Good Day Donuts

Just needed to pick up a few donuts for my coworkers before work and found this place on Google. I’m AMAZED by how good these donuts are. They are a light and airy, melt-in-your-mouth goodness! Not too sweet and definitely tasted like they were made earlier this morning. I’m not usually in the area but I’m tempted to drive up just for the donuts! Would highly recommend this gem!

McDonald's........Eat your heart out. These breakfast sandwiches are great. I had the croissant breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, ham and cheese. The sandwich is big enough for two people to share. So good. The atmosphere is kinda small and crowded and cluttered but I took my sandwich to go. I'll be back for sure.

I was there waiting for my car to be serviced. Really good donuts, the lady helping me was very nice and their breakfast sandwich was also filling. I’ve gone twice and the blueberry buttermilk bar was delicious. Thanks

OK, so... This donut store part of a mini-mart but don't be fooled into thinking that it is selling prepacked or old donuts. They sell top notch pastries, donuts, fritters etc for very low prices. Ordered 2 large donuts for a few bucks and was pleasantly surprised by their quality. Both were amazing.

Review for March 4th 2022. Good day Donuts is located in Mission Hills California in the San Fernando Valley. Every time I coming here I am greeted very politely and I feel very welcomed coming in here. Great staff and great attention to customer service all the way around. But let me also tell you about their great sandwiches to have here. I had the turkey sandwich and it was to die for. It was very delicious and I appreciate quality food. On top of that, I also have had cappuccino Boba drink. And it is very delicious. It is prepared freshly on the order. I'm not guilty, to say this place has a lot going for it and I definitely recommend for anyone to come here and enjoy a sandwich or a boba with a smile. Thank you so much

I grew up on these donuts. My mom bought them for me since I was growing up and I bought them for my children. Same owners since I was a younger .. same delicious donuts today! Hands down, the BEST donut shop in the San Fernando Valley. The donuts are like eating a cloud ! A must try, you wont be disappointed. It doesnt matter the time of the day, the donuts are always amazing. Side note, the breakfast bagels and boba drinks are worth a try too! They never fail either!

I've been going here since my kids were in elementary school. Good Day donuts has seen my children frow up and go to college. My wife and I still go once a week to enjoy their egg, bacon and cheese croissant sandwiches. The eggs are made with magic and love. trust me you won't find a better croissant sandwich int he Valley. the donuts are always fresh and amazing as well.

Absolutely lives up to its name! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of fresh donuts was heavenly. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick. I tried the maple bacon and the classic glazed -- both were out of this world. The texture was perfectly fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. Their coffee pairs beautifully with the treats too. The shop has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. If you're a donut lover, this place is a must-visit. Love the customer service here. Everyone is always so pleasant. My breakfast sandwiches are always freshly prepared. Love the ice coffee and boba. Prices are definitely cheaper than other chain donut shops. Highly recommend.

By far the best bagel I've ever purchased at a donut shop. I was servicing my car across the street and decided to stop by this shop. I was greeted by super friendly people who were happy to help. Although this item wasn't on the menu they were super accommodating and said they would be able to do it anyways. It's clean, there's a couple tables you can sit and enjoy your meal at. I sat down to enjoy my bagel and as soon I bit into it the texture and freshness of the bread caught me by surprise. It tastes freshly baked and it's so fluffy and delicious. I will gladly stop at this shop again and support their business for a delicious and fresh bagel rather than Starbucks' overpriced frozen croissants. 10/10 recommend!

The owners are very friendly and the food was excellent and the atmosphere why I gave him a five star Ihighly recommend them.

Hello people's it's me again. Let me get to the point on this one. I wanted to do something nice for my daughter. Her birthday was yesterday and just her luck, it lands in the middle of the week. Work is kicking my butt and I'm thinking outside the box. So I come up with a great idea. Why don't I drop off donuts to her school so she can share with her friends. Now where to get them from. I didn't want just an ordinary donut, I wanted a "Wow, what are those and where did you get them" donuts. I went to my trusty YELP app and started scrolling. I came across Good Day Donuts. Looked and some pics, read some reviews and off I went. In-between work and lunch. I arrive and the place is clean, with a variety of doughnuts. There's also a store/sandwich shop connected to it. Like a mullet, business in the front party in the back. Actually it's to the side, but you get where I'm going with this. Christina was at the counter and I approached her with my plan. This is the day before by the way. She told me that she would have them ready to be picked up at the time we agreed upon. I picked them up the next day and they were awesome. She made a variety pack for me as I request. I raced to the school to drop them off. Later that day I got a text with many hearts and thank you papi from my 13 year old. Thank you Christina and Good Day Donuts. PS: Just ordered another batch for work. As always my Yelpers, Happy Eats!!!!!

Quality AND service! I love coming here for the breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches and the smoothies they sell. The sandwiches taste home made and are so satisfying and filling. The food is FRESH! The service here is spectacular! There is always an upbeat and friendly young woman. She even remembers customers faces, so the interactions always feel personable. You won't be disappointed coming here.

So good! A perfect quick breakfast stop while you're in SoCal. We all ordered the croissant with cheese, egg, and sausage and it was steaming hot when we got them. The sandwich was so filling at a great price. The donuts we ordered were perfect- my favorite was the cinnamon crunch. It was soft and fluffy with a nice crunch from the cinnamon. Would definitely go back here when we're in the area!

Although I really enjoy their donuts; I'd like to mention that today they gave me a bagel sandwich that wasn't fresh. I strongly believe it was pre-made today. 11/30/21 The man in charge is quite nice and I wish I could bring my review up to a 4 star review but there is a white pale bucket filthy behind the register. Presentation should always be 100%. I think this is the last time I go there.

So I'm kind of conflicted on the rating this place deserves . On the one hand they have good service but on the other hand the ambience is more like a convenience store. that being said had to knock off two stars one for not carrying French crulers and one for not carrying old-fashioned donuts. They mostly just carry glazed and cake donuts although they are very creative on how they top those so that's a plus. But overall for me if you're going to get top ratings you need to have a good selection of different types of donuts and sadly this place does not so I gave it three stars.

I wanted to be sure to add a review for this gem of a place. Ironically my co-worker who lives all the way on the other side of the country (!!!) was the one who turned me onto Good Day donuts. She ordered from there for my birthday last year and had a gorgeous and delicious box of treats delivered to me. Since then I was hooked! With donut shops available on every corner in the Valley I imagine it's hard to stand out from the rest, but this shop definitely does. My most recent experience was with Christina when I called the other day to inquire about ordering something fun and different for my husband's birthday. I remembered from other Yelp posts along with some photos people shared they seemed really good with making Donut walls/creating customized creations. I figured I would call and see what they might have as an idea. Christina was truly committed to providing exceptional service and went above and beyond to help create what turned out to be a birthday cake made up with all his favorite donuts. She even customized the top donut for us. The picture does not do it justice how awesome it was. I can't wait to go back again for some more of their awesome donuts and sandwiches.

Being from Granada Hills originally, I frequented this donut shop, along with a few others in the area. I hadn't been to this location in years, but the owner recognized me and provided excellent service. Not only are their donuts and croissant options fantastic, but the level of customer service is remarkable. I went there twice on my last trip. Everything from here is delicious.

My daughters party wouldn't have been a total success without GREAT food and Good Day Donuts made it happen for me. The girl who took my order was very kind and straight forward about making my vision come true nonetheless they exceeded my expectations by creating a very very close version of what I asked for (nothing very fancy tho). I can say Im 200% satisfied not only because of how the design came out but also because donuts were so tasty and soft. Definitely coming back, worth every penny!!!

This is a small donut shop in Mission Hills at an in intersection. When you enter the store, on the left side is a donut shop and on the right side is a convenience store. The lady was nice who greeted me. I ordered a dozen mixed donuts with a specialty donut, which was a round donut with Fruity Pebbles cereal on the frosting. The dozen of donuts were squished into a small pink box and totaled almost $20. Not what I was expecting for a donut shop. The glazed donut tasted good.

Had a major event requiring about 25 dozen I called in just a few days before and without hesitation they had everything ready for me! Timely matter! Love this place!

The bagels and croissants here are delicious! The bagel was fluffy, warm and flavorful. The owners of this shop were also very warm and welcoming, I will definitely be returning to try other things.

O.M.G.........what a discovery this place was!!! These are the most delicious donuts I've ever had!!! I just needed some coffee and i stopped at this place for that reason and thought I'd try a donut while sipping my latte since they have a sitting area....the minute I bit into what has to be the softest most perfect texture donut in the world I forgot about everything else. These donuts are THE BOMB.

Their service was incredible, the donuts were delicious, and they came out beautiful. I ordered 6 dozen donuts a week in advance for my cousin's bridal shower. We asked for a very specific color, and then baker worked diligently to make it happen. The staff was very friendly and ordering was very easy. I would recommend them over and over again

Been coming here along with my wife for over 25 years and will continue to come. We've enjoyed all their donuts especially the croissants, which are the best. Unfortunately Starbucks across the street has cut back on some of their but we will continue to visit.

I ordered 19 dozen for 200 guest at my wedding on November 2nd and did I underestimate my count. People loved the donuts our donut wall was a hit people came for seconds and even took some for the road. I wish I would've ordered more. They were so sweet to my wife and I . We our consistent customers. My wife loves the carrot cake here unfortunately if you get there too late it sells out . Thank you so very much for making my wedding awesome

I got 2 words for this place, APPLE FRITTERS!!! I didn't know I enjoyed these treats as much as I did when I took the chance to try it. And boy is there a difference to the other fritters myself and my friend have tried. One example, our manager brought some donuts from Randy's Donuts into our office. Very kind of him, and my go to is the maple bar, but I saw two apple fritters. My buddy and I grab one for ourselves, head back to our desk to enjoy it with our grind. After the first bite.....nothing, not much flavor and very doughy. I look over my shoulder and my buddy has the same disappointing face. So I couldn't settle for this to start my workday. Drove to Good Day Donuts, and there they were, the golden brown, glaze glistening in the light, Apple Fritters. And possibly the donut gods were in my favor because it was the last two for the day. Christina was so super sweet and made my desperate fritter journey so worth it. Got back to my office, tossed the other fritter to my buddy, and synchronously took a bite into the fritters. It was superbly devine, the exterior was crisp on top of the glaze, the center of the dough was firm. Then the second bite lead to the abundant pasture of sweet sweet apples. Something that these fritters lead they way, by having so much apple filling. If you're one who has a sweet tooth, the donuts are delicious, but I put my money on the apple fritters. And generally they run out by late morning, so make sure you get them while they're hot!!!

I think I found my new favorite donut place. The staff is super friendly. I had a craving for a bacon donut which I have never had and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I called prior to going just to make sure they had some and the lady on the phone was sweet enough to put some aside for me. A+

I go to these guys in the morning they are really friendly even if you buy lotto tickets and scratchers from them. Owners should be open to new stuff You don't want doughnuts? They have reg food also and boba smoothies.

This place is a hidden gem! Once you walk in the first time you'll find yourself driving back twice, three x, heck I stop by everyday. What I order- iced coffee with BOBA fantastic . Their glazed donuts melt in your mouth, felt curious and started trying other options croissants, donut holes, cake donuts, twists, bars, Sandwiches....delicious. The service is warming, they will recognize you and your order. WOW, Kind and do an amazing job at accommodating your needs, why wouldn't I come back!!??! This is the #1 part of why I love GOOD DAYS DONUTS, I'm truly drawn to the costumer service - I ordered 130 donuts for 2 donut walls. And it was exactly what I imagined. Good day donuts made my vision come true and I couldn't do without their help and amazing input and service. They had my order ready on time, ready to go. refer to my pictures!

Love love love this place. Small business owned donut shop in a small shopping center. Best donuts in town! The Boba drinks are amazing!! Everything is super cheap! The employees are the owners and they are soooo nice! I try to support their business at least once weekly. Check it out. They have more than donuts and boba. The sandwiches are delicious as well! Just checked out this place while looking for some more unique donuts. The cereal ones caught my eye, so we went in. They're so friendly! And the donuts are great. We'll be back for sure!

The MAPLE BAR. Holy moly is it good! Hangs like a slice of pizza so I ate it like one. Soft, fresh, and just the right amount of glaze. Definitely one of the best I've ever had. Price is perfect ($1). Not a frilly place but the best spots never are! The selection wasn't as enticing as the photos, but it did have a few fun donuts. I usually stick to the basics anyways:)

I was looking for an afternoon treat at work and was glad to discover this place sold boba! They have a pretty good selection of milk teas or slushes. I got the Thai Tea with boba. It was sweet but not bad. The boba was kinda too soft for me. However it's a great deal for a large drink for just $3! :) I'll definitely be back when I have a boba craving. Maybe I'll try a donut and/or their coffee drinks. FYI cash only.

I take my little sister here regularly. Its right next to Alemany High School so it's very convenient. I like Good Day Donuts because they serve BOBA, it may not be the best but it is definitely the most convenient. Not many donut shops in Sylmar/San Fernando serve boba so this is our go-to place . . . especially when we don't feel like driving to Northridge or L.A. The location is small and is located in a tiny shopping center. The parking lot is always packed but for the most part we get lucky. I've had their Taro Milktea with boba and its pretty good! The tea is milky and doesn't taste like its made with powder. The boba is a-ok but definitely gets the job done. Milkteas come in two sizes, Regular for about $2.75 and a Large for about $3.75. The family that works there is very friendly, minus the mom. Since we are regulars they tend to give us a little extra here and there. Tip They only accept cash but they do have an ATM inside. They also sell a wide assortment of products like Advil, Lotto, Shake and Twists and Condoms . . . so I guess it can be a one stop shop for some people. LOL

Had to make another trip to my favorite donut shop to bring home a dozen of these maple bacon donuts. They were a hit with my family and the whole box was gone within a couple days. The service was great like always. Can't wait to come back!

My go-to place for maple bacon so hrs and the owners are so kind! They also have giant cinnamon buns and apple fritters. Can't go wrong w/this place! They have a plastic shield covering the counter and masks are required so I felt safe. Hope this place will always be around!

They have a great assortment of donuts with many eclectic flavors, delicious coffee. I love the Churro donuts the best. Their Boba is fantastic. Yes, it's part convenience store, part donut shop with boba tossed in and yet it all works Because this place is amazing. But what this place has is heart. The family that owns this place are fantastic, friendly people. They greet most people by name each morning and know their order, because we aren't just customers, to them we are family.

Ordered gourmet donuts for my husband's birthday dinner. My sister suggested Good Day Donut in Mission Hills. I stopped by to place my order and spoke to Christina. She was very friendly and helpful. My order was ready at the requested time. The donuts were so delicious not to mention how awesome they all looked. They are also very reasonably priced. Everybody loved them and wanted to know where they were from. I highly recommend this donut shop for regular and gourmet donuts special orders.

Been here since I was a kid! My parents are loyal Toyota customers, so we come to the Hamer Toyota dealership across the street to service our cars. When we do, we would always come here to this donut shop cuz their breakfast sandwiches and donuts are the best. Years later, I've gotten my own car and just like my parents, I come here while my car is being serviced across the street. When I worked morning shifts, I'd also come here before work. Their egg ham and cheese bacon bagel with old fashioned donut and vanilla iced coffee is the ultimate combo for me. Love it!
