I live in SW and am thrilled to have this new place in our neighborhood! We had dinner on a weekday after work at Good Company and had a great experience! The food was delicious, and the staff was so helpful and friendly! I am vegan, and they accommodated my diet, which was very kind of them! They also have vegan pastries in rotation, and I am so looking forward to trying them on the weekend 🤩

Waterfront needed this place so badly. Great atmosphere, delicious food, fair prices. I love to work from there and the internet is good. My favorite from what I have gotten has been the soup of the day, which it was tomato soup and a grilled cheese, and it included a donut. I also recommend the papas bravas.

Wow! New place in the neighborhood. The food was great and the staff was kind. A dozen doughnuts were on the pricier side but otherwise this was great.

Was excited to go to this shop since it’s around the corner from me. Went in a little rush this morning and they had so many options and I wanted to buy a dozen for work buddies, so I was trying to take it all in. Well… a shorter male/bleached hair cashier greeted me with a snarky “hi. Have you had a donut before?” That’s all I needed to stop my donut run. You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Food, donuts and coffee are very tasty and reasonably priced! The staff’s super friendly attitude is a major plus as well. They ran out of the bread for my sandwich and were beyond apologetic and even gave me a free iced coffee. I live across the street and will absolutely be coming back regularly. The outdoor seating area is also very peaceful.

I have been waiting for this restaurant to open since they put the company sign up. I am here to tell you 100/10. I was pleasantly greeting and informed about the many selections from the menu by BREE. She recommended the SOURDOUGH & CREAM CHEESE DONUT & it was delicious so different but so good. The overall staff, customer service, atmosphere, and food/drinks is just what the neighborhood needed. Overall amazing 100/10 definitely recommending to everyone. Amber.

Had dinner and the pasta dish was delicious. The salad was fresh, too. My husband liked his lamb dish, and we couldn’t wait to get to the doughnut course! Super friendly service and bright seating area.

Tried it this morning and absolutely loved their food and environment. My friend had the Cuban sandwich and I the big burrito. Very tasty, and served promptly. Great service and great people working there. For a brand new restaurant, outstanding! 10/10 will return!

Yelp
OK, I have to preface this by saying I am a donut stickler. The first year I moved here, I tried all the doughnut spots and thought they were subpar, so I don't really doughnuts like I use to. However, Good Company came to the neighborhood and it takes the crown for good doughnuts in the DC area. They have unique flavors not just for their donuts but also for their coffee. It all tastes wonderful. I came here for the first time this weekend and I've been back three times already, the staff already knows my name, that's how much I enjoy their doughnuts. The donuts are the stars but the coffee gets a close honorable mention. Get the lemon old fashion donut and the strawberries and cream latte and indulge, you won't be disappointed. 10 out of 10 would recommend both those items. There's plenty of seating and they also serve food and cocktails, which I'll have to try the next time I come here.

Yelp
What a exciting new addition to the neighborhood! I love how inviting the space is, with garage style windows and options for both indoor and outdoor perching. I also appreciate the nice range in offerings. From donuts and coffee to sandwiches and cocktails, you can find just about whatever you need no matter the time a day. There are really so few other options on this block and none that check the cafe style, grab and go type of dining needs. Quite honestly, this spot has a better collection of offerings that even any of the similar businesses at the Wharf. So welcome to the neighborhood, Good Company! We are so lucky to have you!

Yelp
Honey lavender latte with oat milk - a hint of sweetness from honey and relaxing taste of lavender, it was a delicious drink for a kickstart of the day! Loved the latte selection this time... I'd choose anything with lavender if I see something like that on coffee/espresso menu! Blueberry lemon scone - scrumptious and soft bite each time! Perfect combination of blueberries, lemon zest and little fluff of scone. Amazing find in this neighborhood. Service was friendly and willingness to accommodate which is a huge plus! It's very welcoming place as you want to take a quick bite and hang back to people watch or hit a book there. It's a nice and chilling vibe. I'm looking forward to come back and take a seat as enjoying some bites of pastries!

Yelp
It's our 1st time here and we're very excited for a proper local coffee shop with lunch, dinner and bar options. Our visit so far was excellent. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The menus is a bit overwhelming with all the options. It took us a while to figure out what we wanted. But we ended up sticking with the basic coffee and a doughnut. Wanted to try the more basic items on the menu to get a baseline of what they advertise. Location is very good close to the metro and even closer to the southwest duck pond. This place already gives a good "community vibe". The outdoor seating is my favorite place to sit and eat and also watch the world go by. The coffees are very good. Excellent presentation. Almost like we got this from a European cafe. The donuts are just as good. The cinnamon sugar doughnut had perfect ratio and was crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfectly balanced and not too sweet. So far I really like this place and plan on making this my regular spot. I will be back for the lunch, dinner, and for the bar. Will check out happy hour too. Not to speak ill of other coffee establishment. But this place is what this neighborhood needs. A local place that is neighbors can dine and socialize. I highly recommend. But admittedly state, that I may be a bit bias bc of the close proximity to my residence. But good coffee and service is nothing I take lightly.

Yelp
This cafe opened up near us a few weeks ago and we've been meaning to go ever since. We were finally able to go today, and it did not disappoint. They have a ton of options, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and pastries. We got the veggie breakfast burrito and the grilled cheese and tomato soup lunch special, which comes with a donut. Everything was delicious. The breakfast burrito was nice and creamy and flavorful. The grilled cheese and tomato soup were also very hearty. The donut was excellent. The service was really good too. We sat outdoors in great weather and overall had a great time. We plan on coming back here many more times in the future.

Yelp
Great neighborhood spot! We had coffee and doughnuts as a much needed Friday pick me up and this place did not disappoint. The pistachio chocolate and blueberry cheesecake were a standout. Great service and ambiance as well.

Yelp
Finally, a cafe very close to my home instead of having to walk to the Wharf! Honey lavender latte (hot with oat milk) was absolutely delicious (my girlfriend always orders the best latte selections). Blueberry lemon scone was great and soft inside, although a bit dry on the outside. Service was wonderful and friendly. Ambience was beautiful, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. I hope more cafes like this will build around here.

Yelp
I am SO EXCITED about this new addition to the neighborhood. I went for breakfast soon after they opened, and while service was a bit slow, they were very friendly and the food was good. I had the chorizo breakfast sandwich on gluten-free bread - and while a chorizo breakfast sandwich is nothing unique, the addition of sherry mushrooms made it stand out. I also got a green smoothie, which was very good - not too sweet, thankfully. They have a huge menu, and lots of seating. I can't wait to become a regular here!

Yelp
Went for lunch during work and it was SO amazing! Their matcha was incredible- sweet and creamy! And I got the brisket breakfast sandwich and its to die for!!! They also gifted us some donuts at my work place which was so kind! Their staff is efficient and friendly. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating plus wifi to do work inside! So excited about this new location and to be working neighbors with them!

Yelp
I had my doubts about this donut shop before it opened. It's on strip of shops half of which folded and remain vacant. The neighborhood kids, both locals and visitors, boisterously descend on the shops with minimal interest in spending a little money in the best case. Otherwise they're not above looting, sometimes with a stolen getaway car out front. The cops keep a cruiser parked a block away. So who in their right mind would open a donut shop here and now? I didn't give them a month. Well, first of all the donuts are all that and a bag of chips. Coffee's good with an array of options, espresso included. Tea drinkers won't be disappointed with the similar menu of options. Service is great. And the coffee and donuts are priced like Starbucks. How could this be? This is a cafe with a full service bar! Hot food is served here too. So hopefully this "donut shop" will endure, and maybe even keep Station 4 honest. Atmosphere is clean and bright. Unless the hot food and alcohol disappoint, I'll stick with my Five Star. At least I'll be back for donuts: a league above Dunkin and Crispy Cream.

Yelp
I would highly not recommend this spot to eat. They have flies flying around the restaurant with no efficient way to get them out. They do not put no net over the doughnuts so that they can't reach them. Some people may just be eating something a fly has sat on almost all day . 1. Flies that sit on doughnuts 2. Flies fly on the food the gets placed in the window before it's taken to the table. 3. The dishes aren't clean in the best way ( just running hot water on them does not make them clean) (NEED SOAP) The bathroom tissue holder is in the worst place possible , you would need to sit all the way back on toilet just to have an effective reach for tissue. Not to mention the big pool of soap that sits on the floor of the bathroom under soap dispenser. Management is disrespectful and discriminates I don't agree. With anything you said with being clean. I also have proof of a recorded conversation of the disrespect and discrimination. So no it's no way a person can change their voice. Equally/ Freedom of speech

Yelp
This place is awesome and exactly what the neighborhood needed. I don't think I've ever actually made a Yelp review before, but Good Company deserves praise and recommendations. The donuts are amazing (best I've had in DC and an impressive variety from classics to fancy), coffee is really good (I'm an easy order there - just black), and the food is way better than one would expect for a new neighborhood joint (I've had breakfast and lunch so far, but not dinner or drinks yet.) The cafe itself is a really good size and works well, with a large patio, dining area, and counter/bar. The staff is great. I've only been three times so far, but they already recognize me. I've had a chat with one of the owners and he's a legit guy. Most importantly is there's nothing else like this in SW DC. Before Good Company opened, it was pretty much just residential or high-end Wharf restaurants. This place fills the exact need our neighborhood desperately needed. As I told one of them I'd single-handedly keep them in business if I had to - but luckily the neighbors have welcomed them with open arms and they always have customers.
