We had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Golden Wuish last night! Four of us — friends and family — went together, and everything from start to finish was excellent. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding — every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The highlight of the night was definitely the Peking duck experience. It was carved tableside to perfection — crispy skin, tender meat, and served with the classic accompaniments. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into every step of the meal. A big shout-out to Angelina, who provided truly exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and making sure everything was perfect. Her warmth and professionalism really stood out and made our evening even more special. We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend Golden Wuish for anyone who loves authentic flavors, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience!

They do a pretty good Peking duck, and if you order the flaming whole duck, it's cut table side. The duck was pretty good but a little bit greasy. They also smoke a portion of the duck but I don't recommend it - it's not bad but the smokey flavor is a bit too strong. Ask them to skip that part. Finally they offer an add on of crispy duck bones - also skip it as it's literally boney duck with some veggies

Golden Wuish is an absolute gem for anyone who loves Peking duck. Their signature Peking duck is exceptional perfectly fatty, salty, crispy, and full of rich flavor. The Flaming Peking Duck is a true standout, not only for the impressive presentation but for the quality and taste that fully deliver. Paired with scallions, cucumber, and soft pancakes, it captures everything I love about authentic Peking duck. The menu blends Asian and Latin flavors in such a creative way, making every dish feel bold and unique. I also loved the duck bone soup that comes with the meal; it’s comforting, flavorful, and the perfect complement to the duck. You can choose half Peking duck and half smoked duck or go for the full Peking duck which I definitely recommend. If you’re a duck lover, Golden Wuish should be at the top of your list. The food, flavors, and overall experience truly make it worth the visit.

A gem of a restaurant tucked away in the financial district. Great service, fantastic food, and relatively solid prices for a high quality dining experience. The half duck was absolutely phenomenal, and I would highly advise you get that or even the whole duck if with another person. Making the buns is a fun and delicious experience, but eating the duck on its own was the true star of the show. It was the most beautifully crispy skin combined with the perfectly tender meat of the duck, with fat that was like candy between it all. Get the duck and have a time

We had the most amazing time — truly a 10/10 experience all around. It’s been a long time since I’ve been somewhere where everything was this good. The food, service, drinks, and ambiance were all on point. Huge thank you to Angelina for taking such amazing care of us — she made the experience even better. And that roasted duck? 20/20. Last week, my date took me to Golden Whuish-The Duck House and let me tell you, they sure do live up to their name! I’ve been here before for an event but never got the chance to eat at the restaurant proper. The whole place was decked out in Holiday decor, which, for the usually sensual ambience of the restaurant gave it such an uplifting and zealous feel. I honestly couldn’t stop smiling and giggling but that might just be because I love a theme 🙂‍↕️The staff there was super sweet and answered any question I had with expertise and warmth, which just added on to the lovely holiday feel of the place. Now, on to the food! This spot is known for their duck, their wide arrangements of drinks and cocktails and the elevated feel of dining near the Financial District. My date and I split the Octopus Ceviche, the mussels and the duck tostones 🦆The Octopus Ceviche was less citrusy than expected, but the mango sauce and chunks definitely added a layer of sweetness that blended well with the slight kick it had. It also came with tostones that were lighted salted and eating the ceviche with that just added some really nice texture and crunch. Though, the octopus itself wasn’t as tender as I was expecting it to be. Overall, I’d give it a 3.5/5 🐙 the mussels were so good and came with a buttery sauce and lemons. Trying to pinpoint the taste after the fact is near impossible but I remember feeling incredibly satisfied. I give it a 5/5 🙂‍↕️ Last but certainly not least, are the duck tostones! Duck is honestly my favorite way to consume poultry and they do it so well here. 1 serving comes with 2 tostones piled high with succulent duck, greens and mango. All the flavors complimented each other perfectly and the meat itself was super tender and juicy with a delightful crisp to the skin. 10/5 because it was just that good. This is a perfect spot for really anything! Date night, birthday, just wanna catch up with a friend over a drink; definitely plan on going to Golden Whuish ⭐️

I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to share our experience for others’ safety. We visited this restaurant and ordered their signature roast duck, which was extremely expensive. The chef came out to do the tableside flaming presentation and carving, which looked impressive at first. However, the duck itself tasted quite oily and heavy, and unfortunately things got worse afterward. Both of us felt unwell shortly after the meal, which is one of us had diarrhea the same night, and the other had stomach pain that continued into the next day and eventually led to vomiting. This is not something we expected after a high-priced meal at a well-known restaurant. Based on our experience, the food safety here is a serious concern. I hope the restaurant investigates their kitchen practices, and I recommend other customers proceed with caution.

The Peking Duck was superb; its skin was crispy and very flavorful. The table side presentation was very special. The service was delightful... our server explained each step of the duck's cuisine: the pancakes, bones and soup, which made our dinner an event. Also notable were the sautéed pea shoots and the fried dumplings. Oh, and cannot forget the delicious soup dumplings. Overall,, it was a wonderful evening.

I had the pleasure of dining at Golden Wuish tonight. My partner and I got the half duck, which was perfectly roasted with crispy skin that melted in your mouth. Personally I prefer buns to wraps, but the tender meat made up for it. Every bite was a delight! The soup was tasty as well, not too salty. Tiramisu for dessert was a perfect end to the experience. Our server, Jason, was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, ensuring our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The music was a bit too loud in the beginning but mellowed out as the night went on.

This place was a clusterduck. I ate here last night and I'm still wondering what that experience was. First off, the music was trash. It automatically ruined the ambience with the too-loud oontz-oontz music. My dinner partner and were dismayed just hearing that music. To start, our Nebbiolo was nearly transparent, bloody terrible, and totally NOT a nebbiolo‍ Our appetisers were 50/50, which is a failing grade. The truffle soup dumplings we had were okay although not standout, but the other dumplings we ordered - which I will need to research the menu for because I genuinely cannot remember what it was - were absolutely downright terrible. It should be scrapped. I have a pretty good palate for nuanced flavors, but these dumplings were so underwhelming that they tasted like a bite of nothing. It's enough that humans have to pay for water anywhere. Why should we also pay to eat air? The saving grace was that the duck was actually good. It was tender without the excessive amount of fat, but the skin was not cwispy, so I was sad. The sauce was lacking depth and dimension, but it was passable. Everything else (veggies, wraps) were okay too. The issue is that the restaurant claims to be upscale on the website, but it is nothing of the sort. This is a place you go to if you really need to see a whole duck - or cheesecake - get set on fire and they put sparklers in your birthday cake. I was wearing clothes that I wore to a museum earlier and I felt horrendously overdressed for the restaurant. It's so gaudy that it could only appeal to tourists. For the price is paid here, I'd rather eat in Chinatown and get better food and better experience as I tend to do when I'm there. The service here from the servers is great, but that doesn't distract from the fact that the non-duck food is not amazing. If you come here, get the duck and the duck alone. Sidenote: this has nothing to do with my review of the food, but I just wanna give you an idea of how not-upscale this place is. I went to the restroom and had to go to the front desk to get the code. I'd asked two other people how I can get into the bathroom to no avail. When I finally got in, both stalls were occupied, and but there were so many noises coming out of the handicap stall. Only one pair of shoes was visible, but the way my jaw dropped when three whole women walked out through a hazy smoke couldn't have gone unnoticed. That was the most disgusting thing I'd seen in a while. Like, why would you want to vape in the presence of poop fumes?? As that one Scottish woman once said, "Digusteng"!

Known for their Peking Duck, Golden Wuish really executes the traditional dish with full authenticity and adds a bit of flare. The food is on point and full of great flavour and the decor to match. For those looking for a great ambiance, a dinner date or even a corporate outing, this is a great spot. Taste: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value for money: 3.5/5 (the meals are a bit on the pricier side) We had the squid ink fried rice which was extremely delicious, or course the duck which again is on point and lastly gai lan which was cooked to perfection.

Went earlier this year... 8pm reso & we got seated 45 minutes later! If it wasn't for Carlos at the bar or our waiter throwing in drinks on the house, the dining experience would have been absolutely terrible. Have you ever heard of anyone at a restaurant for 4 hours? And no, not because we were having a great time, but not only because we didn't get seated for 45 minutes, our food took forever too! Mind you, we also weren't even seated in the dining area, we were seated by the bar. We started off with the hot stone wagyu, which was good. We also decided to go with the assortment dim sum set. That wasn't bad, but the black truffle soup dumplings had 0 truffle flavor to it in general. We had to of course get the Peking duck- it's why we chose to try this restaurant in the first place. The price compared to Chinatown is wildly overpriced, but it was delicious. Downside is that we waited another hour and a half for it tho (from the time we sat down)!!! It did feel like there wasn't much to it either, and we asked if we can take the rest of "the bones" home, and the waiter originally said no because it's do used for the "broth" but we all know that's a lie. At the end of dinner, we actually did get some sort of duck leftovers home. Would I come back here? No. All those posts the influencers posted were because they either received special treatment or something idk. But as a regular paying customer, I would never come back.

I came here for dinner to celebrate reuniting with a friend. Walking in, the staff is super friendly. The place is dimly lit, but the decor is pretty. The main attraction for me was the Peking duck. If you order the duck, you have the option of getting it cooked three ways. First and foremost, after they carve it tableside, you have the option to have it stir fried and also turned into soup. When they do the carving, it is a beautiful presentation. They set the duck a blaze too! Overall, this place is an elevated western Chinese place. It is a little $$$, but great for special occasions. Plus the food is delicious. I would recommend!

A group of friends, my fiancé, and I came here not too long after our engagement. I am a huge Peking duck fan and was hoping to find some nearby where we were staying in FiDo. I came across this hidden gem. And while it's definitely the trendiest place I've ever gotten a Peking duck from, it was still really delicious. We ordered the flaming duck and it felt like dinner theater. Watching the whole duck go in flames makes for very unique Yelp photos and videos. Our friends ordered some tasty dumplings and noodles too. They also ordered some drinks that were absolutely delicious. Our servers were kind and helpful. This place has a trendy and upscale vibe. The only reason it loses a star for me is because my fiancé and I got a little sick after our meal. Our friends shared some of the duck with us, but I can't tell if it was food poisoning or if we ate more than we should've. I ate the usual amount I eat for Peking duck. So perhaps just have one pancake of flaming duck to avoid this.

Hands down amazing Peking duck spot!! Highly highly reco getting the whole duck if you're here!! It comes with the smoked duck and soup too!! Drinks (overall all a bit strong alcohol tasting) and none of it was my taste preference - Amor Amargo 3.5/5: swapped the mezcal with gin for my own taste preference but I asked for something refreshing and sour and it didn't really give me that - health & beauty 4/5: gives the melona icecream taste and it's not bad - prob the best out of the bunch - espresso berry martini 4/5: if you like espresso martini then you would def like this! But don't rly taste the berry in it Small plates: - spicy cucumbers 4.5/5: don't think you can mess this up so this was hands down delicious - clams 4/5: not bad but not impressive either - the base for the clams was heavily in soy sauce and it's more on the saltier end Large plates: - clay pot rice 5/5: this is the second best thing after the duck!! Would highly reco getting this here - Chongqing chicken 4/5: the chicken was relatively juicy but not spicy even though they put soooo many peppers (honestly more for the looks) the chicken to pepper ratio is like 3:5 - Dan Dan noodles 2/5: this was my least fave and would not reco getting this. The noodles was simply not good? And do not rly taste the wagyu beef? Dessert: They even give you complimentary tiramisu and they do a whole show for you. It's kinda cute and it tasted even better! 4.5/5 Overall it's a great place to go for the experience and the vibes!

What a hidden gem! I've been here twice for friends' birthdays and the ambience, service, and food are all stellar. They specialize in duck, which you can opt to have prepared 4 different ways. I loved how they bring it out on a cart and have a fun demonstration in front of your table. We also tried several other dishes like lobster mapo tofu which were all excellent- seems like you can't go wrong! Would definitely recommend for last minute big groups!

The Peking duck was very good for the price, which came in 3 ways. However, if you want the salt and pepper bones for the 4th dish, the charge $10 for it. We all think it was a ripoff. Didn't we already paid for the bones?? Other dishes came in smaller portion than what we used to, especially the beef chow fun. Only a few noodles were under a bed of veggies. If you're someone wants something more substantial, you probably need to double the order on noodle and rice dishes.

This experience was top-notch. Yum Cha Set - A nice sampler of different flavors. Flaming Peking Duck - You have to pre-order if you want the whole duck. I added it as a note when I made my reservations online. Wow, the duck was truly the star of the show. It's served three different ways: roasted, smoked, and soup. I loved everything about the presentation. First, they light up the duck in a fiery display, then they cut and artfully serve the duck. Then, they smoked some of the duck right in front of us. They brought the leftovers back to the kitchen to make soup. I enjoyed all three versions of the duck. Wagyu Beef DanDan Noodles - Tasty, but very spicy. Tiramisu - Cute dessert made table side. Dinner here was like watching a show from beginning to end. Our server was so sweet and kind, too. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys duck.

We had such a pleasant experience at Golden Wuish. The flaming Peking Duck was a showstopper for sure but their wagyu on hot stone, truffles soup dumplings, clay pot rice, and those desserts are to die for. Service and ambiance were top notch. Absolutely love this place.

Duck is good but probably wouldn't get the other dishes again. I would recommend to try full size duck instead of like me who got half duck and other two dishes(sake mussels and the dim sum Yum Cha set). Duck came with crepe and also they give you duck soup as well. The drinks are okay, tastes kinda sweet and too artificial for me personally. * note only full size duck for a flaming duck experience.

Visiting from california- got to the restaurant at 1230am on jan 15 2025- knowing the restaurant closes at 2am. Upon arrival, they claimed they are close and the kitchen closes at 1230? Travelled from upper east side to try this place out and it was a disappointment. Lights were still on, even the open sign was still on. Dont bother traveling here to eat if youre coming far- they might just surprisingly change their closing time on you.

The flaming duck was just delicious! It is also well priced because it comes 3 ways. First as a flaming roast duck, then the parts he did not serve is smoked in a pot while you eat, and the 3rd way is the soup with tofu and many ingredients in it. So for the price of 1 flaming Peking duck - you also get the other 2 ways! Then there is 4th way for an extra $10 - they fry it crisp and seasoned served with chopped salad with onions etc. We tried their big truffles soupy dumplings. That too was delicious served in its own sauce in a container like a big soup spoon without the handle holding the dumpling. Delicious! The crispy fried Peking style pork chops also served with torn salad is very good too. We had to have a vegetable and chose the Thai style water spinach which I loved. Last the Dandan noodles - with sauce and spice. A little but I could have this again. We were stuffed and we thought maybe we should have ordered only 1 set of truffled soupy bun.

Impeccable experience. You know Peking duck is legit when you leave and the entire restaurant is filled with Asians. The menu seems to be more of a Chinese/Mexican fusion with some dishes that incorporate both cuisines such as the Birria Shanghai Noodles. The duck is legit and can be made into four ways: 1) traditional; 2) smoked: 3) bone broth and; 4) salt and pepper. All top notch and doesn't stray far from Beijing classics. The service is extremely accommodating which really compelled me to write a review. Amazing time.

We came here after 10pm and the dining area was close but the front bar seating was open. This area was loud because DJ was playing. I enjoyed the music but we could not really talk among the group. It was like eating in a club. We wanted the duck but it had to be ordered/reserved in a day's advance. Tried the other dish and it was good. The grill lamb was the favorite. Then comes the dumplings and the claypot rice. I believe it is worth giving a try but keep in mind when you are eating to be in the desired setting.

The place was a lot better than I thought. Everything was super delicious. How they make the Peking Duck is amazing. Other than the traditional ways to eat it, they also smoke part of the duck and it was so delicious. Mapo tofu with lobster is a highlight of the menu. I wouldn't recommend hot stone wagyu beef though. The service was good. And I like the vibe too and the restaurant is very modern. Overall it's a great place to check out.

Golden Wuish in FIDI is known for their famed Flaming Peking Duck served three ways and their elevated Cantonese offerings! Chinese liquor is poured over a tableside duck to flambé it, resulting in a remarkably crispy skin. I enjoyed wrapping the duck in fresh pancakes and adding in the condiments. The second variation of this dish involves smoking the duck with lychee wood, which enhances the flavor. The remaining duck bones are then utilized to create a third dish, a delicious soup. This has truly been one of my favorite Peking duck experiences! Another dish that I really enjoyed was the steamed Chilean sea bass. The fish had a flaky texture and an abundance of flavor. I would absolutely go back here!

Was really craving some good sit-down Chinese food, so we gave this place a try. The ambiance is really dark and date-night-vibes inside, but we chose to sit outside because we were a bit cold. Service was okay, a bit slow at times, but not horrible. We ended up ordering the Broccoli, Dan Dan Noodles, Wontons with Chili Oil, Shrimp Har Gow, and Shrimp Fried Rice and everything was pretty good :))) Broccoli (9/10): one of my fav dishes, I'm a huge fan of garlic and it was super flavorful Dan Dan Noodles (7/10): these were decent, but imo could've been spicier Wontons with Chili Oil (8/10): very yummy, but also very typical / nothing extraordinary Shrimp Har Gow (8/10): also delicious, but very typical Shrimp Fried Rice (7/10): decent, but I would've liked a bit more protein in it

Got food poisoning (ordered baos, full duck, and bean sprout fried rice). If it wasn't for that, I'd give 5 stars. Despite the business owner commenting to reach out - I did, they replied back with a solution and I replied back saying that would work. Never received the solution and never heard back even after a follow up email.

Three words: Flaming Peking Duck. Trust me on this one. The place is down in the financial district, with stockbroker prices to match. However, the quality of the food and the excellent service are worth the prices charged. When you make a reservation, make sure to reserve your duck. If you don't, you might be disappointed when you arrive, as they only have a limited number of ducks each night. We started with a cocktail and a Mocktail, both of which were great. We then moved onto the spicy, Sichuan dumplings, and the black truffle soup dumplings. Both were excellent, with thin, not chewy dough, and plump, juicy fillings. The Szechuan dumplings were a little less spicy than I would have expected, but I remedied that with a quick order of spicy Szechuan pepper oil. The duck was the star of the show. Crispy skin, succulent meat, and for the first time I've ever had it, they served the breast meat with the traditional accompaniments, and then they carved the leg and thigh meat, and smoked that portion over lychee wood while we were eating the duck breast filled crêpes. The smoke flavor in the dark meat was outrageously good. We also had the bones stir-fried for an additional $10. Not sure the upcharge was worth it, but it was an interesting way to have them. Highly recommended for Peking duck in the financial district.

Just went there for my bfs bday, they had excellent customer service and we love the Peking duck so munch! Indoor lighting was kinda dark, it's hard to take good picture inside, need to bring my light ring for pictures next time!

We celebrated a milestone birthday for Mommy and Golden Wuish did not disappoint. The ambience and aesthetic of this restaurant is very sexy and visually appealing. Its a nice place for a date a group dinner or if you want to hang at the bar and people watch good looking people. Service was A-1. They took very good care of us. We dined on a smorgashboard of everything. We started with the flaming peking duck experience. The duck was crispy and succulent. We tried it smoked, in wraps and soup. We shared a dim sum platter with an assortment of dumplings. We ordered The lamb chops, lobster and tofu, braised pork knuckle, lobster and tofu mapo, black truffle fried rice, and duck tacos. We ended the dinner by singing Happy Birthday to the Ole Gal. She had a chocolate cate and we tried the moon cake. We ordered a few cocktails but the summer daisy was a hit and my favorite. We had so much food and I want to go back to try the dan dan noodles and the spicy prawn. This experience was a good time.

Went to Golden Wuish for the Peking Duck Experience and was not disappointed. The duck was finished tableside and presented three ways - roast duck pieces (like traditional Peking Duck dishes), smoked and in a broth. Excellent! We also got a few Soup Dumplings and Sesame Chicken as starters and Black Truffle Fried Rice as a side - all good. Our server Asma was terrific and guided us through dinner. Great food in a trendy atmosphere!

My son and I arrived around 9pm and they close 2am. We were given a table at the bar and we asked to sit in the dining room. Request was refused. We sat down for a minute and said no thank you and left.

You HAVE to try this Flaming Peking Duck Experience!!!! Located in the financial district, Golden Wuish offers their incredible Flaming Peking Duck and maybe I'm just a child in an adults body but I was definitely feeling the WOW factor. The experience can be featured as either the half or full duck and is flamed table side for your enjoyment. As much as we all love a good this process also poses as last step in locking in the moisture of the duck and providing you with the moist and tender pieces that we love. The duck is then served three ways as they slice the breast, smoke the dark meat and end with a duck soup which is cooked in the bone broth so you really get every pennies worth of your meal. I also had a few of their other menu items and everything was super tasty. I especially loved their Squid Ink Fried Rice which was flavorful and perfect to share with the table. If you thought the show was over, you were wrong. End the night with something sweet and make sure to order their Tiramisu which is also prepared table side and the perfect treat for those with a sweet tooth. The flaming Peking Duck is the largest, juiciest and Lucious treat ever. The three of us had big portions and still took home the leftovers. They also made a lovely soup with the bones complementary. We ordered dumplings and noodles which were so flavorful. Wish we had such a restaurant in Boston!

I'm thoroughly impressed by the authentic Chinese cuisine offered at Golden Wuish. Their menu boasts must-try dishes like the Flaming Peking Duck, Yum Cha set, and Three Cup Chicken. Moreover, they feature a diverse selection of Asian fusion and innovative dishes. One standout favorite of mine is the Lobster Tail Mapo Tofu. While Mapo Tofu is a common find in many Asian restaurants, this rendition is truly exceptional. It's the first time I've experienced the combination of lobster tail with tofu, and the result is extraordinary--succulent lobster and spicy tofu in a flavorful sauce. Admittedly, dining here comes at a premium compared to other establishments, but every dollar spent is justified by the exceptional quality of the cuisine.

Food 7/10 Ordered a lot of food, I thought it was quite solid but not the most authentic. Did not foot the bill so I don't know how that compares, but it definitely would have been pricier considering the location and the ambiance. I enjoyed the green beans and the Peking duck. Definitely order the duck and the spicy wontons if you do go, they taste comforting. Atmosphere 6/10 Did not appreciate the fly that was buzzing around my table. Besides that, it was a decent spot and felt clean enough. Located next to a hotel in FiDi. Service 8/10 Friendly and helpful, nothing to complain about.

The servers were attentive and warm, the ambiance was a bit dark but gave really good vibes- you could be on a date, with friends family or work- it's fits all the occasions. The food and obviously the flaming duck was cooked to perfection- we had it 4 ways- sliced when came out, smoked and then the fried bones (my fav)- there was a different type of dumpling for any taste palette and my fav sides were the pineapple short ribs and the walnut shrimp! I would come back here again and again and again especially since you can walk off the food at pier 17 close by.

I was passing by & took a picture of the happy hour menu. After leaving another venue, I decided to go in. The door was opened for me. I asked if I could have the happy hour specials outside. I was informed I could. However, when I walked in and saw the beautiful bar, I decided to sit inside. The ambiance was amazing. There were several great happy hour options. I decided to try the Lychee Martini, and it didn't disappoint. Carlos, the mixologist, is amazing! I ordered four of the happy hour spring rolls. They were delicious and made me wish I ordered more. The presentation was great. They were crispy and not greasy. Overall, I had an amazing experience, and I will definitely visit again. I almost didn't want to share this hidden treasure that I found.

PHENOMENAL PHENOMENAL PHENOMENAL place !!!! Hands down the best dining experience I've had in a very longgg time. The flaming Peking duck is FANTASTIC!! You haveee to order it trust me you won't be disappointed. They use all parts of the duck to make other dishes like a flavorful soup. Not to mention their small plates are out of this world the Sichuan wontons in chili oil will have you obsessed !! The service is top tier they super accommodating and attentive and the food comes out quick and hot absolutely without a doubt would eat here everyday if I could.

An absolutely incredible experience! I came for the flaming duck, and stayed for everything else... Chef herself came out, and roasted the duck three ways, and carved it up for us it was the most amazing duck I've ever ever tasted! The dim sum is also incredible, I had the pork dumplings with chili oil, and also duck dumplings, Yum. I must order is the Wagyu on the hot stone and absolutely all the drinks are amazing! Jimmy and Anthony took amazing care of us. I will absolutely be back with friends. Incredible Restaurant !

Also pay the $10 extra for the fried duck bones which is both worth it in terms of price to size and delicious. Get the excellent Eel Fried Rice also. Rest was fine. I was at this restaurant yesterday with one of my groups. Apparently since the last time, they had changed their menu as one of the dishes wasn't too popular or something similar but we made do (they got rid of the salted egg yolk char siu.) The lighting there which had also been updated was way too dark for photos but it's a nice relaxing atmosphere. Our first waitress was honestly pretty terrible with her forgetting an order, not adding the number of dishes properly that we were ordering, and forgetting that one of the glasses of wine from happy hour was already paid for at the bar even though all these things were explicitly said multiple times. Soon, she was replaced by someone else who had been working there a lot longer who was excellent outside of at one point offering us oolong tea and then charging us for it (it was $6.) For happy hour I got the Hong Kong Mule which was essentially a Moscow Mule made with yuzu which was a fun spin. It was perfectly fine for $9 bucks. We soon got one of the two full Flaming Peking Ducks we ordered. Said dish is either $44 for half or $88 for a full one and I would highly recommend it (and add the $10 for the extra duck bone dish.) The already partially prepared duck is put on fire at the table and soon it is sliced with some of the duck going in a separate container to be smoked. The breast "served with crispy skin served with cucumber, scallion, home made (hoisin) sauce, and pancakes" is the first preparation and our group of seven was able to have one very full pancake each with plenty of duck (or it could be made with multiple with less of said duck.) The duck was moist and the skin was crispy and it was excellent although I'm not sure if the pancakes were homemade as they seemed a tad uniform. The 2nd preparation was Smoked Duck which is from the same bird and the same flame is put into a pot and smoked for a few minutes and it was smoky as expected (though less so as expected compared to Camphor Tea duck) and delicious with very tender meat. The third preparation was a Duck Bone Soup which has tofu and seaweed. The duck bone soup wasn't an afterthought (compared to some other spots like Chef Huang) with the clear broth having a delicious duck flavor as there was goji berries in there also and I think a bit of daikon as well as a small piece of duck inside. The soup was served near the end of the meal and it was quite tasty. For $10 extra, I would highly recommend adding the fourth option which is the Fried Duck Bones. These are salt and pepper style with plenty of juicy meat left on the bones which are fried to perfection. For the price, it's no brainer and with the flavor being as good as it is, it's doubly more so. Outside of the outstanding duck, we got a few other dishes. The Grilled Eel Fried Rice with wok-fried rice with with eel, pickled daikon and a sunny-side egg is a fun spin and my other favorite. It was definitely worth it for around $22. There was also some bonito flakes as well as some pickled mustard greens I believe. This was similar in concept to an unadon from Japanese restaurants with super tender unagi/eel but this was better than most of those other spots thanks to the good rice which had a nice mix of textures from said vegetables and the wok flavor. I would highly recommend that also and the portion size was plenty enough to share. The Northern-Style Cumin Lamb Chops with toasted cumin at $32 were ordered medium rare and they were fine. The lamb was super tender and moist being perfectly cooked but I would say that the cumin flavor was lacking compared to the northern Chinese spots I've been to. Usually, this style of lamb chops is absolutely covered with toasted cumin but I would say this version was a bit more refined with the cumin flavor being more subtle. In short, the flavor of the lamb was excellent but I am not sure if the cumin flavor is pronounced enough. It comes with a small salad mixed into it also. The Duck Nachos with tortillas, shredded duck, Sichuan cheese melt, and guacamole for $15 or $7 on the happy hour menu. This was perfectly fine junk food and would work well at the bar but I wasn't a huge fan of it as there wasn't much meat. We finally got the Tong Gai Lan With Soy Garlic Sauce or Tender Chinese Broccoli with homestyle sauce for $16. The gai lan which is commonly called Chinese broccoli was tender but the sauce was a bit light. It reminded me of the lamb chops in that way but if you want something a bit less rich, I'd probably go order it or the string beans. Out of review space. Mid 4 for the duck primarily and the excellent eel fried rice.

The place is beautiful and the staff is amazing, I was really excited to try this place cause it's so close by, but sadly this wasn't it for me. I tried the soup dumplings, ribs and Chilean sea bass, and it was ok, but didn't really prompt me to go back. Out of all three I do recommend the sea bass and the cocktails were really good and amazing price.

This place is amazing. As a Beijinger, I think the Beijing duck is authentic. They cooked it in 3 ways. I like both the roasted and smoked way. The salt and pepper of duck bones is also delicious but a bit oily. Love the tiramisu and also 煲仔饭. Will definitely stop by here again if I visit in the future. The service is great.

We had my son's 21th birthday here and they had a section off area for my party. It was great. Jimmy the manager personally took care of us with another two server. The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the service is great too. I would come here with a smaller party but the large party we had (14 ppl) we were well fed. I wasn't able to take many photos since I just want to eat! Highly recommended.

Came here today for lunch to celebrate my birthday. We arrived early but was seated at once without issue. We pre-ordered the flaming Peking duck. It was excellent. The presentation, the taste, all excellent. We chose the duck broth as the second dish. It took a long time to arrive, but the taste was heavenly. We also had the cumin lamb bun, potstickers, steamed chilean sea bass, and eel fried rice. They were all very very good. The price point is average with the location in NYC. I left the restaurant very happy and satisfied.

Came here for my birthday weekend. I had such an amazing time here. The staff were amazing and the food was simply delicious. The ambiance was very nice I liked that is was low lighted inside felt like a cozy place to eat and it was very nice inside. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making my birthday and my partner Father's Day a great one

Upscale Asian fusion with amazing fiery duck table-side! The duck was served four different ways. The smoked duck at the table was unforgettable! The squid ink seafood fried rice is a must try as well. They also make very unique drinks, Duck fat Old Fashion. Server & manager was very informative and had great recommendations.

I got the full Peking duck because some of the reviews mentioned the half Peking duck wasn't as good. The ambience is very dark which isn't my preference but the restaurant itself was nice and staff were attentive. I've imagined they will be as good as the best Peking duck places in Houston China town, but this place was actually better. Their smoked Peking duck had a great smoky flavor. The pancakes were expertly made to be very thin and each pancake was separated which was a nice surprise. They also offered extra pancakes free of charge.
