12 Standout Spots for Boba in Las Vegas

"Gong Cha first made a name for itself in Taiwan for its milk foam. The slightly whipped topping is creamy, sweet, and savory — just right for going on any flavor of tea. It later made the rounds on TikTok for its two-liter branded Mega Mug full of boba." - Katie Swalm, Janna Karel

Used to be a fan of Gong Cha but not anymore Qualify is so bad. Compared to other places in town with pricing and better than quality and size. Definitely will not return

I went to gong cha a few days ago and they had the Felix update (I went to see the Felix and try to get the freebies but they didn’t have them at the time because the update barely came out for US) and I just loved the Felix decor and how the Self order station thing has his voice and on the screens it has Felix for gong cha and it was WOWW it was so cute and the service was amazing and the people working there were nice and the boba was super yummy since we got Felix three drinks and I had the brown sugar one and it was so freaking good 👍 and I tried the other ones and they also were super yummy 😋 LOVE YA GONG CHA 🧋🧋🧋🧋🧋 AND I LOVE U FELIX

Clean and nice place. You can sit and drink your Bobba tea comfortably. They have a self serve kiosk for ordering and payment. Drinks as always taste good! Always quench my thirsts and cravings. I will be coming back for more.

I got the strawberry cheesecake boba with star jelly in. Was quick service and easy to use the machines when ordering. Nice vibe in the shop

Overall: 3.2/5 (take out) We were walking through the plaza and saw that Gong Cha was having a grand opening special so we decided to stop in. We haven't had Gong Cha in years so it was nostalgic for us. Unfortunately their AC was broken so they were working on fixing it and fans turned on. The manager was nice and apologized to the customers for it and reassured everyone that the AC was being fixed. Large Peach Green Tea ($6.75) + Pearls ($0.75) + Star Jelly ($0.75) = $8.25 This was a pricey drink for a pretty average tasting fruit tea. We got it at 100% sweetness but it wasn't overly sweet, even with the extra toppings (the star jelly has a lot of sweetness on its own). Pearls were alright. For this price, I think there are other places that offer better fruit teas. For the BOGO, you get a medium regular milk tea or any of the yogurt drink. If you want toppings, you have to pay for it. Passionfruit Yogurt Drink ($6.50 - free due to promotion) + White Pearls ($0.75): They messed up our drink order and put regular pearls instead so I got it remade. I was sad that they didn't give me the messed up drink too since I already poked my straw in it. Such a waste to throw it away :( Anyways, the flavors were subtle and honestly, I felt like it's such a waste of money to buy these yogurt drinks. It just tastes like flavored Yakult if I'm being honest. The white pearls were good though.

I visited this Gong Cha location on 12/25 and ordered three drinks. The employee who took our order assured us that a drink with milk, brown sugar, and pearls could be made. However, when Erica began preparing the drink, we specifically asked her not to include foam. She asked us to wait while she continued making the drink with foam, and added Oreo, which was not what we requested. We clarified again that we only wanted milk, brown sugar, and pearls. She then informed us that this was not a drink they could make, and the off-menu option only included Oreo. I returned to the original employee who took our order, and she offered to remake the drink for us. However, Erica intervened and insisted that it was not a drink they could prepare, offering either a refund or to keep the incorrect drink. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and frankly, the worst I've had at a Gong Cha location. It was disappointing to see Erica dismiss the customer's needs and fail to correct the situation when she had the opportunity to do so. Gong Cha should consider hiring more competent management who understands how to address customer concerns and provide quality service.

7/21: The line started forming at 8am and I got there at 11am, so there was already a long line of people. I was finally able to grab my orders around 1:15pm after 20 minutes of ordering. Shout to the manager and the team for dealing with the rush of people for the FFXIV event! To those who attempted to get the key chain via mobile order, it's stated on the FFXIV event website, "Get your hands on a commemorative key chain with qualifying purchases. Keychain designs and requirements may vary by region. Ask in-store for more details." Qualifying Purchases.. Requirements may vary.. Ask in-store.. Changing rules is probably the best action they chose as the only store in Las Vegas. 7/18: My husband and I came in for the FFXIV Collab! The cashier told everyone it was going to be an hour wait upon ordering even though there was no rush of people until after we ordered. I like that they took their time to keep everything efficient and accurate. Shout out to the team for handling the crowd as best as possible! My favorite drinks are the Fat Cat Purrfect Brown Sugar Milk Tea Latte and Cactuar Matcha Milk Tea Latte!

No AC, it was very very hot in there. Average quality drink, too sweet by default. Very boring interior with no seating. Crime against humanity to have paper straws for boba, mine crushed trying to pierce the plastic top and splashed everywhere.

Yelp
The customization options were very nice and the tea came quickly! Tldr: i crave caffeine and this was exactly what i needed

Yelp
We got the green milk tea and black milk tea with boba. I ordered mine with 0% sugar but I guess they did not hear because it came full sugar. They remade my drink pretty quickly! I do like how they give so much boba with their drinks! Parking is in a plaza and I do not think there's a restroom.

Yelp
Back home on the east coast, gong cha is one of the better boba shops. Though boba is well established here on the west and I've found some of my favorites, I was still excited to learn that one opened up here. I stopped in on a Saturday night. I got the Three Js which is a packed milk tea with pearls, pudding and herbal jelly. My boyfriend got a crème brûlée drink. The crème brûlée was torched which stayed true to the dessert. It had a nice crisp and crunch to it which later dispersed into the drink and made for nice texture with each sip. I don't know anywhere else that does their crème brûlée drinks like this. Can't wait to try it again!

Yelp
I love boba and was excited when Gong Cha finally made it to the city! It took over the location of one of my old favorite boba spots in Chinatown. I love how they have screens you can order from which makes it easy. They have a big Las Vegas sign inside which makes the location unique. I always order the boba milk tea and the bubble waffle and the wait is never too long. Its always worth a trip for me! I will say there is no public bathrooms, not even for paying customers.

Yelp
Drinks were delicious and staff was friendly. And very clean store ! We had the Strawberry Cheesecake milk tea and also milk tea with boba. Boba was right texture ! Will come back.

Yelp
Their menu is extensive, offering a wide variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. I've tried several of their drinks, and each one has been a hit. The boba is chewy and satisfying. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you're a seasoned boba enthusiast or new to the craze, I highly recommend checking out this boba tea place. My friend is from New York City and recommended this place.

Yelp
Great location after eating dinner nearby, skip ordering desert and come straight to Gong Cha for boba! Ordered the crème brûlée brown sugar milk tea. They even scorched the top to make it like the desert. Well worth it. They have a list of teas, coffees, and slushy options. Has a few tables but mostly an order and go place. No restroom for customers.

Yelp
We're always looking for bubble tea after a meal. It's our dessert. This cafe is nice and bright. We ordered bubble tea at the kiosk on the wall. There is a cashier available if kiosk is occupied or broken. There were a large party ahead of us, so we had to wait for our drinks. We didn't mind, since it was super hot outside. Then my colleagues wanted to take pictures in front of the sign after the crowd left.

Yelp
Located in one of the Las Vegas Chinatown strip malls, this Gong Cha was hard to spot from the outside as it didn't have signage on the outside. We ordered the lemon green tea with 30% sweetness and light ice, and it had just the right amount of tartness and sweetness and was icy cold, which is so refreshing in this dry, hot dessert heat. Only two tables and one was close to the bathroom which I don't like. I recommend they move the line and add another table and some seats!

Yelp
This place just opened in Las Vegas, and I was really excited to try it after going to the East Coast. Initially, while walking in it was just like any other Boba shop, there were drink specials, but the one thing that I noticed was the pricing was a bit more expensive than what I usually is at other places. Assuming they have better quality products I don't mind but paying 8+ dollars for a drink was kind of surprising on my end. The service is really nice and they were really efficient and the inside was, small bright and roomy. The drinks were really good and I would definitely come back.

Yelp
I've been thinking of Gong Cha ever since I tried it in Boston a few years ago, so I'm super happy one finally opened here! The drinks are just as yummy as I remembered! I've been a few times now and have loved pretty much everything I've gotten. My go-to lately has been the yogurt drinks from the creative series. I recommend adding the star jelly to it. My only note, however, is I wish the yakult/yogurt flavor was a bit more prominent. The last time I went though I asked them if they could add a little extra yogurt but this drink really hit the spot on a hot day. The service has been amazing too! All of the staff is super sweet and attentive making sure everything is to your liking. I can't wait to try more of the milk teas in upcoming visits!

Yelp
Kiara and Nicolle were very nice boba to provide good service! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
First time meeting up with friends. The menus offers a great selection of teas , the place is clean , you can either order from the counter or two kiosk machines , service was very fast . The only recommendation is if they can add more tables for people to sit down , meet up with friends and some social meetings, etc .

Yelp
I came in on the first & third day of their grand opening and the team members were welcoming & friendly. Even though they were very busy the staffs kept their smiles on and remained calm. Ashlee (one of the cashiers) was wonderful and helpful when I had so many questions about the drinks. She recommended the mango green tea with boba, taro milk tea & mango yogurt drinks. All were delicious and had the right amount of sweetness! And, the drinks were made pretty quick. The store is clean & inviting also! Love this place that I tried another drink today! The strawberry green tea with white pearls OMG is one of my favorite drink! The flavor is amazing, perfect amount of sugar with 50% sweetness and it's so refreshing!!! I will definitely be back again to try their other drinks!

Yelp
This review is specifically for Sabrina and her staff last night because of their wonderful service. I ordered my drink wrong, I meant to add boba and I really wouldn't be upset if they were to just dumb the boba in my drink which I told them too lol but bc the crème brûlée, it would ruin the whole drink so, Sabrina was kind enough to remake our drinks and still let us keep the ones we ordered wrong. I never felt so bad in my life but this staff deserves an A++++ a raise bc service like this is really hard to find nowadays. & they were ALL so nice about it! So thank you Sabrina and team for your kind gestures.

Yelp
Boba was soft and delightful and wasn't cheap and chewy. The flavors are there and is very authentic and doesn't taste artificial. Service was great! The cashier explained everything thoroughly. All the workers were nice. The venue was minimal and clean. Your typical boba shop.

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Grand Opening BOGO offer is completely bait & switch. Ended up paying full price for what my young son wanted (Thai iced tea w boba). Didn't get free drink. Was told BOGO is only good if we buy black milk tea or yogurt - no boba - in size M. All marketing fliers show drinks w boba in a bunch of different flavors. We mentioned this marketing issue to the staff & they just looked at us like deers in headlights. Didn't even offer to rectify the issue. I know this is new location, but if you're going to advertise something, you should clearly state & follow through on the actual offer. Was very disappointed :(
google avatar

Chieh C.

Yelp
Gong Cha Grand Opening BOGO is a kind of scam. A large cup of black milk tea with boba costed me $8.62, which only came with a small cup of black milk tea without boba as the free one. What a shame. I even tipped the server. I will never go to Gong Cha again. Too disappointed.

Michelle C.

Yelp
I'm a Taiwanese. Unfortunately I need to say that this boba tea place is below standard. I don't recommend it.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
Busy night but the staff were quick with my order of 2 boba teas, and they were good! They tapioca balls just the way I like my balls, not too chewy yet not too soft! Perfecto!
google avatar

Bryce C.

Yelp
Service was very very poor, I overheard one of the employees talk trash about me which really ruined my experience. The drink that I got was highly disappointing, the boba had this really weird aftertaste and the drink constantly was super sweet even though I asked for 75% sweetness. I was really looking forward to trying this place but unfortunately I will not return.

Bo P.

Yelp
I had a mango milk slush, strawberry yogurt, and oolong lime tea with half sweet level so far and I love their drinks!! I am very picky with drinks, especially tea, but their teas are least bitter and have clean taste. I've been to this place a few times since opening in May and I saw the workers' and the store's improvements every time I visit and I give credit for that :)

Rachel E.

Yelp
Very clean & super nice staff! Speedy service and a great pick me up or sweet treat. Glad to have a Gong Cha in town now.

Yelp
Gong Cha has always been one of my favorite places for milk tea/boba, as someone who grew up in Asia for 15 years before we moved to the US, I was sad moving here because not many states have Gong Cha. When we were driving past the Chinatown plaza and saw that a Gong Cha was opening up, I was super excited since the last time I had it was in 2022 in Cerritos CA. I even took PTO to go to the grand opening lol. I'm not sure if it's just something with inventory or because it has just recently opened, but the drinks don't taste like how Gong Cha drinks have tasted my entire life. The milk foam is overly sweet and didn't have the saltiness that Gong Cha's milk foam and other boba milk foam/sea salt foam usually has, which is key since it balances out the sweetness from the drink. Additionally, not sure why the straws changed from last week to today, I don't even know what material these new straws are made out of because they split apart for some reason... Never experienced that before. The bubble waffles are delicious though, and taste like Happy Lemon's bubble waffles but I would say these ones are better on their own (Happy Lemon offers their cheese foam to go with their bubble waffles). Prices are also pretty weird, I paid a lot less for Gong Cha in California than how much I paid here. Anyways, I hope this place continues to get better, since Gong Cha is a very well known chain for boba. The staff is very friendly though and they work quick.

Sarah R.

Yelp
When I walked in the staff was really sweet and greeted me. The store is super clean and beautifully designed. I got the BOGO which was the medium black milk tea without boba (on the signs). It was really delicious and I'll definitely be coming back!
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Gonga Cha was honestly a below average experience. The service was bad, the lady taking my order was very confusing and kept mentioning things that we'd never asked about. The BOGO was also confusing and explained just as poorly. The drinks were actually quite tasty and would honestly be the only reason I come back. During grand opening, they seem to not have any AC and it was very obvious. The staff were sweating and the music was very loud, making it difficult to hear anything being said. All in all, with the poor service and bait and switch BOGO offer, it left a poor taste in my mouth that was barely masked by the drinks.

Sophie A.

Yelp
No bathroom for customers. Employees only they said, first time going to a restaurant that doesn't allow customers the use of facilities.

Joanna N.

Yelp
I love the fresh boba drinks and they are delicious and love the different flavors that they come in. The place is clean and I would recommend this place to others.

Chef C.

Yelp
We went to try this place, it was formally called Volcano Café. Tried the bubble tea, it was pretty good, Boba had a chili softness and was pretty sweet. The thing I liked about this place was they had the traditional Hong Kong bubble waffles. Not a lot of places serve this, very airy and crunchy on the side. Great place for snack on a hunt day.

Dolores O.

Yelp
I like the Green milk tea. I also tried there Pearl milk tea which comes with regular boba already but I usually get crystal boba and one of the male worker looked very serious about putting in the correct order and wasn't gonna change or try to fix my drink. I feel the place is not as friendly like other boba tea shops who will fix your drink if you're not satisfied.

Allyssa C.

Yelp
Great service, the staff was so nice and working hard despite how busy they get, and the drinks were tasty! I'll be back for the wintermelon milk tea :)

Jovan B.

Yelp
I visited Gong Cha expecting an amazing experience, but unfortunately, I was met with attitude from the employees. I didn't enjoy the Lemon Ayu, and when I expressed my dissatisfaction, they attempted to charge me for a drink that didn't meet my expectations. Despite this, I decided to give Gong Cha another chance and returned a few weeks later. To my surprise, I overheard an employee discussing how poorly they are treated, with the owner shaming the employee in front of others. This was a complete shock to me, as I've never heard an owner speak such harmful words. I will never return to Gong Cha or support a business where employees are treated so poorly. Wishing volcano was back. I recommend the other boba shops " The sweet spot" and " No.1boba" in china town.

Brian A.

Yelp
Great service and the people working there were bery chill. They also were able to appropriately check and were very nice about our order modifications

Marian Nicole C.

Yelp
The crew is really nice!!!! Special mention to Sabrina she's amazing!!!!!! The staff was friendly! They have really good service!!!!!!!10000/10

Ryan A.

Yelp
Was in the area looking for a good drink and stumbled upon the grand opening for this place. The workers greeted me when I came in, even though it was extremely busy. The place is really clean and simple with a public bathroom. I ordered a Creme Brulee Brown Sugar Milk Tea: Regular Ice and Sweetness with Boba. I paid a solid 9ish dollars for one of their premium drinks and was surprised on how good it was. I was skeptical but the drink was sweet and creamy. Looking forward to trying more drinks!
