The Best Underrated, Hidden Gem Restaurants in Portland | Eater Portland

"This Lao and Cambodian cart on Southeast Woodstock is a gem for colorful, flavorful plates of prahok ktiss, crispy rice salad, and Laotian beef jerky. Orders should involve some preparation of the restaurant’s sticky fried wings, as well as things like salt-and-pepper crab and crisp pork belly, if available." - Eater Staff

Google
Love going here! If you are looking for a really good Lao/Cambodian food, then this food truck is a must try!!!! They never fail to dissapoint me since day 1 of finding this food truck! This is my fave to order. Blazing squid/salt and pepper 🦑 Love love this meal. The soft shell crab is also really good,(same flavor as the squid) but they don’t have it all the time.

Google
Maybe I’m ordering the wrong items bc I truly want to like this place but it’s been meh! Chicken wings and fried calamari were a bit dry. Coconut cream linguine lacked a bit flavor.

Google
It was tiktok viral place for visiting Portland so I had to give it a try! I was craving for their Khao Piak Sen and so excited but they were out of it🥹 Steak & rice 5/10 The steak in the pictures were medium rare but i got well done, so maybe if u want ask for medium rare! Honey walnut shrimp was 10/10 It was so creamy but crispy at the same time! The roll was 8/10 I wish it was more crispy but it was huge

Google
Golden Triangle was a great find! The owners were incredibly nice and the food was very fresh. We ordered the Sunday Special which was Pepper Salted Soft Shell Crab. At first we were taken aback by the price, $45, but we really wanted to try it so we dove in. When we got the order we realized why it was a higher price. It was literally a catering container worth of delicious fried soft shell crab that could probably feed 3 or 4 people! Ok, so that actually was a great price for how much you get! And let me tell you, the crab was incredible. Perfectly crispy, incredibly fresh, and it was slightly sweet which meshed really well with the salt and pepper flavoring along with the already sweet soft shell crab. We also ordered the Honey Walnut Shrimp. It was equally as delicious. The shrimp were huge! The batter was really light and crispy and the honey sauce was absolute perfection. The ONLY thing that was missed was that there were no walnuts in the Honey Walnut Shrimp. So that is why I gave it a four and would have given a 4.5 if it was an option! All said and done, we will definitely be going back. This food cart is definitely a must try if you are in the area! I can’t wait to try more of the menu!

Google
Amazing food! Truly unique fusion of delicious flavors. The owners are the nicest people too. I go about every other week and they are always super friendly and make my food extra spicy cause they remember how I like it. The Nam Khao is a must try. Best food cart in town I’m obsessed.

Google
This place was fantastic. Simply delicious, wonderful service and deserves recognition. The wife and husband are so kind and always have a smile on their face. The coconut chicken pasta dish was out of this world, creamy and simply delicious. Wings were perfectly crisp and well portioned. Overall, give this wonderful food cart a try. 11/10 🤍 Weekends are very busy, please be patient with the couple, weekdays are better for a nice quick easy lunch/dinner. 💕

Google
First time trying here, saw this place all on Instagram. The soft shell crab is amazing The sweet wings We're so good and my son and I tried the coconut shrimp laguini, we got the shrimp fried, we most definitely will be back.

Google
The food here is bonkers. Such good flavor and doesn't take too long. The food cart pod is a good vibe, a nice inside with TVs and a bar. Service was good.

Yelp
Thank you Chef!! Blazing squid was amazing! Sought you out on my trip and it was so worth it! Love the cozy space in the Heist to eat as well. Well done on the food - fresh, flavorful, and filling!

Yelp
This place is just as good as everyone says it is. I finally got to stop by and try the honey walnut shrimp with rice and broccoli and the portion was perfect - lots of big delicious shrimp - the sauce was delicious and the broccoli and rice were steamed perfectly as well. It was such a delicious complete meal. The girl at the register was so nice and attentive. And the cart is clean. And the heist is cozy in general and well maintained. I can't wait to come back and try the spaghetti and the egg rolls andddddd the squid.

Yelp
Golden is right. Give them a gold. Just do it. This place is incredible. They don't miss. They got some solid recognition that is well Deserved. The coconut cream fettuccine was good but I need a little more cream to be happy. The snow crab was outrageous (not cheap), but man there aren't many things that taste better than that. The beef jerky was high level and I'm going to assume a certain type of healthy option? The sauce they serve stuff with is really spicy so be careful. The Thai tea was super sweet (per my liking). Excellent menu all well executed. (4.8 Stars)
google avatar

Yelp
I'm obsessed with their larb (not pictured). It's spicy, tangy, salty and aromatic from the herbs, and I love the toasted rice in it. Everything else on the menu is also solid. One of the best carts in the pod.

Yelp
Located at The Heist with other food carts. It was pretty cool to see so many food carts lined up all in one spot. Plenty of street parking nearby. I stumbled upon Golden Triangle Asian Fusion on Instagram and I knew I had to try it when I visited. I was eyeing the blazing squid with rice. Oh myyy when I got my food, it smelled soooo good! Tasted just as good as it looked. The salt and pepper seasoning for these calamari were addicting. I like the balance of spice with the jalapeños. Thank goodness they give you rice too. Honestly such a comforting meal. I ate it inside of the Heist. It's a themed bank / money style. Pretty cool. There were lots of seats outside and inside. Family friendly and dog friendly as well. Service was great all around!

Yelp
Got to finally check them out and was a tad let down. Food was just ok, nothing hyped like all the influencers were making it to be. The Golden Rolls were particularly lackluster. Regular Banh Xeos are better. Bland. The Blazing Shrimps did have good flavors and were nice and crispy. Shrimps were also fresh and well-cooked. Overall, not a bad spot by any means. I'd just not hype it up so much.

Yelp
If you're searching for flavor that hits deep and lingers long after the last bite, make your way to the Golden Triangle at The Hiest Food Cart Pod--yes, the one in the old converted bank--and find the Laos and Cambodia fusion cart that's dishing out some of the most unforgettable food in Portland. We started with the grilled steak with crack sauce and sticky rice, and let me just say--oh Lord, have mercy! This dish was absolute fire. Perfectly grilled, tender steak paired with a sauce so addictive it earns its name, and sticky rice that brought it all together. Every bite was a mic drop moment. Then came the blazing squid and salt n pepper wings, which raised the bar entirely. These weren't just good--they were superior to any salt n pepper squid or wings I've had in the city. Crispy, spicy, and perfectly balanced, these dishes made us go silent. And you know the food's on another level when the table gets quiet--not because there's nothing to say, but because the food deserves your full attention. It was so good we didn't stop there--we grabbed the blazing shrimp to-go for our husbands, because leaving without more would've been a crime. This spot is an absolute must. Unpretentious, deeply flavorful, and cooked with heart. Do yourself a favor: come hungry, bring a friend, and maybe don't plan on talking much during the meal

Kiera M.

Yelp
Food photos don't match the name labels. When I complained that what I ordered isn't what I got, they told me that the photo had a different name. I pointed out that the photo was mislabeled and they might want to change it because I was disappointed and the response was "oh really?!" Food was way too mid and way too expensive for such a bad experience. Won't be going back.

Yelp
My favorite spot in the Heist. Super friendly people with realllllyyyy good food. I got the honey walnut shrimp twice in three days. Their firecracker squid/shrimp are great, too (very spicy).

Yelp
Seriously not sure how but they were smashing it as always but 110 degrees outside 150 degrees inside truck!! Please please please go sell them out early on hot days yall!!! Super amazing food and humans!!

Yelp
We were excited to try this spot based on other reviews & posts we'd seen. Everything on the menu looked great, but ultimately we landed on the grilled steak & the sweet wings. The wings were pretty good, the sauce had great flavor just wish they'd been as saucy as we'd seen in the pdxfoodfinds video. Of the two dishes this one was our fave. Definitely gonna add on extra sweet sauce next time. We wanted to love the grilled steak, but were a little bummed it came out overcooked...next time we'll ask if it's possible to get it medium rare before we order it. That sauce though! The sauce that came with it (I think it's called crack sauce?) was REALLY good, great heat and nice punch of umami flavor. I'd put that sauce on everything! Will be back to try the noodles & that pepper salted soft shell crab.

Yelp
I'm not too familiar with food carts so when I heard about this place from social media, I had to check it out. They offer Asian fusion, which I rarely eat but the seafood options caught my attention. We got the top two items on the menu: Blazing Squid and Coconut Cream Linguine with Deep Fried Shrimp. One thing to note is that each dish is packed with seafood and at a fairly reasonable price. I believe both dishes were less than $20 and were full of squid and juicy shrimp. Not to mention they were flavor bombs too. The Blazing Squid had a great kick to it while maintaining the classic salt and pepper flavor of deep fried squid and the linguine was sweet but also quite savory.

Yelp
We love a solid food cart moment! Really enjoyed the food and flavours here. PARKING: We parked along the street which was not bad. We did have to walk a couple blocks down but the neighborhood was nice and it was a beautiful day. AMBIANCE: This cart is located at The Heist and there are indoor and outdoor table options. Looks like it's based out of an old bank and there's even a vault and a vault door table inside. There was also pinball! Very cool place to sit and eat. Also dog friendly! SERVICE: Gentleman taking our orders was super nice. He was nice, greeted us, and answered our questions without hesitation. FOOD: Wow. Food was delicious. My partner got the Sweet Wings and I opted for the Red Curry Wings. Out of their wings, the Sweet Wings are reportedly their most sought after and we can see why. Well marinated with a good crunch and NOT overly friend and dried out like some other wings we've had. It's got a lot of umami and packs a real punch. The Red Curry wings were also delicious. Good flavour and good cook on the wings. Plenty of sauce on both the wings and comes with rice so this is a meal for sure. We also tried the Nam Khao which was SO GOOD. The lime gave it this extra freshness and the crunchy texture from the crispy rice was perfect. SOLID early dinner meal for us. OVERALL: Delicious. Solid Asian flavours. Great cooking. Very pleased and will definitely be coming back for more. Thanks for a great meal!

Yelp
Big fan of Golden Triangle! It's a food truck with many other food trucks around and lots of places to sit. Came with family around 5:00pm & there were a few people in line. There was a sign in the front saying it would take 45 minutes for our order to be ready, so we ordered right away. My bf & I shared the salt & pepper soft shell crab & the crispy pork belly. The pork belly was okay, but I would definitely recommend the soft shell crab! Perfect for sharing, as the fried shell can make the meal feel a little heavy. The sauce on the side is really good, but spicy, so proceed with caution when using it! I would recommend going early because by the time we finished eating, the workers had closed up shop. Will be back again if I'm ever in Oregon!

Yelp
Ordered catering here for my grad party in May 2024, but I wasn't able to try the salt & pepper wings and salt & pepper shrimp since these were the first to go! Service is amazing, they are always so kind. The food is always hot and smells SO good. I ordered the blazing squid for dinner tonight and YUM. I love the taste of salt and pepper squid, but this blazing squid had a little kick to it. It was not too salty and barely had a pepper taste, but the squid was crispy and paired well with rice. I would definitely come back and recommend checking them out!

Yelp
If you want amazing delicious and very tasty Cambodian food make the drive to Golden Triangle PDX. Hands down the best in the PNW! From The steak and rice, soft shell crab and LaoghettI are my personal favorites. Excellent customer service from Tha & Sarah.
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
I finally was able to check these guys out as they moved a bit closer into town for me. I ordered the grilled steak dish and the khao piek sen. The grilled steak was the better of the two in my opinion. The steak was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed it with the dipping sauce.
google avatar

Jasmine F.

Yelp
Quite possibly my favorite Asian fusion cart, ever. I'm a big lover of Lao food so I'm so happy to know this truck is a fusion with Cambodian! My fiancé and I are undoubtedly obsessed with their soft shell crab. There ain't no where else like it and they make it perfect to the tea everytime. I believe I've tried all of their wings that aren't specials and the sweet wings gotta be my favorite! You also can't go wrong with the grilled steak, which they always make it medium rare (unless requested?) and the honey walnut shrimp. I could honestly go on with each dish I've tried which is at least half of the menu lol but I think you can catch my drift that this place is BOMB. The spice they can provide ain't for the weak. The prices are well worth it with the portions they give. The owners are a sweet couple who are honest and open about their food truck, and you can tell they put all of their heart into the food. Be sure to check their Instagram to be up to date because they are a small business and things can go sideways or sell out!

Yelp
Drinks: - N/A Food: - The Blazing Squid is a good pick if you plan on eating on the spot. It doesn't carry well. I've had it both at The Heist and for takeout. Although it's still good after taking it home, it definitely was a little soggier after sitting in the container for a while - The Honey Walnut Shrimp is passable. It's not bad by any means, there's just much better honey walnut shrimp that you can get elsewhere. It was my least favorite out of all the dishes I've tried here. It's still good, there's nothing wrong with it. I would just advise you to try the other dishes that are much better - The Grilled Steak was surprisingly my favorite. Especially with the spicy crack sauce. My Fiancé wanted this and I was resistant, but I'm glad she convinced me to get it. I'd say this or The Blazing Squid are tried for first place. The meat is has a nice chew to it. If you're a carnivore this is the dish for you. Don't expect any sort of soft decadent meat that melts in your mouth. This is gonna work out your jaw muscles, but in a good way. I actually like how chewy the meat is. The crack sauce adds so much depth to it. Be careful though since the crack sauce is actually spicy, it's an addicting spice Ambience: - The cart itself is a solid red color and the menu is black - This cart used to be located outside of flipside bar, but it has moved to a new location called The Heist. It's a food card pod and bar collective - The Heist is a renovated bank, hence the name. It has a real deposit box room that you can view. Some of the tables are actual vault doors that they repurposed. It's a neat concept Overall: I crave this place all the time, and if I'm ever in the area, I try to swing by when I can. If you wanted a fun place to meet up with a group of people, go to The Heist and give this place a shot. You won't regret it. I haven't tried any of the drinks at the bar yet, maybe I'll give this review an update once I try that. I will definitely be back for more Grilled Steak and Blazing Shrimp
google avatar

Jonathan Y.

Yelp
Haven't tried this place since they were last at flipside but now they're currently at the heist. Overall amazed with the food like usual. The blazing shrimp is by far the best dish there and it's so good. I wish I could make that at home so I could eat it every day. We got the beef Larb, which was really good as well and the coconut cream linguine with shrimp. We've gone here a couple times and we always happen to miss the papaya salad because they run out and they didn't have it again today. Someday, we'll try it. We also came towards the tail end of their hours, and they were out of softshell crab as well, which was one of our favorites from last time. Overall, I feel like this is one of the staple Asian culinary stops in Portland.
google avatar

Melissa H.

Yelp
Everything here is sooooo flavorful and delicious! If you are looking for a solid SE Asian flavors, please give this place a shot. Definitely a must if you're a spicy lover!! They season liberally so you will definitely be thirsty afterwards This place speaks for itself, and doesn't need a ton of words from me. My favorites so far are the nam khao, blazing squid, and beef laab. Will have to come back and try their other stuff, like the wings!
google avatar

Kari K.

Yelp
Good selection of dishes! Tried Lao style crispy pork belly, heavenly beef jerky, and peppers salted soft shell crab. The pork belly was a little dry but the sauce it came with was very flavorful and a little spicy. The beef jerky dish was tough to eat, perhaps serving it cut up would make it easier to eat. The pepper salted soft shell crab was my favorite, it was tasty and the sauce was flavorful. I would go back to try other dishes.
google avatar

T M.

Yelp
I love food trucks but this one stood out for sure. Coming from a Texan, this was outstanding. Kind staff.
google avatar

My-Duyen P.

Yelp
Really delicious and well made dishes. Each one that we've tried has been full of flavor and has lovely texture. Definitely recommend ordering the blazing squid, shrimp and crab. The wings are also equally as amazing. The owners are also very friendly and wholesome.
google avatar

Molli O.

Yelp
Ohhhhhhh my gosh where do I even start? Honestly I have been wanting to try this spot for quite some time. Once they moved to their new location at The Heist, which is much closer to me, I drove right over. It was so hard to pick what to order because everything on their menu gets rave reviews. But we went with the golden rolls, sweet chile wings, laogetti, soft shell crab, and the coconut linguine. OMG. Top tier!!!! Everything was AMAZING! I get why this place gets so many positive reviews.... it's just that good. I can't pick a favorite dish because I genuinely loved them all.
google avatar

Cheri S.

Yelp
Located inside "The Heist" food carts. Great seating and live bands on the weekends. The service is great, friendly and helpful. The blazing shrimp or squid and the best! If you can't handle heat, order salt and pepper. You are not gonna lose with anything you order here! It is a must try for sure! Thank me later
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Cart is in a great space that allows for sufficient indoor seating with tvs, drinks, etc. Food came out within a good timeframe but we were slightly before the lunch rush. Food was all prepared very well and even though you find some of the menu items elsewhere these are still unique to them. The jerky was more like steak Jerky being thicker than typ (would recommend as a sharing snack over entree). Seasoning and Fry on soft shell was very nicely done. Eggroll in chicken was definitely unique and somehow still cooked nicely where it was all mush.
google avatar

Cierra L.

Yelp
Their Golden Rolls are really tasty so if you can catch them when they are available, definitely stop by to order them! I was not a fan of the grilled steak because the meat was pretty fatty. I bet the fried chicken dishes would be better! There is limited seating at the heist. But, people cycle through quickly. The service at their truck was efficient.

Amaya G.

Yelp
Man...I'm still thinking about the sauce on those sweet wings lol. Quick, delicious & great portions. I wish there was a sauce on the steak but it was good regardless.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
I had a nice meal here, with leftover to eat on the plane home to DC. I confess I am not a food truck kinda guy, but I had a hankering for Lao food, and staying near Reed College for a gathering over the weekend, this was the only place relatively close by where I could find it, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the beef larb and the beef jerky. One of the other things I wanted was unavailable, but the owner suggested that Nam Khao was very typical, so I tried it. I took it all back to where I was staying and had a real feast.
google avatar

Kristie B.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious and the nicest people! Highly recommend the blazing squid, soft shell crab and wings. Also, this is real spice- heat in the best way, people!
google avatar

Yelp
After hearing about this spot on TikTok and seeing how delicious it looked, I had to try it. This spot is a food truck at Flipside bar and food carts, located on Woodstock. Although I got this and ate it at home, you can also eat it at Flipside! I ordered A LOT to share with others: Honey Walnut Shrimp, Pepper Salted Prawns, Shrimp Larb, Crying Tiger, Wings, and Soft-Shelled Crab. Everything was delicious and the portions were pretty decent. Everything comes with rice. For some, there may be dishes that are spicy, but I thought that everything was pretty well seasoned overall. There's a good balance of veggies and protein in most dishes, which I really appreciate. Loved their honey walnut shrimp, wings, and soft-shelled crab. I wish there was more shrimp in their shrimp larb as it was mostly just cucumbers and salad, and I thought their crying tiger was a bit tough. However, it was overall pretty good and there's so many delicious foods on their menu.
google avatar

Austin N.

Yelp
Phenomenal flavors and food from this food cart. My family and I could not believe that this food came from a food cart because it was so delicious! The whole menu is top notch and I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order but the grilled steak and blazing squid were my favorites out of the dishes I've tried. The owners had a friendly demeanor and worked hard to provide good eats to the community. I love that Flipside offers indoor seating for customers to relax and enjoy the vibe or a drink.

Yelp
What I always order: 1. Blazing Shrimp is soooo good! 2. Coconut Cream Linguine with Fried Shrimp always a must. 3. Nem Kao every time. 4. Ban Xeo rolls are so good. But eat them right when you order them! Golden Triangle has been one of our family go-to's since back in the day when they were a part of the Sandy // Rose City Food Carts. Especially back then, there was so little Cambodian / Laos representation in the food scene. (Not that there is much currently). So thank god Golden Triangle opened up and has been in business this whole time. As a Cambodian, it's hard to sign off on foods that taste as good as your mamas or family cooking and since day 1, I've loved this cart. I brought my mom finally and she really loved it. So many Asian moms are like "I can cook this better at home" or "we don't need to spend money eating out," but my mom and family always love heading to Golden Triangle. That's how you know it's delicious and legit. Sarah & Ta are so friendly and work so hard. They've had their ups and downs being cart owners but I am so happy to see that their perseverance and hard work is paying off and that social media and influencers and reviews are finally noticing and reflecting how great their food is. They deserve it! For the people I see reviewing their odd hours and getting mad at them for not being open, just follow their Instagram stories because that is where you'll get up to date hours or closure info. Sarah & Ta have a family with small kiddos and life happens so don't leave a review based on just hours if you haven't been able to try their food. Follow their social media and be a nice person. They've gone through a lot! I also love that it is within the Flipside Food Carts pod because it's such a fun, causal, and inviting vibe. Good eats, good drinks, good people at prices that don't make you want to cry as you empty your wallet. I always crave Golden Triangle! I wish they were closer to my new house but I'll make the trek anyway!

Staci G.

Yelp
This was my first time eating here, and unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the high expectations set by all the glowing reviews and influencer posts I had seen. The steak dish was overcooked, not the tender, juicy, medium-rare shown in influencers posts--and while the spicy sauce helped redeem it, the dish overall fell short. We also ordered pasta dishes, but the chicken was again overcooked and the flavors of both pasta dishes were underwhelming. Perhaps it was just an off day or we didn't choose the standout items? The spicy sauce was delicious though 5/5 on the sauce, and the portion sizes were good.

Yelp
We're so lucky to have this awesome food cart joining the lineup at The Heist! We enjoyed the sweet wings, honey walnut shrimp, and spring rolls, everything was excellent and generously portioned.

Yelp
This is a great eatery. I love everything on the menu. Super friendly and accommodating. Wings are delicious, and get the salt and pepper shrimp. Yum yum.

Smaly K.

Yelp
My cousin and I came here when we were visiting Portland because there were so many yummy-sounding foods. And I liked that it was located right in front of a bar where we can go sit and eat inside because it was pretty hot the day we went, and I didn't last too long eating outside. We ordered the Blazing Shrimp, Blazing Squid, Papaya Salad, Nam Khao, and the Sweet Wings. We wanted to order more, but there's only two of us, and we already ordered more than enough. Everything was delicious. The only thing was the rice was a bit too mushy for my liking. We stuffed ourselves, and ended up not even needing to go out to dinner later. Service was friendly. Definitely plan on coming again to try more stuff.

Yelp
Fantastic Food! Absolutely loved my meal and will definitely go back to try another dish. I ordered the Beef Larb which you can see below from their food cart picture. It was delicious! I highly highly recommend!!

Yelp
We finally went to your cart since you moved to the Heist. You didn't disappoint us at all. It was beyond our expectation. We had the Coconut Cream Linguine and the Blazing Squid. It was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every single bite down to the last bite and we will definitely be back.

Kim M.

Yelp
Golden Triangle is my favorite Asian Fusion cuisine!! The ingredients are so fresh and highest quality. Any squid, crab or shrimp dish Beef Larb is another favorite. You can go from mild to by request. There is a chile sauce that I love!! The sweet couple that own and operate the cart for the past 9 years are working parents. They're good about posting on IG for any schedule changes, updates and specials! Look for Dungeness Crab when it's in season. The Heist is the lucky location to host them. It's a great place with lots to enjoy

Yelp
I asked a local Laotian where he goes for a taste of home. "Golden Triangle"!!! If you're around Woodstock or SE Portland, swing by for some of the tastiest flavors around. Super friendly. Street parking. This is a food truck spot, that share an indoor seating area. Enjoy.

Yelp
I LOVE GOLDEN TRIANGLE. I crave the blazing squid EVERY DAY. it is worth the trip and the money. Pair it up with some boba from next door. I want to try the whole menu and hope I get to. But I keep getting the blazing squid. Everything looks incredible. They are fast too. Service is great. The ambiance is a bit small being an outdoor truck but there is indoor seating that is awesome. If it's even in question, you have to go.

Yelp
We visited this food cart for the first time and boy was it delicious . We had the coconut cream linguine with shrimp. So good. We can't wait to go back and try more things. Fast service was nice also.

Yelp
I was extremely excited to try out golden triangle. They did not disappoint! They food was really delicious and had tons of flavor. The deep fried soft shell crab was def a must order , the honey walnut shrimp had a nice coconut taste to it, the blazing squid was well seasoned , and the eggrolls were FAAT. Papaya salad was on point. Def a must try if ur nearby. They specialize in thai, laos, cambodian food. Incredibly friendly and great customer service.

Yelp
Food was so flavorful! Wait want long despite lots of orders ahead of us. Cart was covered so no worrying about the rain. Eat inside the new Heist communal dining area.

Yelp
Wow, I got the Spicy Soft Shell Crab and it was the best meal I've ever had. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Soft Shell Crab and asked for extra chilli oil. They noticed my interest and excitement for spicy food and matched it, asking if I wanted to upgrade it to their spicy style instead. It was perfect. It was extremely spicy like I like it. Most places don't trust me when I ask for food to be spicy. This place exceeded expectations. I will be back. Def not the cheapest meal, but worth it. It came out in a reasonable amount of time. The Heist was a pretty cool location, but I'm sure I will come back just to take some crab home more often than I will eat there.
