What a beautiful space. The first thing to catch my eye was that the Good Luck Bar still has an authentic neon light hanging outside their door, which would otherwise be relatively easy to miss, and I thought it was a nice touch in a city where so many spaces are taking less expensive shortcuts.
Once I got inside I was blown away by the warmth and ambiance of the space! It's just so vibrant, with plenty of seating all around. I grabbed a seat at the bar and saw a pretty extensive specialty drink menu, so once I saw that combined with the decor I expected my drinks to be on the more expensive side.
Pleasantly surprised again! I ordered my usual gin and tonics and if I remember correctly they were $7 each, which is definitely on the low end for LA. At most they were $8 and they tasted wonderful! I visited on a Wednesday night and it honestly never got too crazy (although it did get lively enough), and I enjoyed myself immensely. Would recommend this bar to both locals and anyone visiting LA!
