Had a buddy that worked in the area invite me here for lunch. He doesn't eat pork or beef and has never tried the hot dogs, but enjoyed the curried chicken sandwich on a previous visit, so he recommended we go. When entering, the staff greeted us quickly and was very friendly and informative. They told us about how the restaurant was in the top 25 on some list and the most popular dog was the Ol'Zapata. They suggested to order a half a dog for half the price and try more flavors. I took their suggestion and ordered the most popular dog plus the Chillin' Dog since I typically like chili and cheese, I ordered onion rings on the side. My buddy had the curried chicken sandwich again with French fries. I figured the 1/2 dogs would equal 1/2 of a normal dog, but after seeing a quite large dog and then getting my 2 which looked like they were each quarter dogs, I felt a little slided, but waited to pass judgement until after I tasted them. While the look of the dogs were great, and you could tell the buns were quality, there was nothing special to me in terms of flavor. My favorite 2 items were the French fries and onion rings. I gave this place 3 stars since the staff was so welcoming and cherrie, but the food was not worth the $34 for what we ate.
