The 38 Best Restaurants in Toronto, Canada | Eater

"Chef Michael Lam and Eric Chow threw the basic tenets of ice cream out the window when they opened Good Behaviour, creating dozens of eclectic flavors (cacio e pepe, mala chocolate orange, mango mojito). Lam brings culinary know-how from working in Michelin-starred restaurants in Australia and New York, while Chow provides business acumen and front-of-house savvy. Since it’s not always ice cream weather in Toronto, Good Behaviour also offers Dagwood-style subs that can warm even the coldest of souls, like smoked beef brisket (topped with smoked gouda, caramelized onion, and horseradish-beef fat vinaigrette) and spicy meatballs (a medley of veal, pork, and beef, with herby basil pesto mayo and lip-sizzling chile oil). Breakfast sandwiches here also combat the workday blues with sun salutations like creamy tamago egg salad or classic sausage, egg, and cheese. Best for: GB has the best family deal in town, and it’s perfect for summer picnics. For $39 Canadian you get any two subs, two drinks, and two sides (I suggest potato salad and coleslaw)." - Tiffany Leigh

I finally got around to trying Good Behaviour Ice Cream after hearing so many people talk about it. Overall, it was a good experience, but honestly, I didn’t find anything that really stood out as special or unforgettable. First off, the location is great — super easy to get to, and the outdoor seating area is such a nice touch, especially in the summer. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or just enjoy a cone on a warm evening. The vibe is fun and welcoming, and it definitely has that local neighborhood feel that makes you want to support them. They have a pretty big variety of flavors, which I always appreciate. There’s something for everyone, and it’s clear they put effort into offering interesting options beyond the usual basics. That said, while the flavors were good, none of them really wowed me or made me feel like I had discovered something amazing. When you’re paying a premium price for ice cream, you expect that extra punch — whether it’s ultra-creamy texture, bold and unique flavors, or just something memorable that makes you crave it again. For me, Good Behaviour just didn’t quite hit that mark. Everything tasted fine, but nothing really blew me away. That being said, I still enjoyed my visit. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the overall experience was pleasant. I’d definitely go back if I’m nearby or already in the area, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way or make a special trip just for this ice cream. All in all, it’s a solid spot, especially if you’re looking for a fun summer hangout or want to try a few new flavors. Just don’t go in expecting to be completely blown away, and you’ll have a good time.

Google
Sooooo good! Took an Uber down from Richmond Hill to walk around this neighborhood and visit some breweries, and stopped here first for lunch. Couldn’t have been more happy with this place! Tried both the ice cream and the sandwiches. Tiramisu ice cream delivered and tastes just like eating Tiramisu. And the Classic cold sub was exactly what I hoped for. Solid Italian sub. Generous portion. My husband got the hot meatball sub and is still talking about how good it was, especially the pesto mayo. They are a well-oiled machine here. Service was friendly, but really efficient. Clearly know what they are doing. Would definitely come back here and would recommend. Thank you so much!

Google
Great first experience. I debated between the hot and cold but ultimately decided on the hot meatball sub and was delicious. Coming from an Italian, im typically picky about the tomato sauce and taste of the meatballs but wasn't disappointed. Their ice cream flavours are unique and would highly recommend trying. Will be back!

Google
For me, the ice cream definitely outshines the sandwiches here. The Torta della Nonna is easily one of my favourite ice cream flavours there. It is rich, balanced, and just so good. I also tried the coffee crème brûlée, which was delicious as well, though a touch on the sweeter side. The other flavours like Dragon Poop, cookies and crème, s’mores, and birthday cake didn’t blow me away but they have a good variety. Something for everyone!

Google
Have tried twice this week, both times pickup to have at home. No seating except a few benches outside, cute order window and inside some frozen (biscuits, pizza, icecream, dumplings) and pantry items such as chili sauces, chips. Star of the show is their sub sandwiches. Soft sesame roll (not crusty-hard-rip-off-the-roof-of/your-mouth bread) stuffed with freshest ingredients for the hot and cold subs. Classic Italian cured meat sub 10/10, Caprese 10/10, Spicy Meatball 11/10, Pork Shoulder 11/10. The juicy meatballs: combination of pork, veal and beef, are cooked till tender and meaty, not full of breadcrumbs or mealy textured. The pork shoulder with collard greens and rapini, have amazing flavour. All hot sandwiches come topped with melted provolone cheese. Each bite is like a big warm hug and it loves you back! Good value too for the size and quality. Will be back to try their other sandwiches. For dessert, they make wonderful ice cream in lots of drool-worthy flavours. Sold in takeaway pints or by the scoop in cups or cones. So happy to have Good Behaviour so close in my neighbourhood. I can’t wait to go back! One of the best sandwich spots in Toronto!

Google
“The sub was fresh and filling. The bread was soft yet held everything together nicely. The veggies were crisp, and the meat was well-seasoned. Great portion size and totally worth the price!” Don’t forget to try the ice creams. Highly recommended

Stopped by Good Behaviour for some treats. I prefer this spot over the Queen Street location as it has a more spacious outdoor hangout area to enjoy their offerings with friends. The service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed scoops of ice cream during our visit. I had the strawberry cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious, especially on a hot day. They also offer subs and other ice cream treats. Overall, a great place to spend time, eat ice cream, and relax for the summer.

Google
I've been to this good behaviour location a few times. The ice cream here is wonderful and today's visit was amazing yet again. June 2024 flavour of the month is tea and biscuits and it is absolutely fantastic. I love the strong tea flavour and the tea biscuits they have in here have somehow retained their crunchiness while working so well with the tea. On the ridiculously hot day in TO, this little scoop hit the spot! I am definitely coming back before the flavour changes. July 2024 update: oh my goodness I love afternoon tea. This is so addictive. The orange zest, tea flavour and crunchy tea biscuits are so, so good! Perfect for a hot, humid day. Please keep this around for the summer! Get out there and give this one a try!

Yelp
This is my second review for this place as I can't say enough good things about it. They started doing their breakfast sandwiches at this location about 2 weeks ago and I decided to come in today for some. The service was awesome and everyone there working seemed to be in such great spirits. We ate four of the sandwiches today and THEY ALL HIT. Please come here and support them. They are great people and great food. Ice cream is bomb too.

Yelp
Been on my to try list for a while and did not disappoint. Located on a side street. Staff were very nice and order was done quickly. Had the classic sandwich which is basically the size of a sub. It was excellent and filling. Will definitely be back to try some other items.

Yelp
Good Behaviour has a sandwich menu which I would love to explore at some point, but up until now, I've only ever had their ice-cream so this review will only focus on their ice-cream selection. I love their selection of ice-creams - there is so much variety and creativity in their flavors such as Vietnamese Coffee, Black Sesame, HK Milk Tea, to name only a few. Besides pints, they also have a scoop selection of 8 flavour options each day (which I think is rotating). Occasionally, I like to get a scoop just to try other flavours without having to buy the whole pint. Their social media is also worth following if you like to try new and/or limited flavours. For the Lunar New Year, they currently have a flavour called Lucky Rabbit which is a mix of white rabbit candy and lucky new year candy. I'm always sold on novelty when nostalgic flavours are remade to be as just as delicious as I remember and with a creative twist

Yelp
the ice cream is really good quality but is pretty pricey. it is definitely worth it to try it! service is quick and nice location, very cozy. the flavours are a great rotation and I look forward to sales.

Yelp
I have been craving a meatball sub for some time! Hearty and filling! I have been seeing good behaviour all over instagram from other food bloggers and knew I needed to see what the hype was all about. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I can't wait to go back and try the ice cream! Espresso martini??? Count me in! I also tried one of their daily soups.. I believe it was a curry cauliflower = a solid 10/10!

Yelp
Spotted this place while walking North from the Dufferin Mall. Its North West of Dufferin and Dupont. Kind of a hidden gem, its not really in a restauraunt area or commercial area, but seems to be surrounded by industrial buildings. It's mainly setup as a take-out area but they have some picnic tables out front and a small seating area within. They have alot of freshly made deli sandwiches, but as it was the heat of winter I opted for the ice cream. You can get it in a cup or cone like most places, or pint, but they have a rotating list of flavors so make sure you check their website, IG or call them to confirm your favorite is still there! I opted for the Ice Cream Donut, basically a filled donut, with a scoop of ice cream within, and then its heat pressed to seal the donut within, heated the donut but keeping the ice cream inside cool. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
After seeing a photo of one of their submarine sandwiches on Instagram a few months ago, I knew I absolutely had to try it out for myself. I finally got around to ordering one of their classic combos, which came with a side and a drink. Firstly, the size of the submarine is HUGE!!!! Subway could never. It's also absolutely delicious and super super filling. Half a sandwich makes me feel stuffed because of how many toppings are inside. I also ordered a side of potato salad, which was delicious!!! I don't typically like potato salads that much, but this one was really good. I will absolutely be ordering from here again!

Yelp
This review is similar to a recent Yelp elite experience. I ordered a submarine sandwich, so there are more details about it here. Yesterday, I was excited to drop by after work and visit Good Behaviour. Driving over here during rush hour was shockingly decent, likely because I avoided taking any highway from Markham. There was plenty of street parking in a fairly residential part of Toronto. I parked steps away from the business and walked over. There were a family of three people enjoying their ice cream in front of the store. I got there at around 5:30 pm. I couldn't wait to join in. I had the option of getting a donut stuffed with ice cream or two scoops of ice cream in a cone. I took a look at how yummy the waffle cones looked in the display case and knew that I needed one. I love that there are sorbet options. I mixed things up by getting one scoop of sorbet and one scoop of ice cream. I got these flavours: - Mango mojito sorbet - Tiramisu ice cream I had a mini debate whether I wanted tiramisu or cinnamon toast cereal. One of the staff members recommended the former, which was his favourite. Since I am a tiramisu fanatic, I took his recommendation and went with it. Another staff member did the scooping. He asked whether I wanted the sorbet or ice cream as the bottom scoop in the cone. I loved how much attention to detail he had. I went with the tiramisu on the bottom because it was likely heavier than the sorbet. This place has cone holders. I appreciated that detail, too. I always find it awkward to be handed an ice cream cone as I'm doing something else, such as pulling my wallet out to pay for my purchase. Although I was happily looking at al the toppings, I avoided getting them because I wanted to enjoy my frozen desserts as they were. I looked at the menu and saw submarine sandwiches. I tend to get groceries and takeout on Wednesday nights. My original thought was to order dinner along Bloor Street West. I took one look at the ingredients in the classic sub and knew that I had to have it. The man who served me my ice cream cone was kind to show me with his hands how large the sandwich was. Perfect! He ended up preparing my sandwich. He asked for my name to be safe and let me know that he'd work on it. I paid with a debit card. The place accepts credit and debit cards only. It uses Square for all transactions. I like Square because I can get my receipt texted to me. Less paper. All good! I sat outside on one of the three benches. One was already being occupied, but the other two were free. I sat staring at the large window and watched the man work on my sandwich as I consumed my sorbet-ice cream cone. The mango mojito sorbet was so good. It felt like a booze-free drink, but it sorbet format and any hangover. It was creamy and delightfully refreshing. The mango flavour was perfect. It wasn't an overly sweet sorbet, which I appreciated. I tasted hints of mint. So good and different. Moments later, the man preparing my sub asked how my dessert was. I absolutely loved what I was enjoying so far. I was perhaps fifteen feet away from him and he showed me a cross-section of my sub. It looked huge and pretty from afar. I immediately salivated. I slowly made my way up to the window. He put my sub in a paper bag and hoped that I'd enjoy it. I thanked him for all his help and happily headed to my car. I consumed the rest of my sorbet-ice cream cone in the car. The tiramisu was equally as excellent as the sorbet. It was the best tiramisu ice cream that I have ever had in my life. The flavours were so bold and rich. I have missed frozen custard stateside. This ice cream had that rich consistency that I have been longing for 1.5 years. I absolutely enjoyed what I was eating. I normally don't think much of the cone, but the waffle cone was scrumptious. It wasn't sweet. It was crunchy. It was so good that I was genuinely sad when I ate the entire thing. I had my sub when I got home. It was well past 8 pm when I chowed down. My classic sub wanted to bust out of the paper keeping everything intact. It looked beautiful. It was stuffed with so much goodness. Soppressata. Genoa salami. Mortadella. Prosciutto di parma. Prosciutto cotto. Provolone. Giardiniera. Iceberg lettuce. Such an unexpected spelling bee for me, except for the last one! This sub was delicious. The flavours worked so well. Every bite was so good that I easily ate the whole thing. I haven't had anything quite like it for years. I am craving trying the rest of the subs on the menu. My tummy was so happy. This experience was special and enjoyable. I want to get pints of ice cream and sorbet, too. I am such a fan of Good Behaviour that I will return for more. (361)

Yelp
The owners are super friendly and I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in. I'd seen photos of the submarine sandwiches a few times and they looked so appetizing. Since I was already at the store we ordered a spicy Italian sub to share. This submarine sandwich is filled with spicy capicollo, genoa salami, soppressata (Italian dry salami), provolone, calabrian chili spread, spicy giardiniera (pickled vegetable relish), and arugula. It comes with tomato, red onion, mayo and sub dressing. I didn't think that half a sub would be so filling but it was. I enjoyed the slight spice in the sub and all the flavours went so well together. We did find that the dressing leaks as you eat the sub so be careful you don't get any of it on yourself, have a napkin close by. On the menu there is a lunch combo with half a sub, bag of Miss Vickie's chips or potato salad or coleslaw and a canned pop or water if you don't think you'd be able to finish a whole submarine sandwich. There's a few benches outside to wait for your order or enjoy your food on. I'd love to try the moose tracks ice cream next time.

Yelp
3.5 Came here with my siblings and got my brother a double scoop. We were lucky that we came at that time as there was only one person in line and when we started to order, a small line formed right behind us. The employee very friendly and patient while we decided on what to order as there were so many cool choices to pick from. Ice cream wise, it tasted good but not something that I would necessarily go out of my way to get unless I was in the area. The reason why I gave this a 3.5 was because while we were ordering, we saw numerous flies flying into the store and landing on the exposed ingredients. The open window is indeed a neat concept but not a good idea from a health and food safety standpoint. I hope something can be done to prevent this from happening again.

Yelp
To summarize, Good Behaviour Ice Cream in a few key words: delicious, high quality, amazing, attention to detail. I've been there twice and have tried several of their flavours. They use natural ingredients and real fruit pieces like pineapple (for pina colada) and strawberry (for strawberry cheesecake.  The strawberry cheesecake has actual cheesecake in it baked by them! Talk about quality! They serve ice cream and sorbet in a cone or cup. Starting 2021-06-25 at their Christie location, they launched "ice cream donuts", a scoop or ice cream inside a donut and heated in something that looks like a waffle maker. Not only is the ice cream delicious, the donut is also delicious and filling! These cost $6.75. I got the ice cream donut with Chocolate Moose Tracks. They put chopped peanuts on top. Warning, it will start melting in 24C temp after about 3 mins. They currently have 13 flavours to choose from. Their 2 sorbet flavours are vegan. They have "popups" at Christie and Kensington that will run through the summer. This Westmoreland location is the permanent location. They also sell 9" subs at this location, priced 11 to $14 and sides for $3. Their ice cream pints cost $12. There is a lunch special (Tue-Fri 11:00-14:00) consisting of a half sub, a side, and pop/water, for $9. There are 3 benches to sit outdoors. There is easy listening radio music and even a dog water bowl. They only accept credit and debit, no cash. There is no free WiFi. The place is wheelchair accessible.  There are no customer washrooms. Review 2021-049 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

Yelp
Got Torta Della Nonna ice cream: Pine nuts, shortbread, lemon & ricotta. It was good - the shortbread was still crispy, which was amazing & spoke to the freshness of the ice cream. The flavours were blended well together & balanced They have donut ice cream sandwiches as a summer seasonal item

Yelp
When I was a kid, I'd get small rewards for being good. Get good grades? Here's a prize for you! Helped mom cook or dad wash the car? Here's a small treat! And without fail, my requested treats always involved ice cream. I loooove ice cream. Which leads me to Good Behaviour. Smooth, not overly sweet, good chunks, and flavours that are distinct. Oh, and those toppings are loaded up and generous and accentuate the flavours even more. Favourite one was easily the tiramisu. But really, everything is great given how the flavours pop. The kid in me definitely thinks Good Behaviour is a worthy reward for good behaviour.

Yelp
I plan to go there again sometime soon. They have some amazing sandwiches. I am anticipating my next visit. This review is based off already knowing they will excell in providing me with a tasty meal.

Yelp
Newly opened ice cream pop up here for the next 5 months. They have an interesting assortment of flavours that I'm sure rotates daily. You can also grab pints to go. We were able to try out a couple flavours - strawberry cheesecake, tiramisu, honey nut cereal and afternoon tea. Afternoon tea was earl grey, lemon scone and I believe orange peel. The strawberry cheesecake also had a lemony taste to it as well. Really enjoyed the tiramisu as you could actually taste coffee with it. Would describe honey nut cereal as the lightest flavour. Love how they give you wooden spoons. They offer waffle cones or regular cups

Yelp
So excited when I found out this new ice cream shop offers ice cream doughnut sandwich! I got the HK Milk tea (such strong flavours) and the lemon +shortbread cookies icecream, both in doughnut sandwiches. It was very yummy, great combinations. If you eat it too slow the doughnut soak up the melted icecream. One Sammie is actually alot for me. Great for sharing too (they cut in half). Will be back for their strong, delicious icecream!

Yelp
Good Behaviour creates small batch ice creams where they currently now have a brick and mortar ice cream shop around Christie subway station. They also are currently serving their ice cream at The Social Blend near Yonge/Eglinton. Their pints can be purchased at several locations such as Boxcar Social and McEwan food's. I came to know about Good Behaviour ice cream earlier this year through their Instagram. During that time, they did not have a physical store as of yet and had limited pick up times on Saturday at Sara or Ricardo's. I can't speak about their physical stores as I have yet to go to one! I have purchased a few pints for pickup a few months ago when the first started out. I remember it was such a struggle trying to get that HK milk tea ice cream even with the early insider access code for their website! The owners and staff were extremely friendly during my pickups. They are quite active on social media as well and respond quite quickly. The other flavour that I have tried is the afternoon tea ice cream. Definitely a favourite as it had chunks of scone and candied orange peels in an earl grey ice cream with poppyseeds. A flavour explosion in every bite! Do go check out Good Behaviour ice cream whether it be at their physical stores selling ice cream or even if you get a pint elsewhere. You won't regret it. Can't wait to make a trip to their Christie store soon!

Yelp
Service: very friendly staff. Food Ice cream: Really interesting flavours (see pictures). I ordered: Peach cobbler (5 stars) - the peaches inside looked very fresh, almost like jam. Pina colada (4.5 stars) - very rich flavour. My dad ordered a single scoop of peach cobbler. For a single scoop on waffle cone it came to just over $7. Not sure if I would came back for ice cream, but did see some really good looking submarine sandwiches which I want to try out.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing ice cream - flavours are spot on! I would have given this place a full 5 stars but they don't give out samples which sucks - you really have to rely on the staff's descriptions of the flavours and trust your guts! I ended up getting toasted coconut and mango mojito - felt like I was eating the real things. Average prices. Would recommend this place!

Yelp
A friend told me that this place has gluten free bread and so I was eager to try them because I had been craving a sub but gluten and me don't mix and Subway's gluten free bread is very small. I called to confirm that they had gf bread in stock and they did. The gentleman who answered the phone was very pleasant to speak with. So I made my way down to pick up a sub. I had heard of this place before and I was looking forward to trying it out. Their shop is cute, and they also serve ice cream. The two guys at the shop were very welcoming and kind. I ordered The Classic on GF bread. It came out to $20 which I thought was kind of steep. When I arrived home and dove into my sub, it was tightly packaged but there was no real way of eating it without loosening the wrapper. When I did this however, the shredded lettuce spilled out leaving barely any lettuce inside the sub. I kept having to put lettuce shreds inside the sub. Overall the sub was overwhelmed with lettuce and underwhelming in flavour. Nothing to rave about especially for $20, you can get more bang for your buck at other places in the area and not be bombarded with shredded lettuce. The flavour was okay, at the end I was left with extra bread. My friend ordered the mushroom hot sandwich which she told me was tasty but nothing special for the price. I know subs can be messy to eat, I've eaten at a few other sub places in the city, but it lacked flavour and in my opinion the way the subs are made is where the problem lies. With already being a big sub and copious amounts of shredded lettuce, I wasn't getting a complete bite of everything. Some bites were just lettuce, other bites were the deli meat and few bites were of the whole sub with all the ingredients. I wouldn't order a sub from them again as there's other places in the city delivering on flavour and better sub formation but I'll return to try their ice cream and hope that doesn't disappoint as well. I'm also a bit confused as to other posts reviewers have shared. Some photos have subs where there is a nice layer of greens actually inside the sandwich and not a huge amount of it leaking from the side, so whatever was done beforehand when assembling the subs could be revisited

Yelp
I loved this place when it was a pop up on Christie at Pendrith. However, since becoming a storefront on its own, I find it's good but not notable. A little underwhelming. Ice cream flavours try a little too hard, but if I was walking by and it was a cool summer day, I would stop in. The subs are hyped up (by the company itself) but they didn't stand up to the hype. Bread wasn't very good and prices were very high. The wheelchair button didn't work, and workers didn't help me open the door (a customer ended up helping me out), so definitely not an accessible space. The family deal for 2 is pretty good.

Yelp
I love this neighbourhood sandwich and ice cream shop. So convenient to grab a bite to eat or when you're going on walks and wanting to reward yourself with some unique ice cream flavours. We tried the beef brisket sandwich and classic sandwich. Beef brisket was okay and if you aren't a fan of strong tasting cheese, I would steer away from this and try a different sandwich. The classic sandwich was delicious and satisfied my cravings along with the potato salad. The ice cream donut is a 2 for 1 when craving for a donut and an ice cream. Delicioussssss!!! @imsuchafatass

Yelp
4/5 for the ice cream donut! The owner recommended the torta della nonna flavour, which has lemon, pine nuts, almond, ricotta cheese, and shortcrust. I can see why it is one of their popular flavours! It was so creamy and yet light because of the citrus. Perfect flavour to be paired with the donut as it was not heavy at all. The space itself was cute too with two benches on the outside, and there is also a small park at the end of the block. The neighbourhood itself is still a work in process with not much around.

Yelp
Just happened to find them on Yelp when I was in the area! I've been seeing them on IG a lot so I was super excited to try it! Got the ice cream donut with cinnamon toast & milk ice cream. I love the combination together! Taste amazing and exactly what you would imagine. I love love love their ice cream. It was creamy, rich and loaded with flavour. Definitely would recommend and I'm def coming back to try other ice cream flavours!

Yelp
Came here to try the donut ice cream as well as their waffle cones! I paired HK milk tea ice cream with the donut & cinnamon toast cereal with the waffle cone. The flavours of both the ice cream are exactly what you'd expect. The ice cream is of good quality and quite creamy. I'm so glad I found this place because I'm definitely adding it to my list of go-to ice cream places!! I do prefer the waffle cones more than the donut solely because the ice cream flavours don't get muted by the donut. Anyways, they also serve some delicious looking subs. I can't wait to try that next!!!!!

Yelp
The location of this shop is almost like you have to know it to look for it or one of those you stumble upon when taking detours. I love how it's a simple shop with an entrance for you to grab a tub or just walk by with a HUGE take out window. I swung by on a weeknight evening, there were two people waiting for their subs (yes! they don't just serve ice cream!). When I was there, they had their donuts as well as their waffle comes. I've been advised that their donuts usually sell out, but maybe it's a weeknight and traffic wasn't as high. Although it was tempting to try the donut, knowing myself as a messy burger eater, I went for the cleaner option of a cone. They had thirteen flavours to choose from. THIRTEEN!! It was definitely a tough decision since everything was so attractive! They had s'mores, HK milk tea, Madagascar vanilla, Tiramisu, strawberry cheesecake, torta della nonna, lavender earl grey, mango mojito sorbet, chocolate moose track, cinnamon toast cereal, pina colada, passionfruit sorbet and birthday cake! The two flavours I ended up choosing was strawberry cheesecake and lavender earl grey. I absolutely love how there's huge chunks of graham cookie in the icecream. It's just not the same without the cookie and they had many huge pieces too. The lavender earl grey was also very delicious and different from other places that attempted this flavour. Waffle cone was fresh and perfect, some places makes it too thick which I don't like. I'm definitely coming back for more strawberry cheesecake and try out their other flavours!

Yelp
If you haven't try the newest addition to Toronto ice cream shop that is custard-based; What are you waiting for?! Head down to Good Behaviour Ice cream at342 Westmoreland Street (permanent location) to try their silky and luscious ice cream We got double-scoop of HK Milk Tea & Tiramisu on a cone (Left), Lavender Earl Grey & Chocolate Moose Tracks (Center), and Pina Colada on a cone (Right). Gotta try few flavours, because its hard to choose lol These ice cream are very rich, creamy, and have strong flavours. Topped with crumbs, it gives a nice crunchy-creamy contrast which truly elevate the experience. Unfortunately, we are unable to score the donuts ice cream, but we will back for it! This place is truly a hidden gem. A spot for you who crave for a good ice cream! Price is reasonable, the owner is so friendly as well as the staffs! We can't wait to come back soon.

Yelp
BIG SANDWICHES. I was unprepared for how big and thick these were. Got the Spicy Italian and it was very satisfying. Filled with a generous amount deli meat, cheese, arugula, other veggies and some kind of creamy Chilli sauce? Staff were also super friendly and welcoming. They were really busy but it was only a 5 min wait for the sandwich

Yelp
Full disclosure: I can't speak to the experience of going to Good Behaviour's brick and mortar ice cream shop yet, but I can definitely speak to the experience of purchasing and tasting their ice creams. Before Good Behaviour opened up shoppe, they started off as (and still operate) as an online retailer where you can purchase ice cream pints for pickup at designated locations. It used to be that you had to sign in to their website right at noon on a Wednesday (or a bit earlier for "insiders" if you signed up by email) to avoid the real potential that GB would sell out of ice cream. However GB now operates 7 days a week, where you can either head to the shoppe for scoops, or preorder pints the day before to ensure your desired ice cream flavours are on hand for pickup the next day. They still offer Saturday pick up in Markham. This last option was how I came to try GB's delicious ice cream. I love how creamy their ice cream is, with robust flavours in unique flavour combinations such as Hong Kong milk tea, Caramel macchiato, Afternoon Tea (earl grey base), and Torta dela Nonna (a delicious ice cream with notes of amaretto cookies and lemon). I ordered the caramel macchiato, which has a strong coffee flavour yet creamy richness to it. I loved the HK milk tea, which was the perfect iteration of the drink in ice cream form. Torta dela Nonna is a bit sweeter than I'd prefer it was, but has lovely amaretto cookie bits. Every pint came with a little ziplock baggy of a crunchy sweet topping to sprinkle on top. Because of the strong flavours, the HK and macchiato flavours are not ice creams that I personally would eat in huge quantities in one sitting (especially late at night lest the caffeine prevents me from sleeping), but a little goes a long way. Although $12 a pint is a bit more than I'd normally expect to pay for ice cream, I would certainly come back again and again for GB's rich, creamy and full flavoured ice creams. Looking forward to checking out their new store which has more flavours like Afternoon Tea (which has candied orange and lemon scone bits) and Honey Nut Cereal.

Yelp
When I arrived at this ice cream store I was pleasantly surprised. The design of the store was simple, modern, and clean. I was greeted by a friendly staff member, while I admired the simple decor. I ordered a scoop of Hong Kong tea and Madagascar vanilla, both of which I thought were rich, creamy and was satisfied with every lick and spoonful that I took from their large waffle cone. The ice cream tasted exactly like a nice deep Hong Kong milk tea, they nailed the flavour! Vanilla is what it is, but also very tasty here. The two of these flavours really complimented each other. This place knows their ice cream. On top of it all the portion size was quite large, I wasn't able to get through the vanilla to eat it all, they are quite generous with their scoops! I was also surprised when I saw their menu, they had some vegan options, and I think I'm going to try the mango passion fruit for next time. The menu gives you the legend on the top so you can tell which options are gluten free, but free and vegan. There is seating right in front of the store, and the street parking is easily accessible. They take debit and credit, however cash is not accepted here. I'm really looking forward to my visit!

Yelp
I was craving ice-cream in Toronto and walked past Good Behaviour. I've seen pictures of this spot all over social media and knew I had to give it a try. Let's just say I was NOT disappointed! I tried the double scoop (aka the "better") of HK Milk Tea and Passionfruit. The passionfruit I think is vegan. My favourite is definitely the passionfruit. If I lived closeby, I would've bought 10 pints of it to take home! It was so perfectly tangy, not too sour or sweet and super flavourful. The HK Milk Tea was so creamy and delicious and topped with this crunchy topping. I wish there was a LITTLE bit more tea flavour in the HK Milk Tea but I'd still get it again! I can't wait to revisit this place and try out their other flavours.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about good behaviour - everyone that works there always has the biggest smile on their faces and extremely hospitable! Not only do they serve up some amazing ice cream, they also can whip up a damn good sandwich! The cold cut and meatball sandwich are honestly loaded with flavour and contents that will leave your stomach satisfied for sure! As for ice creams the mango sorbet is top tier and probably the best mango sorbet I've ever had! Go check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Some of the best ice cream in the city. Good Behaviour serves custard-based ice cream (more egg yolk and less overrun = creamier and richer product), and their slate of unique flavours amplify the impeccable custard base on their ice creams. I've tried HK Milk Tea, Tiramisu, Passionfruit Sorbet, Torta Della Nonna and Earl Grey and they absolutely nail the essence of all the flavours. Not only is the ice cream super creamy and smooth, but (most importantly) it is perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I've also tried the donut ice cream, which is a scoop of ice cream sandwiched in a donut, brushed with a sweet glaze and topped with crunchy cereal-like crumbs, and it is also amazing. The owners and staff are also super friendly and I've had the pleasure of interacting with them every single time I go. Personally, I really enjoyed hearing the process, story and methodology behind the ice cream from the people that make GB so great.

Yelp
I live a few blocks north of their Christie collab w/ Morellina's and since their limited release drops (shoutout to Amy Y for sharing) I've been thinking about this place. So far I've tried their torta della nonna, milk tea and strawberry cheesecake ice creams. They are creamy, jam packed with additions and some even have a sprinkling of the good stuff...not crack but it may as well be. The flavours listed are prominent while not being too sweet. I've brought a few friends here for post dinner dessert after dining in Koreatown and they really enjoyed their ice cream too. I haven't tried their ice cream donuts but I suspect that without a proper spot to sit and enjoy it, the donut may be melting very quickly or your mouth & brain will be frozen from eating it too quickly :P I'd be very interested in trying their cinnamon toast and milk flavour next. Hope everyone's been on their best behaviour, if not, just go with the next best thing - Good Behaviour!

Yelp
Small takeout sandwich and ice cream shop in an unassuming area, but nonetheless - delicious! Let's start with the ice cream - it's creamy and the flavours are subtle. I tried the torta del nonna and peach cobbler flavours. The torta del nonna tasted similar to a lemon shortbread. The peach cobbler flavor was very subtle and I was looking for more peach flavor. The real winner at good behavior is their submarine sandwiches. They are packed with ingredients and their giardinera spread was truly unique and delicious. I loved the bread to ingredient ratio. I also picked up a special ice cream box that they had for the summer which included flavors like passion fruit, piña colada, s'mores, and lavender earl gray. My favourite of the bunch was pina colada and passion fruit. Highly recommend checking them out!

Yelp
Awesome flavours and super creamy! The afternoon tea was my favourite, it was fragrant. I would def come back for other flavours since the ice cream was really creamy and smooth.

Yelp
I found this place on Tiktok and a week later, I made it down here. Not close to where I live but most definitely worth the drive. The donut + ice cream combo is so delicious! Wasn't overly sweet and just the right size. I recommend the torta della noma or strawberry cheesecake ice cream in a donut. The guy serving me was unbelievably friendly and personable. Even gave me a recommendation which I tried. Needless to say, we ate our ice cream + donut sandwich right away. Their donuts are made fresh daily so you don't have to worry about stale donuts. They even give you wet ones to wipe your hands after since this is a treat that obviously gets messy and sticky to eat. I'll most definitely be back!

Yelp
A million times yes! Don't get me wrong- the 1 star dock has absolutely nothing to do with the ice cream. It's just me being salty that the location is just so far from downtown- it's so good i wish it was closer!! Experience: The location is not too far away from the Christie subway station (maybe 5 ish min walk?). The person serving was super knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. When you have flavors like GB, you wish you could taste test to find your ultimate fave but I guess this just gives me more reason to come back. Flavors: 1. Cinnamon Toast Cereal - if you know me, you know how much i love cereal milk. Momofuku has my favorite until it stopped serving it (don't get me started). This hits the spot for actual cereal milk ice cream with that cinnamon toast crunch (i say this because i've been shafted a few times with claimed- cereal milk ice cream that didn't taste anything like cereal milk!!) 2. Strawberry Cheesecake- a GREAT choice if you love cheesecake. They make their own compote and the filling of the little cheesecake crunches were 200% in there. 3. HK Milk Tea- a slam dunk flavor. If you like milk tea, read no more and get this 4. Torta Della Nonna - an interesting flavor which I think i'd get again. I can't really describe it but it tasted a little bit yogurt-y to me? Very refreshing Honestly, you can't go wrong with any flavors here. Until ice cream shops open for taste tests, you can safely reassure yourself that whatever flavor you choose here is bound to be delicious. P.S. They're doing a pop up at A-OK cafe this month (?) so stop by there as you shop for Aritzia lol!!

Yelp
Ma little confusing about what comes in scoops and what doesn't so we bought three pints. Gingerbread cookie was pretty good and it actually tasted like ginger. As advertised. The peanut butter pie was amazing, with creamy buttery pieces of pie crust and crunchy peanuts. My favourite was the bourbon butter pecan. So so good I had to slow myself down. I would recommend this place if you want an adult ice cream for the end of a meal. It's special but not so artisanal it tastes like flowers.

Yelp
Cute little ice cream shop. When I visited, they had been open only 6 days. It's randomly placed on a residential street just off of a commercial street. I got a mango monitor mint sorbet. It was soooo good. The little mint pieces in the ice cream were refreshing. My friend got the cinnamon toast crunch one. It actually tastes like it. Very good choice as well. I hope they open more locations close to me so that I can regularly visit there.

Yelp
Incredibly delicious homemade ice cream in all sorts of unique and homey flavours and the MOST delicious subs!! You can tell that a lot of thought went into the sandwiches and ice cream flavours - they're absolutely perfect!

Yelp
Finally found a good sandwich for a reasonable price. This place is very popular as an ice cream shop but it also serves some of the best sandwiches I've had in Toronto. Bread not to thick and chewy, good balance of meat and nice hit of acidity from the dressing. Take it to a park nearby and enjoy. The owners seem to really enjoy what they are doing and engaged with every customer. Nice addition to the Geary street businesses.

Yelp
Awesome Ice Cream! The staff selected Mango and Chocolate ice cream for me. I tasted the ice cream and I have to admit it's better than the I cream store I had at Queen st west or the famous one on Ossington ave. It's too bad the place is in a secluded area and little unknown to vast majority of the population. I love their ice cream and hope they expand to a more popular area and strive. I would recommend the business and would go back if I am in the area!

Yelp
the ice cream, donut, and toppings all came together to build the perfect summer treat! talk about creamy, soft and crunchy! no but this was actually soso good you DONUT wanna sleep on it

Yelp
Interesting flavours, very creamy ice cream, friendly staff. The afternoon tea was fantastic, it has little biscuits in it. The torta della nonna was good, but at bit too sweet for my personal taste. Amusingly enough it does taste like the lemon cakes and cookies that my husband's italian nonna makes. If you like gelato that is on the creamier & sweeter side, definitely check this place out.

Yelp
The yorkville location is like a tale of two cities. The ice cream quality and selections is as good as all of the hype you have been seeing lately. The hot and cold sandwiches punched way below their weight class. What a disappointment. Let's just say we will be returning for ice cream for sure, but pass on the sandwiches as there are way better choices in the area.

Yelp
Good Behaviour is really yummy ice cream. I first tried them as a pop-up, so good to see they have their own place. I had the Torta Della Nona, and it had a nice lemon taste. I also love tea-based flavours so had the Lavender Earl Grey, which didn't disappoint. The woman serving the ice cream was also friendly and funny. When she asked me whether I wanted the toppings, I said of course!!!, and she talked about how surprised she was that some people get the ice cream plain. No judgement, just two people bonding over our love of sweets. Anyway, I would definitely recommend Good Behaviour as a great treat!

Yelp
Super friendly staff with great selection of flavours! I had the cinnamon toast crunch and it was amazing.

Yelp
Amazing and unique ice cream. We had honey nut cereal and strawberry cheesecake. Love that they top the scoops with crunchy bits that go with your flavour. My only constructive bit of feedback is that they should figure out a way to speed up a little. There were only about 6 people ahead of me, and it was very slow.
