"What It Is: A little taco spot in Greenpoint Perfect For: Dining Solo, Takeout Good Move is a place you should be aware of if you either a) live near Greenpoint or b) feel the need to try every new taco spot that opens in this city. We checked this place out recently, and were glad we did. The space is bare bones (with just a small bar, a few tables, and Weezer blasting on the speakers), but they serve a full menu of cocktails along with some very solid tacos. We’d recommend the fried fish and al pastor. The Verdict: Good move is indeed a good move for tacos, though not an essential one if you don’t live nearby." - Hannah Albertine, Bryan Kim, Katherine Lewin, Hillary Reinsberg, Chris Stang

Try: Great Move. Sofa king legit. Some of the best tacos I’ve had in New York and thats saying something because tacos are to me what pizza is to every other New Yorker. Cute, quaint vibe. Super friendly owner. Food was phenomenal. Wish I could keep this place all to myself but imagine it will soon be slammed once the word gets around. Don’t write reviews ever but had to show support for the best restaurant find in a while.

Honestly the black bean fritter taco is one of, if not the best, vegetarian taco I've had in my life! GO HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Amazing selection of mezcal, great ambiance (not too quiet or too loud), delicious and well-crafted food. You can't go wrong with this very carefully curated menu of food and drinks.

This was a horrible evening out. We arrived at 7.30 and our friends came around 8 and that's when we ordered. We stayed there for one hour before asking about our order and they forgot it. We then ordered some more guac because we felt so hungry and they offered for it to be 'on them' but they didn't say sorry or didn't offer for the meal to be free or anything. When the food finally arrived it was absolutely gnarly, it tasted like the cauliflower was just dipped in black pepper. Not nice. Our mouth were on fire. It was an awkward experience to say the least.

Just picked up food for my husband and I; ordered 2 empanadas which were ok, as well as a burrito bowl and chicken nachos The bowl and nachos were absolutely the worst food we both had in months and could not even eat much of it. The bowl was cold; with the rice being clumped together like it was leftover from days and the beans tasted straight from a can just dumped in; with the rest of the food and ingredients not fairing any better. My husband nachos were also cold (I live close by and it is not a cold night to blame it on that to occur while i walked home); the chips tasted stale and old and barely had any cheese; with the rest also being below average tasting ingredients. This is literally my first ever review anywhere, but feel so strongly and disappointed that needed to write one. Total cost was about $37, which was thrown in the garbage for the most part. I like to support local businesses and I am sorry to write this, but hope it leads to needed changes; so the establishment can prosper because we love Mexican food.

We stumbled upon this little hidden gem late on a Wednesday evening after arriving from the airport for our weekend visit to NY. Tired, weary and hungry, they very graciously welcomed us through their doors at 10.45pm. The service, the drinks and the ambiance we are fantastic, cold presidente on tap hit the spot and woke us from our exhausted state. The food! The food was some of the best Mexican wwe have ever tatsted, the empanadas were delicious! I could eat these every day and never grow tired. Three of us had the chicken rice bowl, which was full of fresh spicy flavors, a perfect light meal full of authentic and fresh ingredients. It really was tasty and I plan to go back again before we leave so I can try it again! We would highly recommend this restaurant and bar, they were friendly,, the service was wonderful and best of all the food was very special indeed. We met Ronaldo, the cook for the night, as we were leaving, we made sure to tell him how much we enjoyed his food, if you are in the area, stop by, you won’t be disappointed I promise!

Fantastic service from Ally (I hope I spelled that right) the bartender and Luke the chef. Clean and cozy setting with music playing from an actual record player. Drinks were strong, food was well made, and the staff was attentive and caring.

Great meal. Fish and shrimp tacos, warm kimchi, and the burrito. All around excellent food, exceptional service (Thanks Allison), and nice atmosphere. Highly appreciated recommendation from Kyle Staggers!

The $5 tacos were the smallest things I've seen since my visit to the Modern Miniature Museum. Good flavors, but totally overpriced. Won't return.
