cocktails, beautiful people, amazing food. They've built such a fantastic, open, welcoming space. If you haven't gone, go!

One of the many new places in our neighborhood right now. Went to try the patio. I will be honest they need to up their patio game. It’s large but only has three not particularly comfortable tables. However, the inside space is very cool. I loved the colors/ look. Everybody was very welcoming. We had a fun friendly server & the drinks were tasty and attractive. Someone had mentioned the cheese toasts in another review & they are a gooey addictive treat. Hopping to come back when they have had time to expand the outside.

WOW! What a phenomenonal place! As someone that only drinks socially but used to drink a lot, I can say that these cocktails are next level. To be honest though, I'd come back here just for the food. Bar food is by far the wrong descriptive for this quality of food. Everything homemade, right down to the ranch dressing. The flavor profiles of everything will have you questioning your own food preferences. I normally don't like ranch, the ranch is phenomenonal. I don't like honey on my chicken, but the hot honey they lightly drizzle over the top of just enough to throw enough heat at you, sweet enough to get a hint of honey. But let me tell you about these fries! As a professional French fry connoisseur, I've had them all from the best to the worst and these are by far the BEST fries you'll ever find. Breaded in a buttermilk batter, these have an extra crispy crunch with a nice tender potato underneath. Salted perfectly, seasoned perfectly, fried perfectly, they just don't get better than these. It's very fitting that they are their own dish to order because you won't want to eat anything else after eating these. Dipped in their homemade ranch, and you've got yourself one fine meal. They're even good cold!!! Do you know how good a fry has to be to still be good cold? Of course you don't, you've never had the fries from The Golden Pony. Just go. Leave your house right now and go. I don't care if it's 10 am and you're just looking for a place to hang out tonight, leave work and GO.

This place was absolutely dreamy. All the food and drinks we ordered for the table were amazing. While it did take a little longer to get a friend’s drink the waitress immediately made it right by giving the table a round of shots to make up for the wait. I highly recommend this place for a date night, as it has perfect mood lighting. Would definitely come back!

Never been to this spot or heard about it; ,however, I was invited to an event that was being held here. Loved the location and the fact that parking is free and there's plenty of it. The space is great, loved the indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were really nice and the event was fun.

The atmosphere was laid back and posh. I really enjoyed the pineapple foam on our drink, and the hint of sage. The feta dip was much too salty though, especially paired with the salted pita chips. My friend tried the tenders and liked it better. They have ample outdoor space, which would be nice in the summer. Plenty of parking out front. The bartenders were nice, but forgot to put in one of our food orders on an open tab. Nevertheless the food came out fairly quickly, and they were still serving food late (11pm).

Such a nice vibe! Live DJ, cute outdoor seating area, and super nice staff. I ordered the Vegan Caesar Salad and added crispy chicken and it was absolutely amazing. I'm lactose intolerant but a meat eater, so this was the best of both worlds. The dressing was a more lemon/citrus take on the typical Caesar dressing, but I found it super refreshing. Hard to get a good salad after midnight. But I love that their kitchen was open late. They also have customizable Agua Frescas that are yummy!

It's such a cute bar! The bartenders and servers are always kind and attentive. I got the vegan caesar and added crispy chicken. It was delicious. There was a dj and it is a great late night spot to chill and get drinks and bites. I'll definitely be back.

The ambiance here looks ultra high-end. It looks like a place in LA you'd see movie stars at. To the point where I seriously considered if we were even allowed to be here! Luckily, the rest of the place was not so fancy and stuffy! The bartender was done-to-earth and full of Southern hospitality. The drink menu was creative and there were lots of local beers available. The food is mainly new-school takes on old-school comfort food, it's reasonably priced and delicious. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Nashville! nice bartender

Great vibes and delicious food and drinks. Their outdoor seating area was so cozy. The cheese bread (add hot chicken) not a menu item, but our wonderful server recommended and did not disappoint. Will definitely be back again if we're in the area!

While I didn't try any of the drinks, the place has a fabulous atmosphere. My friend was easily able to accommodate a large party there. The staff let us keep birthday cakes in the back and were so helpful through the process! I plan to be back and try to food and drinks!

I really wish I could write a good review, I do. We live one minute away, but we have not had a good experience yet and it's been 4 or 5 trips now? First time the bar was completely empty and there were 4 of us. Bartender offered us a table as we were going to order food too. The owner came over and made us get up and move to these tiny tables up front because the big tables were only for parties of 6 and up. No one else in the restaurant. Our food came and didn't even fit on the tiny side tables. We were holding food in our laps. It was insane. I wanted to host my baby shower here (trying really hard to support local here!!) and got jerked around for months. It was so unprofessional. There was no plan and eventually they just told me - actually I think we're just going to cancel brunch service for a couple months, never mind. We can't help you. We ended up going to Common Ground and it was night and day. Wildly different experience. We've also had our food orders forgotten twice, been forgotten by the bartender three times, and finally when a friend told me she tried to come to happy hour with her baby and they refused her and her husband service I was just done. They wanted to sit on the patio with a cocktail and the baby was a dealbreaker. Not a problem anywhere else in the neighborhood as far as I know. Oh well.

Golden Pony is cute from the moment you pull up! They have a spacious, shared parking lot with the cocktail bar off to one side. The interior is beautiful with huge booths and some of the most comfortable barstools in Nashville! I had an espresso martini that was fantastic and a glass of their Spanish red wine. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great with excellent recommendations. We had the hot honey toast (so good!!!), whipped feta and chicken. The whipped feta wasn't great but the others made up for it. Our bartender recommended cutting a piece of chicken and putting it in the hot honey toast and wow! It was delicious! I'll definitely be back, especially in the summer. Their outdoor areas look really nice.

Always heard great things about Golden Pony. My first visit was on my birthday (Christmas Eve) and we had a blast. They played the whole Renaissance album just for us lol Went recently on a Wednesday night for the R&B night and loved the ambiance again. The team was so friendly and attentive and the drinks were just right. Love that they also have food options too. Can't wait to catch Golden Hour with my group of friends!

I was so impressed by this place. I loved the laid back atmosphere, the retro design of the interior and the wonderful service -- every staff member I interacted with, including one of the owners, was so kind and welcoming. Best of all, the espresso martini was divine -- one of the best I've had in Nashville. In addition to the array of enticing cocktails on the menu, the food items sounded delicious as well. Needless to say, I will be back to explore more of the menu.

I stopped by after seeing this place was finally open. The vibe is IMMACULATE. There was a DJ and an open spot at the bar calling my name. I was promptly greeted by Rachel, the gorgeous bartender who quickly took my food and drink order. Service was so quick, even considering it was opening night and they were pretty busy. The caviar and chips/dip combo was so RICH and amazing paired with a briny martini. I tried breaded fries too and those would be amazing enjoyed on the patio with a fruity drink. What can I say, this place is gorgeous and a very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

I love Golden Pony. It's brand new and LGBQT+ and BIPOC owned. My review is based on the cocktails I have had, space, and service. I am hoping to have the food on my next visit. I love the ambience and there is parking which is a plus. You walk in and the lobby is much larger than expected. You'll be IDed and there is a mix of seating options. You can be in an oversized horse shaped booth with your crew or sit at the bar to mingle with the mixologists. The patio will be in the future and I have only gone at night but there's seating outside in the front and side too. The agua frescas ($12) are where it's at. I've had the strawberry watermelon with gin as well asn the cucumber cantelope with gin. Both are so fresh and delicious. They squeeze the fruit right there onsite. My friend ordered the Spritz and loved it as well. I am excited that this is my place for fresh agua frescas. Their GP cocktails ($13) include: Mule Espresso Martini Southside Paloma Margarita *Seasonal Daiquiri Old Fashioned Spritz *The seasonal daquiri when I went was blackberry. Y'all. SO FREAKING DELISH. I wanted to savor every single sip slowly and be fully present. Don't you love those drinks? For those who love beer, there have Montucky or Kaleidiscope Sour ($5), Superior ($6), Blackberry Farms IPA or Gotta Get Up Stout ($7), Souther Crisp Pils ($8), or Puffel Hazy IPA ($11) You can also get wine for $11. Brut from Spain. Sauv Blanc from NZ, Rose from France, or Red from Chile. They have have sodas for those who don't drink alcohol. Space is gorgeous. I've never felt crowded and the service was wonderful. They want to make sure you're served and then enjoy your company. The food menu looks promising. They have a party mix that has pretzels, cheetos, wasabi peas, and crunchy noodles ($5). They have a spring whipped feta ($11). Will I like theirs more than Butcher and Bee? Time will tell. I want to try the seasonal pizza boat ($14) which my friends explained to me by showing me a tik tok. It's apparently the latest trend. I'll be back soon so I can update it with my food review. I definitely recommend coming to check it out.

At this establishment, they are not people of their word. I scheduled to have a birthday party in the private room at Golden Pony WEEKS before my birthday, which is at the end of November. They said that everything was fine and that they would help me set things up for my birthday. At the last minute, one of the owners lied and said that the other owner and him miscommunicated about the booking. They wanted to just put me and all of my guests somewhere else, stating that the original room I viewed was already booked. This couldn't be farther from the truth. They told me countless times via email that they didn't have anyone booked for that room on the date. Now I have to find another location even after over 30+ invitations have gone out and a couple of people are flying in to come to the party. They never have to worry about me stepping foot in Golden Pony again.

The Golden Pony is a true must visit gem of Nashville! Ive traveled extensively and this bar is so unique! From the fabulous interior vibe to the relaxed outdoor area to the quality cocktails this is a bar is a must experience! The beautiful owner Liz even took the time to introduce herself and made this out of town patron feel so welcome. There are many choices to enjoy a libation in the area but you wont find a night quite like the one you'll have at The Golden Pony!

Went in for the first time last night. The hostess was super friendly and informed us the back room was for a private party but all other areas had "open" seating. Bar was full. Excited to see they had a back patio BUT no chairs or tables to enjoy the back patio. No mood lighting either - hard missed opportunity here! Walked back inside to find an open table however in the main area. Tried to sit down but we were immediately told it was reserved. BUT we were told everything was open seating. Also if you're overweight or have any form of gut - you're not fitting into the oversized booth table. While aesthetically pleasing they are not practical and only allow a few groups to sit. So a table that could sit 6-8 are being used by 2. Doesn't make sense. Smaller tables would allow more patrons to sit and enjoy this beautiful space. Bartender and bar back were nice! This was a "one and done" for us. Best of luck GP.

What a beautiful place!!! The ambiance is perfect!! The drinks are beyond delicious and there's such attention to detail in everything you see and drink.. I didn't get any food while I was here but I'll definitely be back to try!! The staff is super friendly and so accommodating.. So happy to have more LGBTQ+ owned establishments in the world and definitely hope this place is on everyone's list to visit to drink and have a good time in a safe place for all !!

It's PERFECT!!! Food, Ambiance and Superb Service! My boyfriend and I just moved to Nashville and we had the pleasure of meeting Sam, Rachel and Ro. Engaging conversations with each and everyone of the staff and even other guests! Not only was the conversation, food and ESPRESSO MARTINI (shoutout to Rachel ) great! The menu was simple, patio wats cute and it felt homey. It even ties in a bit of Nashville History which I admired. Check this place out you won't be disappointed

Had such a disappointing experience here tonight. We showed up on a Friday to a not so crowded bar. We got our 2 drinks and then the bartender never came back to check on us. Over 45 mins later we order another drink from someone else working the bar. We wait 20 mins to get our second drink and the guy we ordered from came back once to double check our order and then 10 mins later our original bartender came back to triple check our order. I watched her make three other peoples drinks before even starting ours. She came back to apologize for the rush of drinks that came in (even though there weren't that many people there to begin with). When we got our check, we were overcharged for our drinks. We ordered 4 drinks between the 2 of us but were charged for 6. We had to bring the manager in to get him to change the amount. In my opinion the drinks that we waited over 20 minutes on should've been comped. They both saw us waiting, they knew how long we waited, apologized for how long we waited, and STILL overcharged us! Anyway, terrible experience. The vibes were great, the music was great, but it sucks that we had such bad service (and had to literally talk to a manager about our check). We spent an hour and a half too long in this place. If you see this review you better double check the receipt before you pay!

Went to the night market n bought some delicious laotian dessert. Sticky rice with local diced peaches in a coconut sauce Cute trendy bar with out door seating.

Definitely a place you don't typically see on the east side of town. Even though it feels like a trendy spot, it doesn't feel pretentious. The staff is friendly, it's great people watching, it's like a secluded island from other places and the drinks are tasty. It's not a knock on them as they need to stay in business but everything is so expensive. You don't want to feel like a cheapskate when you go out but when you see the prices of things, you tend to get selective. This will be a fun spot to bring out of towners or a fun night out but it's not yet a space you can call as your go-to. Decor feels mid-century and the music is pretty good. What's fun is the light during dusk as it sneaks through the venue. The bar is a cool area but seating is limited during happy hour so if your group wants to sit, you have to vulture a bit until they add more seating.

Amazing margarita. Great vibe. We were there early with a group of 6 (around 7pm). Oversized booths mean you'll sit at the bar if you only have 2-3 people. The fries were not good, which was disappointing because the picture looked awesome. Sloppy Joe and whipped feta were good! Very loud live music started around 9pm which was fun but made it hard to talk to friends. I lost my voice and we left after 30 minutes of that.

My husband and I came to Golden Pony for Teacher's Pet Trivia and Game Night, but we'll be back! We arrived early, driving here after work and grabbing dinner. We sipped and grazed through the menu, enjoying the patio and the sweet pup whose owner sat nearby. The atmosphere was inviting inside and out, and the service was not only quick and friendly, but the recommendations were thoughtful and on point. We started with the spring whipped feta, accompanied by a daiquiri (off-menu) and Gotta Get Up stout. The whipped feta is accompanied by a rough chopped crunchy slaw/salad with a cashew-based dressing that offered different textures as well as delicious flavors. Something spicy was sprinkled on top of the feta, giving amazing cool/hot contrast. But the still-hot freshly made pita chips were the pièce de résistance! Next, we ordered the seasonal pizza boat. To be honest, my expectations weren't very high, but since it was sourdough with melty mozz and prosciutto, (among other things), I was willing to try it. Y'all. It was fabulous. It was the star of the night. My apple pear aqua fresca with bubbly arrived during this, and was a nice clean accompaniment. We finished up with a Caesar salad with a cashew-based vegan dressing that was surprisingly tasty, especially with the crispy-creamy contrast of the fried avocado. This was followed by the seasonal daiquiri, well-balanced and made with blackberry syrup instead of simple. I'm a sucker for a pretty drink in a coupe glass, but hubs agreed that it was something special. Trivia night was topped off by the tastiest espresso martini I've ever had! These are too often overly-sweet milkshake concoctions, but the espresso was forward, emphasized by a bit of rum. While the trivia night is what brought us (and we loved it!), we will be back for the restaurant itself!

This place is so sick. Really good vibes, drinks are fun and the service is outstanding! We had an awesome bartender that made the experience even better. The potato chips and caviar is also a must try!

this is a new found place for me and wow does it not disappoint. i have gone 3 times on a Saturday night now and all 3 of those have never once been crazy busy. the service has always been spot on, music is always great, the decor is super adorable and comfortable in this bar! Just trust me and try the chicken tender's their delicious!!! Michael our bartender has always been so great to us. definitely recommend!

Bar staff was amazing (shout out to Seth for amazing drinks and company). So far a hidden gem in East Nashville. The word isn't out yet. But we felt it had a local feel but also amazing ambiance, drinks, and staff.

Golden Pony has a killer menu and immaculate vibes! So many gorgeous, delicious drinks to choose from and you can't go wrong with anything on their food menu. Prices are moderate so have no fear there. Lots of parking in their lot but the place itself can fill up quick so keep that in mind for the time you stop in. Service has always been great too!

Got the cucumber cantaloupe Fresca and then an aperol spritz. Also got the chips, dip, and caviar. All was great, omg. BUT best thing about golden pony was the service. Roe took really great care of us. Golden pony will be a part of the regular rotation from now on :)

Don't wait run to get here! The ambiance is super cute and the music is a vibe. The esthetics were on point and is giving a different vibe for the nashville area. The cocktails were flavorful and the liquor wasn't too strong. It's a cute place to come with friends. The parking is plenty and free.

Everybody was super nice and the food was much better than I expected! Very delicious snacks and my old fashioned was different than the typical. Really good.

Okay, I've got a few things to say here because this is easily my new favorite bar. 1. Best bar food I've ever had. That pizza is something I expect to pay top dollar for at a fancy restaurant. The fries are the best fries I've ever had. I have no clue how they make them and would rather not ruin the magic for myself anyways. The grilled cheese is ridiculous. Who would have thought to put spicy honey on that? Just... take my soul. I don't need it anymore. 2. The atmosphere. I saw pictures online but they didn't do any justice. It somehow feels modern with a retro kinda vibe. The lighting is perfect. They didn't overdo or underdo the color scheme either. My eyes. They're tickled. 3. Old fashions are my favorite cocktail. Their take on it is something else. It's got a citrus Smokey vibe and I'm here for it. I tried several other drinks and my tongue wanted more. I'm tellin y'all right now, this is gonna be that new spot to go to. If Golden Pony were a hill, I'd be happy to die on it. 4. The staff was very kind. For such a new place, you'd think they'd been working together for years. They all seemed happy to be there and that's just not something you see at most places. 5. Lastly that Walter guy, despite his mustache, doesn't have a clue. Not that sexuality should matter in the first place, but the owners are absolutely gay, and absolutely not the same owners of flamingo. Upon entry I was greeted like I was family or something. Unbelievable warm kindness. I could feel their love in my soul. In conclusion, don't ask me if I have extra time or money because it's all going to Golden Pony from now on.

Great vibe, great setting and wonderful bartenders and staff. Prices are normal, food is great, and despite some old mustachioed reviews this place is a solid hang for any night. It's hip, inclusive and just what we need here in town.

Spent sisters birthday here and the staff were incredibly welcoming and the owners made sure to come and introduce themselves to our table. We ordered almost every drink on the menu and a few food items. They were all delicious. They have something Called a family shot, that has 6 shots for only 20.00, but because my family is so big, we needed one more. The bartender was able to make the extra shot at no additional cost to us and my sister got a birthday shooter on the house. This bar may not be in my neighborhood but it's definitely my new neighborhood bar. Can't wait to go back! 5 Stars

One of the best bars that I've ever been to. The vibes and atmosphere is aesthetic to have a chill evening or night with the perfect cocktail. I had the best bartender "Theodore" I will never be let down coming here getting drinks and meeting new people!

Amazing place! The cocktails are sooo good and so is their food. I wish they had tables available for small parties but I understand why they're reserved for larger groups. Tons of parking available. The staff were also so kind and attentive-- not checking on you so often but just enough to where you can order a second drink without waiting too long. Definitely recommend hitting this place up during "golden hour" aka happy hour! Definitely will be back!

I really enjoyed this new cocktail spot in East Nash! I wasn't a huge fan of their refresher drinks but the place is beautiful and I will come here regularly for drinks. We also got their feta dip and cheese toast and both were exceptional! I can't wait to come back

I attended a Sunday brunch here last weekend. the food was amazing! also loved the Bloody Mary! inventive delicious salad and fresh brunch delicacies. felt so healthy and fresh! will definitely return on my next trip to Nashville!

The Golden Pony is such a vibe. My partner and I decided to check it out and we will be definitely be back.
