Discover a vibrant community gem in Virgil Village where outstanding coffee blends perfectly with a friendly vibe and a welcoming atmosphere.
"Good Friend Coffee is a cutesy coffee shop in Virgil Village with a cutesy name and a cutesy menu of “fun little drinks” (we say this in all sincerity). This minimalist cafe has pops of primary color and robust WiFi, so you can pull up with your laptop and sift through unread emails. It’s also a nice place to meet up with a friend. Good Friend’s large windows get propped open so a nice breeze trickles in, and you can order drinks like dirty matcha and PB&J lattes that taste like drinking oat milk out of a jam jar." - Sylvio Martins
"Good Friend, a new standalone coffee shop in Virgil Village, opened in early October next door to Virgil Farm Market. Owner Max Rand brings over a decade of coffee experience to the cafe, including five years with LA’s Alfred Coffee. The cafe serves the classic lineup of espresso-based drinks, plus drip coffee and cold brew. Rand curates beans from around the world for the coffee at Good Friend and often rotates roasts. A collection of teas, including matcha, orange blossoms, and rooibos, are also available. The cafe also serves a “fun little drinks” menu with options like a peanut butter and jelly latte, a sweet matcha with brown sugar syrup, and cherry limeade." - Rebecca Roland
"We'd consider any friend who brings us coffee to be a good friend. We imagine the owners of this new Virgil Village coffee shop feel the same. The menu reads fairly standard with espresso and matcha drinks, but the space immediately grabs your attention. The sleek, indoor-outdoor cafe decorated with pops of primary colors looks like somewhere we’d like to post up on the sidewalk with an americano." - sylvio martins
