"Goldie, the falafel and tehina shake spot from Mike Solomonov and Steve Cook, opened its first location in Rittenhouse in spring 2017 and has since expanded to the Franklin’s Table food hall at Penn and the Whole Foods in Fairmount." - Rachel Vigoda

"The menu at the Franklin’s Table outpost of Goldie, the falafel hotspot from Mike Solomonov and Steve Cook, is pretty much the same as the Center City original. Look for falafel tucked in a pita or piled on a salad, shawarma-spiced fries, and those famous tehina (tahini) shakes in flavors like Turkish coffee and mint chocolate. Everything here is vegan." - Rachel Vigoda

First time to Goldie absolutely amazing falafel sandwiches, the folks that served us were very nice. We ended up getting two falafel served in pita with marinated cabbage and cucumbers and tahini sauce fantastic very filling very fresh. My lady decided to get a tahini shake. I don’t do sugar I did have a little sip. Very tasty just for me. It would be nice if they offered a tahini shake with Stevia or something that has a very low glycemic impact think that’s the only thing that this place is missing

Heads up, this is inside of a Whole Foods! So great if you’re looking to grocery shop, but bad if you want a more chill, hangout environment. Other than that, awesome place!! Their hummus combo was incredible. Seriously it’s some of the best hummus I’ve ever had and the pita is so fresh and fluffy. Amazing! I’ll have to come back and try the shake that everyone raves about and the rest of the menu looked delicious too. Really fresh, really filling. Wish this place was everywhere. 🥙🫓🧆🥗🥒🥕🧅

On our 11th date, my sweetheart and I stopped at Goldies to grab a quick meal before going to hear a jazz jam at the Barnes Foundation. Being new to Philly, my sweetheart had not yet had a chance to try Goldies. In an effort to eat healthy, he makes plenty of his own hummus. It's a heroic effort, but I had to show him the humus by which I compare all other humus -- Goldie's. He didn't disagree with me that Goldie's has a uniquely velvety texture and taste. He also approved of the falafel and was tickled that he could get an interesting beer. True to fashion, he felt we needed desert and came back with an array of baked goods from the market. I chose to buy half a dozen extra pitas from Goldies. I like to cut them in half and freeze them. That actually get better after going from freezer to toaster and then lathering all of the little nooks and crannies with butter. The concert was disappointing. The ticket information from Barnes was confusing and we arrived well into the program when the band was finishing its wild exuberant finale. I know the band to be good, but the acoustics of the hall did the music no favors. My sweetheart was a good sport about it.

I love Goldie so much. Their tehina shake is out of this world. Their falafel salad is also awesome (ordered it to go with dressing mixed in). Highly recommend trying it here. This location is situated in Whole Foods.

The tehina milkshake is AMAZING. We had the mint chip flavor which tasted like a non-vegan milkshake. The shawarma spiced fried were crisp and flavorful. Falafel was super tasty with a great salad - hope you can all add whole wheat pita as an option soon!

Awesome place with awesome staff. 100% Vegan and Kosher!! This location is inside a whole foods, so parking is never an issue. Had it many times for lunch and dinner, the food is always very fresh and great tasting, the staff is amazing, professional and quick. Highly recommend everything about it, except the ketchup!

I am writing this as I am sat in the restaurant. I never write reviews unless I am absolutely enamored by the food and it would be an understatement to say this food blew me away. I got a simple plate of falafel with hummus and Lord forgive me but Jesus Christ this is too good. Cashier is so friendly. I will start to shop at this Whole Foods just sl I can come here to eat.

Finally! Goldie’s triumphant return to Whole Foods - so appreciated! The falafels are just as delicious as ever, the fries are perfect, and the tahini shakes are an unexpected victory. But as wonderful as the falafels are, there’s no beating the hummus. Hands down, the best hummus anywhere, ever. I could eat it every day.
